ET opened up some bad memories, Kennedy and Johnson had Ramsey Clark for attorney general, Clark Clifford, Robert McNamara and Melvin Laird sucessively as Secretary's of Defense, all guilty of sending American troops to their deaths while at the same time playing the pacifist game with human lives, ours and our allies. While I'm no fan of the Bush administration, and have served under Johnson and Nixon there were shortages of men and materiel, all due to the Democrats at the time. We adapted, endured and overcame. Everything on the battlefield today is superior to what we had.
For Obama to make that charge against the Bush administration I want him to name the source of his "Army Captain' in charge of a rifle platoon". Methinks that lying black bastard is talking out of his ass!!!

Pure Bullshit. Infantry, or any other small units are not broken up and deployed to different theaters. Obama is either lying out his ass or is gullible to phonys telling war stories, or both. The MSM should have called him on this one, but the he is the MSM's darling right now.
