Palestinian Terrorism by The Numbers

Ma'ariv International reports: that "since the intifada erupted four years ago, 1,017 Israelis were killed, of them 70% were civilians and 30% members of Israeli security forces, data published by the ISA this (Monday) afternoon after four years of confrontation. According to the data, Palestinian militants terrorists perpetrated 13,730 shooting attacks and 138 suicide bombings. Nearly 5,600 Israelis were injured during the time period, of them 82% civilians and 18% security forces personnel."

According to the report, the bloodiest year was 2002 during which 452 Israelis were killed and 2,309 sustained injuries. A significant drop has occurred since then, culminating in 2004 during which 97 Israelis were killed, another 441 injured.

Using such a time table to report terrorism in Israel is irresponsible and misleading. Anyone who thinks these numbers reflect the terrorism inflicted upon Israel by palestinian terrorists is simply delusional.

Shin Bet reports that there has been an 84% decrease in the number of Israelis killed in terror attacks since the completion of the first portion of the security fence in August last year that comprises 134 kilometers between Salem and Elkana.

From author Naomi Ragen in Israel:

"You're not going to believe this, but the very same EU that has been hammering Israel about the fence is now building one of its own, maybe even with Israeli help. This is NOT a joke!"

Yup. The good people at the EU condemned Israel and voted against it at the UN General Assembly for building a security fence. Never mind that the purpose of the fence was to keep palestinians with explosive belts strapped to their bodies from killing Jews. They condemned it nonetheless.

Still, the EU is planning a separation fence of its own. The EU plans to build a fence to separate its new members - Poland and Hungary - from its new neighbors - Russia, Belarus and Ukraine - to prevent the free movement of migrants seeking to enter the EU.

None of those migrants from Poland and Hungary come equipped with a explosive belt and none of them migrants are hell-bent on murder, mayhem and chaos. But the EU fence is okay.

Not only that but the EU has hired Israeli companies that specialize in the construction of warning fences and security systems to build it for them.

How do you define hypocrisy?

Operation Debate Defense

I've been a little busy these past few days. You see, the first Presidential Debate is being held here in South Florida, on September 30, 2004 at the University of Miami Convocation Center, 1245 Walsh Avenue, Coral Gables Florida.

As expected, the Left will be there. Don't worry... so will we. We had a well attended planning meeting yesterday evening and we are ready.

Operation Debate Defense. September 30, 2004. 6:00 pm to however long it takes. Be there!

How F*cking American Are You

I took the test and here's the answer:

Heh. That was fun. Your turn...

Any Way The Wind Blows

As November 2, 2004 looms ever closer, The Great Pretender continues to be on everyone's side on every issue. It's difficult to keep up with the nuances, and I was glad to find this collection put together by John Hawkins at RightWingNews.

Flip

"Those who doubted whether Iraq or the world would be better off without Saddam Hussein and those who believe today that we are not safer with his capture don't have the judgment to be president or the credibility to be elected president." -- John Kerry 12/20/03

Flop

"...(T)he satisfaction we take in (Saddam's) downfall does not hide this fact: We have traded a dictator for a chaos that has left America less secure." -- John Kerry, 9/20/04

Reality Check

"Well, what can we say of Senator Kerry? He was for the war and then he was against the war. He was for it, but he wouldn't fund it. Then he'd fund it, but he wasn't for it. He was for the Patriot Act until he was against the Patriot Act. Or was he against it until he was for it? I forget. He probably does, too. This is a candidate who has to Google his own name to find out where he stands." -- George Pataki

Flip

"But I don't think anyone in the Congress is going to not give our troops ammunition, not give our troops the ability to be able to defend themselves. We're not going to cut and run and not do the job." -- John Kerry on the $87 billion dollars spent to rebuild Iraq and support our troops in Iraq, 9/14/03

Flop

"I'm proud to say that John (Edwards) joined me in voting against that $87 billion..." -- John Kerry, 7/12/04

"I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it." -- John Kerry, 3/19/04

Reality Check

"My point about John Kerry being inconsistent is best described in his own words, not mine. I quote John Kerry, "I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it." Maybe this explains John Edwards' need for two Americas. One is where John Kerry can vote for something and another where he can vote against exactly the same thing." -- Rudy Giuliani

Flip

"Iraq may not be the war on terror itself, but it is critical to the outcome of the war on terror, and therefore any advance in Iraq is an advance forward in that and I disagree with the Governor [Howard Dean]." -- John Kerry, 12/15/03

Flop

"...(W)e must have a great honest national debate on Iraq. The President claims it is the centerpiece of his war on terror. In fact, Iraq was a profound diversion from that war and the battle against our greatest enemy, Osama bin Laden and the terrorists." -- John Kerry 9/20/04

Reality Check

"I was just back in my office banging my head on the jukebox. This is my candidate, and...I don't know what he's talking about." -- Don Imus, 9/16/04, after an interview with John Kerry that extensively covered his "position" on the war

Flip

"If you don't believe ... Saddam Hussein is a threat with nuclear weapons, then you shouldn't vote for me." -- John Kerry, USA Today on 2/13/03

Flop

"If you think I would have gone to war the way George Bush did, don't vote for me." -- John Kerry, Jan 2004

Reality Check

"When it was popular to be a Massachusetts liberal, his voting record was that. When it was popular to be for the Iraq war, he was for it. Now it's popular to be against it, and he's against it." -- Jay Carson, a Dean campaign spokesman

Flip

"I would disagree with John McCain that it’s the actual weapons of mass destruction he may use against us, it’s what he may do in another invasion of Kuwait or in a miscalculation about the Kurds or a miscalculation about Iran or particularly Israel. Those are the things that - that I think present the greatest danger. He may even miscalculate and slide these weapons off to terrorist groups to invite them to be a surrogate to use them against the United States. It’s the miscalculation that poses the greatest threat." -- John Kerry, "Face The Nation", 9/15/02

"It would be naive to the point of grave danger not to believe that, left to his own devices, Saddam Hussein will provoke, misjudge, or stumble into a future, more dangerous confrontation with the civilized world....He has supported and harbored terrorist groups, particularly radical Palestinian groups such as Abu Nidal, and he has given money to families of suicide murderers in Israel. ...We should not go to war because these things are in his past, but we should be prepared to go to war because of what they tell us about the future." -- John Kerry 10/9/02

Flop

"Yet today, President Bush tells us that he would do everything all over again, the same way. How can he possibly be serious? Is he really saying that if we knew there were no imminent threat, no weapons of mass destruction, no ties to Al Qaeda, the United States should have invaded Iraq? My answer is no - because a Commander-in-Chief's first responsibility is to make a wise and responsible decision to keep America safe." -- John Kerry, 9/20/04

Reality Check

"Even in this post-9/11 period, Senator Kerry doesn’t appear to understand how the world has changed. He talks about leading a "more sensitive war on terror," as though al-Qaida will be impressed with our softer side. He declared at the Democratic Convention that he will forcefully defend America after we have been attacked. My fellow Americans, we have already been attacked, and faced with an enemy who seeks the deadliest of weapons to use against us, we cannot wait for the next attack. We must do everything we can to prevent it and that includes the use of military force." -- Dick Cheney

Flip

"I agree completely with this Administration’s goal of a regime change in Iraq - Saddam Hussein is a renegade and outlaw who turned his back on the tough conditions of his surrender put in place by the United Nations in 1991." -- John Kerry, 7/29/02

Flop

"It's the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time." -- John Kerry, 9/06/04

Reality Check

"Senator Kerry says, "America should go to war not when it wants to go to war but when it has to go to war." Well, Senator, the firefighters and cops who ran into those burning towers and died on September 11th didn't want to go to war. They were heroes in a war they didn't even know existed. America did not choose this war. But we have a president who chooses to win it." -- George Pataki

Flip

"George, I said at the time I would have preferred if we had given diplomacy a greater opportunity, but I think it was the right decision to disarm Saddam Hussein, and when the President made the decision, I supported him, and I support the fact that we did disarm him." -- John Kerry, Democratic Debate, 5/3/03

Flop

"Are you one of the anti-war candidates?" -- MSNBC’S Chris Matthews, 1/6/04

"I am, yes, in the sense that I don't believe the president took to us war as he should have, yes. Absolutely. Do I think this president violated his promises to America? Yes, I do, Chris. Was there a way to hold Saddam Hussein accountable? You bet there was and we should have done it right." -- John Kerry, 1/6/04

Reality Check

"(John Kerry) even, at one point, declared himself as an anti-war candidate. And now he says he's pro-war candidate. At this rate, with 64 days left, he still has time to change his position four or five more times." -- Rudy Giuliani

Flip

"I think the judgment of a nominee who doesn't understand that having Saddam Hussein captured will make it extraordinarily difficult to be able to beat an incumbent wartime president who captured Saddam Hussein. And let me tell you why, Tim. Saddam Hussein took us to war once before. In that war, young Americans were killed. He went to war in order to take over the oil fields. It wasn't just an invasion of Kuwait. He was heading for the oil fields of Saudi Arabia. And that would have had a profound effect on the security of the United States. This is a man who has used weapons of mass destruction, unlike other people on this Earth today, not only against other people but against his own people. This is a man who tried to assassinate a former president of the United States, a man who lobbed 36 missiles into Israel in order to destabilize the Middle East, a man who is so capable of miscalculation that he even brought this war on himself. This is a man who, if he was left uncaptured, would have continued to be able to organize the Ba'athists. He would have continued to terrorize the people, just in their minds, because of 30 years of terror in Iraq." -- John Kerry on NBC's "Meet The Press, 1/11/04

Flop

"The only legitimate reason (to go to war was) the weapons of mass destruction question. But after you built the international coalition, exhausted the [U.N.] inspections and you have no other choice." -- John Kerry, 9/07/04

Reality Check

"The years of keeping Saddam in a box were coming to a close. The international consensus that he be kept isolated and unarmed had eroded to the point that many critics of military action had decided the time had come again to do business with Saddam, despite his near daily attacks on our pilots, and his refusal, until his last day in power, to allow the unrestricted inspection of his arsenal. Our choice wasn't between a benign status quo and the bloodshed of war. It was between war and a graver threat. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Not our critics abroad. Not our political opponents. And certainly not a disingenuous film maker who would have us believe that Saddam's Iraq was an oasis of peace when in fact it was a place of indescribable cruelty, torture chambers, mass graves and prisons that destroyed the lives of the small children held inside their walls." -- John McCain

Conclusion

The war on terrorism is serious business, not some petty political game. While the war is in progress, the lives of our troops, 27 million Iraqis, and countless Americans here at home depend on the decisions made by our Commander-In-Chief.

