Let There Be Rain - Right Rain!
In its own words, The Umbrella Movement calls itself "a grassroots organization dedicated to the proposition that the Right is WRONG. We believe that the extreme right has led our country in a direction endangering our basic American freedoms, liberty, and democracy. We've banded together to educate, energize, and mobilize the public."
Their senior advisor is none other than Ed Asner and he was here in Sunny Isle Beach, Florida to speak at the Umbrella Movement's Inaugural Conference and Membership Meeting on November 21, 2004.
South Florida ProtestWarrior was there. Our Mission: to counteract the Umbrella Movement with a deluge of the truth... Right Rain poured down on the umbrella movement! Yes, we captured the event on video and Operation Right Rain is now available for viewing at the SoFla ProtestWarrior Website. Highlights include Ed Asner calling me a nazi, and one leftist voicing her desire to see the return of Saddam Hussien to power. She later tried to physically attack one of our members.
If only the left would look at themselves, see who they really are and understand the ignorance they project to the world. Are they proud? Do they wonder why 61 million Americans rejected them and their ideas, values and stupidity? You bet they do!
President Bush is in the White House for another four years, I wish they would get used to it!
