Out of Options
10/03/06 UPDATE: Of course, I posted this before Frist opened his dhimmi mouth, and what he said just proves my point. I have to agree with e-Claire, she says it better than I could and, yes, a tomato sandwich sounds good right about now.
“I didn’t leave the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party left me.” -- Ronald Reagan
Coming up into the November elections, I'm watching the democrats pull their usual pre-election crappola, such as false accusations of racism against George Allen, while ignoring the admitted slurs by his democrat opponent. The next few weeks will be more of the same, fake news stories, fear mongering, and attempts to give the false impression that the democrats are really strong on Home Security, and not the party of cut and run. They sicken me.
I could not ever vote for a democrat, but what's left? Where have all the Republicans gone? Here in Florida, I'm stuck with Charlie Crist, who stands for something I am dead set against, amnesty for criminals who have invaded our county. Can I cast a vote for this man next month? Right now, I have to say no.
Immigration? Guest Worker Program? Amnesty? What a crock of shit. I pay an American to cut my grass and he does a damn good job. There ain't no one to pick the lettuce because the lettuce growers refuse to pay a living wage and now, the illegal immigrants that have already snuck into this country won't pick the lettuce either, why? Cause it don't pay enough now and they're taking over the higher paying construction jobs. What makes anyone think they will pick the lettuce after they get amnesty? I guess if we want lettuce, we'll need new illegals to replace the ones we gave amnesty to.
We don't need new immigration laws, we just need to enforce the laws we have. Why do we give financial aid to people who are in this country illegally? Make it a crime, a real crime with real punishment to house the criminals who have invaded our country. Make it a crime, a real crime with real punishment to hire the criminals who have invaded our country. Close our public schools to all those who are not citizens. No driver licenses, no welfare, no food stamps, no medical care. Stop giving them everything, they'll leave.
On a national level, well, there are worse things.
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice personally intervened Friday to prevent Congress from passing a bill that would impose further economic sanctions on the Palestinian Arabs.
Congressional leaders are angered over the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority's continued refusal to recognize Israel's right to exist and renounce the use of terrorist violence.
The PA's defiance over these issues would seem to place it in the category of "terrorist entity" as defined by President George W. Bush following the September 11, 2001 attacks on America.
Rice reportedly argued that the increased sanctions would tie the administration's hands in its efforts to deal with so-called "Palestinian moderates."
and, I'm sorry to say, there are even worse things.
The United States has once more done an about-face and is now willing to work with a Palestinian Authority containing a strong Hamas component – members of the terror group responsible for the murders of hundreds of Israelis, and deeply devoted to the total destruction of the Jewish state.
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice – the consummate diplomat – denied what was blatantly obvious to observers everywhere, saying there had been no shift in her government’s policy.
She proceeded to “explain,” however, that if there was going to be any move forward with the stalled land-for-peace process, then the “Palestinian” government had to have international support.
As much as I would like to, I can't blame Condi Rice for these policies. In the past, I blamed Colin Powell, but over the past few years, there can be no doubt, Condi Rice sounds just like Colin Powell. I have to blame the Bush Administration for this betrayal. This is a terrible thing for my country to do, and I feel shame, shame that I have not felt since the Clinton years.
In the War on Terror, this Administration is choosing to support terrorists. Because these particular terrorists are in Israel, are we not supposed to care? We have betrayed our best ally in the Middle East in order to placate our worst enemies in the Middle East.
But this Administration's support of terrorists does not end with the support of the terrorists in Israel. This Administration has put Home Security secondary to building relationships with terrorist nations.
I live about 20 miles from the Port of Miami. The Deputy Director of The Port of Miami is Khalid Salahuddin, a former member of the Nation of Islam, and a current member of the Islamic Society of North America. ISNA is an organization that serves as "an umbrella group" for hundreds of Islamic organizations in North America, some of which promote the Islamic fundamentalist doctrine of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Salahuddin is featured on a video distributed by ISNA along with Maulana Shafayat Mohamed, the spiritual leader of Darul Aloom, the Islamic center where “dirty bomber” Jose Padilla worshipped and where Imran Mandhai and Mossa Jokhan are said to have plotted attacks on a National Guard armory and South Florida electrical power stations.
This radical Islamist, who openly supports terrorism, is the Deputy Director of the Port of Miami. Care to guess who backs him up?
The Dubai ports deal is out of the newspapers, but Dubai World Ports is in charge of the Port of Miami. That's right, Dubai, a country whose crown prince went hunting with Osama bin Laden six months after he bombed the United States Embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, in August of 1998. Over 220 people were killed and 4000 wounded in these attacks. Al Qaeda uses Dubai for money laundering. At least one Dubai-based company owned by the Iranian government has been used by Tehran's defense ministry to procure a key component needed for the production of nuclear weapons. The notorious AQ Khan smuggled nuclear bomb making plans and equipment out of Pakistan, through the port of Dubai and into Iran and Libya.
Speaking of Pakistan, well, Pakistan is the world's second-largest Muslim country and is considered by this Administration to be our ally. Yet, Pakistan has led the hyperproliferation of nuclear weapons technology; Pakistan is protecting bin Laden in Waziristan, Pakistan is the headquarters of al-Qaeda and the Taliban; Pakistan recently released thousands of al-Qaeda terrorists, Pakistan gives al-Qaeda money and Pakistan has signed an agreement granting al-Qaeda terrorists sanctuary.
With allies like that, who needs enemies?
Let's talk about CSX Railway, a major freight carrier along the entire eastern seaboard of the United States. Did you know that Dubai Ports World bought the CSX railway? Well, they did. CSX serves Alabama, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Terrorists are now privy to each and every security measure that this Country undertakes in our ports and our railways to keep us safe. Terrorists run our major ports and a major freight carrier railway. These are the same people who consider us the Great Satan, the same people who make daily calls for Death to America in their streets, their mosques, their schools and in their government run media.
Call me crazy but, with this kind of Home Security, I just don't feel safe. Its just a matter of time before there is another major terrorist attack here in the United States, and it will be a direct result of these policies.
The blatant disregard for our safety that I see from both sides horrifies me. Our politicians, no matter which side of the fence they are on, do not seem to care. I don't trust the democrats to maintain our security, and it seems obvious that I can't trust the republicans to do so either. I can't vote for one and I can't vote for the other.
It appears that the Republican Party has left me.
And I'm out of options.

