Guard The Borders Blogburst
As a parent with two kids in Texas schools, I have a pet peeve. I really, really resent that their education is hampered by kids who can’t speak English. I’ve seen classes that move mind-bogglingly slow as teachers have to work one-on-one with children who shouldn’t be there in the first place. It’s enough to make me grind my teeth in frustration!
I am a big proponent of the immersion method of learning a language. It is my firm belief that once in America, immigrants should learn our language, and the best way is by complete and total immersion. When we lived in Mexico, we placed my son into a public school in the local village so that he could learn the language more rapidly. I continued to teach him at home what he needed to know to keep his education above American standards, and his classroom experience was for language purposes only. We asked for no special considerations, we just did what was necessary. It was not easy, but it worked.
That is only one of the reasons it is so offensive to see our tax dollars paying for immigrants, many of them here illegally, to receive special dispensations because they can’t (or won’t) learn our language! But why should they learn, when almost everything is bi-lingual anyways?
Recently in Arizona, an activist judge has ruled that it’s not enough that American citizens pay for a free education for the children of illegal aliens, and it’s not enough that the classes are dumbed-down for non-English speakers, but now the taxpayers must pay exorbitant funds to provide special classes for children who don’t speak English!
One of the most outrageous examples of out-of-control judges is the case called Flores v. Arizona, now pending in federal court in Tucson. Originally filed in 1992, plaintiff lawyers claim to represent an estimated 160,000 children of illegal immigrants attending Arizona public schools.The case seeks to force Arizona taxpayers to pay for bringing these children, euphemistically called English Language Learners, up to grade level. The lawyers are trying to accomplish this by turning a state legislative issue into a federal judicial command.
The background for attempting to accord special “rights” to non-American, non-English speaking residents was predicated on a case in Alabama where liberals tried to add the word “language” to the Civil Rights Act, thereby making it illegal to discriminate on the basis of language. While the case was originally successful in the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, it was reversed by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Based upon that, Arizona Judge Alfredo C. Marquez, appointed by Jimmy Carter, ruled against the Arizona taxpayers, but had enough restraint to recognize that he could not substitute the court's "educational values and theories for the educational and political decisions reserved to state or local school authorities." Nevertheless, he tasked the legislature with performing a cost study.
Over the next few years, the Arizona legislature passed three bills for this special funding. However, none of them were as large as Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano, a Democrat, wanted and so she vetoed all three. Governor Napolitano wanted the Arizona Legislature to appropriate nearly $1,200 per immigrant child, totaling $192 million, without accountability for how it was to be spent. Obviously, the governor, with the judge’s ruling on her side, could sit and wait until the legislature saw things her way.
Unfortunately, the next judge in succession of Marquez, upped the ante. Appointed by Bill Clinton, Judge Ramer C. Collins, decided to punitively fine the Arizona State Legislature for not funding special accommodations for non-English speaking students.
In December 2005, Collins imposed fines of $500,000 a day, escalating to $2 million a day, for every day that the legislature fails to authorize funding acceptable to the governor. […] Since Jan. 25, millions of dollars in court-ordered fines have been accumulating. If this continues to the end of the legislative session, the fines will total more than $77 million.
Who knew that an activist judge could legislate taxes and state funding?
If there is any issue that should be clearly and exclusively a function of the legislature elected by the people it is the matter of raising taxes and spending the people's money. Unfortunately, there are many supremacist judges who think they (in this case, a judge and a governor) can order the legislature to raise taxes and tell them how to spend taxpayer money.
While many Americans in other states think that these problems are confined to the four states with Hispanic majorities (TX, CA, AZ, and NM) - think again. Small towns across America are finding their educational systems utterly compromised by an influx of illegal workers and their families: Melrose, MN; Delavan, WI; Herndon, VA; Wassau, WI; Des Moines, IA; Raleigh, NC; Fort Myers, FL; Sioux Falls, SD; Grand Rapids, MI and North Platte, NE. Still think it’s not your problem?!
As one small town resident has said, “I, along with millions of other American citizens, am sick and tried of the politicians and others treating illegal aliens like honored guests! They are not honored, and they are not guests.”

