Louisiana disaster plan, pg 13, para 5 , dated 01/00
'The primary means of hurricane evacuation will be personal vehicles. School and municipal buses, government-owned vehicles and vehicles provided by volunteer agencies may be used to provide transportation for individuals who lack transportation and require assistance in evacuating'...
Reality is that hurricane preparations rests on the shoulders of the legal government of Louisiana, including the Mayor of New Orleans.
Reality is that they should have and could have bused people out of the city, but chose not to. Why?
Reality is that the last hurricane that threatened Louisiana fizzled out and people were "annoyed" that they evacuated for nothing.
Reality is that the government of Louisiana was too worried about what might happen if they appeared to overreact and so they chose to under react.
Reality is that this tragedy has everything to do with politics, but not the President's politics.
Reality is that this tragedy has everything to do with the leftist politics of the government of Louisiana, which chose to do nothing rather than do something.
Reality is that even now, many of the residents of New Orleans refuse to leave, despite the lack of food, water, medicine and even basic means of survival.
Reality is that this tragedy has nothing to do with race and everything to do with stupidity.

I just saw your post on the "Think Progress" on SondraK's. I'm a daily reader and hadn't noticed a post by you before. Is good though. I got to see your blog which I am bookmarking. I like your viewpoint. I am a conservative and I support our help to Israel. You have done a good job listing all the crap that the Demo's should have done. Keep on writing. Keep on exposing their hypocrocies. Their lies and deceptions.
They are a dying 'party' and the beast doesn't give up easy when it is in its death throws. In fact, its pretty damn ugly.

I am a heavy blog reader and quite frankly I have to rip myself away from my puter every nite cause if I didn't--i'd never have some kind of a resposible life schedule. The web is great and the Blogosphere is awesome. Keep on Keeping on!
p.s. I saw this absurd rant last night when I first caught it on another blog. There is going to be some major crapola hittin the fan over the next few immeadiate days/weeks. And its going to take the excellent 'reporting' efforts of the Blogosphere to get the real truth out there.
