Handmaidens of Terror?
Handmaidens of Terror?
Michelle Malkin notes, I believe with some error,
The politically correct are handmaidens of terror.
But handmaiden may be a too-mild appellation
For the worms at the core of the threat to our nation,
Who are far more concerned with our socialist purity,
Than commonsense measures for our nation’s security.
They’ll insist we don’t need anti-terrorist powers,
Till terror bombs blow down their own ivory towers.
More than mere handmaids in true servile sense,
They’re concubines of correctness in Jihadist tents,
Plying socialist sweetmeats to death-dealing masters,
Naively abetting more future disasters.
Respect our dark brothers say these houris beguiling,
No need for your paranoid, racist profiling.
Forget swarthy males from the East caused our losses,
We must share their pain, understand their root causes.
These handmaids ignore their own reasoning powers,
Like no grannies flew planes into those twin towers;
Or why we’re not shown after a terror event,
Any mug shots of men of Caucasian descent.
They insist we ignore facts as plain as their faces,
Like Islamo-fascists tend to be certain races.
No, Michelle, dear, I fear that handmaiden’s in error,
Simply too mild a term for these true whores for terror.
Russ Vaughn

Six Years of Terror???
According to General Security Service Director Yuval Diskin, Israel has been attacked by Palestinian Arab terrorists 25,375 times since October 2000.
Think about it: that equates to one terrorist attack every 90 minutes.
The world forgets that the first arab sponsored terrorist attack upon Jews occurred in 1920, long before the establishment of Israel and long before there were any so-called palestinians.
For over eighty years, the Jews have suffered at the hands of these monsters.
Now the United States wants the Israelis to give bullets to their Palestinian Partners in Peace.
Enough!
There can be only one solution, The Elon Peace Initiative.

Regrets... He's got a few...
I suppose there's nothing quite like turning 50...
Another birthday.
the day is now here.
Another year older,
You've nothing to fear.
Age they say,
is all in your head.
and if you aged in dog years,
I guess you'd be dead!
Happy Birthday Chuck!

DRUDGE: Million signatures claimed for Iraq troop pullout petition
Fri Jul 29 2005 10:08:23 ETRadicals within Iraq's Shiite majority community said Friday that they had collected one million signatures demanding the withdrawal of US-led troops.
"We obtained the Iraqi signatures demanding the withdrawal of the occupation troops as asked for by Sayyed Moqtada Sadr," said Sheikh Abdel Zahra al-Suwaidi, an aide of the Shiite radical leader.
Yawn. Sadr? Didn't we kick his ass until he surrendered? Sure we did and it was a mistake. We should have kicked his ass until he was dead.

On the Road to Gush Katif
"We say to the entire world: Today Gaza, tomorrow Jerusalem." - Ahmed Qurei, known as Abu Ala, the prime minister of the Palestinian Authority.
According to the most senior Hamas member in Gaza, Mahmoud al Zahar, the arabs are getting Gaza because their terrorism campaign is successful:
"Two years ago, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon described the Gaza Strip settlement of Netzarim as a vital part of Israel's national security and now he is going to leave." That is because of the "effective armed struggle."
According to the most senior Hamas member in Gaza, Mahmoud al Zahar, its time for step two:
Zahar said the process needs to continue -- until Jews also leave the entire West Bank and all of Israel.
"They are going to leave [Gaza], not because this is a gift from Israel. This is because they failed to confront our people, so don't describe their withdrawal from here...as a gift for the Palestinians," Zahar said in an interview at his home in Gaza. "This is because they are defeated here."
Hamas will never recognize the existence of a Jewish State in the region, said Zahar.
Is anyone listening? Yes. Some of us are.

Time to Pay the Piper
Breaking news from Miami -- Suspended Miami Commissioner Art Teele shot himself in the Miami Herald building late this afternoon.
Early reports indicate that Teele survived the shooting, and was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center. Witnesses said that Teele has one gun shot wound to the head and he had lost a great deal of blood. Employees of the newspaper said they heard one shot and the Herald Building was immediately evacuated.
Rumor has it that he pulled a gun from a bookbag and shot himself in the mouth, with the bullet exiting from the back of his head. Miami rescue workers said that Teele was conscious while being transported to the hospital, and when asked to blink his eyes, he did so.
The former commissioner has faced a myriad of troubles over the past few years, including federal charges for money laundering and mail and wire fraud.
Teele was convicted in March of threatening a Miami-Dade police officer. He is awaiting trial on other fraud charges in state court.
In the most recent charges, Teele is accused of helping a minority company win more than $20 million worth of electrical contracts at Miami International Airport, when the work ended up actually being done by a much larger, non-minority company.
If convicted on the federal charges, Teele could face up to 20 years in prison.
Now, I don't care much for the Miami Herald, but why inflict them with your suicide Art? It's not like they made you do what you did. All they did was put it on the front page, where it belongs. Sooner or later, it was bound catch up with you.
I'm glad you're alive to face the consequences of what you have done over the years, but sorry that we will now have to pay for your psychiatrist, as well as your three hots and cot while you rot in prison.
UPDATE: Arthur Teele is dead.
His epitaph:
"Art Teele is a man of very big appetites, and because of them he is now in very big trouble ... the once-powerful politician is possessed of a seemingly insatiable craving for all things illicit -- adulterous sex, illegal drugs, bribery and extortion." - Francisco Alvarado, Miami New Times

