More Cyber Terrorism from the Religion of Murder, Mayhem, Death and Destruction™

In their never ending quest for global dominance and the destruction of all we hold near and dear, terrorists attacked the blogosphere yesterday.

Yesterday morning a denial of service attack began on Hosting Matters. Most, if not all, of the sites hosted there went down. Hosting Matters is home to some of the biggest and most popular blogs on the internet, sites like Power Line, Glenn Reynolds and Hugh Hewitt. It is also home to this humble little blog, I moved over last month.

The attack originated in Saudi Arabia, and spread internationally. After a few hours, we came back on-line, only to suffer a second attack later in the day.

Rumors abound that Aarons.cc was the target of this DoS attack since Aaron's was hacked by terrorists last month in a deliberate and sustained act of cyber terrorism. At the time of this posting, Aaron's site is still down.

After I posted about the attack on Aaron's site, attempts were made to hack my site, but they couldn't get in. I was at the old host then and my site went down for a few hours while they deflected the attack.

Aaron is a very loud voice on the internet when it comes to the death cult known as islam and his parodies have been circulated throughout the blogosphere. It troubles me that his site is still down, while the rest of the blogs on Hosting Matters are now back up and running.

These attacks are nothing but a continuation of the muslim Cartoon Wars and they serve to highlight what has been obvious to many for years: islam is the world leader in the suppression of free speech, as well as the world leader in the suppression of human rights. islam is the world leader in hypocrisy. islam is the number one cause of suffering in this world. islam is the number one cause of war, death and destruction. islamists contribute nothing to the world population, other than murder, mayhem, death and destruction.

Islamic websites dedicated to spreading hatred, encouraging murder, mayhem, death and destruction via every medium known to man, including the written word and yes, cartoons, number in the millions. Islamic sites that depict Jews, Americans, and Christians as monkeys and pigs, covered in the supposed blood of muslims, are used to recruit murder in the name of islam.

The appearance of one cartoon, depicting the so called spiritual leader of islam wearing a bomb on his head, and muslims subject the rest of the world to riots, destruction of property and murder of innocent people. What a bunch of fucking hypocrites.

Genesis 16.11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her: 'Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son; and thou shalt call his name Ishmael, because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

Genesis 16.12 And he shall be a wild ass of a man: his hand shall be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the face of all his brethren.

Nothing less than the death or enslavement of every single human being on the face of this earth will ever satisfy islamists. We are at war, and it is a war against islam. A war of good against evil. With the Grace of G-d, islam will be defeated and mohammed's followers will join him in hell. I hope its hot enough.

This is mohammed, the prophet of doom. Evil leader of the death cult known as islam. Killer and rapist. Child molester. His followers seek to destroy our world. May he rot in hell, along with all those who follow in his footsteps.

I am an American and I am a Jew; and I will not be silenced.

UPDATE: As Van Helsing notes in the comments, Aaron is back.

We’ll be singing...When we’re winning...

Miracles Happen

Today, Daniel Wultz awakened from his coma.

Daniel, a high school student from Weston, Florida, was sitting with his Israeli-born father, Yekutiel (Tuly), eating a felafel lunch in Tel Aviv during their Passover vacation when the bomb that killed nine people on April 17 exploded. His father escaped with a minor leg injury, but Daniel fell into a coma.

Daniel regained consciousness Tuesday, said Yale Tsubary, spokeswoman for Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital, where Daniel is being treated. He is not yet able to speak, she said, but he can communicate with his eyes. Although the teenager's condition is still listed as critical, Tsubary said he is likely to recover.

Yesterday, I received an email that seemed to indicate that Daniel's condition had worsened, and now, there is this very, very good news! Our prayers have been answered. Thank you, G-d, thank you!

Guard the Borders Blogburst

By Heidi at Euphoric Reality

Facts are a funny thing. They are conveniently forgotten if they don't uphold one's point-of-view, and they're easily overlooked if they are randomly scattered about. But when solid facts are brought together in one place, the pattern is difficult to ignore. The facts I'm about to provide below are just such a case. People may be able to overlook a single fact, but the weight of their significance cannot be denied when they come together in one place. That is the purpose of this week's Blogburst - to look at some hard facts.

I think it's important to study the problems of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas as instructive for the rest of the states. It may be that others can write off the doom of California by saying, "Well, that's just California, a loony state of fruits and nuts - that would never happen here." But while California is tipping head-first into ruin, it is highly indicative of the chain of events the rest of us are blindly bumbling through. Arizona and New Mexico have declared official states of emergency because they are completely unable to handle the burden of the influx of illegals into their communities. Texas is not far behind with mass hospital closings, an overwhelmed and declining school system, and a climbing crime rate. Just because one lives in Idaho or Nebraska or Maine does not mean that it won't happen to you! You're just a few years behind the curve.

The following 10 facts have been pulled from the LA Times. We've posted them all at one time or another at ER or in the Blogburst.

1. L.A. County has 10 million people. 40% of all workers in L.A. County are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card.

2. Of the 10 million people in L.A. County, 5.1 million people speak English. 3.9 million speak only Spanish.

3. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

4. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

5. Over two-thirds of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

6. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

7. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

8. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

9. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

10. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish language only.

