A Memorial Day Message From John Edwards?
John Edwards has a Memorial Day Message for America:
I have my own Memorial Day Message for those of you who support John Edwards:
You cannot support the troops without supporting the mission, and John Edwards does neither. He is a traitor to this country. Appeasement of terrorism will bring nothing but more terrorism. By their words and deeds, the democrats are lending support to the terrorists who target our troops.
The single greatest danger to the United States of America is not the terrorists, the United States Military will kick their asses into dust! No, the single greatest danger to the United States of America is the traitors who call themselves democrats, those who believe in appeasement and surrender to evil.
If you give your support to these crazy bastards, you too are supporting terrorism and you guarantee that terrorism will come to this land. You endanger not only our soldiers by encouraging those who would target them, but you also put the lives of every single American citizen on the line, including your own life and the lives of your loved ones.The terrorists rejoice every single time a democrat opens his big mouth and advocates surrender.
I support the United States Military and the brave men and women who fight for this country. I remember and I honor the brave men and women who gave their all for freedom.
That's what Memorial Day is all about.
How dare any American citizen usurp Memorial Day to support terrorists and terrorism.
Way to go John. Now shut the fuck up.

A simple translation of that message is "the best course of action for us is surrender."
Here's a suggestion: Poll the troops. Ask a few simple, unloaded questions, such as
Do you believe we should leave Iraq within the next 3 or 4 months?
Is our military presence in Iraq making the situation better or worse for Iraqi citizens?
Would Iraq descend into full-blown civil war and become a haven for Jihadists if we leave any time soon?
Whose position on Iraq do you support: President Bush's or John Edwards's?
Whose position on Islamic terrorism do you support: President Bush's or Senator Obama's?
Which is a greater threat to world stability: the US military presence in Iraq or a Middle Eastern caliphate dominated by Iran and Syria?

Well done Eros, I hope he at least reads it, but I know he will do nothing.
John Edwards is making himself over as "the anti-war candidate" and he believes that is the path to the White House. There can be no doubt that he will get lost along that road because it is only the BDS fringe that embraces surrender, most of America does not.
We have the best military in the world, and we will win this war.
John Edwards will be but a footnote in history.

I don't really like Edwards. Did you folks see the video of him in October of 2001 where he says the Democrats will stand by the President even if the war (at that point only against Afghanistan) escalates to include nations like Syria, Iraq, or Iran. Edwards said that the Dems are committed to the war on terror. A few years later he calls the war on terror a gimmicky slogan and a "bumper sticker" what a hack.

"He is a traitor to this country" Spot on. This is a real problem that we face; While the left will piss and moan "Don't question my patriotism" that's exactly what we need to draw attention to. Don't fear to call these scumbags what they are. Tell them to their face "You obviously hate the United States so much, LEAVE IT! Get the HELL OUT! Move to the Communist/Islamic country of your choice, I'll buy you a damned one way ticket. Send me an email and tell me how great your new "Home" is. I DEMAND my Country back. We will help each other take it back, by any and all means.
