Meet Chris DeHaven
He's Organizing for America:
Jeepers. It's nice of Chris to say in plain English that Organizing for America is really liberal double speak for organizing an army, but then, most of us knew that anyway, didn't we? I really wish this would have gotten more coverage, that someone would find it newsworthy enough to pin him down hard on what he hopes to do with that army, exactly who it is he hopes to fight.
I'm tempted to do it myself.

Buyer's Remorse
Selected Quotes from around the web:
- There's also anger at Democrats. Brokers who supported Barack Obama, some voting for a Democratic presidential candidate for the first time, feel betrayed by bill.
- “Fuck Obama,” one person said aloud on the floor, giving voice to the feeling of political betrayal.
- "This is the most profoundly anti- American thing I’ve ever seen.”
Boo hoo. I'm finding it hard to feel bad for you guys, especially since you came out so strong for Obamessiah. It looks to me like you guys got just what you voted for. I hope this is enough to put a fright into you, and I hope you learn a little something about what happens when you put the liberals in charge.
But I'm not so sure this warrants all this panic, because I doubt this nutso tax will really happen. At least, not now, not yet. I'm sure Congress is that dumb, but I'm not so sure Obama is that dumb. This is not the time. I could be wrong, but, he is staying neutral, and I think he'll avoid it in the end.
Although I have say, it would serve you right if it does. You deserve the government you voted for, even if we don't deserve the government you voted for.
So, even though it would serve you right, and even if politically, it would sink those damn liberals once and for all, we simply can't let such a thing happen here in America. The democrats must be made to know that the United States Government may not be allowed to use the Tax Code as a weapon against the citizens of the United States. No true American will stand for it, it is an outrage that cannot be tolerated. Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank, they may be too stupid to see that, but Obama, I think he knows.
Still, we must make no mistake about how and why we got into this mess in the first place. We didn't arrive here by accident. U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry put it all together neatly and sweetly when he said: “We got here because the Democratic majority insisted on passing a 1,000-page bill which nobody read and which was not exposed to the light of day. And in the hundreds of provisions in that bill was one that allowed bonuses to be paid.”
That's right, and the provision that gave AIG the ability to hand out those bonuses was part of a closed door deal negotiated by U.S. Senator Chris Dodd, a Connecticut Democrat who is chairman of the Senate Banking Committee. Senator Dodd has admitted that he played a primary role in negotiating the provisions that allowed the bonus payouts. Dodd made sure no one was looking and he slipped it in.
Funny thing about those closed door negotiations, they were duly reported and objected to by Republicans and other people of conscience and those reports and objections were glossed over and ignored by Congress, the media and the general public.
No objections to the closed door negotiations were raised by the same people who are now up in arms, objecting to the end result and calling for blood.
Just think, there are over a thousand pages of provisions in that bill, provisions negotiated in the same manner and spirit as the bonus payouts, no one knows the extent of what's in the bill, no one. This is just the beginning. As the fruits of these closed door negotiations come to light, as the end result of the double dealing becomes obvious, as mainstream America begins to see where its money is going, we can expect more outrage and more congressional bait and switch of emotions, because that's all this is, a bait and switch of emotions.
You see, you're not supposed to be mad at Chris Dodd, who snuck around behind closed doors and did a deal to make it possible for $165 million of your money to be given away as bonus payouts, and you're not supposed to be mad at the other democrat party elite in congress who took part in the closed door negotiations and you're not supposed to be mad at the rest of the democrat congress who voted for the stimulus bill without bothering to read a single provision. Oh no. They're only the ones responsible but you're not supposed to be mad at them. You're supposed to be mad at the poor schmuck who signed a contract that provided for that bonus to keep him in what can only be described as a dead end job. You're supposed to drive by the poor schmuck's house and intimidate him, you're supposed to want him to commit suicide, not the senators.
In any event, when it comes to the stimulus bill, $165 million is chump change. You want to something to complain about, how do you feel about paying $150 million to insure honeybee farmers? When you get mad about that, remember to be mad at the damm honeybee farmers and not the government that gave them your money. How dare those honeybee farmers take your money for insurance? Let them buy their own insurance. Who pays for your insurance? They have no right to that money, and they should give that money back, all of it. How about a bus tour of honeybee farms?
What's $165 million in bonuses compared to $650 million for TV coupons? When you get mad about that, remember to be mad at Oprah, and Geraldo, and the executives at ABC, NBC, and CBS, after all, it's their shows on the TV that people are going to be watching, they make money when people watch, they get the benefit, not you! They're already rich, why don't they pay for the damn TV coupons? Do a bus tour, drive by their homes, see how they live, and intimidate them into paying.
How about $600 million for the federal government to drive new cars? When you get mad about that, remember to be mad at the people who are driving those cars, not the government that bought them. Go to your federal buildings, find those new cars and the people who drive them. Follow those people home, why are they driving the cars home anyway? That's not government business, that's an abuse of taxpayer money. Harass them into giving those cars back, after all, how old is your car? Who is buying you a new car?
How about $335 million to prevent sexually transmitted diseases? When you get mad about that, remember to be mad at the people who have sex with a different person every nite without bothering to use a condom, and don't get mad at the government who rewarded their sexual misbehavior with $335 million of your tax dollars. Ask yourself, is that getting you a job? Hell no! We should get that money back too, I don't know how, but I do know they can keep their legs closed for free. We'll have to wait for congress to tell us who to chase down on that one, or maybe those bastards at ACORN can help, hell, they probably got some of that money themselves, I bet they did, they're just the type.
Oh, there's also that $54 billion that will go to federal programs that the Office of Management and Budget or the Government Accountability Office has already criticized as "ineffective" or unable to pass basic financial audits. How do you feel about that? Ineffective or unable to pass basic financial audits and they're getting $54 billion! Now, who do suppose Congress will blame for that screw-up? and how do we go about getting that money back? Any suggestions?
Using the Congressional Punishment Method, these are just some of ways you can fight being taken advantage of by evil people who are using the recession and government programs to enrich themselves. Fear and intimidation, we saw it work with AIG, some of those guys returned the bonus when they had every right in the world to keep that money.
It's a good thing so many of us are unemployed, because if Congress is going to use American citizens as a mob to intimidate stimulus recipients into returning money, it looks like we have our work cut out for us. But don't be discouraged.
Hopey changey.
Is this a great country or what? Makes you proud to be an American, don't it?