We need to look at the experience of California as inevitable for the rest of us - if we don't, we're only burying our heads in the sand and bequeathing that future to our children! After all, if we keep merrily careening down the road to California, we can't be dumbfounded when we actually end up in California, can we?!

Here are a few more facts on a national scale:

1. Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops but 36% are on welfare.

2. Over 70% of the United States annual population growth (and over 90% of California, Florida, and New York) results from immigration.

3. The United States receives more immigrants every year than the rest of the world combined.

4. The cost of immigration to the American taxpayer in 1997 was a NET (after subtracting taxes immigrants pay) $70 BILLION a year [Professor Donald Huddle, Rice University].

5. The lifetime fiscal impact (taxes paid minus services used) for the average adult Mexican immigrant is a NEGATIVE.

6. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

The problems of illegal immigration are not solely "border state" problems. They impact everyone. California and Texas are the two biggest economic engines in the United States - and they are teetering on bankruptcy on a catastrophic scale. If they go bust, guess who picks up the pieces? Indiana, New Hampshire, South Dakota, West Virginia, and all the rest. Illegal immigration is not - I repeat, NOT - a border state problem. It's a burden we're all bearing and a risk we're all sharing.

We are way past the point of half-way measures and temporary fixes. As a nation, we must demand a definitive, decisive, no-nonsense solution. We cannot be placated by smarmy speeches from self-interested politicians, or fooled by spin semantics ("it's a guest worker program - not amnesty"), or lulled into apathy by the drone of our everyday lives.

We cannot leave this crisis to our children. Do something! Get out of your comfort zone and get involved. There are bigger issues at stake than the price of lettuce! The time is critical. And it's NOW.

Foolish is as Foolish Does

In an amazing show of style, grace and class, Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga) stormed out of a press interview because they asked about her assault on a police officer.

On her way out, with the mic still clipped on, she called one of her senior staff members a fool.

Then she came back out and demanded that her comments be kept off the record.

The entire fiasco was captured on film.

YCMTSU! What a fool.

Hundreds honor Marine

Justin Sims loved fishing, hot wings, the Marines and his mullet.

Through their tears on Saturday, his family and friends shared their happy memories of the 22-year-old Covington man, who died April 15 while on duty in Ramadi, Iraq. Hundreds attended his funeral and burial in Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright.

The honor guard drapes the casket with the U.S. flag.

"The whole community, the whole country, pauses today to honor what he has done for us," said Mike McGriff, senior Marine instructor in the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Holmes High School. "How Justin must be beaming in heaven. I can hear his laughter now. Semper fi, my brother."

"Hoo-rah," came the soft reply from several people in the crowd.

The rest of the story is here, and a slideshow here.

Semper Fi Sir, and thank you. May the Good Lord give comfort to you and your family.

Close the Door

Nothing Gringo on the 1st of May?

Nothing Mexican on Cinco de Mayo

I have finally reached the boiling point on illegal immigration. We are a nation of laws, including those that control how visitors can enter this country, how long they can stay and how they can become permanent citizens. I expect those visitors to obey the same laws that citizens are expected to follow; and I expect my government to enforce the law when those visitors choose to ignore it.

This year, “Cinco de Mayo” (”the 5th of May”) falls on a Friday. Normally, I would be in my favorite Mexican restaurant enjoying a “burrito supremo” and a couple of monster margaritas. This year, that ain’t happening.

For the most part, the holiday of Cinco de Mayo is a limited, regional holiday in Mexico, celebrated most vigorously in the state of Puebla where the Mexican militia repulsed a French invasion attempt in 1862. The holiday has actually become a bigger deal in the U.S. where commercial interests have promoted the holiday with products and services focused on Mexican food, beverages and festivities.

This year, Cinco de Mayo will be a celebration of my hope that America will repulse the current invasion of illegal aliens. I will not patronize my favorite Mexican restaurant nor any other Hispanic-owned or “Mexican-themed” business on May 5 or the week thereafter. Neither will I employ the services of any company that I know to employ illegal aliens.

I've got better things to do than celebrate the day the mexicans beat the french.

Pass the apple pie, wouldja?

Ernie Pyle - War Correspondent

On this day in 1945, famed American war correspondent Ernie Pyle was killed by Japanese gunfire on the Pacific island of Ie Shima, off Okinawa. He was forty-four years old.

Ernie's columns, done in foxholes, brought home all the hurt, horror, loneliness and homesickness that every soldier felt. They were the perfect supplement to the soldiers' own letters.

Though he wrote of his own feelings and his own emotions as he watched men wounded, and saw the wounded die, he was merely interpreting the scene for the soldier.

Ernie never made war look glamorous. He hated it and feared it. Blown out of press headquarters at Anzio, almost killed by our own planes at St. Lo, he told of the death, the heartache and the agony about him and always he named names of the kids around him, and got in their home town addresses.

