¿Habla Español?

In case you don't:

Announcer: Obama and his congressional allies say they are on the side of immigrants. But are they?

The press reports that their efforts were "poison pills" that made immigration reform fail.

The result:

No guest worker program. No path to citizenship.

No secure borders. No reform.

Is that being on our side?

Obama and his congressional allies ready to block immigration reform, but not ready to lead.

McCain: I'm John McCain and I approve this message.

Gah! That bastard! He said he learned his lesson, he said he gave up McAmnesty, but it seems pretty obvious that he didn't. We know what he's talking about in those "secret" meetings with La Raza, don't we? I'm told that this particular campaign video is not available on McCain's campaign site where real Americans might see it. That might be true, it might not be true. Sadly, I find that I don't care enough to look.

In the excitment of Sarah Palin's nomination, I almost forgot all of the reasons why I was dead set against John McCain in his bid for the presidency right from the start. I almost forgot that on many issues, he is a looney nutjob liberal and I firmly believe that at least some of those looney liberal policies constitute a major threat to this country. Truly, the only thing I agree with John McCain on is the war.

Alas, I also firmly believe in karma, so I can't bring myself to hope or pray that he gets elected and then croaks and leaves Sarah in charge, but I confess to thinking that would be the best thing for America. There. I said it, G-d forgive me.

But, the alternative to McCain... well... there is no way I am going to sit back on my heels and allow the likes of Barack Hussein Obama to sit in my White House, so, yes, you guessed right OceanGuy!

And... thanks to my good friend Rodger, who first listened patiently to how I felt and then went to the drawing board for me, I'm now flying new colors:

McCain Haters for McCain

Yep. That's my new shirt, and that bumper sticker is on my truck, and yes, if you want, you can get yourself some too, with or without the "crazy lady" whose grimace so captures how I feel about this election. I wore one of the t-shirts this weekend, and I got a lot of laughs and more than a few high fives over it. It's nice to know I'm not alone in my thinking.

I am a McCain Hater for McCain.

You have summed up exactly how most of us feel, a vote for McCain is a vote to keep a Zebra Saul Alinsky out of the Whitehouse. God bless you Linda.

Sigh....hold my nose, pull the lever. Thanks for the reminder, when he stabs us in the back at least we'll see it coming.

I agree Linda except I will add one more thing I agree with McCain about and that is his stand on abortion. So it is his stand on the war and his stand on abortion for me that saves his butt.Just barely.

I really believe most of us that are conservatives all feel the same way as you do Linda. It is the hardest election in my life. Palin is so awesome and McCain is a traitor to our POW's. I always thought when I had to talk myself into Bush when he ran against Gore was my hardest election. I hated that Bush was for illegals.
But McCain is more even more of a rino then Bush.

The things McCain did to the POW/MIA families is my number one biggest reason I cannot forgive McCain for thing he has ever done.

God brought us Sarah I truly believe this, that is also why the left hates her so much. She is real and has goodness in her.

We all need to pray for our country every day. We live in scary times.

Thanks Linda, you are as always my most awesome friend.

Love ya!!!

Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me.
