Polish Politics
Women from a new Polish political party have stripped off in a controversial poster campaign ahead of national elections.Seven candidates from the Women's Party are featured posing behind a billboard that reads: "The party of women. Poland is a woman."
The attention-grabbing move is making waves in staunchly Catholic Poland, where the ruling Kaczynski twins have pushed a fiercely conservative agenda.
Writer Manuela Gretkowska said she founded the party as the Polish government considered tightening already strict controls on abortion.
"It is the straw that broke the camel's back," she said, adding that Poland's political scene was usually run by men for men.
"This poster is intended to shatter stereotypes in the anachronistic world of politics, which is more often dominated by uncommunicative men with their black tie outfits," she said.
"We are beautiful, nude, proud. We are true and sincere, body and soul. This is not pornography, there is nothing to see in terms of sex, our faces are intelligent, concerned, proud.
"We do not have our mouths open nor our eyes closed," she said.

There were at least 4,320 minutes between those two posts, not 2, but hey, I can understand if counting is an advanced mathematical concept a bit beyond your understanding.
Still, Lesley, you seem to have a bit of trouble with reading comprehension as well as math, since obviously the person who was "equaling palestinians with garbage" is the person who threw that stuff in the garbage. That person wasn't me. My commentary was limited to the fact that I didn't see a metaphor in the picture, I saw garbage in a garbage can in the picture. Perhaps you should look again, because, like it or not, the picture is a picture of garbage in a garbage can.
If the scene depicted in the picture caused you hurt, well, I am not responsible for the scene in the picture and I don't see how I am responsible for the hurt it caused you. I would suggest you travel from Canada to Chicago and take it up with the person who "discarded" what they considered "useless material" in the bin for "useless material" or... simply put, the person who threw what they considered garbage into the garbage. That would be the person caused your pain. I had nothing to do with it.
Of course, harsh is a long way from cruel, and asking is a long way from begging, so I guess definitions are a bit troublesome for you as well.
Here's what Lesley, I'll start taking your comments seriously when you exhibit an understanding of what you are seeing and what you are reading. I don't post a lot of math here, so I can cut you some slack in that area.

Lake Worth Prefers Pets to Vets

Yeah, you read that right. Palm Beach Lake Worth has cancelled its Annual Veterans Day Parade due to "budget cuts."
"We just don't have the money," Commissioner Jo-Ann Golden said. "It's a bad time to do this, when we have soldiers overseas, but we just don't have the money available."
But you do have the money available Jo-Ann, you'd just rather spend it on a Pet Parade.
"As difficult as it may sound, when you're cutting 40 positions and 22 people, that makes it hard to justify funding a parade," -- Mayor Jeff Clemens
Hard to justify a parade for our Veterans, but not so hard to justify a Boat Parade, or a crafts festival or a street painting festival. You can justify squeezing the cash reserves to fund "Bonfires on the Beach" without any problem, but there's no room in the budget for a parade in honor of the Veterans who fought for your freedom?
Obviously, you have your priorities.
Near as I can tell, this is unprecedented and Palm Beach County Lake Worth now bears the distinction of being the first and only county city in the United States of America to cancel a Veterans Day Parade.

Meet Dr. Butt
UK dentist and yes, another moderate moslem:
A muslim dentist made a woman wear Islamic dress as the price of accepting her as an NHS patient, it is alleged. Omer Butt is said to have told the patient that unless she wore a headscarf she would have to find another practice. the 31-year-old dentist asked to speak to the woman in private after she turned up for an appointment at his clinic in Bury.
According to the charges, he questioned her on whether she was a Muslim and told her that if he was to treat her she would have to wear Islamic dress.
He is also said to have read out a number of religious rules to her.
He then told his nurse to give the patient her own headscarf to wear, the accusation says.
No word on whether the patient complied with the good doctor's demands. I guess it would depend on how long she had to wait for that appointment under Britain’s NHS and how bad the toothache really was. After all, beggars can't be choosers.
BTW... besides being an islamofascist, Dr. Butt also has the distinction of being the older brother of former Islamic extremist Hassan Butt, who once declared he had 'no problem' with terror attacks on Britain and who said that September 11 "served the pleasure of Allah."

