He was a great man

Charlton Heston ~ October 4, 1924 – April 5, 2008

"Mr. Clinton, sir, America didn't trust you with our health care system. America didn't trust you with gays in the military. America doesn't trust you with our 21-year-old daughters, and we sure, Lord, don't trust you with our guns.”

“I intend to dedicate my remaining time as president of the NRA to ensure that the Second Amendment is safe from Al Gore and all those who threaten it...”

"Freedom is our fortune and honor is our saving grace."

Rest in Peace Mr. Heston

I still have my "CHARLTON HESTON IS MY PRESIDENT" bumper sticker. An incredible man: I'm glad the Lord let us have him for a while.

(I may have to watch the TV news tonight to see how they spin this news.)