Ernie journeyed to Iwo on a small carrier and wrote about the carrier crew. Then he moved on to Okinawa and went in with the Marines. He had post-war plans. He thought he would take to the white clean roads again and write beside still ponds in the wilderness, on blue mountains, in country lanes, in a world returned to peace and quiet. And these were the dreams of the soldiers in the foxhole as much as they were his own.

"No man in this war has so well told the story of the American fighting man as American fighting men wanted it told. He deserves the gratitude of all his countrymen." President Harry S. Truman

Murder in Israel

A psychotic, evil and demented palestinian blew himself up at the old central bus station in Tel Aviv, Israel, killing eight innocent people and wounding forty-nine in his quest for everlasting deviant sex in paradise as promised by his evil demon god.

Bomber kills 6 in Tel Aviv

The Hamas terrorist rulers of the Palestinian Authority Monday publicly supported the murders as an "act of self defense." Olmert said, "'We will know how to respond, we know what to do." Shimon Peres opened the 17th Knesset assembly with a nearly one hour speech extolling the potential for peace as rescue workers cleaned up the blood and body parts from the scene of the lastest terrorist massacre.

Sami Omar was the murderer from Jenin.

May he rot in hell, along with the rest of the followers of the death cult known as islam.

A Welfare State With Illegal Immigration Offers Businesses a Better Deal Than Slavery
by Darnell MaGavock at Indpendent Conservative

Let me start by saying I don’t endorse either slavery or illegal immigration. But looking at things from the economic standpoint of a company that hires illegals today versus the use of slave labor in the 18th and 19th centuries, illegal immigration offers companies a better deal than any slave owner ever had. The reason is the modern day welfare state that is known as America.

During American slavery, the slave owner was responsible for the total care of the slave. Although slave masters did this “on the cheap” they had to provide housing, food, clothing and medical care for the slave and their entire family. This resulted in the institution of slavery being more of a loss than gain over time. The only other option was to grant freedom to slaves who were a great expense, but that involved the strain of possibly breaking a family. Separating families often resulted in the other slaves trying harder to escape to be with loved ones. Non-profitable slaves were not sellable, because nobody else wanted the burden. This was the slave master’s dilemma, that people like George Washington and Benjamin Franklin figured out. They realized that slavery was not financially good over time - because the “free labor” was not really “free”, given the need to provide full care to the slave labor force. This was in addition to the expense of buying a slave in the first place.

Today’s employer of illegal immigrants does not have any of the hassles experienced by slave owners. The employer of illegals offers them a very small salary and no benefits. Which means such an employer never runs the risk of going cash-flow-negative on labor costs. They can adjust wages at will, because they will always find an illegal that is willing to accept the rate. This is the reason Cesar Chavez once disliked illegal immigration. If one set of illegals tried to “strike” for better wages, the company would simply replace them with new illegals that were willing to accept the pay rate offered to them.

So the employer of illegals has no direct issues with having to fund housing, medical or the expense of educating the children of illegal immigrants. These are expenses that American taxpayers have been funding. Government (funded by taxpayers) helps illegals secure home loans and encourages banks to give them out. Government (funded by taxpayers) is picking up the medical expenses of illegals. Government (funded by taxpayers) is educating the children of illegal aliens.

You may have seen the CNN Special “Immigrant Nation: Divided Nation”. If you did, you saw profiles of illegals that live in my county of Gwinnett Georgia. The show often tried to make granting amnesty to illegals look like a good thing, but like the slave master’s dilemma, even the tax paying illegals do not come close to covering the expenses involved in caring for them.

Excerpts from, Transcript of CNN Special Report - Immigrant Nation: Divided Nation

… HINOJOSA: Ten years ago when I first came to Georgia, I asked people if there was a Latino neighborhood, or barrio. I got a lot of strange looks.

Now I’m here in the heart of just one of the many Latino barrios in Georgia. I can get some of the best tacos outside of Mexico right here 24 hours a day. The home of Martin Luther King, the state that gave us the civil rights movement, is now home to half a million Latinos, a 300 percent increase in a decade.

HINOJOSA: Estimates vary, but somewhere between 7 and 20 million people are living in this country illegally, one of the largest populations of undocumented immigrants in the world. Most of them come across this border. According to the U.S. government, over 1 million were caught last year alone.

This latest wave of immigrants has spread far beyond the southwest and the West Coast. Latino immigrant communities are now fixtures across the nation, especially in the south, in places like Gwinnett County, Georgia.

HINOJOSA: Rosa first came to Georgia two years ago, all alone.

Last year, unable to bear the separation any longer, Rosa paid a smuggler $5,000 to wade her children across the river at night, but they were caught at a checkpoint and immediately deported. Rosa faced a difficult decision.

ROSA (through translator): I told my daughter, you have two options. I either stay in Mexico with you, or I will leave for the States for another year in preparation to bring the two of you. Then my daughter told me to return to the States so I could bring them eventually.

HERCHEK: I’m afraid that America could become a third world country. We’re importing poverty by millions every year.

HINOJOSA (on camera): The numbers say it all. Ten years ago, these schools served very few Spanish-speaking students. In 2003, one out of 10 students listed Spanish as their primary language, $26 million will be spent in Gwinnett County in English language services.

