Opus Censored?
It would appear so.
Note to Opus readers: The Opus strips for August 26 and September 2 have been withheld from publication by a large number of client newspapers across the country, including Opus' host paper The Washington Post. The strips may be viewed in a large format on their respective dates at Salon.com.
Why? Well. Take a wild guess what the topic is:

and just think.... Breathed has done over a hundred toons about the suppression of free expression because of Bush and the Patriot Act, and not a single one was suppressed. But... do a toon about islam... and the MSM suppresses it.
Irony is so... ironic.

Oh dear, it's that First Amendment thingy again, where the MSM speaks and we listen. Stalin would be proud of this, so would Mao. But in this country one political party controls the media almost entirely. If it's put out by CAIR then it must be 'safe', but anything else including the biting truth gets censored or skewed. Thank you Linda.

Nice catch, Linda...
Actually...I am a full on Berkeley Breathed fan. He goes after everyone...right, left, middle. I miss Bloom County (I have EVERY ONE of those strips).
Knowing Breathed, he will run with this censorship thing for a LONG time.
