The Sounds of War

Ever wonder what war sounds like? Neil brings it home over at Armor Geddon.

"I never thought in a million years that I would be stuck in a minefield AND pinned down by a sniper." - Neil Prakash

Whew. That's a bad place, a very bad place.

We were vulnerable to sniper fire and enemy indirect fire being out here in the open desert with no terrain to hide behind. And that’s when the Air Force showed up. The close air support went balls to the wall like something out of We Were Soldiers.

The USAF flew in and dropped more than a few loads. Neil's description is both chilling and exhilarating, he takes us up close and personal to the sights and sounds of war. Read the rest here.

Neil's unit came through this well, thanks to G-d and the United States Air Force.

And hey, while you're over there, check out Neil's tankers video. It positively kicks ass!