Nothing to see here
Some of you might have heard rumors of this story on the Glenn Beck Show today. The caller talked about guns being found, although there is no mention of that in the actual article.
An anonymous tip about possible terrorist activity led police and federal agents to a Newark apartment, where they found six Egyptian nationals, camcorder videos of New York City and subway maps with extensive markings on them, officials said yesterday.
Uniformed officers responded and found six men, plus the transit maps, two videocameras and $8,000 in cash.
Immigration agents determined that three of the occupants -- Ahmed Mohamed Atta, 30; Ibrahim Mohamed Sameh Mahboub, 24, and Karim Ahmed Abd el Latif Ahmed, 21, -- had entered the country legally but overstayed their visas, said Tom Manifase, deputy special agent in charge of the Newark division of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Two others, Mohamed Ibrahim Gaber, 34 and Mahmoud Ahmed Abd el Latif Ahmed, 19, had sneaked across the borders, authorities said.
Interesting to note that the story has not been picked up by any other news organization and is only being reported in the local paper.
Remember kiddies, there is no reason to suspect terrorism here. Just because the guys are middle eastern, just because they are here illegally, just because they have done video surveillance of NY's transportation system and just because they have mapped out NY's transportation system, these are not justifiable reasons to profile these men as terrorists. To do so would be racial profiling and against the rules.
So, move along now, there's nothing to see here.

Frente Reactionista Exposes The Hizb
Thank goodness for MT Blacklist. Without it, I would have shut down the comments here a long time ago.
Because I still have comments, I found out about the all new Reactionista Blog out of the UK. Because I know about the Reactionista Blog, I now know about Hizb-ut-Tahrir.
Who is that, or who are they, what is it and why do we care?
Well, Hizb-ut-Tahrir calls itself a "global Islamic political organization" and claims to be active "throughout Europe, Central Asia, Africa, the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, Australia and the Americas."
Reality is that the Hizb is just another bunch of arab adherents to Islam (muslims), seeking global dominance and the death or slavery of everyone and anyone who is not a muslim. Terrorist wanna-bes who seek to rule the world according to the barbaric laws of Sharia.
The Hizb uses all of the tactics we have come to expect from the religion of peace, including The Art of Al-taqiyya:
July 25, 2005, Hizb ut-Tahrir Rejects Charges of Anti-Semitism:
"In response to recent media coverage related to the dismissal of Dilpazier Aslam, a former trainee journalist at The Guardian newspaper, Hizb ut-Tahrir, a non-violent Islamic political party, rejects outright allegations that it is anti-Semitic or that it has incited violence.
We deny the allegation that Hizb ut-Tahrir has encouraged the killing of Jews in Britain. History is testament to the fact that many Jews used to live with Muslims under the banner of Islam for almost thirteen centuries. Throughout those periods Jews used to have the same high standard of living as the Muslims did. They enjoyed equal rights, prosperity, happiness, tranquillity and security."
Except... Reactionista takes us back to the website... and what they really believe, what they first posted in March of 1999, and later deleted: The Muslim Ummah will never submit to the Jews.
"... all of us remember the slogan:
'No peace, no recognition and no negotiations with the Jewish state.'
And all of us know that the constitutions and canons of Arab countries consider any meeting or contact with the Israeli enemy a betrayal and a crime."
and...
Indeed the Jews have increased in their arrogance, superiority and corruption in the land: they insist on expelling more and more of the people of Palestine so that they can bring in more of the world's Jews.
and...
They are a poisoned dagger thrust into the heart of the Islamic Ummah and evil cancerous gland which spreads deep within the Islamic countries.
Complete with veiled references of political assasination of arab leaders who collabarate with the enemy (Anwar Sadat) and not so veiled reference to the fact that islam is a rival to both America and Europe, the Hizb website makes it obvious exactly what the Hizb ut-Tahrir is.

Bleh
It's Tuesday. Time for my usual Tuesday post about The Great Pretender and I just can't seem to get motivated.
Too bad, especially since in recent news, The Great Pretender showed an amazing level of hypocrisy in demanding release "in their entirety" of all documents from Supreme Court nominee John Roberts. Indeed, The Great Pretender had the audacity to claim "We cannot do our duty if either Judge Roberts or the Bush administration hides elements of his professional record."
Jeepers John-boy, we have been saying the same to you for months and months and months and months and months and months and months.
Sigh. I could have a field day with it, but I am just not in the mood.
It is, for the most part, easy to keep quiet about the petty little annoyances of my silly little life when I post here, after all, there are so many other, more important things.
Today is not much different from any other day. My email is overflowing with various articles and notes from here and there and everywhere, murder and mayhem before breakfast, along with death and destruction, betrayal, and all of the petty little evils that people inflict upon each other.
Today's major difference appears to be me. Instead of wanting to move mountains and change the world, what I really want to do is just go back to bed and pull the covers over my head. I have my own problems, petty as they are, and today there seems to be plenty of them. If I were to pack up my troubles in my old kit bag, I fear that my old kit bag would burst at the seams.
Today, I am... depressed.
There. I said it.
So? So what. No matter. In a few minutes, I will climb into my gas-guzzling SUV and putter the six miles to work. I will put on my happy face for my co-workers and I will get through the day.
Maybe, if I keep the smile on my face long enough, it will make its way into my heart and all will be well. At least, that's the game plan. Fake it till I make it.