Buying Salvation
So many of you have written me privately, to send me links to the story, quotes, and pictures of Madonna in the Holy Land, claiming to be an Ambassador for Judaism. It was my intention to just let this one slip by, mostly because I have no interest in Madonna, and I'm disgusted with both Shimon Peres and the Kabballah Centre. But, since you asked...
I am Jewish. My parents are Jewish. My Grandparents are Jewish. My Great Grandparents are Jewish, all the way back to the beginning of time. I am an Ashkenazi Jew, to be specific, Tay Sachs gene and all. That doesn't make me an expert on all things Jewish, its just a fact of what I am, what I was born to be, and what I will always be. I don't speak for other Jews, I speak only for myself, and from my own personal experience.
Regardless of what she says, Madonna is not Jewish. She is just playing with Hollywood's religion of the month, a designer religion made up by a savvy entrepreneur who has discovered a way to make a boatload of cash off lost souls searching for validation and salvation.
I visited the local Kabballah Centre back in 1998, after my brain surgery. Since I was forbidden to work, I had too much time on my hands, and I was curious. So I sat in on a beginner's class, with my head still wrapped in bandages, topped off with a baseball cap. Kabballah 101. It was interesting, and I liked the Rabbi. He was a young and personable guy.
So, I signed up for a few classes, and attended the first few faithfully. I'm not going to go into the basics of what they teach, its just too complicated to get into here and now. Suffice it say that it is based upon redemption, deed and action and the consequences of one's behavior. Sound familiar?
After a couple of classes, the Rabbi singled me out for a little talk after class. He urged me to make an appointment to meet with him privately, he had noticed my bandages, and he told me he knew things that would help me. It seems that my tumor was the result of my behavior in my past life, and I needed to do certain things to correct the situation or my next life would be even worse. Whoa!
Call me crazy, but I have never believed that my brain tumor was a punishment from G-d.
Still, I am a curious creature, and the next day, I called to make the appointment. I wanted to hear what he had to say. The lady who answered the phone passed me to the Rabbi's secretary, who made the appointment for me. When I asked how much the appointment would cost... she said the strangest thing. "Bring your credit card."
My credit card? Whatever for? Just tell me how much I can expect to pay. And the Rabbi's secretary explained that the Rabbi would likely give me a prescription to be filled, of course, at the Kabballah Centre store, all for my salvation. Yes, the Kabballah Centre store, where one can buy Kabballah Water (bottled straight from the tap in Canada) for $10.00 a bottle. Special Canadian water that they claim can cure cancer. Yeah, sure.
There is also available special incense and candles and special red string to wear around my wrist, to ward off the evil eye spell that was surely placed on me by an evil enemy and likely caused my brain tumor, the same brain tumor that presumably was the fault of my bad behavior in another life, or perhaps caused by my failure to drink many bottles of $10.00 Canadian tap water surrounded by the smoke and smell of special Kabballah Centre scented horseshit on a stick.
At that point, I just sighed, and hung up the phone.
The Kabballah Centre has created the perfect religion for someone like lost little Madge, beseiged by the guilt of a lifetime of debauchery and regret, consummed by hopes and dreams of salvation. She is the perfect mark for a con man like Phillip Berg, and the perfect victim of religious fraud. Combine her ego with her self serving attitude, and the end result is the self-proclaimed Ambassador for Judaism busy absorbing the light and becoming one with her retailer.
Phillip Berg and the Kabballah Centre are Jewish equivalent of the cult of Jim Bakker. They give Judaism a bad name.
I've heard it argued that Madge is a serving as a beacon, and that she's attracting people to Judaism, but, she's not. Madge is not Jewish, and what she practices is not Judaism, its merchandising. Drinking $10.00 bottles of Canadian tap water and wearing red string does not make you Jewish and it won't get you salvation. There's quite a bit more to it than that. She's just helping Phillip Berg sell some overpriced water and some red string.
Most of the time, Madonna flies beneath my radar, as I am completely uninterested in what she says and what she does. But Shimon Peres, he is a dangerous man, committed to the dismantling and eventual destruction of the Land of Israel, he is the enemy within.