Given that, do we really want a President who'll radically alter his position on something as important as the war in Iraq based on nothing more than which way the prevailing political winds are blowing? Literally millions of lives, American and Iraqi, may be saved or lost by decisions that are going to be made over the next four years in the White House. So think hard about this, do you really think someone as feckless as John Kerry can be trusted with that sort of responsibility? Obviously, the answer is no...

Ann Nails It!

"The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth show the role of the individual in history. It wasn't Republican strategists who finished Kerry off two months before the election; it was the American people. The Swift Boat veterans came along and kicked Kerry in the shins and no matter how much heat they took, they were brave and wouldn't give up. ... CBS was forced to run a fake story so early in the campaign that it was exposed as a fraud -- only because of the Swift Boat vets. These brave men, many of them decorated war heroes, have now not only won the election for Bush, they have ended Dan Rather's career. It's often said that we never lost a battle in Vietnam, but that the war was lost at home by a seditious media demoralizing the American people. Ironically, the leader of that effort was Rather's predecessor at CBS News, Walter Cronkite, president of the Ho Chi Minh Admiration Society. It was Cronkite who went on air and lied about the Tet offensive, claiming it was a defeat for the Americans. He told the American people the war was over and we had lost. Ronald Reagan said CBS News officials should have been tried for treason for those broadcasts. CBS has already lost one war for America. The Swift Boat Vets weren't going to let CBS lose another one." --Ann Coulter

Nope... No Terrorists Here

The Great Pretender once again proves his ignorance of foreign affairs, the origins and the impact of terrorism and of course, the history of Iraq. It makes me wonder where The Great Pretender was during the years 1980 through March 2003.

"Iraq is now what it was not before the war, a haven for terrorists." John F. Kerry, September 24, 2004

Iraq and terrorism go back decades. Baghdad trained Palestine Liberation Front members in small arms and explosives. Saddam used the Arab Liberation Front to funnel money to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers in order to prolong the Intifada. And it's no secret that Saddam's own intelligence service was involved in dozens of attacks or attempted assassinations in the 1990s.

"Iraq is now what it was not before the war, a haven for terrorists." John F. Kerry, September 24, 2004

Iraq was a haven for palestinian international terrorist Abu Abbas, who was captured in Baghdad in April of 2003. Palestinian terrorists under Abbas' command hijacked the Achille Lauro in October 1985. During the hijacking, Leon Klinghoffer -- a 69-year-old wheelchair-bound American Jew who was with his wife of 36 years on the cruise -- was killed and dumped into the sea. "He created troubles. He was handicapped but he was inciting and provoking the other passengers. So, the decision was made to kill him," Abbas told the Boston Globe in 1998.

Abu Abbas had been living in Baghdad since 1994, under the protection of Saddam Hussein.

"Iraq is now what it was not before the war, a haven for terrorists." John F. Kerry, September 24, 2004

Iraq was a haven for palestinian international terrorist Abu Nidal, and The Abu Nidal Organization ("ANO"), in fact, Saddam participated in forming the ANO, sheltered the ANO, and sponsored ANO. The ANO is responsible for terrorist attacks in 20 different countries, which killed more than 300 people, as well as wounding hundreds more. In the mid-1980s, the group was seen as the world’s most dangerous terrorist organization. Experts say that Abu Nidal worked with Iraqi intelligence while representing Fatah in Baghdad. Although Saddam Hussein expelled Abu Nidal and the ANO in an attempt to win American military support for Iraq’s 1980s war with Iran, once the war ended, Iraq resumed its support of Abu Nidal. The ANO is now believed to be based in Iraq, with cells in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.

"Iraq is now what it was not before the war, a haven for terrorists." John F. Kerry, September 24, 2004

Iraq was a haven for the radical Kurdish Islamic terrorist group Ansar al-Islam. This terrorist group has ties with both the Taliban and with al-Qaeda. It is the most radical group operating in the Iraqi Kurdistan region. Ansar al-Islam activities include: razing of beauty salons, burning a school for girls, and the murder of women for refusing to wear the burqa. It has seized a Taliban-style enclave of 4,000 civilians and several villages near the Iranian border. It is also responsible for ambushing and killing of 42 Kurdish soldiers. Ansar al-Islam is in a state of war with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK). It was responsible for the assassination in 2001 of a senior official of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Franso Hariri, and for the attempted killing of Burhan Salih, head of the PUK-led Iraqi Kurdistan regional government.

"Iraq is now what it was not before the war, a haven for terrorists." John F. Kerry, September 24, 2004

Iraq was a haven for the deadly terrorist network headed by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, an associate and collaborator of Usama bin Laden and his al-Qaida lieutenants. In 2002, Zarqawi was in Baghdad for medical treatment, staying in the capital of Iraq for two months. Also in 2002, an al-Qaida associate bragged that the situation in Iraq was "good," that Baghdad could be transited quickly. Also in 2002, two suspected al-Qaida operatives were arrested crossing from Iraq into Saudi Arabia. They were linked to Zarqawi's Baghdad cell and one of them received training in Afghanistan on how to use cyanide.

Zarqawi's terrorism is not confined to the Middle East. Zarqawi and his network have plotted terrorist actions against countries including France, Britain, Spain, Italy, Germany and Russia.

"Iraq is now what it was not before the war, a haven for terrorists." John F. Kerry, September 24, 2004

Jeepers. I guess The Great Pretender was out windsurfing during those intelligence briefings. Or maybe he just shredded those memos too.

How can The Great Pretender keep America safe from terrorism when he is completely ignorant of who the terrorists are, and where they are? If I know, why doesn't the man who aspires to be President of the United States of America and Commander in Chief of our Military know?

Beer For Soldiers

When was the last time you popped a nice cold one? Was it good? Did it go down smooth?

Beer. Yup. You can have a beer anytime you feel like it. Probably got a few in the fridge right now, just waiting for you.

Next time you have a beer, take a moment and think about the soldiers who are deployed all over the world, the soldiers who have given you the great gift of freedom, freedom to have a beer or any damn thing you want, when you want it.

Ya know... them soldiers sure would like a beer. Damn right they would. So? Buy 'em one! It's the least you can do.

Can you say... Racism?

A Maryland high school is having a reunion for its graduates from the 1940s, 50s and 60s.

So? Why is this news?

Well, the reunion is being described as a "racist throwback to another era" because no African-Americans will be attending the events, reports the Associated Press.

Guess what? That’s because there were no African-American students at Washington High School in those decades before integration.

Mickey Wigglesworth, a retired banker and 1957 graduate who has spent the past year organizing the event at the Somerset County Civic Center, said there was no intent to exclude blacks.

Instead, he said, it is a gathering of students from three decades who share music and culture from the era of sock hops and jukeboxes.

But because there are no blacks who graduated this school in those decades, it's still racist, right?

I guess my family reunion would be racist too. Good thing we are not having one.

As long as we are talking about racism...

The Detriot Free Press reports that the City Council has an economic development plan code named "Powernomics" that explicitly blames the plight of Detroit’s black residents on immigrants from Mexico, Asia and the Middle East.

Powernomics will create a development corporation that would operate as a loan fund exclusively for black entrepreneurs and set aside city money for an exclusively African-American business district dubbed African Town. African Town will be funded exclusively by Chicago taxpayers.

In voting to implement the Powernomics plan, the council also passed a resolution that designates blacks, who make up 83 percent of Detroit's population, as the "majority minority."

And just for the heck of it, I'll thow this one in too:

The Lafayette Advertiser reports a Louisiana city clerk who attempted to stop a black city councilman from using city employees to fix traffic tickets was labeled a racist for her efforts.

It seems the councilman asked the city clerks to write letters on council letterhead seeking to get an unpaid cellphone bill and a traffic ticket he received dismissed. Lafayette Council Clerk Norma Dugas told her staff they were not to conduct personal business for councilman Chris Williams on city time.

When he found out about Dugas’ efforts to enforce the law, Williams attacked Dugas for being a racist who was harassing him because he is African-American.

Whose Line Is It Anyway?

I bet you can't guess who said this:

If I hear one more person tell me how lousy a candidate Kerry is and how he can't win... Dammit, of COURSE he's a lousy candidate -- he's a Democrat, for heavens sake! That party is so pathetic, they even lose the elections they win! What were you expecting, Bruce Springsteen heading up the ticket? Bruce would make a helluva president, but guys like him don't run -- and neither do you or I. People like Kerry run.

Yes, OF COURSE any of us would have run a better, smarter, kick-ass campaign. Of course we would have smacked each and every one of those phony swifty boaty bastards down. But WE are not running for president -- Kerry is. So quit complaining and work with what we have. Oprah just gave 300 women a... Pontiac! Did you see any of them frowning and moaning and screaming, "Oh God, NOT a friggin' Pontiac!" Of course not, they were happy. The Pontiacs all had four wheels, an engine and a gas pedal. You want more than that, well, I can't help you.

Yup. If Kerry is a Pontiac, well then... Bush is a Cadillac. It's true!

So. Who said it?

Would you believe.... Michael Moore? Yup. It's right here at "Mike's Words : Mike's Message" only at MichaelMoore.com.

But wait! There's moore:

Geez, this is embarrassing! The Republicans are laughing at us. Do you ever see them cry, "Oh, it's all over! We are finished! Bush can't win! Waaaaaa!"

Ya know Mike, now that you mention it, I realize that there has been an awful lot of that over at DU.

[Republicans] are relentless and that is why we secretly admire them -- they just simply never, ever give up. Only 30% of the country calls itself "Republican," yet the Republicans own it all -- the White House, both houses of Congress, the Supreme Court and the majority of the governorships. How do you think they've been able to pull that off considering they are a minority? It's because they eat you and me and every other liberal for breakfast....

Oh yeah. We make them cry too!

Look at us -- what a bunch of crybabies.... Suddenly it's like, "THE END IS NEAR! THE SKY IS FALLING!"

Hey Mike, can you say "girlie-men?"

Sumner Sells Some Stock

This is interesting.