How easily we forget
Today is the 13th anniversary of the bombing of the World Trade Center parking garage on February 26, 1993, in which 6 Americans died (7 including an unborn baby carried by one of the adult victims) and over 1,000 were injured.
The mastermind of the bombing, Ramzi Yousef, was convicted in 1998 and will spend the rest of his life in prison. The spiritual leader of the Islamic Jihad-associated terrorists who conducted the bombing, Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, was also convicted in connection with the bombings and is also serving a life sentence without parole.

Of Mice and Moonbats
At some point during the deep dark night, an evil and demented moonbat spirit took possession of the body and soul of my mouse. Yes its true. When I got up this morning, the transformation was complete and my formerly trustworthy mouse had gone moonbat, refusing to slide to the right.
It was horrible to see my former mouse struggle against this evil spirit, as it valiantly tried to throw the demon moonbat off. It actually succeeded a few times, and was able to give me a short slide to the right, but alas, the demon exerted itself. I performed surgery but it didn't help. The demon finally overcame the spirit of my poor mouse and it would go right no more.
I'm afraid I had no choice but to put my poor mouse out of its misery by first throwing it against the wall and then stomping on it. Now my mouse is dead and hopefully, the demon died with it. One can't be too sure though, and so, I am playing a tape of Bush's Inauguration speech, just in case.

The Central Intelligence Agency did not target Al Qaeda chief Osama bin laden once as he had the royal family of the United Arab Emirates with him in Afghanistan, the agency's director, George Tenet, told the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks on the United States on Thursday.
Had the CIA targeted bin Laden, half the royal family would have been wiped out as well, he said.

It turns out that an anti-Israeli foundation run by the crown prince of Dubai owns the very deed to CAIR's headquarters located almost in the shadow of the U.S. Capitol. The foundation has held telethons to support families of Palestinian suicide bombers.
The UAE supports terrorists, the UAE funds terrorists, the UAE honors terrorists. So what does that make the UAE?

Founder of UAE Think Tank Salutes Mothers of Palestinian Suicide Bombers
The following are excerpts from an interview with the founder of "The Creative Thinking" center in the UAE, Dr. 'Ali Al-Hamadi, which aired on Iqra TV on July 21, 2005:
Al-Hamadi: Haven't we heard about the blessed mothers in Palestine who go to their sons and prepare them for martyrdom for the sake of Allah? The son sets out and on his way, he calls his mother from his cellphone, and tells her: "I've arrived at the place, I am going in." Then he says, "I'm ready," and the mother guides him and encourages him until she hears the bombs go off over the cellphone. Then she bows, thanking Allah for granting her son martyrdom for His sake. Then she utters cries of joy and refuses to accept condolences. She does not open a grieving tent, but rather a congratulation tent, because Allah granted her son martyrdom. Such Hansaa-like women have appeared again in our times. Some of these women commit martyrdom themselves. They may be married women or students, but even so, they are not tempted by this life, and they carry out martyrdom operations for the sake of Allah.

As the U.S. carried out operations in Iraq, the Arab media interviewed many of the Arab Jihad fighters, asking them why they came, where they came from, and about their experiences. H. 'A., from Yemen , who returned to San'aa from Iraq via Damascus , told the Arabic-language daily Al-Hayat:
"There were hundreds of Arab volunteers there – Syrians, Moroccans, Algerians, Palestinians, Libyans, Jordanians, Egyptians, and [volunteers] from the UAE and from other Arab countries, whom I didn't have a chance to get to know. The training in the camp was poor and disorganized, even though the Iraqi officials had welcomed us cordially. Two days later, we were given guns, ammunition, and grenades. They divided us into groups in the neighborhoods at the outskirts of Baghdad , Al-Qut and areas to the north on the road to Mossul. But most of our groups were stationed around Baghdad , on the barricades and in the trenches prepared for us in advance."