Why do they hate us?
Neil got this from a frenchman...
For no good reason: it's all about anti-americanism, bascially. Bush=Hitler, USA=polluters [doesn't matter that we're also big polluters, we're jealous cause you have the nice cars and the low cost gas whereas here it costs 5.5$ a gallon thanks to taxes and we have cars that provoke laughter from Americans when they travel to Europe: "oh look, it's so tiny! How can they fit in ?"], Hollywood=war machine against our sophisticated culture [60% of French movie-goers prefer to see an American movie rather than a French one, guess why], California wine=rat piss [at least that's the message from winemakers who rely on subsidies cause their rat piss doesn't sell much], MacDonald's=junk food meant to make French women overweight and clogg our arteries [Mac Donald's France is the most profitable Mac Donald's branch in the world, and noone forces us to get there], etc etc...
Of course there's also no reliable information about Iraq in Europe, except of course for a US and Iraqis bodycount: they're always glad to report bad news, especially successfull terror attacks and US death. And there's almost no understanding of the US strategy, and when you make the point all you can get is a blank stare and then the usual "it's about oil, you fool!".
Might as well say it, that's sounds like the same reasons why the liberal left hates America. Read the rest because according to Herve, "Yet there's a tiny minority of US supporters."
Meanwhile... The Ace of Spades sums up the hate:
In the interests of intellectual honesty, I will admit that the left is right-- the action in Iraq, and our support of Israel, does in fact contribute to "why they hate us."
Those who say Iraq and Israel have nothing to do with this are being rhetorically excessive, or a little naive, or just telling what they think is a white lie in the service of a bigger truth.
However-- the reality is that "why they hate us" is, as they say, overdetermined. Meaning: there are so many reasons they hate us that it's glib and stupid to attempt to say they bomb us for this or that reason. They have hundreds of reasons.
If not for Iraq, then for Afghanistan.
If not for Afghanistan, then for Palestine.
If not for Palestine, then for our military presence in the Gulf.
If not for our military presence in the Gulf, then the simple fact that we dominate the world miltiarily, technologically, and culturally, which is an affront to radical Islamicists who believe that Muslims must rule the world, and to follow Allah's teachings righteously, they must fight us to claim world dominion as dictated by the Prophet.
Etc.
And changing our behavior won't change any of this. We risked blood and treasure to save Muslims in Serbia; that won us no fans whatsoever. They're still screaming about the Andalusia and thousand-year-old grievances. Those who believe a charm offensive is going to win the hearts and minds of people still nursing grudges from a frickin' thousand years ago are simply delusional.
They just hate us.
Read the rest. Its right on point.

Beyond the Pale
My heart goes out to Private First Class Tim Hines's wife and family, who had to suffer an atrocity at the hands of the liberal left.
Not even 24-hours after Private First Class Tim Hines's wife and family said goodbye at his funeral, American flags that had adorned their Fairfield yard were piled beneath a car and burned.
The cowardly bastards who are responsible for this have no soul, no conscience, no morals, decency or integrity.
They are the parasites of freedom.
There can be no excuse, no rationalization or justification for what they did and I pray they rot in hell.
The Timothy Hines Fund has been set up in honor of PFC Hines and his family. Donations can be made at any Fifth/Third Bank Branch.

Rice does Israel - Again
Condi Rice is back in Israel. Why?
Well, Condi is in Israel because she is worried that Sharon might not be able to force them there irksome right wing extremist radical Jews to stick to the "peace plan" and give up their homes and land to arab terrorists Israel's partners in peace right quick.
Condi is worried that them there irksome Jews might view the constant exploding arabs and rocket and mortar attacks on Israel as an indication that the cease fire is a farce and the arab terrorists Israel's partners in peace really do want to kill them.
Condi really should explain things better to the average Jew, perhaps if she did, they might not be irksome about arab terrorists Israel's partners in peace. Yes, Condi should speak the average Israeli, and she should start with the family of Dov and Rachel Kol.
Dov Kol, 58, and his wife Rachel, 53, were murdered today by arab terrorists Israel's partners in peace while returning to their home in Jerusalem after an extended-family Sabbath in Ganei Tal.
The Kols are survived by three children: Hila, 24, who has a one-month-old daughter, the Kols' only grandchild; Tamar, 17, and Yehonatan, 15. The family will be conveniently gathered together at the double funeral today.
Go, Condi, talk to them about cease fires and partners in peace.
Don't like that idea Condi? Well then, why don't you go talk peace to the 18-year-old terrorist partner in peace who was picked up Friday night by the IDF, wearing a five-kilogram (11-pound) suicide belt in a field in Kibbutz Nir Am near Sderot in the Negev. He's still alive, only because the device failed.
He was a member of Abu Mazen's Fatah party, which committed itself at Sharm el-Sheikh in February to cease from terrorist attacks.

Same Shit, Different Day
Palestinian sources reported Wednesday evening that 12-year-old Yazan Juhar and his cousin Hamza went to a stream near the West Bank village of Kfar Krayot in order to fly kites, at which point four settlers attacked them, and one stabbed the 12-year-old.
"We were flying kites when all of sudden we saw four settlers from afar getting closer to us. We started to run, but as we did, I saw one settler, a tall man with a large body, stab Yazan in the neck." - Hamza Juhar
Except... Palestinian officials soon admitted that the boy was killed by arabs and not by Jews. Ooops.
No matter, the well oiled arab propaganda machine will continue to chug along. Yazan Juhar will be placed on the list of "innocent palestinians" who were murdered by the evil Jews, along with Mohammed al-Dura, who was killed by the PLO and the three-year old Arab girl in Yesha who was killed by a faulty Kassam rocket.
The same list that includes the palestinians who kill themselves with bomb belts, after all, to the palestinians, killing yourself in order to kill some Jewish school kids is the same as being killed by those Jewish school kids and you get on the list too.
The same list that includes those killed in work accidents (preparing and/or transporting bombs to kill Jews which pre-detonate and kill them), after all, to the palestinians, if you mean to die in order to kill some Jews, and you screw it up, it counts as being killed by Jews and you get on the list too.
The same list that includes those palestinians killed by palestinians for "collaborating with the evil Jews," after all, if you try to keep a palestinian from killing Jews, and the palestinians kill you for it, it counts as being killed by Jews and you get on the list too.
So, what the heck, let's give them a state, it will bring peace, right?
Wrong.

