Traces of C4 at Port of Miami
Test show traces of C4 at the Port of Miami, yes, this is breaking news on Fox, right now. Related to the non-event yesterday? I'm at work dagnabit and can't monitor the news from here.
Word is that they have restricted the airspace over the Port, including news helicopters.
At the moment, I am about one mile away from the Port, on the 29th floor of a high rise.
Bomb squad is on the scene. Ships are ordered out of the Port, passengers sent below decks.
The box/device was being loaded onto a cruise ship scheduled for four day cruise starting later. The sensor caught it as having C4. They tested it five more times with positive reactions each test.
According to Port of Miami spokeswoman, Andria Muniz-Amador, a cargo pallet has been discovered and may contain a large amount of C-4 explosives.
The pallet was discovered in an area located at Gate H, located right next to Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines “Majesty of the Sea”, which does have passengers on board who are preparing to embark later Monday afternoon.
Terminal H is cordoned off as police investigate.
A bomb squad is also on the scene.
Remember, a pound of C-4 was enough to blow up Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland.
Something has been detonated.
4:11 pm - According to the news, this is now officially another non-event. Can someone tell me how the news knows what was on that pallet and what's really going on at the Port? Perhaps I need a tinfoil hat, because I begin the think this is related to yesterday's event and the three clowns were let go and followed.
Remind me not to take any cruises.
Bottom line: The Super Bowl is here in a couple of weeks (I live a few miles from the stadium) and I can’t get that out of my head.
In my mind, I know the attack is coming and I believe it will be sooner rather than later. The Super Bowl is a prime target for attack and I’m very suspicious of both incidents, I'm suspicious that any terrorist threat in this town will be covered up and played down.
Mail me a tin foil hat if you think I need it.

Linda, I do not believe you are losing your mind.
How many dry runs occurred before 9-11?
Freaky stuff here in Austin TX today too.
Hang onto your hats folks, it may get really interesting!

It's too late for a tinfoil hat for you. As evidenced by your post, the fear-of-islamofacist-conspiracy bug has already been planted in and taken root upon your brain. It is self-contained and self-reinforcing, and only needs scare stories on the TV or radio to activate its programming. It appears to be working well.
On the other hand, a diaper might be appropriate apparel for those who have a tendency to wet themselves whenever Fox has breaking news involving furriners.
Or you one stop worrying about the wrong things.

Somehow, Jeff, I get the feeling that you just might believe that 9/11 was an inside job. The dry run that James Woods saw, well, he was just a paranoid islamophobe, wasn't he?
And the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center was done by Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse.
I'm sure you think all the video of "death to America" chants are the product of some very creative editing. They really love us over there in the Middle East as they have proven over and over again, like with the bombing of the US Cole and in Beirut by killing 243 Marines.
I'm sure you think they wouldn't be mad at us if it weren't for Israel too.
And there was no "subway bomber" either, they just found a sucker and convicted him.
The Bali bombings were done by, um, the three stooges.
I bet you think islam is the religion of peace.
Sorry, but you're wrong, islam is a death cult, and they'd gladly kill you to prove it. If you think I'm islamophobic, you'd be right. When people say they want to kill me, I believe them.
Still, I'm not afraid to live my life as an American, and I'll likely attend the superbowl without a diaper.
thanks for stopping by.