HINOJOSA: Federal law says people are entitled to emergency medical care, whether or not they’re in this country legally. In one year Georgia paid $58 million in emergency Medicaid reimbursement for undocumented immigrants.

The smugglers will be paid almost $6,000 by Rosa if they were successful, would show border agents false papers for the children. They didn’t make it.

Despite their fake papers, Junior and Rosita were detained. The smugglers were arrested. The children were returned to Mexico and reunited with their grandmother. Despite the set back, Rosa vows to try again.

ROSA (through translator): I will keep trying to bring them. The sooner the better. If in 15 days I find someone to bring them here, then we will try again with them.

Unlike slavery, with illegal immigration the burden of expenses is carried by the entire nation. So instead of individual plantation owners having to endure the expenses of supposedly cheap labor, it is a burden carried by taxpaying Americans.

It is my family that endures pain, while waiting behind illegals for medical care. It is my tax dollars that pay for education of illegals, that by school rules have 6 years to learn English and many drop out before ever finishing school. So they take up much space and expense, while not even learning much during the process. While school time is spent on illegals, it diverts resources and teaching time away from children in a legal family. And I’m not even going to get into the issues with gangs. (That would require its own post.)

The issues I see here in Gwinnett County, Georgia will only get worse with anything that encourages illegal immigration or makes them feel they will be rewarded. And the issues will get worse for America. The nation will not be able to sustain the expense of this dilemma for much longer. It is causing the nation to engage in a race to the bottom and then we all lose.

America’s borders need to be secured and the only means made for immigration should be via the current legalization process. What employers of illegals see as a “resource” is really a great expense. Immigration requires regulation to prevent this nation’s collapse.

John Kerry - Easy Rider

John Kerry Roughing it with Butler

Sen. John Kerry said yesterday that he recently took a trip where he slept every night in his truck - accompanied only by his motorcycle, a friend and his butler, "Marvin."

Asked about the trip by radio host Don Imus, Kerry explained: "Marvin and Teddy [and myself] . . . We had the best damned time, I'll tell you."

"It was wonderful," the top Democrat declared. "We slept in the truck."

"We didn't have any pillows. I'll tell ya, man. It was really funny cause I blew into some little gas station around midnight or two in the morning, whenever it was, and some guy would do a double take and look at ya. They just couldn't figure out what I was doing there at that hour of the morning.
"I couldn't figure it out [either]," the born-to-be-wild senator added.

Kerry didn't explain who "Teddy" was - or why, if he wanted to rough it, he brought his manservant, Marvin Nicholson, along for the ride.

"When he wants that peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I'm ready," Marvin explained.

Guard The Borders Blogburst

Due to the immigration rallies going on this week, Guard the Borders wanted to give you, our readers, some in-person coverage. This is a follow up to Monday's Blogburst and includes photos, audio files of on-the-spot interviews, and personal observations from Heidi at ER (Houston), Greg at DeMediacratic Nation (Phoenix), and Jake and MJ at Freedom Folks (Chicago).

by Heidi @ Euphoric Reality

On Monday, I attended the pro-illegal/amnesty rally in downtown Houston. I was pretty sick and really shouldn't have been out, but I wanted to see what was going on with the people, the politicians, the media, the reconquistas, and get a feel for the overall tone of the rally. I was by myself, and honestly pretty nervous. Kit was even more nervous for me, because she fretted that I would start something if I saw our flag being dishonored in any way. Since such actions were pretty common at the previous rallies, she was right to be worried! I would have.

PICT0046.JPG

But lessons have been learned. The backlash from the overt anti-American sentiment displayed at previous rallies resulted in significantly toned down rhetoric here in Houston. The event organizers had really gone out of their way to make sure that protesters were carrying American flags, and they even tried to start scattered chants of "U.S.A!", though with little enthusiastic success. Nevertheless, a conscious effort was expended to mask the anti-Americanism of the previous demonstrations. Privately, I think the efforts are too little, too late - but for the marzipan sensibilities of the hovering press, it was probably enough.

I was alone and a bit nervous about stepping into the crowd, so I stood on the sidelines keeping an eye open for unusual signs or anyone that looked like they knew what they were doing. Once I spotted someone, I stepped into the surging crowd and asked my first question, "Do you speak English?" Most did not, and none of the women I asked could speak English, or so they told me.

The following .mp3 audio files are conversations I had with people in the crowd. I didn't try and engage anyone in a debate, I just wanted them to tell me in their own words why they thought they were there or what they believed. Here's what they think, in their own words:

PICT0047.JPG

There was this one guy whose audio didn't turn out but I wanted to tell you about him since he was quite a character. He caught my eye because was walking around in a black and white prison costume, with his hands handcuffed together. The sign he was holding protested that he was not a criminal. He told me he didn’t want to be “oppressed” anymore. He has been in America for about 15 years, illegal the whole time. His two kids were born here and are American citizens. He said all he wanted was citizenship. I asked him when he filed his paperwork to apply for citizenship. He said he hadn't. I asked him how he could become a citizen without actually filing the paperwork, and why hadn't he if it meant so much to him? He said it was too hard, but with this new law, he'd just "get it". "Get what?" I asked. He said, "Get what I deserve - to be American". I asked him if he'd then file the paperwork and pay the fine to make himself eligible for the amnesty and he just looked at me blankly. I then understood that he thinks the politicians just wave their hands and grant citizenship. And you know what, if the Senate passes their amnesty bill, he's probably more right than me.