It seems that Sumner Redstone, Chairman and CEO of CBS owner Viacom Corporation exercised his option to sell 341,500 shares of Viacom stock.

On September 14, 2004. When the stock was at $35.00. He sold them at $35.00.

Viacom Stock went as low as $33.92 today and closed at $34.04.

So. It makes you wonder. What did Sumner know and when did he know it?

America~ameriKa

Which is it to be? Right now we have a dichotomy tearing America apart, and the outcome will decide the true fate of this country and our entire way of life. If you think this a bit over the top, let’s look at what we once were.

America;
-stood up to bully nations as a people, and stopped fascists, Nazis and communists.
-send aid to any country suffering a natural disaster, and we were the first on site!
-welcomed those who worked hard to be come citizens, as citizens with all rights.
-out produced nearly every other country with new technologies and products.
-created a country so free and dynamic we became the standards others judged by.
-based on Freedom of Religion, something almost impossible elsewhere.
-a country, where personal freedoms were important enough to defend.
-a country where family values were actually a part of families, not just words.

America today is caught between the way we were, and the forces of enemies both internal and external, and we are reeling from the assaults they hurl at us daily.

This would have only made us all the more determined to win, as it did during the Second World War, but we have been nearly gutted of that spirit today. For generations, the liberal school system (Liberal Values Indoctrination Centers), has taught the young that America is always in the wrong, we are the reason every nut case and evil happens in this world, and only if we do what the rest of the world wants will they like us, a little. Using the hammers of PC Thought Control, Junk Science, False Environmental ‘Proofs’, Activist Judges, and a corrupted media, the masses have been beat, threatened, molded, and channeled into something far removed from the Americans of our own parents day! Today, we have the likes of MTV sex and violence laced ‘entertainment’, ‘News media’ that builds stories on known bad facts and uses no checking to verify what for them is a good story as far as their agenda goes unless caught in the lie! A child today is told so many lies in their ‘school’, that parents can’t even begin to correct the damage, and if they try, the child will report them to the school, and the school will call Child Protection and have the kids removed for the ‘child’s safety’. Laws are twisted and shifted to empower agencies into nearly every aspect of American life, and we lose more freedoms each day, all the while hearing from the left how ‘It’s for the Children’!

The America we are seeing developing today is nothing like the America I grew up in, or learned my values and Faith in! Today’s America is something that would have made the Founding Fathers puke!

Let’s take a look at what we are becoming, and you decide!

America;
-can’t stand up to bully nations without the approval of others, often dictators themselves!
-can’t aid to any country suffering a natural disaster, except through agencies who take the credit and rob the systems under the cover of International relief.
-welcome those who illegally enter the country, as citizens with all rights.
-stopped out producing nearly every other country with new technologies and products.
-created a country so ‘diverse’ and ‘sensitive’ we loose the American Identity
-seem bent on becoming a nation with a Freedom FROM Religion, then a nation honoring and allowing Freedom of Religion.
-a country, where personal freedoms are superceded by the desires of a few.
-a country where family values are just words, not actually a part of any family.

We see Islam taught in our schools, but not Christianity. That self same Islam declares in its holy book the Koran (Quran) that we, the people of the western civilizations must be mutilated, dismembered, lied to, enslaved or murdered to spread Islam. We see those of the hated Christian faith, labeled as fanatics and hate mongers by those on the left, so afraid of the idea of a God who will judge them, that they have set out to kill him in every venue they can find. We see junk science and environment terrorism acting hand in hand to deny us many things, and these same kooks are being absorbed into the left as new warriors in their battle to seize power. Politicians today are more concerned with their jobs then the country itself, and many have accepted the lefts invitation to tear us down, if it means they can get re-elected. We have borders so porous that illegals come in their millions, and we say we need them to do the jobs no one else wants. Along with them comes terrorists, and many more of us will die so that cheap labor is available it seems. We have become the financial support for many countries whose failing government policies can’t or won’t correct their own problems. Their starving and penniless come here illegally, and they send the money back to keep these ailing governments going. America is being sucked dry by these economic leeches, and we will suffer for that. We are told that if we speak out against such things, we will be called racists, imperialistic criminals, insensitive, bigots, and a host of other names, and too many cave and whimpering, give in.

As an old time American, I’m not going to accept this. I will stand up for what I believe, and I will say it to your face, and if you find it offensive, too damn bad! It needed saying!

We need to remember that we built America from the roots up, not with European permission, or much help. We created this country and its quality of life by our own hands, not those of penny-on-the-dollar illegals. We do NOT have to ask permission for those nations whose backsides we have saved over and over again, at the cost of our boys blood and pain, to defend ourselves. Not from terrorists, those self-same terrorists that many of those European nations allow to move freely through their own nations if they promise not to hurt them! We need to remember that this young America has stood over the course of our few hundred years, to eclipse the multi-centuries old nations that are about to fall to Islam. Because they are inherently too socialist, and so too weak to defend themselves. WE, America, not Europeans, have been the bulwark of the UN and NATO peace efforts, we have reached out to save billions over time, and yet we are ‘scolded’ by UN members that we are getting out of line, even as they aided Saddam, and stole billions of dollars that was to buy aid for those in need. America does NOT need the UN, but it desperately needs us to survive.

With the socialist element destroying the national identity and patriotic will of America from the inside, and those who want to destroy us physically from the outside, America is in a two front war. Terrorists struck and 3,000 victims died and the left tried to squash the images, for those images might invoke a national pride and backbone they fear would ruin their chances for power. We fight a war, and (yes sadly,) lose only 1,000 soldiers in a year of fighting, yet forget the 60,000+ who died in one day during our own Civil War, or the 40,000+ who die annually on our own roads. Liberal politicians deny us the right to profile passengers on airlines, so we have to search and inspect every traveler, instead of the 18-25 year old male middle easterners who rammed the planes into the World Trade Center, so as not to make Muslims feel suspect. Those self-same Muslims, who neither speak out against the terrorists killing innocents, (as is outlawed in their holy book), or in support of America. In fact, all they do is loudly declare that we must not discriminate against them. We have become so screwed up, we can’t tell enemy from friend, and we are going to get stabbed in the back again for being so careless!

It is time to acknowledge the very real need facing America, time to get to work, to roll up our national sleeves as it were, and tackle the tasks to keep us safe;

- We need to close the borders, and begin to deal with the war we are in.
-We need to check those who are here on visa, and see what they are up to and have they overstayed that visa! If so, the next plane has a seat for you!
-We need to find the illegals and send them home, each with a copy of the US Constitution (in their language) and a history of how we did it! Let them find the motivation to improve their own country just as we did. No more illegals!
-We need to get out of the criminal UN, and eject them from New York.
-We need to realize we are at war, and put ourselves on a US First footing!
-We need to begin to look at the multiple internal enemies we have, and send them to courts post haste! Those who have worked to cripple America in her efforts to defend herself are enemies, those who work to spread propaganda against us are enemies, those who give aid to the enemies are enemies, and those who have worked to limit or slow our defensive capabilities are enemies. We need to remind them that America has laws, and we will enforce them in this time of critical need.

Our flag is not a rag, our country is not a criminal, (even though criminals and enemies say so), the American people are among the most giving and supportive folks around, until we get hurt, then we take on quite a different aspect! To those who work to hurt or kill us, we need to be the biggest hammer they ever came across! We need to hit them so hard, the next one thinking that way looks elsewhere! To those who want to make us something less then Americans, we need to say you are not important, and neither is your propaganda and anti-American hate. To those who say you must be diverse and sensitive to others, better keep in mind that ALL Americans have the right to worship as they might, without interference from those who are the real bigots. America or ameriKa (that socialist Utopia the left dream of), you will have to decide, either you stand up for America, or do nothing and get ameriKa. Your choice! I know my choice, I’ll stand and defend that which made this country the shining light it is, to all those who desire the right to be free.

From the "So Sue Me" Files

At last! Something interesting from Reuters:

A Spanish man tried to have his wife charged with domestic abuse because she refused to have sex with him on five consecutive days, Spanish newspaper El Sur reported on Friday.

The middle-aged man from Seville -- the city of Don Juan and Carmen -- said her refusals amounted to "degrading treatment" and domestic abuse, a term used more often to describe wife-battering.

The judge shelved the case, Andalusia-based El Sur reported.

May Your House Fall on You

This little tidbit of good news is brought to you via The Jerusalem Post and courtesy of the Shin Bet security service:

"May your house fall on you" ranks as one of Arabic's cruelest curses. In the sleepy hamlet of Assira a-Shamaliya, near Nablus, last Wednesday, two families of the Jawabra clan paid a heavy price to avoid this blight: They handed over their daughters, suspected of planning a double suicide bombing in Tel Aviv, to the IDF.

Before daybreak, a Shin Bet security service field agent known locally as Gilad pointed to the predawn sky.

"Hear that," he said on separate visits to the two families, "that plane will destroy your house if you don't surrender your daughter to the authorities."

By noon the families of Lina and Adilah Jawabra – cousins, roommates, and terror suspects – dropped off their daughters not at their elementary education class at Nablus's an-Najah University, but an IDF checkpoint.

Well done!

Hamas - Terrorism Supports Terrorism

Day after day, month after month, year after year and death after death, Israel continues to do battle with the terrorist group Hamas. Although on the US and EU lists of recognized international terrorist organizations, Hamas is largely ignored by the rest of world. Hamas continues to indoctrinate arab youth into it's cult of international terrorism, and proclaiming as it's heroes not only it's own terrorists but also Osama Bin Laden, and Hamil Basayev, one of the Chechen rebel leaders who planned the slaughter in Beslan, Ossetia.

Found in institutions influenced by Hamas in the PA-administered territories were CDs containing posters and movies used by Hamas to show, among other things admiration, identification and support for Chechen and international Islamic terrorism.

The CDs are distributed by Hamas in various educational institutions in the PA-administered territories as part of their plan for indoctrination the younger Palestinian generation. The Chechen CDs were distributed by Hamas at the American University in Jenin as early as November of 2003; at Islamic-oriented Hebron University in February of 2004; and more recently, at the Hebron Orphan Asylum, operated by Hamas' Islamic Charitable Society in August of 2004.

They preach hatred and terrorism and call for violence and murder.

