Do you hear what I hear?

In what can only be called a spectacularly impotent and annoying display, moonbats around the world will commence to wailing today to protest the war.

Lead by Australian Kerry "Whiner" Bowden, and sponsored by colorful groups such as Code Pink and the Women in Black, these moonbats will commence to whining and wailing today to protest the war. Kerry will read whine out her wailing poem at dawn today, and post the film on her website.

Near as I can tell, the event is based upon a promise "Granma Kerry" made to her grandchild, to make the world a better place.

"Unfortunately it is no longer just your family that decides your future - some of the so called leaders of the world are deciding your future.

At this time in history - this frightens me greatly. So much so that I now make this promise to you

I will work the rest of my life to make it a better world for you, by your 15th birthday in the year 2015. To do this I must work to make it a better world for all children not just you.

My gift to you to mark your birth on the November 30th 2000 at the Nambour Hospital on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia - is the above promise."

Six years later and all Granma can think of to bring this promise to fruition is to set a bunch of moonbats to wailing?

Yo Granma, whine if you want but when you're done, why don't you get off your ass and do something about pollution, violence, children who can't read, housebound elderly people, litter in the street, the homeless. Why don't you head into the inner city, and help teach some kids to read? Cook for the hungry? Help the homeless? Visit the housebound? Pick up some litter in the street? Run a clothing drive?

All the whining in the world ain't gonna fix a damn thing.
