Don't our troops have enough to deal with in Iraq without this?
WASHINGTON - Sen. John Kerry, whose botched joke about U.S. troops in Iraq dealt a blow to his presidential ambitions, will travel to Iraq this weekend to meet with Soldiers, political leaders and military officials.

It's amazing that the 'botched joke' excuse is reported now as a statement of fact.
He said it was a botched joke, so it's a botched joke.
Instead of what it actually was - just the latest in a long and lamentable line of slurs against the military (Jenjis Khan, anybody?).

Just when politics gets so maddening I want to shoot someone, John Kerry gets back in the news and provides a bit of insane comedy. Especially when he takes himself so seriously, and the rest of America is ROFLMA at Kerry's ignorance of reality.