Hamas has established its own "army" in the Gaza Strip as a source of power and strength in opposition to the Palestinian Authority, understanding that whoever controls Gaza will succeed the Palestinian Authority. At the Cairo hudna deliberations in December of 2003, Hamas openly and confidently challenged the basic Palestinian view that the PLO is the sole and exclusive representative of the Palestinian people. Hamas demanded partnership status in the adoption of all decisions in a manner reflecting its political strength. Hamas has also demanded that it be removed from the list of recognized international terrorist organizations and seeks permission to operate overseas. Additional demands include the cessation of measures against it's charity groups abroad and recognition as the main power center in the Palestinian arena. Lofty goals indeed for terrorists.

The crisis of leadership within the Palestinian political system is obvious and even as Arafat retains control, the power struggle has begun. It has become obvious that the power of Arafat's Fatah is in decline and will not remain the power center of Palestinian politics in the post-Arafat era. Hamas is positioning itself to inherit the Palestinian Authority. In January of 2004, a member of the Hamas political bureau, Mohammed Nazal, called for contact with the U.S., clearly indicating that Hamas expects to be a future player in the international politics of the Middle East. Israel is now facing the possibility of a Hamas takeover of the Palestinian political system.

As early as 2002, in an internal Hamas memorandum captured by Israel, Khaled Mashaal, the head of the Hamas political bureau, noted that senior officials in Cairo were giving a Hamas delegation a reception that was "grander than in the past." The Hamas memorandum assessed that the Egyptians understood that the Palestinian Authority was weak and Palestinian support for the PA was "waning." It contains a distinct tone of a growing sense of power among the Hamas leadership as it seeks to fill the power vacuum left by Fatah.

From the position of a political body that was not part of the PLO and which competed with Fatah, Hamas has emerged as a key player in the Palestinian leadership, exercising "veto power" over all key decisions, and demanding the lion's share of the Palestinian leadership, while presenting itself as a possible alternative to the existing Palestinian leadership.

This was the basis for Hamas' rejection of the Palestinian Authority's request, raised in the Cairo hudna deliberations, for authorization to negotiate with Israel regarding a ceasefire. Inter alia, Hamas claimed that the Palestinian Authority no longer functions as an effective government in view of the current political and military situation. As a tactical step, Hamas did not categorically reject the option of joining the PLO. Instead, it posited impossible conditions for such a move, the most important of which was the conducting of new elections for PLO institutions, and the adoption of an amendment to the organization's charter in the spirit of the Hamas movement's principles, i.e., rejection of the path of negotiations and advocacy of continued armed struggle for the liberation of Palestine.

There is no doubt that if Hamas is successful in its bid for power, Israel will experience an increase in the wanton and random murder of its people through the brutal acts of terrorism that Hamas is well known for.

What can the rest of the world expect? The answer to that question can be found in the propaganda materials distributed by Hamas to palestinian youth:

The pictures appearing from left to right are: Khattab, Ahmad Yassin, Khattab again, Osama bin Laden and Shamil Basayev, one of the Chechen rebel leaders , who was recently named in media reports as being one of the planners of the slaughter at the school in Beslan, Ossetia. The Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center at the Center for Special Studies (C.S.S) has several others posted here.

Consider that Osama bin Laden's picture appears on one of the posters along with that of Ahmad Yassin and Chechen terrorists. Consider that the regions in which “holy wars” are being fought by holy warriors [ mujahadeen ] include Chechnya, Afghanistan, the Balkans, Kashmir, Lebanon, and, of course, Palestine.

Of course, there is the ever popular a quotation from Muslim tradition about the international brotherhood and Islamic revival of Muslims living as an oppressed minority under "infidel" regimes.

The terminology used by Hamas in its posters and movies is extreme Islamic in nature. Their message of hate and violence extends beyond the borders of Palestine, Israel and the Middle East. The Chechen terrorist leaders, such as Shamil Basayev and "Khattab" are praised, while the Russian Army is held in contempt and its actions are described as "terrorism against the Islamic population of Chechnya." One of the CDs (called “The Russian's Hell”), shows scenes from the fighting in Chechnya, and includes religious messages in favor of a jihad, claiming that those taking part in it go to heaven as shaheeds [martyrs for the sake of Allah] after their death.

Hamas presents itself to its supporters in the PA-administered territories, especially the younger generation of Palestinians, as supporting all muslim terrorists, and includes Chechen terrorism. It also presents itself as part of the violent international Islamic insurrection in regions where friction exists between Islam and the "infidels," and bases its actions on ideology which comes directly from Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda.

As Al-Qaeda must be destroyed, so must Hamas. It is nothing but a death cult led by terrorists and it represents a direct threat not only to Israel but to the rest of world.

Mercy for Saddam?

Cairo - Toppled Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein is miserable sitting in a jail cell awaiting trial on charges of crimes against humanity and has begged for mercy, Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi said in an interview published on Monday.

"He is distraught and depressed," Allawi told the Arabic daily Al-Hayat in an interview from London where the Iraqi leader is currently on a visit.

"Saddam and his cronies are not the all-powerful men that they are sometimes portrayed as in the media," said Allawi, whose government took power from the US occupation in late June.

"Saddam transmitted a message to me begging for mercy. He said they had been working for the public interest and their goal was not to do harm."

But Allawi said his response was: "It is for the courts to decide."

Take Me to Your Leader

How sweet it is.

Israel arrests a Hamasshole, keeps him for a few hours and then lets him go. He heads home and of course, the palistinians do the traditional dancing in the streets to celebrate the return of one of their own.

Later in the day, the guy gets a little visit from the senior field commander of Hamas's military Izz el-Deen al-Qassam brigades, Khaled Abu Selniya, the hamasshole who has been behind scores of suicide bombings and other attacks against Israel over the past decade. He is also involved in the manufacture and development of the Qassam rockets which Hamas has been firing into the Israeli city of Sderot.

On Selniya's way home... an IDF airforce drone shot a missile at his car. Selniya's mangled body was DOA at a local hospital. Charred wreckage from the car was strewn across the street and windows were shattered in nearby shops.

Of course, we get this from Hamasshole spokesman Mushir al Masri: "It was a clear assassination of one of our mujahideen."

Uh, yeah! Figured that out all by yourself now didn't ya Mushir. Wow. I'm impressed! Now, can you figure out who might be next?

So. I guess the UN, the EU and Pope will all condemn Israel for Selniya as they did for Rantisi.

Thirteen Points!

If you can make it past the happy horseshit about how well The Great Pretender is doing, you will find out that Gallup's latest poll has Bush up 54-40.

Heh. Shall we thank Dan Blather?

UPDATE: Among registered voters, Bush is ahead 52%-44%.

Its almost over for The Great Pretender. Yeah, he could bounce back after the debates but I think Bush will tear him to pieces.

The Illegal Immigrant Union

Now this just plain pisses me off. Take a look at three-year-old Sophia Parlock, crying after having her Bush-Cheney sign torn up by Kerry-Edwards supporters on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at the Tri-State Airport in Huntington, W.Va.

Now take a look at the "lady" in the background, the one with the purple shirt, who can't seem to close her mouth. I recognize that shirt. Oh yes I do. I see them every day.

The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) is the union which represents the most unskilled and lowest paid workers. It is the largest and fastest growing union in the AFL-CIO, representing a high percentage of immigrant workers, many of whom are in the United States illegally. Imagine that! The largest and fastest growing union in the AFL-CIO happens to owe much of its growth to the recruiting of illegal aliens. Dues paying illegal aliens.

The SEIU stresses the need "to build a powerful, new immigrant electorate." Their strategy? Complete amnesty for illegal aliens. They rejected Bush's plan for earned legal status through employment because it doesn't provide full and immediate political rights.

Political rights are a main issue for the SEIU. Why? Because the SEIU carefully grooms its members to vote for an agenda farther to the left than that of today's democrats. Of course, unskilled and low-paid workers are prime fodder for the leftist agenda. Those who can afford their own homes and send their children to college are not.

SEIU members are urged to participate in politics even if they are not citizens and even if they are not legal residents. On its website, the SEIU tells them "If you can't vote, you still have a voice."

Imagine the effect of an influx into our political system of millions of illegal aliens working as janitors, kitchen helpers and day laborers, all carefully groomed to vote to the far-left.

Oh. By the way, at its national convention this year, the SEIU adopted foreign policy resolutions such as a call for "An end to the U.S. occupation of Iraq." It also issued a statement claiming "the goal of our foreign policy must be to promote a safer and more just world" and "must give high priority to improving the lives of people around the world. Yet, at the same time, the SEIU believes that forcefully removing Saddam Hussein from power violated these principles.

So. The policies of Saddam Hussein promoted a safer and more just world? The millions of people brutally mutilated and murdered by Saddam Husein should consider their lives improved?

The purple shirt? One of theirs.

Votergasm

Okay. Head over to Votergasm.com, a website that aims to combine two of the freedoms that make America the best country on earth: voting and effing.

Take the Votergasm pledge: Citizens withhold sex from any non-voters, while American Heroes will only do another voter on the 2nd and will withhold sex from non-voters for the next four years. Sure, it's asking a lot, but c'mon... Do it for your country.

Warning: this website does, in fact, feature some models wearing "Manties".

Get the word out and tell your friends. It can only help your chances come Nov. 2nd (literally).

Moosh Better Not!

An exuberant dog left in a truck while the owner watched Canada win the World Cup of Hockey managed to throw the vehicle into gear and coast down a city hill.

A man out for a walk called police after seeing the vehicle coast by with a black Labrador retriever behind the wheel.

Police arrived to find the truck in the middle of a road, blocking traffic, with the dog still at the wheel. No one was injured and there was no damage.

Going door to door, police managed to track down the owner.

"Subsequent investigation indicates that the dog was celebrating the Canadian victory in the world hockey game and knocked the truck into gear, causing it to roll down the hill," Whitehorse Royal Canadian Mounted Police said Wednesday in a firmly tongue-in-cheek news release.

"No word yet on how the dog is doing studying the rules for negotiating the new traffic circle."

I say unto Thee:

Protect the folk from those who would seek to steal away
their precious rights!

I say unto Thee:

Be Thou Swift to shine the Light of Truth upon
those who deceive, delude and dishonor,
hiding behind the dark veil of privilege.

Shine the Light now,
so that Ye may walk with Honor to Thy Destiny.

Rememberest Thou:
whatsoever is the will of man...
the Lord God demands Truth and Justice
from those who would seek to serve
Heaven...

