Okay, its in German, but I laughed. I'm sick like that.

I drove a forklift once, and we violated most of those rules. We would always stand on a pallet and get lifted up to the upper levels, most of the time with the freight.

Call me sick too, I laughed all the way through the video. I've spent 3 full years operating a forklift, mostly in a very tight quarters type of warehouse. I have seen most of those bonehead maneuvers and violated many of them, because we pulled inventory each month and had to go into the racks, pull everything down, count and verify it then restock the racks. There was only enough room between the racks to get the forks under the load then rotate to take it into or from the racks to the aisles, many loads were in excess of 4000lbs at the 18ft level, where you had to place the load over the cab to prevent tipping, I've had many a scare pulling a heavy load from that height. Forklifts are very dangerous and in unskilled hands they are deadly. There were only three people at this ware house that were allowed in the racks, everyone else got to do the shipping and recieving runs where there was open space. BTW I learned that skill from a 23 year old blonde lady who was the best forklift operator I've ever seen.