Miami Solidarity Rally
The Miami Rally was 600 strong, with people of all faiths coming together in Solidarity with Gush Katif, from all over South Florida and some from as far away as Orlando and Fort Myers. Attendance was twice our expectations, especially considering that we put this Rally together in a week and day!
The purpose of the Rally was to send a message to the powers that be, in Israel and here in the United States of America, that the expulsion of Jews from their homes and their land in Israel is an abomination and must not happen.
We had a live hook up with Gush Katif, Rachel Saperstein encouraged all to come to Israel and join in the struggle, and recent recorded announcements from Danielle Weiss, Mayor of Kidumim and Chaver Kenneset Arial Eldad. Local speakers included Heather Andron, of AFSI, and Capt Gary Kosak of the International Christian Zionists. Kayla Kowal, age 16, led us in prayer for two 16 years old girls, Nofar Horowitz and Rachel ben Abu who were both murdered by a terrorist last week in Netanyana and for the speedy recovery of Yigal ben Zahava and Sh'altiel ben Sara who were both injured in mortar shell attack in N'vei Dekalim this week.
During the Prayer for Gush Katif led by the M.C. Roni Raab, host of the popular "Shalom South Florida" Radio station, a beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky above us, a strong reminder that G-d has not abandoned us.
Shlomi Boxer's Yachad band, reminded us all that during times of distress, the Jewish response is to sing and dance, and dance we did!
As one, we raised our voices, calling upon the powers that be in Israel, and here in America, to "Let My People Stay."
Please click on the above collage for more photos of the Miami Rally.
The Broward Sun Sentinel pre-Rally article is here. The Miami Herald ignored us. The Miami Sun Post put us on the front page, with the inside story here. The Florida Jewish News covered us here, with lots of excellent photos here, including photos of the rainbow. Arutz Sheva covered us here.
My most heartful thanks to everyone who attended.

Clarity of Vision
The day of reckoning has come. Where will you be?
How much longer will Israel continue to plan military defense operations against its peaceful citizens while ignoring the missile rampage from its true enemies? The clear feeling in Israel is: not much longer. - Shlomo Wollins
On the Road to Gush Katif, July 19, 2004
Hell is a Jewish state devoid of Jewish values that picks up where the anti-Semites, the pogromers, and the exilers left off. Hell is a Jewish prime minister who has become a cannibal of his own people. Hell is when a country has lost its will to exist and begins a process of national suicide. Hell is when Jews with Jewish values have become outcast in their own land. Hell is when the Jewish state becomes worse than the exile. - Gershon Perlman
Where do you stand? I stand with Israel! I stand with Gush Katif!

A Travesty of Justice
On July 18, 1969, a car driven by Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) plunged off a bridge on Chappaquiddick Island near Martha's Vineyard; passenger Mary Jo Kopechne died.

"Do we operate under a system of equal justice under law?
Or is there one system for the average citizen
and another for the high and mighty?"
- Senator Ted Kennedy, 1973 -
What happened that night and why is it a travesty? This site contains extensive coverage of the circumstances.

War on Terror?
This is from Andrew Sullivan... via Americans for Freedom...
These are the animals we are fighting:
1. They attack Red Cross personnel.
2. They murder people working for the UN.
3. They kidnap and kill care workers.
4. They bomb holiday-makers, in nightclubs.
5. They blow up people traveling on trains - civilians.
6. They target people on buses - civilians.
7. They take civilian hostages.
8. They decapitate them.
9. They murder trade unionists.
10. They kidnap diplomats.
11. They kill people for being... barbers.
12. They fly aircraft full of civilians into skyscrapers where people are at work.
13. They take schoolchildren hostage and murder them.
14. They bomb synagogues.
15. They kill people shopping in a market.
16. They kill people queuing at a medical clinic.
17. They murder children in Baghdad.
18. They murder people on their way to work in London.
Nice list, and of course, it fails to mention that these are the animals we are NOT fighting:
1. They attack, kidnap, bomb, and kill innocent civilians, including infants, toddlers, children, teenagers, women, and grandparents in Israel.
These animals kill innocent people in Israel while they sleep, while they eat, while they work, shop, and pray. They kill them in their homes and schools, they kill them in cars and buses, in restaurants and nightclubs. They kill them in synagogues. They use knives, guns, bombs, bomb belts, and rockets.
Not only are we NOT fighting them, but we welcome their leader into the White House, reward them with a state, harbor them within the United States of America, and give them $50 million American taxpayer dollars, which will surely be used to help them kill everyone in Israel. We kick Jews out of their homes and off their lands to make a place for these terrorists to have a terrorist state.
So. Are the people who commit these atrocities considered terrorists, and are these acts considered terrorism, everywhere and anywhere in the world, except in Israel?
It would seem so.

Get Real!
So. The evil interrogators at Guantanamo Bay subjected a suspected terrorist to abusive and degrading treatment, forcing him to wear a bra, dance with another man and behave like a dog. OMG!!
But wait... there's more:
The evil interrogators also told him his mother and sisters were prostitutes, forced him to wear a thong on his head, told him he was homosexual and said that other prisoners knew it.
Wow. Who thinks up these tortures?
After the torture session described above, you can be sure that the terrorist was then given a gourmet meal, served up by the United States Military and paid for by American taxpayers. You can be sure that the terrorist then donned his brand new prayer cap, knelt down on his brand new prayer mat, picked up his brand new koran (also paid for by American taxpayers) and that he then prayed to the Prophet of Doom for the destruction of America and the death of all Americans. You can be sure that he was then tucked safely and soundly into a nice soft bed in a nice air conditioned room, also paid for by American taxpayers, where he dreamed his favorite dream of murder and mayhem, death and destruction.
This torture is an outrage and I want it on record that I am completely and totally against treating the terrorists in Gitmo in such a manner and further, I am ashamed that we would treat terrorists in such a manner.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Corporal Avi Bieber is now in an Israeli Army prison serving the maximum sentence of 56 days because he refused to beat Jews.
IDF Cpl. Avi Bieber became the first to refuse to take part in Sharon's evacuation of the Gaza Strip was motivated by a love of the G-d-given Land of Israel.