Understand why it Rains, Know why the Wind Howls:
Be Wise when you are offered the Hand of Redemption!
Justice must prevail!

You are the Servant

About those Memos...

The Washington Post this morning: "Rather Concedes Papers Are Suspect." It seems Dan Blather acknowledged for the first time yesterday that there are serious questions about the authenticity of the documents he used to question President Bush's National Guard record last week on "60 Minutes."

About time Dan.

We also have this: CBS Guard Documents Traced to Tex. Kinko's

How important are the Memos anyway? Rassmussen Reports:

September 14, 2004--Twenty-seven percent (27%) of voters believe that the CBS Memos concerning President Bush's National Guard service are authentic. However a Rasmussen Reports survey also found that 38% believe the memos are forgeries.

Among voters who are following the story very closely, 56% believe the memos are forgeries and 27% believe they are authentic. Overall, 38% of voters say they are following the story "very" closely and 34% say they are following it "somewhat" closely.

Only 16% of voters think questions about President Bush's National Guard service are "very" important. That view is held by 27% of Democrats, 13% of unaffiliated voters, and 6% of Republicans.

How Long Without Hockey?

Maybe a year and a half.

Bettman announced the lockout, saying: "This industry is sick. The players are really bearing the risk of this work stoppage. This union doesn't seem to care about the problems, the game or the fans."

Goddenow from the Players Association: "I have quite a chuckle at the insinuation we are triggering a lockout. That is absolutely stupid and ridiculous."

Meanwhile, there are no negotiations scheduled and union leaders have said that they expect to lose one full season and half of the next.

What they can expect to lose are fans.

More Eff'n Promises

Oh puleeze.

The Great Pretender is at it again, this time in Milwaulkee.

"I will fight a smarter, more effective war on terrorism than George Bush,"

"I will make America safe. I defended this country as a young man and I will not hesitate to defend it as president of the United States."

Really? As a young man, he committed atrocities, remember? He blew up rice silos, he shot up villages and he burned them down, and he killed farm animals and pets. Does that mean we were in peril from the goats and chickens in Vietnam? How did that make us safe?

"It's not just making big decisions - that's the requirement of being president. It's making the right decisions. And when you make the wrong decisions, standing up and saying, 'We made a mistake.'"

And just what big decisions has The Great Pretender made that we should believe him capable of making another? Sorry, but what color the bike and the matching accessories should be does not qualify as a big decision, nor does deciding which SUV to drive. And what mistake did we make? We haven't made any mistakes, after all, we haven't elected his sorry butt.

So just when is the The Great Pretender going to give us a little hint about exactly how he intends to accomplish these things? I still haven't received my secret decoder ring, although I hear they will be available in Cambodia just in time for Christmas.

Come on John. Give a us hint... just a hint... Oh never mind.

Let me tell you my plan to fight a smart, effective war on terror. It's the same plan I will use to make America safer.

I am going to vote for George W. Bush.

Whose Military?

Whose military has 709,000 regular, active duty personnel and 293,000 reserve troops?

Whose military has 8 standing army divisions and 20 air force and navy air wings with 2,000 combat aircraft?

Whose military has 4 aircraft carriers and 121 surface combat ships and 19 strategic ballistic missile submarines with 3,114 nuclear warheads on 232 missiles?

Whose military has 232 strategic bombers, 500 ICBMs with 1,950 warheads?

Whose military has all the support it needs, including bases, shipyards and other assets necessary to sustain it?

Not ours, thanks to Clinton and Gore. These are the things they eliminated during their administration.

Who voted to kill every aircraft carrier since 1988?

Who voted to kill the Bradley Fighting Vehicle and the M-1 Abrams Tank?

Who voted to kill the Aegis anti aircraft system, the F-15 Strike Eagle, the Block 60 F-16, the P-3 Orion upgrade, the B-1 and B-2, the FA-18 and the F117?

Who voted to kill the Patriot Anti Missile System?

Who voted to kill each and every military appropriation for the development and deployment of each and every weapons systems since 1988?

Oh yes... its the Great Pretender...

The Great Pretender, that's who.

With a record like that, it should come as no surprise that all the Democrats want to talk about is President Bush's National Guard Service and Kerry's Vietnam fantasies.

The More Things Change...

the more they remain the same.

Israel was Iraq's arch enemy under Saddam Hussein, who believed in the palenstinian cause, funded terrorists and gave financial support to the families of those who killed themselves to kill Jews. During the 1991 Gulf War, Saddam took the opportunity fire dozens of Scuds missiles into Israel.

Although Saddam was deposed by US-led forces in April 2003, there are still no diplomatic relations between the two countries. A day after delivering a speech at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, Mathal al-Alawasi, a member of the Iraqi National Congress Party, was fired from his position in the party for speaking out in support of Israel.

It seems that following statements by al-Alawasi did not reflect the views of his colleagues in the party:

"Many elements in Iraq are interested in the existence of diplomatic relations with Israel."

"Many of the cultured people in Iraq know that Israel should betaken into consideration as an existing fact and that there are generations that were born here."

"It is for the interest of Iraq to create diplomatic relations with everybody, and this is what we want,"

The party was reportedly "embarrassed" by these statements, convened late Monday and decided to dismiss him.

Oh the shame!

Prior to his dismissal, Al-Alawasi said “Of course I am concerned about coming to Israel and taking part in an official convention. I am aware of the risk, but I am here for the sake of the Iraqi people and I view it as a divine objective”.

The former Iraqi opposition figure explained that the reason behind his arrival in Israel is that it is a vital component in the Middle East. “I view Israel as one of the elements that has a positive influence, of those who want peace and quiet in the region”.

Be Fruitful and Multiply

On the eve of Rosh Hashana (Jewish new year) 5765, there are 6.8 million people living in Israel, the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) has announced.

The population is divided between 5.5 million Jews and 1.3 million Arabs. In addition, there are about 287,000 ‘olim’ (new immigrants) who are not listed as Jewish in the population census. Jews in Israel, including the ‘olim’, compromise 81% of the population while the Arabs make up 19%. Israel also hosts at least 190,000 foreign workers.

According to CBS data, the population’s growth rate has dropped and stands at 1.6% only, in comparison with 1.8% recorded in 5763. During the past year, Israel’s population increased by 110,000 people.

The reason for the decline is the lower rate of immigration. Only 22,000 olim chose Israel as their new home in the past year, in comparison with 27,000 duirng 5763. About half arrived from the CIS, 15% from Ethiopia and 9% from France.

In spite of the fact that the number of olim has dropped, the number of Sabras (born in Israel) has risen. In the year 5764, 143,000 babies were born in the country, 6,000 more than during 5763.

It's Just A Nuclear Bomb

There is no reason to worry about a 7,600-pound, 12-foot-long thermonuclear bomb containing 400 pounds of high explosives as well as uranium sitting in the ocean off the coast of Georgia.  Nope.  No reason to worry about the high levels of radioactivity emanating out it.  Nope. Nothing to worry about here.

So. Why don't we all go back to talking about the memos?

Posted by LindaSoG at 04:38 PM

Memo Minutia

The Bush "Guard Memos" are forged, without a doubt

Real or not, the memos have accomplished their goal and served their purpose. The media and the rest of us are lost in memo minutia, and they have become the shield that the main target is hiding behind. The Great Pretender has become invisible.

This close to the election, there are much more important things to put in the public eye. Like The Great Pretender's senate voting record and his double secret plan to save America. Voters should not be required to have a secret decoder ring from Cambodia to know how he plans to accomplish these things.

The Great Pretender needs to be interrogated on these matters. Instead, we are chasing type set experts while he gets a free ride.

Reality is he has nothing up his sleeve but his lies and there is no rabbit in his hat. America needs to see that.

The time has come to roust him from his obmutescence and get him to put his foot firmly back in his mouth where it belongs. (I stole that line)

We need to get back on track.

No More Mr. Nice Guy?

The Great Pretender went so far as to accuse the White House of coordinating 527-ads to attack him.

Last week, The Great Pretender described the Republican convention as “almost nothing but anger and insults.”

The Great Pretender is constantly whining about below-the-belt personal attacks, claiming a “Republican attack squad” and supposed attacks on his “patriotism.”

So now The Great Pretender has decided that he has to start playing hard ball.

Hmmm... how much lower can they go?  Well... they are Democrats.  Here are a few suggestions and remember, I'm just trying to help!

So. Start with an insinuation that Bush is a dictator.

4/2/03: Kerry calls for a “regime change in the United States.”

Call Bush a phony.

6/20/03: John Edwards says: “We have to show this president as the absolute phony that he is.”

Insinuate Bush knows nothing about the world.

9/4/03: Kerry says it “would be wonderful to have a President of the United States who could find the rest of the countries in this hemisphere.”

Here's a good one. Get a drunk, cold-blooded killer to say that Iraq was done for political gain.

9/18/03: Ted Kennedy says the Iraq War “was made up in Texas” for political gain.

Get a babbling idiot to saying that Bush knew about 9/11 and did nothing.

12/1/03: Howard Dean discusses the “interesting theory” that President Bush was warned about 9/11.

Use vulgar and foul language to express outrage at Bush's policies in Iraq!  Nah.  That would be... well... offensive. and stupid. Forget I mentioned it.

12/2/03: Kerry uses the f-word to attack the President’s Iraq policy.

Counter the SBVFT by saying Bush was AWOL!

2/1/04: DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe says the President was “AWOL” from the National Guard.

Get a loser to scream and rant that Bush betrayed the country, no further explanation will be necessary.  Just say it!

2/8/04: Former Vice President Al Gore screams that President Bush “Betrayed this country!”

Attack the entire Republican party.  Spread the dirt around.

3/10/04: Kerry calls Republicans “crooked” and “lying.”

Use the troops again. Say Bush is making the troops targets.

3/17/04: Kerry accuses President Bush of placing a “target” on the backs of U.S. troops.

There has to be away to attack the President's Guard Duty service.  Is there any stone unturned?

4/26/04: Kerry attacks President Bush’s National Guard service three times in one interview, saying the President “can’t even answer whether or not he showed up for duty in the National Guard”; “can’t even show or prove that he showed up for duty in the National Guard”; and “has yet to explain to America whether or not, and tell the truth, about whether he showed up for duty.”

