On the Media Elite...
and the politics of war...
Was McCain Really an Early Advocate For "Counterinsurgency?" Actually - Yes!
This essay by Dafydd ab Hugh sums up exactly what is wrong with news coverage of the war in Iraq.
No, its not all about John McCain, its only a little about John McCain, and when you read the part that is about John McCain, you might be as surprised as I was (I still won't support a McCain Presidency, but I was surprised at what I read). Once you get past John McCain, you'll see, its really about the media, and how it treats the war.
No, I won't excerpt it, it needs to be read in its entirety. So, go read it. Read every word.

Fred Thompson will save us from a McCain candidacy. An Aggressive, unapologetic conservative candidate is what we need- not another "maverick" who sticks it to conservatives more than he does the liberal Dhimmicrats.

Great read Linda, thanks.
No on McCain, he has been bedded down with the left far too long. When ever I step out on my front porch and look up at the flags flying there and see the POW/MIA flag it reminds me of John and his attempt to write off all my fellow Americans who are lost and missing in action. This from a former POW is a callous disregard for the former service members and their families who championed for his release as well as that of all the rest. I refuse to support someone who undermines our president, openly disregards the Constitutionality of free speech(McCain-Feingold), all the while talking about his supporting our troops while he is slithering around with the very worst of the anti-war anti-American leftist crowd. Yes Vince, Fred is an excellent choice. an unapologetic conservative with an America first attitude is what we need for president, not another RNC appointed RINO or media darling.