In case you were wondering who blew up the Golden Mosque....
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad blamed the United States and Israel on Thursday for the destruction of a Shiite shrine's golden dome in Iraq, saying it was the work of "defeated Zionists and occupiers."
"These passive activities are the acts of a group of defeated Zionists and occupiers who intended to hit our emotions," he said in a speech that was broadcast on state television. Addressing the United States, he added: "You have to know that such an act will not save you from the anger of Muslim nations."
No group claimed responsibilty for the 6:55 a.m. assault on the shrine in Samarra, 60 miles north of Baghdad, carried out by insurgents posing as police. But suspicion fell on Sunni extremist groups, and a government statement said "several suspects" had been detained.

Lynn Stewart was convicted of providing material support, through a press conference and allowing access by her translator, to a terrorist conspiracy to kill persons outside of the United States and conspiring to defraud the U.S. government when acting as counsel to Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, the blind Egyptian cleric who was convicted in 1996 of plotting terrorist attacks against various sites in the New York City area.
Lynn was recorded bragging about her skills as an actress which she used to fool the prison guards into believing she was a lawyer instead of a terrorist, saying, "I can get an award for it" which was translated to the Sheikh: "She is saying, Your Eminence, that she can get an award for acting (all three laugh).
"The September 11 terrorist attacks on America were an "armed struggle" like Hiroshima and Dresden. I have a lot of trouble figuring out why that is wrong, especially when people are placed in a position of having no other way." Lynne Stewart
That's just the tip of the iceberg. This woman is truly an enemy of America. In her own words:
"I don't have any problem with Mao or Stalin or the Vietnamese leaders or certainly Fidel locking up people they see as dangerous. Because so often, dissidence has been used by the greater powers to undermine a people's revolution." Lynne Stewart
and during her trial:
"To rid ourselves of the entrenched, voracious type of capitalism that is in this country that perpetuates sexism and racism, I don't think that can come nonviolently." Lynne Stewart
"I don’t believe in anarchistic violence, but in directed violence. That would be violence directed at the institutions which perpetuate capitalism, racism, and sexism, and the people who are the appointed guardians of those institutions, and accompanied by popular support." Lynne Stewart
Lynne will be sentenced on March 10, 2006. You can help lock Lynne up for life by writing the Judge and asking him to show no leniency to Lynne Stewart for her crimes and asking him to impose the maximum sentence allowed for plotting with terrorists.

A Western Manifesto
The "Intergalactic Source Of Truth" has written "A Western Manifesto." It is a twenty point rebuttal from the West to Islam and it's awesome.
My favorites points:
5. Even the brightest of flames in the history of Dar Al-Islam were smothered by the Wahhabis, the literalists, the obscurantists. What Islamic glories do the Wahhabis claim, except the glory of hate and death? How does killing glorify or please Allah? Answer that.
7. Islam fosters hatred of infidels through its support for and condonation of concepts such as "infidel," "najis," "polytheists," "jizyah," "dhimma," and "jihad." So long as Muslims do not reject these concepts totally, they will be met with similar discrimination and contempt from infidels. Is this not just?