Use word association.  Take a slang word for pedophile and attach it to the president and the vice president too, and at the same time, attack their service.  Do it on the Senate floor to lend credibility.

4/28/04: On floor of the U.S. Senate, Frank Lautenberg displays a cartoon chicken and calls the President and Vice President “chickenhawks” who were “AWOL” during Vietnam.

Use Teresa to attack.  People like Teresa and she could use that cute little foreign way of speaking.

5/7/04: Teresa Heinz Kerry calls the Vice President “unpatriotic.”

Get Nancy Pelosi to attack.  People like Nancy don't they?

5/19/04: Nancy Pelosi calls the President “an incompetent leader” with “no judgment” who “has on his shoulders the deaths of many more troops.”

Back to the Republican Party, after all, they are just like the Taliban and everyone knows that.

5/23/04: Senator Tim Johnson compares the Republican party to “the Taliban.”

Use more dictator references.

5/26/04: Gore calls the military’s prison system “Bush’s gulag.”

Belittle Bush's service and abilities.

5/31/04: On Memorial Day, Kerry says President Bush “didn’t learn the lessons” of Vietnam and is putting soldiers “at greater risk.”

Compare Bush to al Qaeda.

6/28/04: Introducing Kerry, Baltimore Mayor Martin O’Malley says the Bush administration worries him more than al Qaeda does.

Get the Hollywood Idiots Idols to trash Bush for you. Praise them lavishly.

7/8/04: Kerry calls a group of celebrities the “heart and soul” of America after they call President Bush a “cheap thug who sacrifices our young” and his Presidency “a self-serving regime of deceit, hypocrisy and belligerence.”

Attack Bush's family too!

7/9/04: Kerry-Edwards Florida Chairman Rep. Kendrick Meek says Jeb Bush “was like bin Laden after the 2000 election.”

Insinuate Bush is a racist.

7/15/04: Kerry criticizes President Bush for not speaking to the NAACP despite the group’s leaders comparing the President to a Nazi, a confederate, a Taliban member and a Jim Crow segregationist.

Use Teresa to attack.  People like Teresa and she could use that cute little foreign way of speaking.

7/25/04: Teresa Heinz Kerry says “we have basically given scholarships to potential terrorists to become terrorists.”

Use a drunk, cold-blooded killer to attack the patriotism of the entire Republican party.

7/27/04: Ted Kennedy calls Republicans “false patriots.”

Attack the entire Republican party yourself. Get Teresa to talk about hell, she knows all about it!

8/2/04: Kerry calls a group of President Bush’s supporters “goons” and Teresa Heinz Kerry says they “want four more years of hell.”

Say Bush wants the terrorists to kill any Americans who happen to be Democrats.

8/16/04: Quoted in Newsweek, Kerry National Security adviser Rand Beers says the President underfunds homeland security because the most targeted areas are in Democratic states.

Get another Democrat who lied about where he was while doing his duty during the Vietnam War to call Cheney a coward.

8/16/04: Senator Tom Harkin calls Vice President Cheney a “coward.”

Keep the focus of the election on the Vietnam War.

9/2/04: Kerry responds to the Vice President’s convention speech by saying he served two tours of duty in Vietnam while the Vice President obtained deferments.

So. That will show the world when you say no more Mr. Nice Guy, you mean it.

You're welcome.

No More Options for Kerry

The Great Pretender, is it appears, running out of options, unless he wants to really get boring by taking his side show into reruns. Wait, it’s been a constant rerun for years!

Clinton sent in the backstabbing, Masters of Spin, but it may not save the Kerry sideshow. Too many commercials and not anything like good entertainment. A hero who isn't, and an admitted war criminal, caught in yet another lie, and delusional if he thinks his ‘dream world’ creation of Kerry, ‘The Presidential Potentate’ is going to have a long run on Broadway!

It is apparent that to a lot of Americans, All the Wannabe Kings men and all the Wannabe Kings horses this can’t put Campaign back together again.

The liberal press is being nailed for fake memos, Too many good men are standing up to the Kerry intimidation machine, and speaking facts, truths that can be substantiated to a great degree. Kerry has had to begin that painful slide to defeat, by having to admit the first Purple Heart was not earned.

When will the second and third awards be taken too? (Perhaps when the US Navy looks into the facts surrounding them as well?) The “V” on the questionable Silver Star has some very big problems also!

Obtaining medals or awards under false pretenses =Military Offense

Self-Inflected wounds to avoid Combat = Military Offense

Committing war crimes while an Officer = Military Offense

Issuing or producing false action reports = Military Offense

Giving aid to the Enemy during a time of war, (as an Officer) = TREASON

Lying before Congress = Federal Offense

Using lies and pressure to silence detection of above = Slander, libel, and considering the scope of the offenses, most likely Federal in nature as well!

[An interesting aspect to watch is will the Feds be looking at those who have helped these assorted crimes to take place? A ‘breath’ of investigation, and we will be treated to the sight of rats bailing FROM a sinking ship!]

The Kerry Dynasty is looking at being slowly and carefully picked apart under the bright light of federal investigations, war crimes trials, and blogasphere fact dumps that will leave him looking like Swiss cheese. Somewhere along the way, all those ‘helpful’ friends and financing angels are going to drift away from the bright light, and standing there, so very, very alone will be a man having to deal with reality.

There will be no more phone calls from Slick Willie, Kerry will find that line disconnected! The Clinton's have made sure Kerry goes down, setting the stage for Hillary in 2008. Well, at least Kerry knows of a good lawyer, maybe he can hire him, if Teresa is interested in throwing good money after bad.

All in all, the Kerry show is faltering on the edge of the abyss, and we are all watching with morbid curiosity, as to when he will begin that slow final trip over his made up dream past, and down into the obscurity he faces.

Terror Concert Cancelled.

I suppose the show would go on if it weren't for the recent event in Beslan. Sure. Why not honor the arabs who fly planes into buildings and kill Americans. Why not honor arabs who strap themselves into explosive vests and kill Israelis.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - A Russian's plans for a Sept 11 anniversary "terror concert," starring a female singer dressed as a suicide bomber, were thwarted on Thursday when outrage in the wake of the Beslan school massacre led to its cancellation.

A fierce-looking girl clad in a burqa-style black dress -- dubbed the "Little Suicide Bomber" by the media -- was to sing about Muslim hardships on Saturday, three years since the plane attacks on U.S. cities that killed around 3,000 people.

Tickets to the show were made to look like plane tickets, the Izvestia daily said.

"The concert has been canceled ... Who in his right mind would agree to stage it after all that has happened in Russia?" said a spokeswoman for the venue, the House of Unions Hall.

The Beslan school siege, in which more than 300 children and adults died last week, was Russia's bloodiest hostage crisis. It was the latest in a string of attacks blamed on Chechen rebels including two plane crashes and a suicide bombing in Moscow.

Ivan Shapovalov, the impresario behind the pop duo Tatu whose lesbian schoolgirl image courted controversy, said he cared little about what Russians might think about his show which he called the "terror concert."

"If people are scared by a woman wearing a black headscarf, that means they are sick themselves," he told Izvestia.

Shapovalov did not confirm the concert had been canceled.

"The venue organizers have not told us about the cancellation. We don't know what's going on. They didn't even let us rehearse," an aide said.

Too Little. Too Late.

Muslim group takes responsibility for 9-11: 'We are so sorry'

This September 11 marks the third unforgettable anniversary of the worst mass murder in American history.

After September 11, many in the Muslim world chose denial and hallucination rather than face up to the sad fact that Muslims perpetrated the 9-11 terrorist acts and that we have an enormous problem with extremism and support for terrorism. Many Muslims, including religious leaders, and “intellectuals” blamed 9-11 on a Jewish conspiracy and went as far as fabricating a tale that 4000 Jews did not show up for work in the World Trade Center on 9-11. Yet others blamed 9-11 on an American right wing conspiracy or the U.S. Government which allegedly wanted an excuse to invade Iraq and “steal” Iraqi oil.As to apologizing, we will no longer wait for our religious leaders and "intellectuals" to do the right thing. Instead, we will start by apologizing for 9-11 . . .

After numerous admissions of guilt by Bin Laden and numerous corroborating admissions by captured top level Al-Qaida operatives, we wonder, does the Muslim leadership have the dignity and courage to apologize for 9-11?

If not 9-11, will we apologize for the murder of school children in Russia?

If not Russia, will we apologize for the train bombings in Madrid, Spain?

If not Spain, will we apologize for suicide bombings in buses, restaurants and other public places?

If not suicide bombings, will we apologize for the barbaric beheadings of human beings?

If not beheadings, will we apologize for the rape and murder of thousands of innocent people in Darfour?

If not Darfour, will we apologize for the blowing up of two Russian planes by Muslim women?

What will we apologize for?

What will it take for Muslims to realize that those who commit mass murder in the name of Islam are not just a few fringe elements?

What will it take for Muslims to realize that we are facing a crisis that is more deadly than the Aids epidemic?

What will it take for Muslims to realize that there is a large evil movement that is turning what was a peaceful religion into a cult?

Will Muslims wake up before it is too late? Or will we continue blaming the Jews and an imaginary Jewish conspiracy? The blaming of all Muslim problems on Jews is a cancer that is destroying Muslim society from within and it must stop.

Muslims must look inward and put a stop to many of our religious leaders who spend most of their sermons teaching hatred, intolerance and violent jihad. We should not be afraid to admit that as Muslims we have a problem with violent extremism. We should not be afraid to admit that so many of our religious leaders belong behind bars and not behind a pulpit.

Only moderate Muslims can challenge and defeat extremist Muslims. We can no longer afford to be silent. If we remain silent to the extremism within our community then we should not expect anyone to listen to us when we complain of stereotyping and discrimination by non-Muslims; we should not be surprised when the world treats all of us as terrorists; we should not be surprised when we are profiled at airports.

Simply put, not only do Muslims need to join the war against terror, we need to take the lead in this war.

As to apologizing, we will no longer wait for our religious leaders and “intellectuals” to do the right thing. Instead, we will start by apologizing for 9-11.

We are so sorry that 3000 people were murdered in our name. We will never forget the sight of people jumping from two of the highest buildings in the world hoping against hope that if they moved their arms fast enough that they may fly and survive a certain death from burning.

We are sorry for blaming 9-11 on a Jewish or right wing conspiracy.