It was just after midnight when the 69th Squadron of Israeli F15Is crossed the Syrian coast-line. On the ground, Syria’s formidable air defences went dead. An audacious raid on a Syrian target 50 miles from the Iraqi border was under way.
At a rendezvous point on the ground, a Shaldag air force commando team was waiting to direct their laser beams at the target for the approaching jets. The team had arrived a day earlier, taking up position near a large underground depot. Soon the bunkers were in flames.

TIKRIT, Iraq - A Hunter unmanned aerial vehicle engaged and killed two suspected improvised explosive device emplacers overwatching a major thoroughfare for Coalition Forces during a historic flight near Qayyarah, Iraq, in Nineveh province Sept. 1.
A scout weapons team from 2nd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, observed the two unknown enemy fighters in a tactical overwatch near the roadside. The SWT requested support from the Hunter UAV.
The pilots guided the Hunter operator to the scene where it set up for a strike mission and dropped its precision munition, killing both unknown enemies and marking a first in Army Aviation history.

Make no mistake
Look. Look closely at that picture and ask yourself, what kind of person would do such a thing?
What you see in that picture is the result of contempt for the United States of America, and contempt not only for the men and women who gave their lives serving this Country, but contempt for those who serve today.
Think about the soldier in your life, I know there is one. If its not a Veteran of wars past, its a soldier serving now. Its your son, your daughter, your father, your mother, your aunt or your uncle, or your cousins, its your neighbor's kid, or your child's former schoolmate, the kid who used to deliver your paper, the girl who used to babysit your children. Everyone knows someone who has served, or is serving now.
Imagine if that was the name of your soldier beneath those marks of contempt.
Look at that picture and tell me, do you share the contempt? Do you condone the contempt?
What you see in that picture is the result of the twisted and demented ideology of the party of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John Murtha and Hillary Clinton. The people who continue to elect Ted Kennedy and John Kerry. They say they are anti-war but what they are is anti-America. And as you can see, they hate our troops.
If you're a democrat, then this what you stand for, this is the ideology of what you support. Make no mistake about it. This is the true face of the democrats, and the only face of the democrats, because there is no such thing as a moderate democrat, no such thing as a middle of the road democrat, no such thing as an extremist democrat. In the end, there is no difference between extremely pregnant and moderately pregnant. You are what you are. In the end, they are only democrats and this outrage, this insult to our Nation and the men and women who serve is what they stand for. If you support them, then their ideology is your ideology.

Police picked up Houssein Zorkot at night, in a park in a Detroit suburb. He was wearing dark clothes and camouflage makeup and armed with AK-47. He resisted arrest and was tasered by the officers.
I'm sure he's just another troubled youth and its all just a mistake. Those nasty racist policemen misunderstood his motives. There's a perfectly good reason for Zorkot to be crawling around in the dark with a AK-47, dark clothes and covered in war paint. Call the ACLU and que up concerned parents claiming he's a good boy who loves America.
Of course, there's nothing to worry about, if there were, well, the networks would surely interrupt coverage of OJ Simpson to tell you about it.

Good News for Ron Paul Fans!
Its a World Net Daily Exclusive that should have been titled "Ron Paul is no longer in last place."
One can only assume that the ass-kicking he received during the senate race against Obama has filled Alan Keyes with confidence. He couldn't beat the guy that can't beat Hillary, but I'm sure he'll collect some cash anyways. And he'll likely leave a trail of unpaid debt for this campaign too, in the end, that's what he does best.
Ain't that just what we need... another loser in the mix.