While the crowd chanted, "Si, se puede!", I saw a group of high school students. One of them, Moses, agreed to tell me what those words meant to him: Another variation on the theme of "Get It."

PICT0048.JPG

This next guy to the left is Carlos, and he advocates brotherly love and no borders anywhere. Needless to say, his ideas were stunningly stupid. You can tell when I was talking to him that at times I was at a loss as to how to continue the conversation. The long pauses you hear are because I was in speechless awe of someone's raw naiveté (stupidity?), and I was trying very hard to maintain a neutral poker face. See if you can follow his [il]logic. I just gave up at the end... The No Borders Anywhere Guy

My next conversation is with Steve, an American, proud socialist, and Fidel Castro fan. I wonder how people get so misinformed - they must really have to work hard at it. Like this guy, who's obviously worked harder than most: The Marxist..

PICT0051.JPG

I had a conversation with this guy (behind the Zapata sign), Perfecto, about why Mexicans won't expend their energies trying to improve Mexico. He's convinced it's impossible because of how corrupt the Mexican government is. He thinks it's much easier to change America than Mexico. Hmm. BTW, I had a Freudian slip in there when I asked about Vicente Fox being "arrested" - oops - I meant "elected". Zapata Sign - Perfecto.

PICT0045.JPG

I made my way down to the front of the crowd where the Democratic politicians were regaling the crowd with Big Promises. This one guy kept calling the Latinos his "brothers and sisters" in "the struggle". The audio is poor, but I'm including it so you can hear the Sunday-go-to-meetin' preachy tone of his voice. He promises that after amnesty, they'll get the wages they deserve, just like all working Americans - starting at $11/hour.. Now what have we already told you guys about the temporary anesthesia of the benefits of so-called "cheap labor"? It'll be history as soon as the Senate gives amnesty to millions of illegal laborers. Employers will be forced to pay illegals what they refuse to pay Americans right now. It's a lose/lose proposition.

I was on my way out of the rally when I was stopped by an older gentleman who was collecting signatures for a petition to enable Carole Keeton Strayhorn, "One Tough Grandma!" to run for governor of Texas. I had already signed a petition previously, but I asked him for her views on illegal immigration: Carole Keeton Strayhorn.mp3

Let's skip over to Phoenix, Arizona and check in with DeMediacratic Nation to see how the Day of Action played out there. All links are of photos of the rally in Phoenix:

Early on, he reported:

At the moment a walk-around is pretty laid back with people just lounging around and waiting. The air is filled with the sound of fiesta, with speakers blaring music from south of the border. Some school aged people at the capital are preparing to wander and get people to register to vote. It's pretty quiet, but I hear there's a couple people on the way.

City of Phoenix officials just said 130k on the way to the park.

Here they come and the public park quickly filled up.

Blandly Urbane sums up his final post of photos by remarking on the end result: "Overall it was just a mass of people walking. The lessons were learned and the Stars and Stripes were everywhere. You can protest/march all you want, but if the message is one of legalizing the illegal - it just defies logic to me."

Up in Chicago, the ever-interepid Jake and MJ covered the pro-illegal rally, up close and personal. MJ relates what kind of reaction her Tancredo/Sensenbrenner '08 t-shirt elicited from the rally attendees:

I did get a reaction though, judging by Gutierrez's comments, and some from those around me. The thoughtfully intelligent responses from the crowd around me included -- and I quote:

"Traitor!"
"Stinkin' t-shirt! That's a stinkin' t-shirt!"
"Wanna take a pee pee."
"Smell somethin' bad."
"Who's Tancredo?"
"He's that anti-immigrant *expletive*."
"Would like to take a pee pee."
"What's that smell?"

MJ also wrote about how illegal aliens are stealing a voice in our government. Then, as she listened to her elected representatives, or what she and Jake call RPWs (race-pandering whores), she realized that they are giving our country away:

My elected representatives are giving away the rights of the American people, the value and power of democracy, the very voice of the citizens of this country, to those who have broken our laws to come, stay, and work here. They are using these lawbreakers to try and drown out my voice -- the voice of a citizen -- a resident of Durbin's Illinois -- a resident of Gutierrez's 4th congressional district.

This concludes our in-the-mix coverage of the National Day of Action. We go wandering around in huge crowds so you don't have to! In the meantime, make sure you've faxed and/or called your senators. They need to have a huge stack of NO AMNESTY messages waiting for them when they get back to work!

Smackdown in Palm Beach!

Imagine a newly elected government official who refuses to take the Oath of Office because it supports the Federal Government.

In March, Basil Dalack was the only qualifying candidate for an open Tequesta Village Council seat. He ran unopposed, and of course he won. Now, he refuses to take the Oath of Office and has gone so far as to sue the City of Tequesta to have the Oath declared unconstitutional.