It is a most excellent read, but its intended audience will never, ever get it. Hatred, death and destruction are part of the nature of islam and no matter what we do, we can't change their nature. Remember the story of the frog and the scorpion:
One day a scorpion was walking along the riverbank trying to find a way to get across the river when he came across a frog sitting alongside the riverbank. The scorpion walked up to the frog and said "Mr. Frog, I wish to get to the other side of the river. Will you help me?" Cartoon Insanity Continues
This just in from Afghanistan, or maybe Pakistan, or Syria, or Jordan, or one of those muslim backwaters...
Students gathered at the university campus chanted "Death to Denmark", "Death to America" and "Death to France", a witness said.
They also shouted support for al Qaeda leaders Osama bin Laden and Ayman al Zawahri.
Shouting "Death to Karzai", they demanded President Hamid Karzai close the embassies of Denmark, the United States and France and expel their forces from Afghanistan.
"If they abuse the Prophet of Islam again we will all become al Qaeda," the students shouted.
I wonder why the are no death to Egypt chants. Perhaps because they are using any excuse at all to riot and destroy things? or maybe they are all a bunch of psychotic backwards cave dwelling morons. Either way, I'm sick of it.
Am I the only one who looks at this picture and thinks.... now that was a good spot for a daisy cutter:
Although, maybe if we let them riot long enough, who knows, they just might kill each other off and save us the trouble.
How come muslims don't protest when muslims kill muslims at protests?

Google Censors America
We've all seen the stories about Google partnering up with China to censor its citizens from information available on the internet.
But it seems that Google's censorship of information is not limited to China. I wonder who they partnered up with to censor me from this:

WTF???? I'd like to know the reason why these two videos are being censored in the United States. There is no rational or justifiable reason for Google to censor access to anything on the internet from the United States of America.

ANNOUNCES NATIONWIDE ‘SECURE OUR BORDERS’ OPERATION FOR APRIL 2006
(PHOENIX, AZ) February 16, 2006 – Chris Simcox, President of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (“MCDC”), today announced plans for the group’s nationwide “Secure Our Borders” campaign in April 2006. Simcox also announced a new operational structure for the original Minuteman Border Project to meet the growing needs of the continued expansion of Minuteman border security operations.
Thousands of MCDC volunteers, augmented by the new national support team, will hold border watch patrols in northern and southern states along an estimated 800 miles of international borders during the month of April. The Minutemen will observe and report suspected illegal border crossings to the proper authorities. As always, they will maintain a “no contact” policy with the exception of providing emergency water to those illegal aliens found in distress in the wilderness.
Last year, MCDC revolutionized the national debate about border security and illegal immigration by focusing the nation’s attention on the dangers of America’s wide-open borders in a post 9/11 world. The Minutemen have demonstrated that the borders can be secured with sufficient political will and dedication.
Since the MCDC 23-mile border watch in April, 2005, interest in joining and supporting the Minutemen has exploded nationwide. MCDC chapters have been formed in southern and northern border states, as well as interior states. To date, 6,500 men and women have passed the required background check and interviews to qualify to become official Minuteman Border Project volunteers – with more waiting in the queue for approval. Over 120,000 people have become friends of the Minutemen through their support and volunteer work.
Given the success of the Minuteman Border Project efforts, and two successful month long 24/7 operations conducted in April and October of 2005, a new national volunteer operational structure has been launched to support the Minutemen. The new structure is necessary to respond to these thousands of volunteers and supporters asking what they can do to help.
MCDC has asked for and accepted the help of experienced border volunteers who have been on the front lines, some for as long as four years. With this expansion we will be ready for the thousands of volunteers who will participate in the “Secure Our Borders” operation in April 2006. This expansion further solidifies MCDC’s ability to continue the largest neighborhood watch effort in American history. The Minutemen will continue their civil defense operations assisting authorities in securing the U.S. borders with Mexico and Canada until properly relieved.

About them Danish
I am told that this article discusses the fact that, in order to gain contracts with the muslim, quite a few Danish firms have agreements in place that they will not do business with Israel. One of the firms, Arla, claims such agreements are routine practice in the country.
Hmph. Guess no one told them that when you lie down with dogs, you get fleas.

Meet my Troll
He calls himself "lalfairy" and he's from pakistan.
lalfairy took offense at some of my posts about the prophet of doom and the death cult of islam. So, he posted a bunch of "beware of muslims" rants on my site. You know, about how evil we are and how kind and gentle and loving and peaceful the followers of the prophet of doom are.
They were boring and I chose not to give him a voice. However, it soon became obvious that my new friend was getting frustrated. So, like so many terrorists before him, he went running over to google, who was happy to give him a voice. He posted the rants over there.
After he posted over there, he came running back to me to rant some more with a linky-link to his new blog. Obviously, this is one attention hungry terrrorist.
So. You might was to click on the pic and give him some attention, but if you do, please keep in mind that big brother has been alerted.

