Weapons of Mass Confusion
Okay. Let me see if I got this straight.
60 Minutes was all set to run a bullsheite story the day before the election about how the "incompetent" President Bush screwed up and let Saddam's weapons of mass destruction slip through our hands.
Surprise, surprise, surprise. The story is a fraud.
Of course, true to form, and with no regard for the truth, The Great Pretender was all over it like white on rice.
But... but... there were no WMDS. Everyone knows that - don't they??
No matter. True or not, such a crock of bullsheite would have left the President swatting at flies for the few days before the election.
Alas! Before 60 Minutes could run the lie, the NY Times, pulled the rug out from under them and ran the story about the make-believe WMDs.
But wait... there's more! Enter... Russia!
Now it turns out the WMDs really did exist and they were moved before the war by the Russians, probably right into neighboring Syria. Jeepers. I said that on October 7.
So. The end result is that the NY Times bullsheite attack on President Bush turns into vindication for the President, as it confirms that there were WMDs, the UN was full of cash and caca, and... yes, the Iraqi War was necessary.
Well. It took a year of bullsheite mumbo jumbo but I guess we finally got that straightened out, didn't we.
So. Whatever will they come up with next?
