Teach your children well

WTF? Am I the only one who thinks teaching 16 years to handle dynamite is a bad idea?

Can't you see this is just another Rovian plot- this time, it's aimed at baiting Jihadits instead of Democrats. Terrorists to be register for courses online, then ICE and the ATF drop in for a visit. Pure Genius, that Karl Rove.

Apparently, yes. ;-)

Well. I've been wrong before, and I'm sure I'll be wrong again.

Maybe it is a good idea to teach 16 year old boys how to handle dynamite. After all, they are so mature and in control of their emotions. And they do so well at assessing situations and reacting to them appropriately. And goodness knows, they are not easily led astray.

Yeah. Its probably a good thing to teach them to handle dynamite and build bombs. I'm sure none of those "troubled youths" we read about in the paper would sign up for such a course, of course not! Why would they be interested in that?

After all, they can find it on the internet anyways.

Silly me.

Linda, I certainly did. As did generations of boys who worked with dynamite to clear fields and perform other tasks in rural America. Dynamite was routinely stored on ranches and farms, and was readily available at hardware stores.

But these clowns will be voyeurs, rather than hard-working ranch folk. I'm not comfortable with a "University" administering such a course.