WARRI, Nigeria — Militants launched a wave of attacks across Nigeria's oil-rich southern delta Saturday, blowing up oil installations and seizing nine foreign oil workers, including three Americans, officials said.
Nigeria produces about 2.5 million barrels a day.
Oil prices Friday jumped more than $1 and settled near $60 a barrel on supply concerns sparked by the militant group's threat to launch what they call "Operation Dark February." Now, the threat has become reality.
So. What do you think the loss of 2.5 million barrels of crude a day will do to oil prices?
On Friday, Shell shut down an oil facility pumping 37,800 barrels of crude daily in Nigeria's southern oil-rich delta, following an unexplained blaze at a nearby oil well.
A Royal Dutch Shell official said the company was forced to shut down a facility that moves 400,000 barrels of oil a day - 16 percent of the West Africa nation's output.

Militants said they also destroyed a gas pipeline operated by state-run Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. running from the Escravos area in Delta state to the Kaduna refinery in northern Nigeria.

Table for one, please
The worst thing about being single is how concerned everyone else is about your single-ness. Everyone has a brother, nephew, cousin, friend, co-worker or someone they met at the gym that they think would be perfect for you. Always sounds great, rarely pans out. My worst blind date was set up by a very good friend. The guy had one of those yucky weird goatee thingies (that she knows I hate) and I ended up being the best dressed person at live wrestling. Augh.
All of my married Jewish friends rattle on about J-Date, it seems everyone knows someone who fell in love on J-Date. That is, everyone except, of course, me. I don't know anyone who fell in love via an internet dating service. I did however, meet one sociopath on a popular conservative posting board. Lesson learned.
So? What's the point?
To all my well intentioned friends: Stop telling me to join J-Date, okay? I'd rather stay single than sort through that crap.

The Betrayal of Denmark (and of Us All)
This is how the Danes feel today:
We are being pissed upon. I think it was the long departed H.C. Hansen, one of the great Danish statesmen of the last century, who – as the communists were demonstrating in front of Christiansborg [the Danish Parliament] – cast his gaze across the palace square and remarked: “I will not be pissed upon.”
Then he did what was necessary.
I feel that currently my beloved country is being pissed upon rather too much. Denmark has not been neglecting its duties on the international stage. We have supported poor people with acts and advice, we have worked for peace, we have sent soldiers, policemen and experts to all the far flung corners of the world. We have democracy, a rule of law and a welfare state. Not all is perfect, but we harbor no malice towards our fellow men.
And yet Denmark is being pissed upon. The spokesman of the US State Department is pissing on Denmark, the British Secretary of Foreign Affairs is pissing on Denmark, the President of Afghanistan is pissing on Denmark, the Government of Iraq is pissing on Denmark, other Muslim regimes are pissing on Denmark. In Gaza, where Danes for years have provided humanitarian aid, crazed Imams encourage people to cut off the hands and heads of the cartoonists who made the drawings of Mohammed for the Jyllands-Posten newspaper.
Excuse my choice of words, but all this pissing is pissing me off.
What is going on? I am not referring so much to the threats against Danish citizens and Danish commerce. Nor to the burnt down Embassies. I am thinking of a word that keeps popping up whenever the Mohammed cartoons are mentioned.
That word is BUT. A sneaky word. It is used to deny or qualify what one has just said.
How many times lately have we not heard people of power, the Opinion Makers and others say that of course we have freedom of speech, BUT.
They have said it, all of them, from Kofi Annan, the UN Secretary General, to our own Bendt Bendtsen [a Danish Politician]. Once we had to be sensitive to the easily hurt feelings of the Nazis, then came the Communists, now it is the Islamists. The reason I say ‘Islamists’ is that I do not for a moment believe all the world’s Muslims are pissing on us. I think we are dealing with thugs, fools and misled people. Those are the ones we have to deal with, and then the chickenshit politicians.