We are so sorry for the murder of more than three hundred school children and adults in Russia.

We are so sorry for the murder of train passengers in Spain.

We are so sorry for all the victims of suicide bombings. We are so sorry for the beheadings, abductions, rapes, violent Jihad and all the atrocities committed by Muslims around the world.

We are so sorry for a religious education that raised killers rather than train people to do good in the world. We are sorry that we did not take the time to teach our children tolerance and respect for other people.

We are so sorry for not rising up against the dictators who have ruled the Muslim world for decades.

We are so sorry for allowing corruption to spread so fast and so deep in the Muslim world that many of our youth lost hope.

We are so sorry for allowing our religious leaders to relegate women to the status of forth class citizens at best and sub-humans at worse.

We are so sorry.

Solidarity

There are less than 53 days until the election, an election that will decide the next President of the United States. The man elected will be the president of all Americans, not just the Democrats or the Republicans.

To show our solidarity as Americans, let's all get together and show each other our support for the candidate of our choice. It's time that we all came together, Democrats and Republicans alike.

If you support the policies and character of President George W. Bush, please drive with your headlights on during the day.

If you support John Kerry, please drive with your headlights off at night.

The Latest Atrocity From The United Nations:

The senior United Nations envoy for Southern Lebanon today called on Israel to cease its violations of Lebanese air space following an escalation of such incidents over the past 36 hours after several weeks of calm.Expressing concern at the large number of violations, the office of Secretary-General Kofi Annan's Personal Representative, Staffan de Mistura, noted that five such incidents were recorded yesterday, and a further eight today. No anti-aircraft fire was reported.

"These breaches of Lebanese airspace disturb a calm that has prevailed over recent weeks," the office said in a statement released in Beirut. "The United Nations renews its call on Israel to cease these violations and reminds all parties that one violation cannot not justify another."

The very same border where Hizbullah terrorists, disguised as UN personnel, using uniforms and vehicles carrying the UNIFIL insignia, kidnapped three Israeli soldiers during their patrol of the Israel side of the border.

The soldiers' vehicles was shot at as well as bombed and evidence from the scene showed that some and perhaps all of the soldiers were wounded. They were held incommunicado by the Hizbullah in an unknown location, in gross violation of international law. Hizbullah denied the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and other parties permission to visit them and to learn at first hand about their state of health and the conditions they were held in.

Still ringing in my ears is the voice of Walid Jumblatt, chairman of the (Druze) Socialist Progressive Party and member of the Lebanese parliament who issued the following statement in praise of the homicide bomber:

"It is an act of belief and it is the correct path, because the fall of one Jew, whether soldier or civilian, is a great accomplishment in times of decline, subservience, and submissiveness, as a way to undermine the plan to 'Jewify' all of Palestine."

Jumblatt's made this statement in January of 2004, only days before the bodies of three IDF soldiers were returned to Israel.
Since the IDF Withdrawal in May of 2000, terrorists from Southern Lebanon have been responsible for:

- 105 anti-aircraft attacks
- 42 anti-tank missile attacks
- 5 Katyusha rocket attacks
- 7 shooting attacks
- 10 explosive device attacks
- 14 infiltration attempts
- 4 kidnappings
- 8 Soldiers killed
- 46 Soldiers wounded
- 4 severely wounded
- 7 moderately wounded
- 7 lightly to moderately wounded
- 25 lightly wounded
- 6 very lightly wounded
- 6 Civilians killed
- 14 Civilians wounded

Still ringing in my ears is the voice of Sheik Muhammad Al-Zein, a Friday preacher at Al-'Omari Mosque in Sidon, Lebanon who, on July 22, 2004 called on arabs to kill more Israelis:

"I call to our brothers, the Intifada youths, whether from Hamas, [Islamic] Jihad, or Al-Aqsa Martyr's Brigades to rise above internal conflict and raise the banner of Jihad and martyrdom for the sake of Allah in order to contend with the Israeli enemy… "We cannot confront this entity in familiar ways of politics and negotiation, calling for peace and other conventional ways. The struggle should be … through resistance and martyrdom, by which we can achieve balance with the Zionist entity…"

Still ringing in my ears is the voice of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Muhammad Sayyed Tantawi who, on August 19, 2004 justified the murder of Israelis in the following statement:

I was very clear: Anyone defending his right, his land, his money, and his religion and gets killed is a martyr. Anyone who blows himself up amongst the enemy that wants to kill him and he can find no means of defending himself except blowing himself up amongst these soldiers who are occupying his land and destroying his home, and so he blows himself up amongst these aggressive soldiers, is a Shahid, Shahid, Shahid."

Of course, in the event that Israel does defend itself, The United Nations can be counted on to condemn Israel for doing so:

9 September 2004 – The top United Nations envoy for the Middle East today condemned the killing of Palestinian civilians and the wounding of many more in Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip over the last two days and called on the Government of Israel to avoid using disproportionate force in crowded areas.

The Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Terje Roed-Larsen, said he was particularly disturbed to hear that two children were among those killed.

Sending his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the envoy called on Israel "to abide by its obligation under international humanitarian law to avoid the use of disproportionate force in densely populated areas and to protect the civilian population."

Sincere condolences? Yeah. Right.

It appears that one of primary goals of The United Nations is to be sure that Israel does not defend itself against any attacks by any arab nation. And so, along with uniforms and vehicles, the UN continues to provide protection to Hizbullah terrorists who operate in South Lebanon, and continues to assist them in their goal to kill Jews and destroy Israel.

I am John Kerry

I was against the first Iraq war. I am against the second Iraq war, but I voted for it. Now I'm against it but I was for it. I support the UN. I'm against terrorism and against the Iraq war. But I voted for the Iraq war. So, I voted against the first war and supported the second war, wait.....

I'm against gay marriage but for gay unions. I support gays but think the San Francisco mayor is wrong. I support gay marriages. No, wait, gay unions.

I'm Catholic. Wait, I'm Jewish. My dad was Jewish. But I was raised Catholic. What am I? I don't want to confuse people.

I am for abortions, but wait, I'm Catholic, and Catholics are pro-life. But I might consider putting pro-life judges in office, but I'm not sure. I do know I voted for a pro-life judge, but I stated that it was a mistake.

I went to Vietnam. But I was against Vietnam. I testified against fellow U.S. Troops in Vietnam, threw my medals away and led others to do the same. But I am a war hero.....but against the war.

I stated I threw my medals away then I threw my ribbons away. I then revealed that I threw my ribbons away but not my medals, then lately I stated that I threw someone else's medals away and never threw anything of mine away.

I believe ribbons and medals aren't the same thing. Medals come with ribbons, so now I believe that ribbons and medals are the same thing besides the fact that ribbons are cloth and medals are metal.

I wrote a book that pictured the U.S. Flag upside-down on its cover. But now I fly and campaign in a plane with a large flag right-side up on it. But sometimes, we fly upside-down for fun.

Yasser Arafat is a hero and a statesman. The Israelis shouldn't kill Palestinian terrorists, but they should stop terrorism. Yasser Arafat is a terrorist supporter. I support Mideast peace.

I am for the common man, unlike Bush. I am against the rich. But my family is worth $300 million dollars has a jet and many SUV's. I am the common man.

I am against sending jobs overseas. My wife is a Heinz heir, which Heinz has most factories offshore. I am against rewarding companies for exporting jobs as long as it is not Heinz.

I own $1 million in Wal-Mart stock. I believe Wal-Mart is evil by driving small business owners out of town. I am a capitalist and I own part of Wal-Mart but I am a good guy for small corporate America.

I own SUV's when I talk to my followers in Detroit, Michigan, Teresa owns SUV's, I don't own any when I talk to tree hugging followers. I have a campaign jet that gets 1/3 mpg, which is great fuel efficiency.

I am against making military service an issue in presidential elections. I defended a draft dodger Clinton and stated that all serve in their own capacity whether they draft dodge or not. Did I mention, I served in Vietnam and am a hero? Are you questioning my patriotism? I served in Vietnam. My opponent didn't. I have three purple hearts! I am a hero. I am qualified to run this country since I served.

I am John Kerry

And.. words...

Terrorism is the systematic use of violence to create a general climate of fear in a population and thereby to bring about a particular political objective.

So? Well then. That means they're terrorists, not activists, not militants, not freedom fighters. They commit murder, not executions.

Why does the media not understand this simple fact? Why do they continue to refer to terrorists as anything other than what they are.

I find it an outrage and I know I am not alone in this. Daniel Pipes speaks out about this once again:

"I know it when I see it" was the famous response by a U.S. Supreme Court justice to the vexed problem of defining pornography. Terrorism may be no less difficult to define, but the wanton killing of schoolchildren, of mourners at a funeral, or workers at their desks in skyscrapers surely fits the know-it-when-I-see-it definition.
Even after 9/11, Spain, and Bali, the media continues to pay homage to the terrorists of Beslan whose brutality will live in our nightmares for generations to come.

Even after the atrocities committed against innocent children, the press still manages to avoid calling the murderers responsible what they are, terrorists:

The press, however, generally shies away from the word terrorist, preferring euphemisms. Take the assault that led to the deaths of some 400 people, many of them children, in Beslan, Russia, on September 3. Journalists have delved deep into their thesauruses, finding at least twenty euphemisms for terrorists:

- Assailants - National Public Radio.
- Attackers – the Economist.
- Bombers – the Guardian.
- Captors – the Associated Press.
- Commandos – Agence France-Presse refers to the terrorists both as "membres du commando" and "commando."
- Criminals - the Times (London).
- Extremists – United Press International.
- Fighters – the Washington Post.
- Group – the Australian.
- Guerrillas: in a New York Post editorial.
- Gunmen – Reuters.
- Hostage-takers - the Los Angeles Times.
- Insurgents – in a New York Times headline.
- Kidnappers – the Observer (London).
- Militants – the Chicago Tribune.
- Perpetrators – the New York Times.
- Radicals – the BBC.
- Rebels – in a Sydney Morning Herald headline.
- Separatists – the Christian Science Monitor. And get this:
- Activists – the Pakistan Times.

Now. Isn't that special. All that effort to change the face of who they are, what they did and why they did it. This is a deliberate attempt to give terrorists credibility for their deeds, to justify the rape of children, the brutal murder and atrocities visited upon the innocent.

