It has begun
In case you have not yet heard, about 8:15 p.m. Israel time, the IDF Ground Offensive into Gaza has commenced. Please send a prayer and good wishes to the Israel Defense Forces for much success and safety.
Prayer for the Welfare of Soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces:
May He who blessed our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, bless the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces who keep guard over our country and cities of our Lord from the border with Lebanon to the Egyptian desert and from the Mediterranean Sea to the approach to the Arava, be they on land, air or sea.
May the Almighty deliver us our enemies who arise against us, may the Holy One, blessed be He, preserve them and save them from all sorrow and peril, from danger and ill.
May He send blessing and success in all their endeavors, may He deliver to them those who hate us and crown them with salvation and victory, so that the saying may be fulfilled through them, "For the Lord, your God, who walks with you and to fight your enemies for you and to save you", and let us say, Amen.

I, too, shall be praying for the success of Israeli forces.
(I have tried to express here other support for Israel, but it either sounds as though I'm cheering on one team in a game--which trivializes the situation--or like an academic/military discussion, which contributes nothing.)

Thank you Linda, may God watch over and protect the Israeli people and her warriors.
Fox has some Hamas mouthpiece condemning the Israeli invasion on 'humanitarian terms'. The indiscriminate shelling of innocent civilians and the homicidal bombing is somehow acceptable by the UN and the Arabs. The Arab League is demanding a ceasefire, that is telling in just how effective the IDF has been.
Take the gloves off IDF, it's a dirty job but Ghengis Kahn provided a thousand years of peace for mankind when he conquered the Mid East. Iraq and Iran lost many malcontents but they weren't around to breed more malcontents.
As for being PC, call a mad dog what it is, we're either going to be labeled extremist, reactionary or racist, certainly not a pacifist. It's the only defense the critics have to defend their precious muzzie murderers. There has been too much portrayal of the 'Palestinian' as the victim. Israel won her homeland, bought the rest from the squatters while every malcontent from Jordan, Egypt and Syria that has been booted out of their own homeland has gravitated to Israel, all sanctioned by the United Nations. Enough!!! We tend to excuse the Pally behavior because of fears that the United States will get involved, we already are involved. Tossing our strongest ally under the bus for appeasement purposes only invites the ragheads to attack internally here.
