I first thought this might be a nother Nigerian scam probelm, but the saw the sijnature of high esteamed Mr. Kofi Anan of United Nations, (former).

Now I know it's a scam.

I know it's terribly racist, but every time I saw that guy I was reminded of "Papa" Monzano," a minor character in Vonnegut's *Cat's Cradle* based on Papa Doc Duvalier (the sadistic, corrupt, useless dictator of Haiti for so many years). Vonnegut introduced him offhandedly as "a gorilla in his late 70s."

Seemed poignantly accurate and fitting to me.

Loved teaching that book in Intro to Lit classes, hated teaching it in Freshman Comp II.

Linda, you are missing a golden opportunity to 'broker' some deals.:)

Now Kofi Annan, a true bigot, reminded me of this guy, a French Accent, the monetary excange for his slick services and the same outcome with the funds.