His lawsuit against the municipality claims that he does not support the government and therefore, the village charter oath to support the state of Florida and the United States governments conflicts with his constitutional rights of free speech.

Seventy-six-year-old Basil Dalack, a newly elected Tequesta village council member, is suing Tequesta to have the oath of office declared unconstitutional because it supports the federal government, something he says he doesn’t do. He also wants the words "and government" removed so the oath doesn't reflect that the government must be supported.

Unbelievable. An elected official, a member of the Government, who refuses to support the Government.

Interesting, Dalack took the oath without objection in 1999 when he was first elected to the council. He was defeated in his reelection attempt in 2003 and ran uncontested in February for a seat on the council which had been vacated by a death.

The asshole goes on to complain that his right to freedom of speech is being violated by the oath and if he reads it he would have... "the blood of all those Iraqi and American kids on my hands."

U.S. District Judge Donald Middlebrooks gives Dalack the official smackdown, ruling that the Tequesta Village Council has the power to name someone other than Basil Dalack to its fifth seat if he doesn't take the oath at tonight's council meeting.

"You've got to come to your own conclusion about the oath," Middlebrooks said at the emergency hearing in West Palm Beach. In ruling against Dalack's request, he said the village oath refers to government process and not a particular office holder or policy.

"I don't think there's a likelihood of success based on the merits of the case," the judge said.

Finally, a Judge who knows the law, who'dathunk such a thing existed in liberal Palm Beach County.

State law is very specific that if a public officer does not take and file his oath of office he in essence refuses to serve and vacates the office as a matter of law.

In Florida, prior to performing the duties of public office, the public officer must take and file an oath of office which states that “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support, protect and defend the Constitution and government of the United States and the State of Florida”.

No oath, no office.

It would be good to get this guy gone. During a council meeting last March, Dalack proposed a resolution calling for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for alleged war crimes. He also proposed a council resolution for troop withdrawal from Iraq.

I tell ya, it gives me hope for my home state.

H/T Government Zoo

UPDATE: It takes a village to smackdown a moonbat:

TEQUESTA — A packed Village Council meeting erupted into applause Thursday night when Councilor-elect Basil Dalack was not allowed to substitute his own version for the village oath of office, which he is claiming in federal court is unconstitutional.

Councilor Pat Watkins called the resolution "an affront to the memory of Col. Ed Resnik," a deceased decorated U.S. Marine whose seat Dalack would fill. "We have a moral responsibility to our troops," Watkins said. "I hope he can explain how this will benefit the village of Tequesta."

In return, the peace loving Dalack has declared war on the Village:

"It is hard for a peacemaker to make war," Dalack said. "I would have loved to have solved this peacefully."

Dalck's version of war is economical, he vows to make the Village pay for their decision in attorney's fees, all the way to the Supreme Court.

I don't suppose anyone would ever be able to explain to this asshose the hypocrisy behind that last statement. I'm not even going to try. Its not worth the effort.

Aaron Kicks Ass part II

As you read right here over the weekend, Aaron, of Aarons.cc pissed off the terrorists so much that they went through the trouble of hacking his site, or, as Aaron so eloquently puts it... "On Thursday, mother-kicking sister-murdering camel-fellating Saudi hackers started an assault on this website which resulted in its being down from Friday afternoon until this morning."

Yes, Aaron got an internet fatwa.

The good news is that Aaron is back, bigger and better than ever, having fought the fatwa and won and he has a special response prepared for the koranimals who hacked his site:

As Sun Tzu said, "If your opponent is quick to anger, seek to irritate him."

and that's just what Aaron sets out to do, and nobody does it better. Get on over there and check it out and if you can, hit the tip jar when you get there. The bandwidth bill on this one is gonna be big!

Guard the Borders Blogburst

Monday, April 10, has been dubbed by pro-illegal activists as the National Day of Action for Immigrant Justice. After two weeks of both large-scale and ad hoc protests, they are trying to bring it all together before their big Walk Out on May 1st.

There are more protests scheduled around the nation - more than 100 have been registered at www.april10.org. Find out what’s going on in your town or city – you’d be surprised by some of the locales of the organized protests.

While the rest of America goes on with making a living and having a life, these rallies could very easily be fizzling out or, on the other hand, gaining momentum and proliferating. (Personally, I'm wondering just how many days of work and school these people can skip before it starts to hurt.) Either way, Americans want to know what is being said and done by these interlopers at the rallies. We must keep an eye on things, because our faint-of-heart senators won't. They are on an ill-deserved two week vacation, after all.

Several members of the Guard the Borders Blogburst are planning to observe the rallies in their areas and report back with photos, quotes, and/or more. So this edition of the Blogburst will be presented in two parts; today's notice and a follow-up on Tuesday with what we glean from various rallies across the nation. Stay tuned for that.

In the meantime, let's make sure that our senators have a stack of NO AMNESTY faxes and phone messages when they get back from vacation. They still have a lot of debating to do, and we need to be sure that they are absolutely clear on where we, as Americans, stand on the issue.

