Reason # 47549 why I love soccer
Because... if it weren't for soccer, I would not have had the chance to meet the one and only Ocean Guy, who was in town for his son's soccer game.
Yes, tis true, Ocean Guy is the newest addition to "Bloggers I have Met" (the list is growing slowly but surely). You'll have to take my word for it though, as neither of us thought to take a photo. darn. I stole this picture from his "about" page, you'll have to settle for that.
We met for a couple of drinks and some very interesting conversation. You might not have noticed but Ocean Guy bears the distinction of being the only democrat on my blogroll and I have a tremendous respect for him.
I had a great time, Ocean Guy is every bit as wonderful as I thought he might be, and I hope we meet up again one day.

Aw Vinnie.
It wasn't a wet t-shirt, it was a damp t-shirt, and it was damp because I was hit with a couple of water balloons during the great Thanksgiving Day Water Balloon fight!

Vinnie come on, you know how it happened. Linda said what it was from. She got a little wet playing with the water baloons with the kids at Thanksgiving.