Pipes believes that the avoidance of using "terrorism" comes from the Arab/Israeli conflict and I agree with him:

The origins of this unwillingness to name terrorists seems to lie in the Arab-Israeli conflict, prompted by an odd combination of sympathy in the press for the Palestinian Arabs and intimidation by them. The sympathy is well known; the intimidation less so. Reuters' Nidal al-Mughrabi made the latter explicit in advice for fellow reporters in Gaza to avoid trouble on the Web site www.newssafety.com, where one tip reads: "Never use the word terrorist or terrorism in describing Palestinian gunmen and militants; people consider them heroes of the conflict."

Pipes notes that ever popular term "militants" is now the industry-standard euphemism for "terrorists".

Politically-correct news organizations undermine their credibility with such subterfuges. How can one trust what one reads, hears, or sees when the self-evident fact of terrorism is being semi-denied?
Worse, the multiple euphemisms for terrorist obstruct a clear understanding of the violent threats confronting the civilized world. It is bad enough that only one of five articles discussing the Beslan atrocity mentions its Islamist origins; worse is the miasma of words that insulates the public from the evil of terrorism.

Yeah well. I know terrorism when I see it. I know murder when I see it. I know what an atrocity is. And I know what the media is too.

Nice Shooting Rex!

A man who tried to shoot seven puppies was shot himself when one of the dogs put its paw on the revolver's trigger.

Jerry Allen Bradford, 37, was charged with felony animal cruelty, the Escambia County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday. He was being treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound to his wrist.

Bradford said he decided to shoot the 3-month-old shepherd-mix dogs in the head because he couldn't find them a home, according to the sheriff's office.

On Monday, Bradford was holding two puppies -- one in his arms and another in his left hand -- when the dog in his hand wiggled and put its paw on the trigger of the .38-caliber revolver. The gun then discharged, the sheriff's report said.

Deputies found three of the puppies in a shallow grave outside Bradford's home, said sheriff's Sgt. Ted Roy.

The other four appeared to be in good health and were taken by Escambia County Animal Control, which planned to make them available for adoption.

Quit the Bitchin' and

Let The Games Begin:

The U.S. military’s plans to use North Dakota for war games and that's okay. The state could become the largest special-operations training center in the world. The idea is that North Dakota can serve as a place for mock war exercises in preparation for war. However, the Military also plans to call the area “Dakistan” during the games and that's not okay.

The term, an apparent reference to the stans of central Asia, is described as insensitive and offensive not just to “new citizens” but also to the Native Americans from whose language the word Dakota derives from.

Editorialists say perversion of the Sioux word "Dacotah" by the military is insulting to American Indians and to newcomers displaced from war-torn lands.

Veterans' Day by Russ Vaughn

How liberals do defy the mind
For nothing in theirs' can we find,
That willingly will look with reason
At how their man committed treason,
Skulked off to Paris this effete
To grovel at the Madame's feet,
Betraying his sworn officer’s oath
To become the turncoat we so loathe.

Our law is clear you shall not treat
With America's foes nor their cadres meet;
Give aid nor comfort to enemy forces
Nor espouse a view from hostile sources.
Without a mandate from the state
Wherefrom your right to negotiate?
Was treason, John, and is treason still
To this very day your unpaid bill.

Don’t try to hide behind your youth.
You knew the law you knew the truth.
You knew your faux negotiation
Would further tear our war-torn nation
And all for what, John, your career
So you can shameless brazen here,
And claim now that you’re fit to lead
The very nation you made bleed?

And yet before us there you stand
With medals blazing you demand
Such treachery we must ignore
Your treason that lost us our war.
But hold on, John, we veterans say,
You had your turn, now comes our day.
You thought we slept, forgot your crime?
Oh no, John boy, it’s come our time.

Some say let you apologize
But that won’t do it in our eyes.
A man astride of each position
Could we believe your true contrition?
The vindication we’ll accept
In settling up this long-held debt,
Is each of us will do his best
To deny you, John, your lifelong quest.

Listen carefully John to what we say, November 2nd is Veterans' Day.

No Virgins For You!

The World’s Top Ten Dumbest Terrorists.

Today we have scoured the highways and the bylines and the headlines and the byways of the Internet to bring you a top ten of the world’s dumbest terrorists.

Drum roll please . . .

10. The terrorists who posted an online job application for suicide bombers. No previous experience necessary. Link.

9. Omar Abu Diab: Jihadi declared clinically dead after his car blew up unexpectedly in a work-related accident. Link.

8. The first of three British entries: the British Al Qaeda who promise a “nice holiday” with ice cream and cake to anyone who’ll sign up as a terrorist. Especially, the third interviewee, who is too dumb even to cover his face up. Link.

7. A tie between Smiley face pipe bomber Luke Helder and shoe bomber Richard Reid (second British entry). See Andy Borowitz’ analysis here.

6. Our third British entry dates all the way back to 1605: Unfortunately there was a driving rain and the gunpowder of the cornered men was too wet to fire properly. So they spread the gunpowder on the floor in front of the fire to dry. Guess what happened when a burning ember spat out from the fire and landed on the drying powder?

Needless to say, the survivors of the explosion and the incoming gunfire were captured, and (executed). Link.

5. The terrorist supporter who catches himself on fire trying to burn an American flag. Photos here.

4. The terrorists whose assassination plot was foiled because they posted the details on the Internet. Link.

3. Mohammed Salameh: the terrorist who tried to collect the deposit on the rental van he had used in a terror attack. Link.

2. The Hamas suicide bomber who was mugged by two Palestinian thieves on his way into Israel: all three got blown up and killed. Link.

1. And the world’s dumbest terrorist? Courtesy of the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiller, we introduce you to Ahmed Abdel Razzaq: the terrorist who went to Iraq to fight the Americans and die a martyr and ended up in a U.S. prison camp after the Iraqis he went to defend captured and sold him for $100. No virgins for you! Link.

Dishonorable mention: Khay Rahnajet the legendary Iraqi terrorist who didn't put enough postage on a letter bomb. When it came back marked "return to sender," he opened the package and was blown away. Story has not been verified. Link. If true it certainly merits top-ten placing.

Shamelessly borrowed from point2point.

Fairy Tales from NY Times

The always PC NY Times printed a fairy tale account of the atrocity visited upon innocent schoolchildren in Russia by "Russian rebels." Full of admiration for their carefully planned attack and their cleverness, the Times describes these "spectacular" attacks by "militants":

"Their tactics, complex and flexible and carried out by guerrillas who control no real territory where they could operate freely, have left the police and security forces guessing where the next attack will be..."

If you read the Times, you would never know that these were terrorist followers of the Prophet of Doom, cowards who tortured, raped and then shot fleeing young children in the back--allah akbar.

No. If you're a Times reader, you would think they were "militants" or "rebels" or "guerillas" or perhaps the ever popular "freedom fighters."

Now that the Times is done with that story, we can go back to discussing really important John Kerry issues--like what "W" stands for or whether Terayza really likes Wendy's chili.

In the Aftermath

BESLAN: On the charred planks of the gymnasium of School Number One, amid soot-covered children's sneakers and shell casings, Beslan's aggrieved citizens debated fighting back.

At first, parents, relatives and friends of those who perished in Friday's bloody climax to the three-day siege gathered at the gutted redbrick building to see the destruction with their own eyes.

But the afternoon soon turned into an impromptu town meeting, held in the blackened gym where many of the hostages died.

A few voices in the crowd called for calm, but many insisted that the deaths of so many children be avenged.

"Let's gather up all of the men in the villages and fight," shouted one man.

"If we don't act now, when we calm down we'll end up not doing anything at all," yelled a middle-aged woman, shaking her fist in the air.

Nikolai Betiyev, 52, urged restraint. "Let's bury the bodies first before we think of doing anything. We need to calm down."

"We won't ever forget this," shouted back Taimuraz Metsiyev, a broad-chested, 33-year-old Ossetian who lost several friends and relatives in the siege. "So don't say that in time we'll learn to accept this, and that we have to concentrate on burying our children.

"The people who don't want to fight say 'So many innocent lives will suffer if we take up arms'," Mr Metsiyev continued. "Well, we've already suffered enough. It's time to fight."

Even as the first funeral processions began wending their way through the streets of Beslan, many residents began openly talking of revenge.

They directed their anger at the organisers and abetters of terrorism in the volatile Caucasus region, and said they could no longer rely on local or Russian law-enforcement for protection.

President Vladimir Putin's image as an iron-willed, no-nonsense leader, relying heavily on his KGB past, now counts for little in many people's eyes.

They are furious with what they see as his inability to shield the nation from terrorism and from the fallout of the decade-long conflict in the northern Caucasus. Now, Mr Putin's calls for restraint appear to carry little weight with so many touched by the crisis.

In Beslan, Fatima Ganukova scoffed at the President's surprise visit to the town early on Saturday to meet survivors, saying he should have instead visited the morgue to view the scope of the tragedy.

"Of course, after the funerals our men will try to take matters into our hands," Ms Ganukova said. "And of course, this is the right thing to do."

Meanwhile... back at the meltdown

George W. Bush: "After voting for the war, but against funding it, after saying he would have voted for the war even knowing everything we know today, my opponent woke up this morning with new campaign advisers and yet another new position."

Guess Kerry decided not to listen to Clinton after all.

It's like watching a car wreck, repulsive and horrifying, yet fascinating nonetheless.

Upcoming Fatwah Alert

Gotta wonder how long it will take for this guy to get a islam death sentence.

He used to be deputy prime minister of Malaysia, and way back when, Anwar Ibrahim was often called the modern face of Islam.

Originally arrested as security threat and later charged with sodomy, Anwar was recently, and unexpectedly, released from prison after 6 years. Upon his release, Anwar had some harsh criticism for modern Muslim leaders, as well as a plea for more understanding on the part of his many friends in the West.

Anwar spent much of his time in prison, contemplating the division between the Islamic and Judeo-Christian worlds, a rift that deepened markedly during his isolation, and he is convinced that both sides must change.

"Muslims were hypocritical for staying silent about Saddam Hussein's brutal rule in Iraq, and in complaining about America's influence in the world but ignoring their own troubles."

"This is the single biggest failure of Muslims at present." You don't have credible leaders, you don't have a real voice of conscience."

Muslims never blame themselves for their problems, he said. "It's the Americans and the Jews and the Christians," he said. "We are still in a state of denial."
