Google Censors America

We've all seen the stories about Google partnering up with China to censor its citizens from information available on the internet.

But it seems that Google's censorship of information is not limited to China. I wonder who they partnered up with to censor me from this:

Yup. That video is not playable in my country. My country happens to be the United States of America. Click the pic to see for yourself.

but that's not all. There's this one too:

WTF???? I'd like to know the reason why these two videos are being censored in the United States. There is no rational or justifiable reason for Google to censor access to anything on the internet from the United States of America.

What monster has been created?

If anyone has any info on this, please let me know.

UPDATE: with thanks to an anonymous source:

Screw you Google. This is Night Explosion:

Again, screw you Google. This is Big Boom:

So there. Neener neener neener.

Hi Linda...from what I can gather, the person who uploads the file can specify where it can be viewed - maybe there's a default for only the country where it's uploaded?
But I wouldn't be surprised at anything Google does - once they went along with China's demands, I think they would do anything.

Oh, one more thing: now you know why I dumped Blogspot. It's owned by Google.

Hey RW, and thanks for stopping in. You might be right, I've never loaded a video at google.

Still, I think its google but maybe I just want it to be.

Vilmar, if I told ya, I'd have to kill ya, and I don't want to do that.

:)

Smart move dumping google. They shut Rodger down and that was an outrage!