As violent scuffles ensued, Cpl. Avi Bieber, felt compelled to cry out against the beating of the protesters, young and old alike. "Soldiers do not beat Jews! A Jew does not expel a Jew!" Bieber cried out and refused orders after seeing his officers beating Jewish residents. He was immediately relieved of his weapon and taken into custody.
"Jews are hitting Jews here," Bieber told the television cameras as he was led to a waiting army jeep and taken into custody. "This is not right. This is not justice."
According to witnesses, although Bieber's refusal was the most public, fellow soldiers in his combat engineer unit shared his sentiments with regard to the task given to them. In fact, twelve of his comrades informed their commander that very evening of the fact that they refuse to take part in any future operations connected with the Disengagement Plan.
Cpl. Avi Bieber was sentenced to 56 days of imprisonment for allegedly insulting his commanders and refusing to fulfill orders. Last week, his 56 day sentence was cut in half due to flaws in the legal procedures preceding his speedy sentencing. Soon after, a second hearing was held and the IDF commander of the Gaza region added 28 days back to his sentence.
Cpl. Avi Bieber has made his stand against the abomination that is happening in Israel as its government gives in and gives over its land to create what can only become a terrorist state. Jews throughout the world are saddened and sickened to watch as Israel puts itself and its people at the mercy of the terrorists who are sworn to destroy Israel and kill all Jews.
The main street in the Gush Katif community of Gadid has been renamed Avi Bieber Road in recognition of the IDF soldier serving jail time for publicly refusing Disengagement orders.

Please visit Friends of Avi to express your support for this brave man.

Soldier's Funeral, Texas Style
Jack Army has a note about a Soldier's funeral (he was serving our country in Iraq):
However, the most incredible thing was what happened following the service on the way to the cemetery. We went to our cars and drove to the cemetery escorted by at least 10 police cars with lights flashing and some other emergency vehicles, with Texas Rangers handling traffic. Everyone on the road who was not in the procession, pulled over, got out of their cars, and stood silently and respectfully, some put their hands over their hearts, some had small flags. Shop keepers came outside with their customers and did the same thing. Construction workers stopped their work, got off their equipment and put their hands over their hearts, too. There was no noise whatsoever except a few birds and the quiet hum of cars going slowly up the road.
When we turned off the highway suddenly there were teenage boys along both sides of the street about every 20 feet or so, all holding large American flags on long flag poles, and again with their hands on their hearts. We thought at first it was the Boy Scouts or 4H club or something, but it continued .... for two and a half miles. Hundreds of young people, standing silently on the side of the road with flags. At one point we passed an elementary school, and all the children were outside, shoulder to shoulder holding flags ... kindergartners, handicapped, teachers, staff, everyone. Some held signs of love and support. Then came teenage girls and younger boys, all holding flags. Then adults. Then families. All standing silently on the side of the road. No one spoke, not even the very young children. The last few turns found people crowded together holding flags or with their hands on their hearts. Some were on horseback.
You can read the rest over here and there are some pictures too. Bring a hankie.
G-d Bless our Troops and G-d Bless Texas.
UPDATE 07/16/05: The soldier's name is James Kiel.

Spc. Kiel was killed in the ambush of 507th Maintenance Company on March 23, 2003. More information can be found here.

Good Dog!
Meet Dorman... and Buddy...

Buddy lives in Iraq and Dorman works there. They had a kodak moment the other day.
Dorman has shared the photos, and he had to this say about it:
About the dog. That day I was pretty much a wreck due to some personal issues. I was dragging my sad-ass back from the DFAC when I passed Buddy. He looked at me and uncharacteristic to most Iraqi dogs, let me pet him. He followed me back to my work site. So, I thought, the hell with work, the hell with depression. I miss my dogs, let's play! So for the next hour I was pretty much just entertaining the dog. He eventually got interested in something else and explored his way off my site. I haven't seen him since.
Thanks Buddy!

One Hundred and Sixty-Three Days!
Its been one hundred and sixty-three days since John Kerry promised to sign his 180 and yes, that's forty-three days longer than Kerry "served" in Vietnam.
MR. RUSSERT: Would you sign Form 180?
SEN. KERRY: Yes, I will.
And yet... During an interview with the Boston Globe, Kerry was asked if he had signed Form SF 180, authorizing the Department of Defense to grant access to all his military records. And Kerry said...
"I have signed it," Kerry said. Then, he added that his staff was "still going through it" and "very, very shortly, you will have a chance to see it."
Well, I'd like to see your signed 180 John, show it to me. Show me that you allowed for full disclosure, John. Show me that you checked the box for an "undeleted report of separation," John, and not the one that deletes that information.
Did you release all of your records John, or did you keep some secret?
Alas and alas... Kerry's 180 is still MIA and all over America a cry has gone out - a cry that has fallen on deaf ears.

Come on John. The Globe says the records you authorized to be released were pretty much the same ones they already had. The Navy said they had over 100 pages they could not release without your authorization.
Inquiring minds want to know, John, what type of discharge did you get, John, and how did that discharge change after Carter pardoned all draft dodgers and traitors to this country?
It's been thirty-nine days since you said you signed it John Kerry, fifty-three days since you said we could see it. We want to see it, John. Where is your 180?? Show it to us.
Got news for you John, releasing your grades won't throw us off the truth trail... although it proves that you're the slacker we said you are. Still, proving you're a slacker ain't enough John, we want to prove you are low-life scum sucking piece of shit liar and we are not going to let this one go.
Sorry John, but you can't lie, cheat or weasel your way out of it. Why? Because, as we all know, John F. Kerry, you are a low-life scum sucking piece of shit liar, and a slacker. So. My vow stands. I will write that low-life scum sucking piece of shit liar every Tuesday for the rest of his lying scum sucking piece of shit life.
I will send the low-life scum sucking piece of shit liar an email reminding him of his promise to America and demanding that he set his 180 free!
Feel free to join in... and... if you are a blogger, join us in spreading the word every Tuesday, the more the merrier!!

