A Western Manifesto
The "Intergalactic Source Of Truth" has written "A Western Manifesto." It is a twenty point rebuttal from the West to Islam and it's awesome.
My favorites points:
5. Even the brightest of flames in the history of Dar Al-Islam were smothered by the Wahhabis, the literalists, the obscurantists. What Islamic glories do the Wahhabis claim, except the glory of hate and death? How does killing glorify or please Allah? Answer that.
7. Islam fosters hatred of infidels through its support for and condonation of concepts such as "infidel," "najis," "polytheists," "jizyah," "dhimma," and "jihad." So long as Muslims do not reject these concepts totally, they will be met with similar discrimination and contempt from infidels. Is this not just?
17. Riot and kill all you want, if you must. But be careful. The next magnificent act of destruction you accomplish will sweep away the cowards and the weak voices in our countries. Only the warriors will be heard then. That is the price you will pay. Understand! We are not strangers to violence. If you insist, we will show you what our wrath can accomplish with modern weapons. Remember Iwo Jima, El Alemein, and Stalingrad. The kuffar are not afraid of fighting. Do you dare to put your doubts to the test?
It is a most excellent read, but its intended audience will never, ever get it. Hatred, death and destruction are part of the nature of islam and no matter what we do, we can't change their nature. Remember the story of the frog and the scorpion:
One day a scorpion was walking along the riverbank trying to find a way to get across the river when he came across a frog sitting alongside the riverbank. The scorpion walked up to the frog and said "Mr. Frog, I wish to get to the other side of the river. Will you help me?" The frog quickly replied, "No Mr. Scorpion, I will not, for if I let you on my back, you will sting me and I will drown." The scorpion replied, "but Mr. Frog, if I stung you then you would drown and if you drown then I would drown also."
The frog thought for a minute and then said, "That is true Mr. Scorpion, very well then, I will give you a ride." And so, the scorpion jumps on the frog's back and they start out across the river. Half way across the river, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog first feels the sting and then the venom as it races through his veins. He begins to become paralyzed. With his last breath Mr. Frog cries out, "Why? Why Mr. Scorpion did you sting me for now surely we both shall die." The scorpion replies, "I am sorry Mr. Frog, but I can't help it. Its my nature."

Wow. Violence is the nature of Islam?
Incorrect.
Why don't you try reading up on the religion of Islam in a non-biased way? Terrorists are religious fanatics, not regular Muslims. In other words, practicing Islam does not make you a) more inclined to be a terrorist, or b) a violent person.
Christianity throughout history has certainly had violent extremists of its own. Does that mean everyone with a W.W.J.D. bracelet on is plotting to kill you, or is violent in nature?
Seriously, don't take your view of Islam from right-wing, bold talking, logicless propaganda. People need to start THINKING, not just blindly following whatever the "tough talkers" on Fox News, and the internet chain letters about dead soldiers say.
I'm not saying convert to Islam. I'm not saying Democrats or Republicans are the best leaders. I'm not saying which party to align with, or who to vote for, or whether war in the Middle East is good or bad. All I'm saying is THINK in an educated way, not like an egocentric child, unable to see others' perspectives.
Have you ever actually known anyone from the Middle East? Have you ever met a person who practices Islam? I have. They are not all the monsters they are made out to be.

Hate to tell ya Ryan, but you are wrong.
My feelings about islam are not formed from fox news, in fact, I have never seen fox news. I stopped watching TV long before it came to be. Nor is it based on emails about what dead soldiers, in fact, I have never received an email about a dead soldier saying anything.
My feelings about islam are not based on political party either, as I am very much in disagreement with the President concerning his dealings with islamists, although he is better then the democrats who just want to appease them.
My feelings about islam are formed by all I have seen and read about islam over the past 20 years, and yes, I have know quite a few people from the Middle East, and quite a few muslims as well. I have never met a single solitary practicing muslim who would condemn the violence and murder done or attempted on a daily basis in Israel, never. Not one. Polls taken in those countries show the majority of the muslim people support that violence so what the heck are you basing your statements on?
The few people from the Middle East that I have met who did not support the violence were apostates of islam. And they share my feelings about islam.
In comparing islam to Christianity, you exhibit an amazing level of ignorance. You must be a very happy person.
I don't see Christians, or Jews, or Hindus, or Buddists, or Protestants, or any religion other than islam blowing themselves up, screaming for blood and burning buildings over anything.
You can't show me a video of Christians beheading people while screeching the name of Jesus but I can show you several videos of islamists beheading people while screeching the name of their god.
Show me Christians running wild in the streets screaming for blood. I'd can show you thousands and thousands and thousands of islamists doing just that.
Show me where Jesus said to kill everyone who doesn't believe in him.
Study up on Islamic law Ryan. You might learn something.
