Yes, it is possible to post a comment, but that does not mean that you have the right to post a comment. My blog, my rules. Complaining to the management that your misspelled and incoherent attack on the Troops, the President, the GOP, Karl Rove, the United States of America, Israel, Jewish people, me, my hair, my life, or my sex life did not appear is futile. Here's a news flash: I am the management. You have no rights here. But, you do have other options.
Since I won't subject my readers to vile drug induced rants by whiny-ass, hippy commie, pinko, terrorist-supporting enemies of my country, why don't you run along and post that crap over at the Daily Krock of Shit, or DU'h, m'kay? Or, you could get your own website and post it there, I'm pretty sure whineyasshippycommiepinkoterroristsupporter.blogspot.com is available. Or you could cut down on the drugs long enough to spend a few bucks out of your welfare check and register the domain for yourself.
Or you could just smoke some more crack, it makes no difference to me.

This is what unemployed, stoned moonbats do - harass people and try to gain a free forum to "propagate" their twisted and sick ideas.
If allowed they will simply vandalize your blog the same way they vandalize trains, buildings they live in and even their own countries.

It's amazing how some people cannot get this little fact through their skulls.
I get this once-in-a-while and I tell the whiner(s) that while they're free to speak all they want, they're NOT free to use my blog as their medium.
As a general rule, I do allow dissenting comments to stay up unless they violate one (or more) of three golden rules:
(1) No personal attacks.
(2) No spreading vile crap like pedophilia or anything else that I find repugnant.
(3) Personal information about me or anyone else.
In those three cases - and with spammers - I will obliterate the comment(s) as I see fit. Outside of those cases, I let the crap stay up (more or less) since it only exemplifies the stupidity of some commenters.
And as I'm sure you'll agree, there is one additional condition to my 'censoring' of comments: whatever tickles my fancy since as you've said: MY BLOG, MY RULES.