Soldiers do not beat Jews!
Corporal Avi Bieber will stand trial again in a disciplinary hearing because of his refusal to beat Jews.

Cpl. Avi Bieber was sentenced to 56 days of imprisonment for allegedly insulting his commanders and refusing to fulfill orders.
However, last week the Chief Army Prosecutor cancelled his conviction due to the possibility that the legal process was procedurally defective. This evening, he will be judged by the Commander of the Gaza Brigade, Brig. General Aviv Cochavi.

UPDATE: Corporal Avi Bieber demanded that Brig. Gen. Aviv Cochavi disqualify himself as the judge in his case. Bieber claims that Cochavi is not objective and has already made his decision when, in a press conference, he called Bieber “insubordinate” and claimed that he insulted his superiors. If Cochavi refuses to disqualify himself, Bieber plans to turn to the High Court to disqualify the entire legal procedure.

It's Time
It’s Time
Black minds spew black hate and destruction,
and innocence pays the price so damning high.
While most politicians hesitate to take action,
as a total whole, so many will have to die.
Those who would live, must know who to trust,
for those who would kill, hide in plain sight.
If we would not want this culture to crash and rust,
we must no longer wait in hopes all will be all right.
There’s no room to err, costing an innocent life in strife,
for those who hunt us now, must come to know fear of us.
We must be their own terror, their nightmare’s raised knife,
and we must haunt them, endlessly hunting them to excess.
All countries that would be truly free, must unite,
hunters all, allies in the war to free all from Jihad.
A single goal to win over their coming evil night,
and teach them to truly fear our long reaching rod!
They set their hate lose on us in hopes of our fear,
so we must show them our total strength, our unity.
Together, the free must hunt evil both far and near,
until their malice is removed, wherever they might be.
Free is not without costs, and that price we must pay,
if we would be free from their sort of evil wrath.
Time comes when decisions will change the world in a day,
and either freedom, or slavery and death our only path.

The Hypocrisy of The War on Terror
"Any government that supports, protects or harbors terrorists is complicit in the murder of the innocent and equally guilty of terrorist crimes." - George W. Bush
Sadly, according to our President, today all of America is guilty of terrorist crimes. Yes, directly because of the actions of our leader, we are indeed all terrorists.
"Our war on terror begins with al-Qaida, but it does not end there. It will not end until every terrorist group of global reach has been found, stopped, and defeated." - George W. Bush
It seems that there is an exemption for certain terrorist groups, and certainly Palestinian terrorist groups. After welcoming terrorist Abu Mazen to the White House earlier this year, President George W. Bush has again authorized the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) to continue its activities here in the United States. President Bush has done this despite the fact that the PLO continues to refuse to conform to US legal requirements with regard to giving up terror. (Guysen.Israël.News)
The PLO is composed of various guerrilla groups and political factions, dominated by Al Fatah, the terror group led by Arafat from 1969 to 2004. Other groups in the PLO include the Syrian-backed As Saiqa and the Marxist-oriented Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
The PLO supports, protects and harbors terrorists, as well as plans, sponsors, and commits terrorist acts. It is complicit in the murder the innocent, and it is certainly directly responsible for the murder of the innocent.
The PLO's first act of terrorism was a failure. On January 01, 1965 PLO terrorists attempted to bomb the National Water Carrier. Other PLO acts of terrorism were successful:
- Jun 17, 1969 - Shirley Louise Anderson, a 25 year -old tourist from Rochester, New York, was killed when PLO shelled the Israeli resort town of Kallia
- Dec 27, 1969 - Leon Holz, 48, a tourist from Brooklyn, New York was killed when PLO terrorists fired shots at a tourist bus near Hebron
- Feb 21, 1970 - Barbara Ertle, of Grandville, Michigan, wife of Reverend Theodore Ertl, was killed during a PLO terrorist shooting attack on a busload of pilgrims in the village of Halhoul, near Hebron
- Mar 05, 1974 - Eight PLO terrorists reached Tel Aviv by sea and took over a hotel killing 3 Israeli soldiers.
- Apr 11, 1974 - PLO terrorists attacked Kiryat Shmona, killing 8 children, 8 adults, and 2 soldiers.
- May 15, 1974 - PLO terrorists invaded a school in Ma'a lot, killing 21 pupils and 3 adults.
- Nov 19, 1974 - PLO terrorists infiltrate into the town of Bet She'an, killing 4 residents and wounding 20 others.
- Nov 20, 1974 - PLO terrorists infiltrated from Syria into the Ramat Magshimim settlement, killing 3 students and wounding 2.
- Nov 21, 1975 - Michael Nadler, an American-Israeli student from Miami Beach, Florida, was killed when axe-wielding terrorists from the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a PLO faction, attacked students at in the Israeli town of Ramat Hamagshimim.
- Dec 08, 1977 - PLO terrorists launched a Katushya rocket at Nahariya, killing one woman.
- Mar 11, 1978 - PLO terrorists seized a bus on the coastal road, killing 35 men, women, and children.
- Mar 11, 1978 - Gail Rubin, niece of U.S Senator Abraham Ribicoff, was shot to death by PLO terrorists on the Tel-Aviv beachfront.
- Mar 17, 1978 - PLO terrorists launched Katushyas on the Western Galilee, killing 2 and wounding 2.
- Jun 02, 1978 - A PLO terrorist bomb blows up in a bus in Jerusalem killing 6 people and wounding 19.
- Dec 21, 1978 - PLO terrorists launched a katushya rocket, which killed 1 and wounded 10 in Kiryat Shmona.
- Apr 07, 1980 - PLO terrorists attacked Kibbutz Misgav Am at the norther border, killing 3 Israelis and wounding 16.
- May 02, 1980 - PLO terrorists attacked worshipers walking home from synagouge in Hebron. Eli Haze'ev, an American-Israeli from Alexandria, Virginia, was one of those killed.
- Jan 08, 1983 - PLO terrorists wound 11 after throwing a hand grenade at a bus.
- Jul 01, 1983 - Aharon Gross, age 19, an American-Israeli from New York, was stabbed to death by PLO terrorists in the Hebron marketplace.
- Dec 06, 1983 - PLO terrorists attacked a bus in Jerusalem, killing 6 Israeli citizens and wounding 50.
- Apr 12, 1984 - PLO terrorists hijacked bus #300, killing one Israeli. Two terrorists are captured alive and later beaten to death by General Security Service agents.
- Nov 25, 1987 - A PLO terrorist infiltrated from Jordan on a hang glider. He entered an Israeli army base, and killed 6 soldiers.
- Mar 07, 1988 - PLO terrorists infiltrated from Egypt, killing 3 nuclear reactor workers riding a bus.
- Jul 02, 2001 - Two separate bombs exploded at about 8:20 Monday morning in cars in the Tel-Aviv suburb of Yehud. Six pedestrians were lightly injured. Police sources say the bombs were probably set by terrorists. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a radical PLO faction, claimed responsibility
- Aug 25, 2001 - Maj. Gil Oz, 30, of Kfar Sava; St.-Sgt. Kobi Nir, 21, of Kfar Sava; and Sgt. Tzahi Grabli, 19 of Holon were killed and seven soldiers wounded when two Palestinian terrorists infiltrated an IDF base in Gush Katif in the Gaza Strip at about 3:00 AM Saturday morning. The attackers, members of the PLO Fatah faction and of the Palestinian terrorist security forces, were killed by IDF soldiers.
"We will make no distinction between the terrorists who committed these acts and those who harbor them." - George W. Bush
According to London's Metropolitan Police Commissioner Ian Blair, the death toll from the recent terrorist acts in London now tops 50 innocent people, but the number of deaths is not expected to reach 100. The PLO terrorist attacks listed above took the lives of over 120 innocent people, at least one third of which were children.
"Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists. From this day forward, any nation that continues to harbor or support terrorism will be regarded by the United States as a hostile regime." - George W. Bush
There can be no doubt that, by welcoming the PLO in our country and allowing them to continue their terrorist activities on American soil, we the People of The United States of America are guilty of harboring terrorists responsible for the murder of hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of innocents. According to our President, we are a "hostile regime."
"When I take action, I'm not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt. It's going to be decisive." - George W. Bush
Indeed, and this year, George W. Bush took decisive action by promising financial support to these terrorists in the amount of $50 million dollars, courtesy of American taxpayers.
We the People of the United States of America are on this very day, supporting terrorists with our tax dollars.
We are on the path to the future — and we are not turning back." - George W. Bush
And what will our future be? It seems the answer to that question is here, for as Israel suffers, so shall the world.

