What does that make US?

"Oh warrior brothers, this is a nation that will never be broken, it is a revolution that will never be defeated. This is a nation that gives an example every day that is imitated across the world. We gave the world the children of the RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenades), we gave the world the children stone (throwers), and we gave the world the male and female martyrdom-seekers (suicide bombers)."

- Ahmed Hales Abu Maher, Secretary of Fatah in Gaza, appearing on Palestinian Authority TV, operated under the direct supervision of Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian Authority and the commander of the Fateh on Nov. 14

Such is the contribution of Israel's Partners in Peace.

I cannot help but wonder at the insanity of Condoleezza Rice as she once again sat down last week with the Commander of the Al Aksa Brigades, nodding in agreement with their plans and offering them assistance in their goals, promising arms, and giving them her seal of approval.

Why? What could possibly rationalize and justify the United States of America's arming of a terrorist group?

You might care enough to ask, but you won't get an answer. When the US State Department was asked if Rice would ask Abbas to instruct his security forces to try and stop the rocket attacks and whether Abbas would disarm Al Aksa Brigades, the answer was "No Comment."

No comment on the fact the Al Aksa Brigades took credit for firing missiles into the Western Negev region of Israel, after a cease fire had been declared by Abbas and by Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

No comment, just an offer to arm Abbas and his Fatah party with 6,000 rifles, despite the concrete evidence that the Fatah continues to carry out terror attacks in coordination with the Hamas.

No comment on why the United States is aiding and supporting a group that is listed by the office of the U.S. Secretary of State as an active terrorist organization.

We will starve terrorists of funding, turn them one against another, drive them from place to place, until there is no refuge or no rest. And we will pursue nations that provide aid or safe haven to terrorism. Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists. From this day forward, any nation that continues to harbor or support terrorism will be regarded by the United States as a hostile regime. --U.S. President George W. Bush

In the War on Terror, we are our own worst enemy.

It's painfully obvious that Condi is working for the UN not the US. We need another Bolton in her position to represent US interests or maybe the secret ambitions of the administration is to abandon our long time ally Israel and embrace Hezbollah. Not a comforting thought.

I would love to see Bolton as Secretary of State. Oh yes!

I think confusion and errors will be at the surface until we(our leaders) get enough fortitude to identify the enemy. Islam is the enemy. Not terrorists, extremists, Taliban, suicide bombers. ISLAM is the enemy! Muslims ARE the enemy!

You are absolutely right Tom, Islam is the enemy, and we will lose if we don't acknowledge that one simple fact.