Fred!
I visited with Fred this past week during his Grassroots Tour at the Versailles Restaurant in the Little Havana section of Miami. The complete video of Fred's talk with us is posted at Blogs for Fred Thomspon.
Of course, it was in little Havana, and I was one of the few non-hispanics in attendance that were not part of the “show,” and I was most certainly the only Jew. I had prepared a question for him, but decided not to ask it at that moment, in that place, for of course, my question concerned Israel, and I considered the audience.
Fred was very well received by the hispanic community, even while he spoke out against the immigration bill. Although really, that should come as no surprise, considering that the immigrants in the room immigrated the legal way, some of them caught in a decade of paperwork and red tape. They earned their citizenship and are deeply resentful of those who cheat the process.
I did have a moment with Fred, after he tasted some authentic Cuban pastries. When we spoke, I held in my hand a blue metal bracelet made in support of the three Israeli soldiers who were kidnapped over a year ago, and who remain in terrorist hands. It has their names, and the words "Free Our Soldiers" on it.
He looked directly into my eyes, as I said "I have a gift for you Senator Thompson, from South Florida's Jewish Community." and I showed him the bracelet. He looked down and I'm sure he could see clearly what it said. I expected him to take it from my hands, and instead, he held out his arm in invitation, and I placed the bracelet on his wrist with my own hands. He thanked me, and that was that.
It you look closely... since you know its there, you can just barely make out the bracelet on Senator Thompson's left wrist, next to his watch, while he's joking on the bus...
I was thrilled to be there, to stand face to face with Fred Thompson, to look into his eyes, and place that gift on his wrist. I came away with very positive feelings. It was a moment of class, dignity and friendship for the Jewish people, and one I will never, ever forget.

Counterterrorism Officials Analyzing Islamic Web Post Warning of 'Special Gift'
DEVELOPING STORY: Federal counterterrorism officials are analyzing a posting on an Islamic forum Web site that warns of "a special gift" to be given on the sixth anniversary of Sept. 11, FOX News has learned.
The warning was posted Sept. 2 on a site frequented by radical groups and said in part that "there will be a special gift coming on the day of the blessed invasion of Manhattan."
Federal officials told FOX News they are trying to determine if it might be a specific warning or just part of broad chatter that has been heard during the last few months.
Postings talking about "gifts" have been seen before in the days leading up to the anniversary of Sept. 11

No more soft islam
There is nothing I can say about the threat of islam that would be more revealing than this:
Enough with the “Islam is a Religion of peace!!!” It surely is a Religion of peace and it surely is a religion of war. So we tell the apologists: Give up your soft Islaam and learn how to become men like the Sahaabah.
I found that little tidbit posted at a very revealing jihadi website known as "The ignored puzzle pieces of knowledge," where it was posted along with a video call to jihad against a backdrop of phony American troops:
Primarily in English, the video voice over urges a commitment to islam through jihad and the glory of martyrdom. A bit bizarre though, to listen to the voice over droning on about the strength and glory of allah's warriors while watching those same warriors herded like sheep by our troops, with their faces in the dirt.
The voice over tells us of the shahaaba, some moslem soldier who was captured in early days of islam, and who, when about to be boiled in oil by an evil king, starts to cry, but claims he is not crying with fear, he is crying with regret that "he has but one life to give to allah." They hijack our history and our heroes to fuel their hatred, and at Jihadi Fields are Calling, they have even stolen our Marine slogans:
That pic is from the site's page of jihad wallpaper, which also features beautiful little boys and girls dressed up as terrorists, raised on violence and death, ready for their martyrdom and glory, proudly proclaiming... these are the children of islam, who will not grow up to be doctors and lawyers and scientists. No, instead, they will grow up to be murderers, terrorists.
The picture is as I found it, caption and all.
But we're not done yet, there's more. There is always more:
The post was titled "Soon …. Soon … Soon … Soon… the blessed invasion of Manhattan" and it claims in both English and arabic that there is a special gift for America coming on the anniversary of 9/11.
Just think, if we cut and run like the democrats want us to, these terrorists win.
Jihadi websites are a dime a dozen, the call to jihad hosted by American companies trying to make a buck at the expense of our troops and our freedom. Both of the blogs featured here today are hosted by wordpress, all in the name of free speech.
