Terrorist Union

My office is in the same building as the local office for the Terrorist Union. For the last month, I have been finding little notes on my car. The first one was a somewhat incoherent and rambling indictment against my President, George W. Bush. The last one simply called me an asshole.

That's okay, I can take it, I've been called worse, but quite frankly, these people scare me. They scare me almost as much as they scared three year old Sophia Parlock.

This is the United States of America, the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. They won't scare me into taking the Bush/Cheney sign off of my truck.

They are nothing but a union of terrorist wanna be thugs and they are the heart and soul of what is wrong with America today. There is no rationalization or justification for what those animals did to Sophia Parlock.

To terrorize a three year old for the crime of holding up a Bush/Cheney sign is despicable. It is beyond my comprehension that any American can support Saddam Hussien and terrorize a three year old girl and yet, they do just that.

That is their vision for America. It ain't mine.

Now, they are at the polls in my state, and probably yours too, using intimidation tactics, and threatening physical violence to those who oppose their agenda.

Watch for those purple shirts people. They represent domestic terrorism and they symbolize the end of America as we know it.

You know, except that Phil Parlock is notorious for getting his name in the paper doing these same antics...oh yeah, and that's his son standing next to him that ripped the sign...you know beyond that.

Welcome to my internet home WilMac.

Sorry, but I've been out there with signs my friend, and had a quite few people try to snatch 'em out of my hands, bully me, push me around. If I had my picture taken and reported it to the police everytime, well, I would get a lot more publicity than Parlock does.

and... That's why the IUPA apologized...

Statement from the General President Regarding the Events in Huntington, WV

The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades believes in the fundamental right for civil discourse, freedom of speech and activism to support our candidates and issues.

What happened in Huntington, West Virginia yesterday is an affront to everything we, as a union, pride ourselves to represent. We extend our apologies to the Parlock family, especially Sophia, for the distress one of our overzealous members caused them.

I have personally taken steps to address this issue internally, and will take immediate disciplinary action to the full extent allowed under U.S. Department of Labor regulations and the constitution of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades.

It is my hope that this incident reminds all of our members that every last citizen in this country has the right to express his or herself freely. Not one single one of us has the right to tell them otherwise.

General President James A. Williams
The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades

Pretty big of them actually, and more than I expected. So, now that we have cleared that up, please go on back to DU where you belong.
