Something... and Half of Something: Today's Obama Supporter

Today's Obama Supporter

Her name is Peggy Joseph, and she is what we here in Florida call a Floridiot. Here she is at the Obama Rally in Sunrise this past Wednesday, all fired up about getting her fair share of your wealth:

Peggy Joseph: "It was the most memorable time of my life. It was a touching moment. Because, I, I never thought this day would ever happen. I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car, I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage, you know, if I help him, he's gonna help me."

How wonderful for Peggy that the Obamamessiah is gonna fill her gas tank and pay her mortgage! I suppose I must have missed that particular campaign promise from Obama, but hey, it leaves "a chicken in every pot" in the dust, don't it?

Is America really this stupid? I like to think it's not, but lately, well, it sometimes appears so.

If the Obamamessiah wins the White House, Peggy Joseph is in for major disappointment, oh yes indeed. She'll learn all about exactly how he treats the poor, and it's a bitter lesson. Yes indeed Peggy, the Obamamessiah is going to help you, just like the Obamamessiah helped the good people of Chicago.

and... thank you Rodger... for heeding my cry for help and putting together that video for me. You are amazing and wonderful and I just loves ya!

It's truly sad that a dullard like that will cancel out the vote of someone such as myself and others who actually study the positions and issues of a candidate.

What's truly sad is there are folks just like her in Tampa. They never paid attention in school or else they'd know that socialism doesn't work. It has never made the poor rich, rather just the opposite.

Just ask the Cubans...they got "Change" in 1959. How's that workin' out for ya, Binky?

I want you all to know that this is my sister and how proud I am to make that statement. In this crazy world people often hear but do not listen. Instead they hear what they want not what is being said. I thought the people of the United States were smarter than that! What is being promised is the destruction of the system we hold dear. What ever happened to work for a living! This canditate is looking to make this a 2% country where 2% pay for 98%!

Posted by: dammitwoman at October 31, 2008 03:23 PM

She might be right, if God forbid, there is no gas or food to buy. Socialists love the poor so much they create many more of them, then starve them to death.

Another IL politician indicted last thursday.
One of the Governor's buddies(Rezko) was convicted of quite a few things recently. (If I remember right, wasn't this the same guy who got Obama a deal on the some property?)

Is this the kind of change we want after Nov. 4th?

He likes Jerry Hughes but thought Pat Angerer was a reach in Round 2 and “could have been around even at that No. 94 slot where Indy picked Kevin Thomas.” He rates Thomas a risk because of injury history. In general, nothing flashy. “But I'm never going to believe Bill Polian won't prove me wrong on at least one of these guys.”Add the Houston Texans to the teams that are making a big run at Nnanmdi Asomugha. The Texans join the Jets and 49ers as teams currently scrambling to pay Asomugha big dollars. Houston’s foray into the Asomugha party is not a surprise. They’ve been expected to make a run. The more teams making a serious bid, means the more money Asomugha will take him.

Brady's characteristics, such as tenacity, leadership, smarts, talent and worth ethic, work in any era. This vote also proves winning is timeless.Sure, we're still about six months from the start of the regular season. There's also this thing called the NFL draft that will take place next month. But our Power Rankings voters at ESPN.com, which includes me for a second year, weighed in to see where the teams stand after the first week of free agency.

"Our thoughts are with Matt and his family during this time," Belichick said. "From a football standpoint, we will just handle it with the other guys like we normally do in any other situation. Otherwise, we are getting ready for Oakland." Brees suffered his injury in a Week 3 game against Atlanta and wasn’t listed on the injury report for the first week after the game. He wore a brace and later was on the injury report for three weeks, but never missed any playing time. But I tend to be a little wary of guys who work on the same side of the ball as a particularly good head coach. Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick have done good work for the 49ers. But are they, and Roman, products of 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh?

2. The power of Todd Haley’s beard: The Chiefs are now 3-3 after starting 0-3. However, since Haley start growing his beard, the Chiefs have not lost and Haley is off the hot seat. He will not shave until his team losses.Cutler has earned plenty of scrutiny in our hyper-quick and highly sensitive world of presumed decorum. Much of it has been earned. But are we now no longer able to grant Cutler the courtesy of muttering under his breath with impunity?Matt Maiocco of the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat also breaks down the final seconds. Also, Martz blames running back Frank Gore for failing to turn around on the ill-fated shovel pass that resulted in Adrian Wilson's interception.

No. 6 seed Philadelphia Eagles (10-6-1) at No. 1 seed New York Giants (12-4), Sunday, 1 p.m. ET MINNEAPOLIS -- The Eagles were still celebrating their wild-card playoff win over the Vikings on Sunday when reporters started asking them about the Giants. There was a sense in the locker room that the Eagles are confident heading into Sunday's divisional playoff game based, in part, on their Dec. 7 win over the Giants in the Meadowlands.

Hey there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are
you using for this site? I'm getting sick and tired of Wordpress because I've had problems with hackers and I'm looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

blog. A great read. I will definitely be back.
