Something... and Half of Something

Should I blame the Internet, the rise in Ritalin-associated neurological disorders (ADD, etc.) or something the commies put into the water for PaulNuts, Troofers and all the rest of today's pack of foaming-at-the-mouth morons? I suspect it's TV and the destruction of mature attention span, but that's an easy shot. Whatever the cause, in my puny lifetime (I'm only 47) I've seen a frightening rise in the number of people who are--simultaneously--seriously pissed off, absolutely positively certain of their "facts" and eager as hell to vote for a batshit-crazy lunatic so that they can feel that their grievances actually count in the grand scheme of things.

Wasn't this how Hitler got so popular? Crimus, it's not even 9am and I'm already craving a Glenfiddich.

It is the Internet, which creates mob frenzy while not even being near each other. They work off each other from hundreds of miles away.