How to Quell a Demonstation

or, how to deal with communists:

KATMANDU, Nepal - Protesters demanding a return to democracy postponed a rally that had been expected to draw thousands on Saturday, after the king imposed an all-day curfew and ordered violators shot on sight.

There ain't nothing like a little Reuters' spin to go with your morning's coffee. Demanding a return to democracy? Hmmm... does this look like a symbol of democracy?

Call me crazy, but that looks like the symbol of communism, and so does this:

One person was killed and at least two wounded when security forces fired at demonstrators in Pokhara, a resort town 125 miles west of the capital, Katmandu, said Gangadhar Baral, who was among those wounded.

"We were protesting and some of us were throwing stones at the soldiers. Suddenly, the soldiers fired shots at us. One of my friends was killed instantly," Baral said. He spoke from the town's main hospital.

So. President Bush could learn a little something about dealing with communists from this.

Yeah, I said it.

Sweden: Okay, Kill the Jews!

Its a crime in Sweden to express derogatory statements about ethnic, racial, national, religious and sexual minorities or to incite hatred and violence against them. That is, its a crime unless you are talking about the Jews.

Sweden's Chancellor of Justice, Goran Lambertz, has redefined hate crimes in his country and decreed that calling Jews "apes and pigs" and calling for the death of Jewish people in Sweden is legal and not an incitement to hatred.

At the beginning of this year, the Chancellor of Justice*, Goran Lambertz, discontinued his preliminary investigation against the great mosque in Stockholm. Cassette tapes had been sold in the bookshop of the mosque with a violently Anti-Semitic contents. After a couple of broadcasts on the 26 and 27th November last year, the Stockholm mosque was reported to the police.

In his decision to discontinue the preliminary investigation Lambertz wrote that “the lecture at hand contains statements that are strongly degrading to Jews, among other things, they are throughout called brothers of apes and pigs.” Furthermore a curse is expressed over the Jews and “Jihad is called for, to kill the Jews, whereby suicide bombers - celebrated as martyrs - are the most effective weapon”.

The Chancellor raises the question whether the statements “should be judged differently, and be considered allowed, because they are used by one side in a continuing profound conflict, where battle cries and invectives are part of everyday occurrences in the rhetoric that surround the conflict.”

Lambertz thought that the “recently mentioned statements in spite of their contents are not to be considered “incitement against an ethnic group according to Swedish law”. His conclusions were that the preliminary investigation should be discontinued because this case of incitement against Jews could be said to originate from the Middle East conflict.

That is, in spite of the calls for ”killing the Jews”, these statements are not a crime in the legal sense in Sweden, because of the current conflict in the Middle East, according to the Chancellor of Justice. The logical conclusion is clear. If one mentions Palestine in hate speeches and calls for massmurder against Jews, one risks nothing in Sweden.

The 'current conflict in the Middle East' involves Arabs and Jews, not just Jews, so if incitement against Jews is acceptable, why isn't incitement against Arabs also acceptable? No, no, that would be incitment against a racial group. You can call for the death of Jews in Sweden, but not the death of arabs. You can have websites like Radio Islam, but you can't post cartoons of mohammed.

How can such a thing come to pass? Consider that one out of every 22 Swedes are Muslim and Islam is the nation's second largest religion. Of the nearly 9 million people in Sweden, 400,000 are Muslim, leading to a drastic increase in anti-Semitic acts against Sweden's 18,000 Jews. But, Sweden may well come to regret its pro-muslim stance.

The Brussels Journal, reporting on a muslim immigrant crime wave in Sweden:

The number of rape charges in Sweden has quadrupled in just above twenty years. Rape cases involving children under the age of 15 are six times as common today as they were a generation ago. Most other kinds of violent crime have rapidly increased, too. Instability is spreading to most urban and suburban areas. Resident aliens from Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia dominate the group of rape suspects. Lawyer Ann Christine Hjelm found that 85 per cent of the convicted rapists were born on foreign soil or from foreign parents.

The phenomenon is not restricted to Sweden. The number of rapes committed by Muslim immigrants in Western nations is so extremely high that it is difficult to view these rapes as merely random acts of individuals. It resembles warfare. This is happening in most Western European countries, as well as in other non muslim countries such as India. European jails are filling up with Muslims imprisoned for robberies and all kinds of violent crimes, and Muslims bomb European civilians. One can see the mainstream media are struggling to make sense of all of this. That is because they cannot, or do not want to, see the obvious: this is exactly how an invading army would behave: rape, pillage and bombing. If many of the Muslim immigrants see themselves as conquerors in a war, it all makes perfect sense.

Do the Swedes know what's coming? I hope its to their liking. I also hope the good Jewish people of Sweden see which way the wind blows, and get out. The country ain't worth fighting for.

The Time Is Now

By Kit Jarrell at Euphoric Reality

For some Americans, the shock of 9/11 was enough to convince them that nothing is sacred anymore. Nothing is secure, needing no maintenance or defense. For others, 9/11 was an "I told you so" moment more than a wake-up call. But for all of us who thought 9/11 served as the epitome of "They did what?", the last few days have shown us that we can still be shocked; we can still be incensed. We--those of us who are here legally and love our country--can, believe it or not, still be united.