In The Aftermath of London
It’s Time for an Accounting!
© Johnn "Trike" Schroeder
With the echoes of the blasts in London still fading, an old question comes to mind.
"When are the Muslims going to speak up and either defend terrorism, or take back their religion and help us hunt these animals down?"
I know the ‘moderate’ Muslims are afraid of the terrorists, but by keeping silent, they do two things, and both are bad for the Muslim community as a whole.
Number one, by their silence, they look as if they support the acts committed in the name of their ‘peaceful’ religion. This unspoken support, engenders in most Americans, a doubt and a lack of trust in local Muslims, and is beginning to become the image a lot of Americans are beginning to believe is true! With no evidence to the contrary, such an image can become ‘accepted fact’, and it will color all relations with local Muslim groups from here on out.
Number two, if the Muslim community as a whole does not stand up and separate themselves from the terrorists actions in the name of their faith, then they are cowards! Afraid to fight, to take their religion back, from those who have used it to break so many important laws of Islam, then they are NOT Muslims in reality, but only Muslim ‘Lites’! They are less then real Muslims, for they have no courage even to defend their religion. If this is so, then we need not honor that which they do not honor among themselves. We need not be ‘sensitive’, practice ‘diversity’, or have any trust in their ‘religion of peace’. In fact, why do we need to have respect for them, if they themselves have so little for themselves?
Those on the left demand ‘we’ be sensitive, and have faith in our local Muslims, but under the current unrest, how are we know they are really our friends? Could they but be a sleeper cell under cover, as we exist together, waiting only to strike at us one day? Another attack here, and detention camps may be the least of the things they might endure in the midst of our collective doubt and fear. The Muslim community is so self-contained and shut off from the rest of us, that we have good reasons to doubt they are here as real Americans. Perhaps their just here to make money, and have no respect or commitment to America at all. In these uncertain times, a little trust is needed to make for a more solid and honest relationship. If the Muslims in America don’t begin to act as Americans, then they have no rights to demand to be treated as Americans, (and not suspected Muslim sleepers!) We have the right to doubt those who pay lip service to their religion, and seem to have no energy left to support their new country, or publicly decry the vicious acts committed under the name of their religion.
The world is beginning to doubt the Muslims in their midst, and that will only lead to real problems. Either Muslims are peaceful, and will speak out to defend their religion from these animals, finding the courage to stand up to them along side of us, or we will have to begin to assume their actually in support of the fundamentalists. It is damn well time the Muslim-‘Americans’ show us they are actually Americans, and no longer potential factors to doubt. War doesn't allow for possible enemies in our midst unchallenged and unknown.