You're not alone in that feeling, at least you did have a representative, predilections aside, I've lived in this state off and on for 45 years and never have had a representative, they're all Marxist. The one worlder's think they can set it up by appeasing to the Islamists then take control of the world. Look at Musharraf, an elected dictator, who took power in a military coup in '99, He's used the Bush Administration to the hilt, in return for a rat hunt on his borders, one in which the rat always gets tipped off and is protected by Pakistani's. Condi handed Hezbollah a victory when she and Bush insisted on the UN intervention, all for our "ally" Lebanon, it leaves Israel weaker and the US weaker, Iran won. Yeah I'm disgusted, the RNC (RINO National Committee) hasn't picked a winner in a long time preferring to retain people like Specter, Allen and McCain, without RNC support the Republicans haven't got the support they need to get into office, they worry more about retaining power than their job of protecting the nation. We can't survive as a nation unless we protect our own borders and infrastructure, and what do we get? Pork barrel legislation that fattens the Socialist sector and still leaves the borders wide open. A peek at any of the last minute Senate bills passed this last week show they've all been slathered with pork not associated with the original intent of the bill.

So what does that mean Linda? Does it mean you're not going to vote?
I don't want to vote this year either. It seems like a waste of time. I didn't know about dubai running the port and I didn't know about the railroad either.
I read this stuff and I think what difference does it make who's in office, if the republicans can do something like this.
I've sent a ton of money to the gop over the years and this is what I paid for?

I had just finished my freshman year at Cal State Fullerton in the summer of 1970. I stayed on at my dorm, Othrys Hall, working as a desk clerk, parking lot attendant and other odd jobs, generally enjoying the college atmosphere.
That summer George Allen was the coach of the LA Rams. They held summer practice at CSUF. They lived at Othrys Hall. Allen's son was present that summer. I never heard him use the N word.
I never heard him say anything. He never associated with or spoke to Blacks, Hispanics, or furry freak brothers like myself. He associated only with young, clean cut, athletic types, such as himself. Nobody in or around the dorms or athletic fields of CSUF had any evidence that he was a overt racist. We all just thought he was a jerk.
One interesting insight. I never saw him with his father, not even in the same room. Not even once, all summer long. As far as I know they never exchanged a word.

The GOP is making the same historic stupid mistakes in dealing with the UN and the Arab world. But it will be the GOP and its base that stands with Israel.
World Net Daily reported yesterday about the smuggling and arming of Gaza - lessons learned from Lebanon. And with Lebanon's Army ready to guard their border while Hezbollah lobs its missiles, Israel may need a strong ally.
So, if for no other reason than Israel, this is no time to sit at home on election day and surrender the government to those who would sacrifice Israel in a moment if the polls indicated a political advantage in doing so.
I'm an Evangelical Christian who is as frustrated with the Republican Party as you are, but when I look at the Democrat Leadership - I'm moved - to vote.

The democrats talk about cut and run while the republicans have turned over our ports and at least one major railway to the terrorists. That scares the shit out of me.
I blame Olmert for the failures in Lebanon but it cannot be denied that America helped push Israel out of Lebanon and into this farce of a cease fire, and that America is supporting the hamas government. Israel is in danger because of these policies. But this not just about Israel.
I'm an American. The republican party policies today are not the policies I believe in.
I won't vote for a democrat, but I won't vote for people who have compromised our national security, who promote amnesty for criminals, and appease terrorists.
These policies are the equivalent of national suicide.

Oh for crying out loud reddog. Why would he talk to other people around campus while he was working?
How awful for you that he didn't ignore his job to race around the campus to seek you out and talk to you and be your friend. Especially when he would have had so much in common with a desk clerk and parking lot attendant!
What a jerk!

The People have spoke out a million times. The Minuteman Project proved it could be done. Yet, we still have more rapes and murders from MS-13. Every time Americans have flat-out said "WE WANT SECURE BORDERS" the government does everything possible to thwart our every move. This government needs to be disbanned. Kennedys to Bushies....they all need to go. A new set of leaders are needed to get our country back. This country was founded by farmers and other commoners...it's time to let the people govern themselves again instead of these two-faced, power-abusing, public-ignoring elitists.
