The Three Amigos

Meet The Three Amigos, Shaft, Stretch and Dick, cartoon condom characters created by the United Nations to help stop the spread of AIDS. The cartoon series places "The Three Amigos" in a variety of settings, including a spaceship, soccer field and casino, where they talk about safe sex.

The spaceship spot has the Amigos as astronauts on a rumbling launchpad inside a condom-shaped craft as it builds power to liftoff while a female voice, apparently mimicking orgasmic sounds, counts down. The launch suddenly aborts and the voice over at the end tells viewers: "No condom, no blastoff. Stop the spread of AIDS."

The soccer ad says: "You just can't score without a condom."

So. The commercials appear to be effective, especially in the Congo, where UN peacekeepers are raping and abusing young girls by the hundreds.

Even after the onset of an internal UN inquiry, investigators found "freshly used condoms" littering guard posts and command centres around Bunia, where peacekeepers from Pakistan, Morocco, Nepal and Bangladesh are based.

Kofi Annan could not be reached for comment, being much too busy enacting yet another UN Resolution against Israel. Priorities, ya know?

UPDATE: Here's a scary thought: what if moonbats had their own army? And here's a scarier one: they do — it's called the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations.

You might think that an army of bumbling pacifist bureaucrats would be no threat to anyone. True, they have not been much of a menace to genocidal socialist dictators like Saddam and Milosevic, or mad mullahs chasing nukes in Iran, or the sinister Kewpie doll in North Korea who already has nukes, or al Qaeda, or anybody else who makes the world a dangerous place.

But there is one group with reason to fear the U.N. Army: underage girls.

Nice to see the U.N. is sticking within its area of expertise, and not getting over its head by say, doing something useful for the tsunami victims. But there is an ominous line in the WorldNetDaily article, where the U.N. spokesman calls this the "start of the world's largest integrated behavior modification program." Maybe I've read 1984 too many times, but I really don't like the sound of that.