Many people would disagree with that. They think we're on the brink of a civil war, or even a race war, pitting, as some MSM outlets put it, "Latino against Anglo." I'll agree that the situation looks grim. Just look at the last few days. Out-of-control students hoisted a foreign flag over our own (upside-down) Stars and Stripes. A principal ran the Mexican flag up his school's flagpole. A school tried to ban the wearing of any flag, including the American flag. An ROTC cadet who stepped forward to stop the desecration of our beloved flag (and burned the Mexican colors) is now facing felony charges, while Mexican students and protestors burn U.S. flags with manic glee--and under the "protection" of the First Amendment. (I don't believe flag burning should be legal, thus the quotes.)

All these events combine and almost give you a feeling that you're coming up on the crest of a waterfall, right? You're about to pitch over the side, and you're grabbing for anything that will keep you from falling over into a tide of something you never thought you'd see in your own country. Maybe you saw the waterfall a long time ago and you've been trying to tell others. Maybe you were just floating along, enjoying the ride, and suddenly you heard the roar of it; faint, but insistent. Not here yet, but coming. Now, here it is.

I admit it--I am afraid. Afraid that the way of life I once helped protect, the precious, sweet freedoms that all of us enjoy, will be taken from us in the interests of "not offending anyone." I'm afraid that the beautiful countrysides and breathtaking scenery that my country boasts will be lost in a sprawling urban jungle, necessary to support the severe overpopulation that is coming from beyond our borders. I have seen that my family is not safe from the threat of Muslim hatred or the illegal immigrant's ideas of entitlement, and that frightens me.

Aside from the fear, however, is a deep, abiding sense of anger. And it's not just me. I see it in the comments readers leave here, I hear it in the voices of those who are dear to me. There are joking comments about the price of ammo at Cabela's, there are amusing photos of toilet paper stamped with the Mexican flag, but beneath it all, there is anger, and rightfully so. Courage is not being fearless. It is acting in spite of your fear; it is doing what needs to be done, regardless of the personal cost.

We are in the midst of a revolution--one to keep our own land safe and free. We stand as our fathers and grandfathers once stood against the fury of the Japanese. We stand as their fathers did, and their great-grandfathers. We stand against an entire religion that actively seeks our death. We stand against a force that surges from our borders, seeking to overrun, to conquer.

As an American, I stand to say, "You will not conquer me."

Every generation must pay its dues, and as Jefferson said, the tree of liberty must be watered from time to time with the blood of tyrants and patriots."

He never said that the watering will occur on foreign soil. Indeed, the Revolutionary War was fought on lawns, in towns, in our very homes.

He never promised that only the military will be forced to provide the patriot's blood. Everyone who believed in freedom had a part to play, and in our history, civilians have given their lives for the sake of our country.

He only said it was necessary to ensure liberty. Sooner or later, lives must be given in service to freedom.

That time is coming, when all of us will be asked to count the cost, and give what we believe we must, for the sake of our children. If we do our part, it does not exempt our children. Their own time will come to give. But if we do nothing, our children will not even have the sacred honor of knowing what it is to serve a higher purpose, for there will be nothing to live for.

I believe that the situation is critical, yes. But I also choose to believe that Americans can rise up and do what needs to be done. I don't mean the politicians. I don't mean the pro-immigrant, pro-terrorism, leftist forces that seek the destruction of our country and the erosion of our moral fiber. I'm talking about you and me. I'm talking about Americans who understand the incredible gift that was given to us by those who came before. I'm talking about those who, like the Minutemen of our history, decided to do more than talk, more than complain.

We could lay down and give up. We could easily look at the state of affairs and say, "Why bother? It'll never work." In doing so, we'd be like just about every other country facing similar problems with out-of-control immigration, riots, and Muslim violence.

But we're not every other country. And I don't give a damn if that's arrogant. I am a citizen of the greatest, most amazing country this world has to offer, and I'm proud of it.

The fight is here, in our neighborhoods and streets. It is not about rights, it's not about racism. It's about theft and laziness. It's about entitlement, and those who despise our country wanting only to suck it dry for themselves. It's about misguided history. It's about a complete ignorance of what makes this country what it has been for over two hundred years.

A student in the protests the other day said that he thought the rest of his family should be able to come over from Mexico and "get some freedom." That statement embodies so much of what is wrong here. Freedom is not a commodity. It is not something you can pick up in the Accessories department at JC Penney. It's not something you just "come over and get." For those of us who have grown up in the shadow of the great men of our history, those of us who understand the meaning of the phrase "live free or die," that student's words were a disgrace; they were perhaps as offensive as seeing the flag as it never should be, under the flag of another nation, used as a target of ridicule and scorn.

I refuse to lie down and let the waterfall carry me. I refuse to be silent as my country is overrun by those who care not a whit about what it truly costs to live here. "American" is not a geographical designation. It is not simply the country of my birth. It is how I grew up, who I am, and who I will choose to be for the rest of my life. I am free, and I don't care who you are--I will never let you disgrace the honor that it is to be a part of this nation.