We saw... They saw
I didn't bother to watch the TV clips of Obamessiah’s special message to Iran on the occasion of Nowruz, which I'm told is a holiday that celebrates the first day of spring and the New Year in many countries. I didn't watch because I don't think it's possible for me to care less and besides, I don't watch TV. However, I did happen to catch an interesting post about it over at Mark Finkelstein's blog, not only did he watch it, Mark did a little research on it. Turns out, the White House released more than one video of Obama's speech.
If you're an American and you watched it here in America, you would have seen Obamessiah looking like this:

If you're an Iranian, and you watched it over there in Iran, you would have seen Obamessiah looking like this:

Well. How do you like that? The Obamessiah edited the video to make the American Flag completely disappear from the background before sending his message to the mullahs and Amadinejad, and not only that, but Obamessiah cropped it so close, so tight that the subtitles manage to cover up the American Flag lapel pin through pretty much all of the clip as well.
Seems like the Obamessiah went to an awful lot of trouble to wipe that video clean of all American symbolism to avoid offending his new friends.
What a shameful, cowardly and despicable thing for the President of the United States of America to do.
UPDATE: Just to be clear, for those of you who have asked "is it possible that Iran had the flag voided before transmitting the message rather than Obama's team doing it?" I guess you didn't follow the link back to Mark Finkelstein's site. I put the link there because I meant for you to go to his site and read his post.
If you had, you would have noted that Mark lifted the screenshots from the White House website. The answer to your question would be no. The removal of the flag from the video was done by the White House, not by anyone else, not by the Iranians, not by evil republicans, not by Karl Rove. It was done by the White House and presumably under orders from the Obamessiah himself.
And... to those of you who have written to me about the file format differences, well. It appears from the final result of the Iranian version that what was needed was for the video to be wider and higher than the American version. So, what the White House did was to first render the video smaller by cropping out the flag and the other side of the video to keep it balanced and then blowing it up a bit and was left having to add a border to make it big enough to suit the size format needed for the final product.
Like I said, they went to an awful lot of trouble to remove the flag from the video.