After filming their goodbyes, the two Hamas suicide terrorists went to the Karni Crossing and killed an Israeli soldier. The clip includes scenes of preparation of a tunnel, and hiding explosives in the tunnel.
Hamas placed the video on its website in February 2006 - after the Palestinian parliamentary elections. The terrorist act glorified in the video occurred over a year ago, on December 7, 2004.

Contrary to popular belief, most illegals coming to the USA already had jobs in the country that they left. Also, they are seeking much higher paying jobs than some might believe. Their days of trying to just pick fruit are over!

So much for all that talk about illegals needing to find work. They already had work where they came from. They just come to the USA for a higher wage. And so much for all that talk about illegals only filling jobs "that Americans will not do". As I've previously explained, Americans did those jobs and can do them again. And never mind "those jobs", now the illegals are going for YOUR JOB. They want to move up the pay scale. The illegals coming in now are better educated than prior generations and so they are seeking higher paying jobs that require a higher skill set.

On February 10, 2005, Lynne Stewart was convicted of helping terrorists by smuggling messages of violence from one of her imprisoned clients -- a radical Egyptian sheik -- to his terrorist disciples on the outside. A Religion of Peace Celebration
The peaceful followers of peaceful Islam took some time off from peaceful rioting, burning, pillaging, beheading infidels, killing Jews and killing each other in the name of their peaceful g0d to peacefully celebrate the peaceful holy islamic holiday of Ashura.
In order to participate, you will need a sharp sword and metal chains to flagellate yourself in this unique Religion of Peace ceremony. You will also need white robes to show off the blood and gore to your fellow celebrants. Children and horses are expected to participate.
Some of you may be horrified to see these pictures but you are urged to remember that this is but one more way to worship the Prophet of Doom a/k/a Allah, and despite appearances to the contrary, this is a religion and not a cult. In fact, it is the Religion of Peace.
Therefore, this type of behavior is not to be considered abuse, even when it is children who are being beaten and bloodied with swords and chains.
Remember, there's no crying allowed.
So shut up and enjoy the show. You might as well get used to these images, after all, if the left has its way, you will soon be able to view these things first hand in the streets of America. In fact, you will probably be expected to participate, that is, of course, if you would like to keep your head.

I agree with the asshole, the trial is a circus since Moussaoui pleaded guilty last year to charges he was part of conspiracy that led to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States.

Guard the Borders Blogburst
Anchor babies. We all know about this: illegal immigrants, sneaking across the border just in time to rush to the hospital and give birth for free at any hospital (thanks to the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act of 1985). Right now, those babies born on our land are given automatic citizenship, which allows the illegal parents to not only stay in our country, but reap the benefits of a government-paid lifestyle: food stamps, free health care, free schools, free everything.
What's the problem, besides the fact that none of them should be here to begin with? The Constitution doesn't even give them this right - unlike what open border lobbyists will have you believe. The entire "anchor baby" problem is due to a complete and utter bastardization of the American Constitution. The phrase "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof" is in that amendment. It means those who subscribe to the laws of the land; those who come under American jurisdiction; those who choose to be American.
Jack Ward has a phenomenal article on anchor babies, and explains the misinterpretation:
To understand the correct interpretation of the 14th Amendment we need to understand what the co-author of the amendment wrote about the Amendment. In 1866, Senator Jacob Howard wrote, "This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors, or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons." Senator Howard wrote the addition phrase specifically because he wanted to make it clear that the simple accident of birth in the US is not sufficient to justify citizenship.
Does the government already know this? Yes.
The US Supreme Court recognized this when they ruled in 1873 that the phrase (and subject to the jurisdiction thereof)
