I'm not Jewish, but I still scored 15 out of 20.

I'm not entirely certain I understand the criteria. One of my grandmothers was Scottish/Irish/English/Cherokee, the other French/English/Scottish. Their husbands were, respectively, Scottish/English/Irish and German/English/French, or something like that. So, does that make me a bloke or a mick or what? At least one of them was Episcopalian, another was Methodist, somebody back there somewhere was Catholic, and the rest were Baptists, or maybe moonshiners, or horse thieves . . . I'm not sure the terms are mutually exclusive.

Now, since my wife is an eighth French, a quarter Spanish, and the rest SE Asian, what does that make MY grandchildren? Hell, one of them has a blonde-haired, blue-eyed Cuban father, and two others have a Dipshit (Orthodox) father.

Explaining the criteria is a tad difficult eros, since even Jews fight about it.

There is the belief that you are what your mother is, and as long as your mother is Jewish, you are Jewish, no matter what your father is.

Some people believe that if any of your parents are Jewish, then you can claim to be Jewish.

I am one of those who believe that if your mother is Jewish and your father is not, you are still Jewish but if your father is, and your mother is not, then you are not.