How can there be any doubt?
It is a terrorist state, it has always been a terrorist state and it will always be a terrorist state.
Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qorei (Abu Ala) said that discussions about a national unity government joined by Hamas, Fatah, and Islamic Jihad will begin this week.
--snip--
According to an article posted on the Hamas Web site, the use of Kassam rockets in the West Bank will become its ''deterrence weapon'' in the next phase of its struggle against Israel.
"The distance between Kalkilya and Tel Aviv is 7 kilometers, the disance between Tulkerem and Netnaya is only 4 kilometers. Ramallah and Bethlehem are also close to Jerusalem. All of Israel will be within our reach" reads the statement.

Thank G-d for Ariel Sharon
Thank G-d for Ariel Sharon
by: Shmuel Sackett
International Director of Manhigut Yehudit
He has woken up the "right wing."
He has invigorated the youth.
He has created a level of excitement in Israel that is unparalleled!
He has brought people from America to Yesha in a show of solidarity and support.
He has increased the population in Gush Katif, Sa-Nur and Homesh more in the last year than in the previous 5 years combined!
His name is Ariel Sharon.
But wait... there's more!
Thanks to Ariel Sharon, the impossible dream has become real. Less than two years ago we were depressed, beaten and pessimistic about our future. Today we have hope. Today we have a vision and today we have a plan.
The new and exciting energy that exists in Israel will be channeled into the creation of a real and proud Jewish State! The frustrated IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) will soon emerge with the G-d given Jewish power it always had, but was afraid to use, and the Jewish People will finally rise to the challenge of spreading G-d's light and wisdom throughout the world!
Why all of a sudden? What did Ariel Sharon do to cause this revolutionary and historic shift?
Simple... he challenged us. He put us up against the wall and made us rethink exactly who we were. Are we proud Jews with an unbreakable bond to the Land or just homeowners who move out when the neighborhood gets bad? Are we connected to the promise G-d gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob or is it all just lip service? Do we truly believe in the Torah -- and all that it says -- or do we bend the rules for convenience sake?
Read the rest here and remember... everything happens for a reason. Am Yisrael Chai!
Isaiah 31:4 For thus saith the LORD unto me: Like as the lion, or the young lion, growling over his prey, though a multitude of shepherds be called forth against him, will not be dismayed at their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them; so will the LORD of hosts come down to fight upon mount Zion, and upon the hill thereof.
Isaiah 31:5 As birds hovering, so will the LORD of hosts protect Jerusalem; He will deliver it as He protecteth it, He will rescue it as He passeth over.

The Fifth Nail
This link will take you to what is supposed to be the blog of Joseph Edward Duncan III, who was arrested in Denny's with the nine year old girl who's mother, mother's boyfriend and uncle were found murdered over a month ago.
I have feelings, in fact I think I must be more sensitive than most people because I seem to feel more than they do, at least more than what they openly express. I feel for the starving children and families in the world, others say, "Oh, that's too bad, but I can't do anything so..."
I keep thinking about how dehumanized I feel, like I am not wanted. I keep thinking about how people are terrified when they find out I am a "sex offender."

This one hell of a self-serving pathetic little bastard who has been in and out of prison for what appears to most of his adult life, how many children have suffered at the hands of this demented excuse for a human being?
As far as letting God take care of the Demons, too late. They've locked up the "Happy Joe" person in the same dungeon that "Happy Joe" kept them in for so many years. Now they are loose and I am very afraid. From now on I may refer to "Happy Joe" as "Jet" (me) and the demons as "The Bogeyman."
To be more specific, I am scared, alone, and confused, and my reaction is to strike out toward the perceived source of my misery, society. My intent is to harm society as much as I can, then die. As for the "Happy Joe" (Jet), well he was just a dream. The bogeyman was alive and happy long before Happy Joe.
I see an insanity defense coming up... oh yes. The blog is full of posts about visits from police officers, and the oppression of being a known sex offender. Its also full of references to his friends who are also known sex offenders, perhaps that's where we will find that little boy.
Labeling sex offenders doesn't hurt the sex offenders anywhere near as much as it hurts their victims.
The "sex offenders" are just acting out what they have learned from us.
Other stellar entries are titled "Jesus was a dork" and "Sociopaths Rock." The son-of-bitch makes one single solitary worthy statement, if only he had the balls...
Yes, I am still alive. I honestly wish not, I just don’t know how to kill myself so it makes sense.
I would be all too happy to offer some suggestions Joe. In fact, if you're afraid to do it, I'd be glad to kill you myself.

Junk Bonds?
Guess what kiddies? The democrats have figured out a way to steal raise money, by selling you nothing for something...

Your 'Democracy Bond' is a commitment to make a monthly donation to the Democratic Party in order to:* Reform the political process by building a political party beholden only to the people, not the special interests
* Build the Democratic Party from the ground up in every precinct so that we can compete everywhere
* Win elections in every state and territory of the United States, at every level of office
'Democracy Bonds' are about building a community of Americans with a stake in our common future -- locally, nationally, and globally. They will bond together a person in Alaska and a person in Missouri in common cause for a political process where parties are accountable to ordinary people and their concerns.
With a 'Democracy Bond' you don't get any money back -- but you do get your country back.
Democracy Bonds are not to be confused with donations, it's an investment for crying out loud! And so, for any of you who are thinking of "investing" in the future...
LindaSoG hereby kicks off the LindaSoG Bonds initiative right here and right now!
Your 'LindaSoG Bond' is a commitment to make a monthly donation to LindaSoG in order to:
* Reform LindaSoG's personal finances by building a big old bank account for her use and her use only.
* Build LindaSoG a great big old house way off the beaten track where no one in their right mind, or even the Supreme Court, would want to put up a Dunkin Donuts.
LindaSoG Bonds are about building a safety net for America, or, well, at least one American, giving you nothing in return but a warm mushy feeling of having made a difference, at least to one American.
With a LindaSoG Bond you don't get any money back -- but she will send you a really really nice thank you note.
heh. Also available for purchase... one bridge in Brooklyn... just think, you could collect a toll...
