Miami Beach Synagogue Torched
Chabad synagogue in Miami torched
Synagogue's rabbi recounts: Individuals broke into synagogue, tore Torah books to pieces and torched them
Ze'ev Katz, the synagogue's head rabbi, recounted the event on one of Chabad's internet websites, saying that a number of individuals broke into the empty synagogue, took the Torah books from the cabinet, tore them to pieces, and set them on fire.

Chabad rabbis in the US assumed that the purpose of the attack was to target areas in which large amounts of Chabad Jews gather outside of Israel. The rabbis also said that the majority of anti-Semitic activity that takes place in the US is perpetrated by the Muslim community.
This is not the first time a Synagogue has been torched in Miami Beach, last October another was damaged by fire, but it was deemed to be an accident. Swastikas and anti-Jewish statements spray painted outside a Yeshiva, just a few blocks from my home in North Miami Beach, last year was deemed to be youthful vandalism.
The FBI agreed to investigage, but they don't want to call this torching a hate crime - yet. Maybe they will, but likely, they won't.
I can't possibly express all of the things I am feeling about this right now.

Linda this is so horrible. And they aren't calling it a hate crime????What the #$$%. That makes it a double hate crime imo when they don't call it what it is.

this is all getting to be a little to much like the twilight zone. i seem to recall in not-to-distant history where crimes against jews went unpunished. anyone recall what happened next?

Where is Ron Klein's Anti -Semitism Task Group?
Where is their Jew hating member Keith Ellison (Ummah uber alles) and what is he doing ? The moslems are streaming into the US at rate of 100,000 per year. Will this help or hurt the vulnerable Jewish Community?
Or do you keep repeating the same nonsensical rubbish: "It's not all moslems". In WW2 it wasn't all Germans or all Austrians or all Japanese. But during war they all had to be treated as the enemey.