Introducting the Terrorist Visa
Attorney General Eric Holder, chosen by President Barack Obama to lead the administration's efforts to close the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, has begun his review of what to with prisoners hanging around and presumably suffering ill effects and mega resentments from their days of torture under the evil Bush regime.
Word is that "the administration," and that would be um,the Obama Administration, seeks to transfer some detainees to Europe or other countries while freeing others. Problem is, Europe said no. We don't want 'em, you take them. Other countries will take them, and kill them, but that offends the liberal point of view when it comes to terrorists. So the transfer is out and we're left with freeing others option and trying to figure out what they're gonna do with the non-transfer ones.
Holder told reporters at the Justice Department that the administration's review, made on a case-by-case basis, would determine whether the prisoners need to be put on trial or whether they can be released.
So we have some that will be freed, with essentially means released. Others will be put on trial or released. They can't be transferred, no one wants them. So basically, it's trial or released. So we're left with, released where? If they can't be transferred to other countries, then it stands to reason that they can't be released there either. Our options are shinking.
"For those who are in that second category, who can be released, there are a variety of options that we have. Among them is the possibility that we could release them into this country," he said.
Holder said it was possible the 17 Chinese Muslims who have been held for years at Guantanamo, and two or three others prisoners, could be freed in the United States
Yeah. You knew that was coming, didn't you. Yes. Here. Right here. Holder wants to set those terrorist free, into the good old USofA. Why? Because no other country is stupid enough to take them and if they're sent to their home country, they'll be "persecuted" and we can't have that, can we?
Amazing. Even if we're only talking about these chinese nationals, they were in al qaeda training camps learning what they need to know so they could go home to China and attack a few targets over there. Rather then send them back to China to be dealt with as they should be, the Obama Administration will set them loose on U.S. soil so they can attack a few targets here or pass their schooling along to others.
The rest of the terrorists in Gitmo, well, same problems, so, the Obama Administration is about create the Terrorist Visa, Girmo is America's new Ellis Island, gateway to the destruction of America.
Holder was wrong. We are not a nation of cowards, but a full 52% of us are idiots. And when the attacks come, when Americans start going boom in the streets and malls of America, I hate to think of how many of us who knew better will be hurt because of the stupidity of those within that 52%.

When enough is enough
Terror victims' relatives vow revenge
Brothers who lost family in Jerusalem attack: We'll pursue terrorists freed in swap deal
Tzvika Brot Published: 03.16.09, 17:22 / Israel News
The relatives of some Israeli terror victims are preparing for the "day after" a possible Shalit prisoner swap, in an effort to locate and target terrorists freed as part of the deal, Yedioth Ahronoth reported Monday.
The new organization has already started to raise funds and held several meetings in order to formulate its "eye for an eye" policy. The initiative is being led by Attorney Meir Schijveschuurder and his brother Shvuel, who lost their parents and three siblings in the suicide bombing at the Sbarro pizza parlor in Jerusalem in 2001.
The brothers recently started to bring together relatives of terror victims and initiated contacts with donors in Israel and abroad. The new organization aims to prepare an "intelligence dossier" on terrorists with blood on their hands to be released in future swaps and pursue them worldwide.
"We have a file about most of the murderers, including information about their families," Meir Schijveschuurder said "The parents of one of the terrorists involved in the Sbarro attack, for example, own a pizza parlor in Jenin. We have their residential address."
"In addition, there is the female terrorist who organized the terror attack, and she will be the first one for me," he said. "She kept on smiling during the trial, and we shall erase her smile. I am mentally and physically ready to send her to the next world. As to the ones who will remain in Palestinian Authority areas, we will implement against them the customary law there: Eye for an eye."
Schijveschuurder made it clear that he has no qualms with the Israeli government, but added that "the moment it decided to stop punishing them, we will do it as a last result. It would be very worthwhile for those killers to remain in Israeli prisons, with all the benefits and perks. Out of jail they won't be able to sleep well at night. We will pursue them and get to all of them.
Meanwhile, victims' relatives made it clear that they will deal with every terrorist in line with the laws prevalent in his or her place of residence. For example, terrorists located in Germany or Holland will be subjected to lawsuits.
"We need about $5 million in order to hire teams and complete the mission, and we already have a part of this sum," one of the organizers said.
All this is so unnecessary. If Israel would just sentence these terrorists to death when they are convicted of terrorism, there would be no more demands to let them go.
The Knesset should meet, today, and declare into law the death penalty for acts of terrorism in Israel, retroactive for fifty years and then, vote to hold the implementation of executions of convicted terrorists in abeyance in exchange for the immediate release of Gilad Shalit. Give the arabs 24 hours to do so, and, if they fail to do so, then, immediately begin putting the monsters Israel holds in prisons to death until they do. And if they do, well. Then, announce that the executions will continue unless and until all of Israel's missing soldiers are returned, Ron Arad, Zachary Baumel, Tzvi Feldman, Yehuda Katz, Guy Hever.
That won't happen. Israel will continue to release monsters like Samir Kuntar, and it will soon release the monster Marwan Bin Khatib Barghouti. Hundreds of terrorists released from prison every few months, bombs falling with no repurcussions, Jewish blood spilled in the streets time and time again. I don't blame Israeli citizens and the families of victims for saying enough!
There are those who will call what is being proposed here revenge. Fine. Call it revenge if you like. I might call it delayed justice but to me that's a little trite, because I know what happens when Israel opens the doors of its prisons and releases terrorists to kill again. I call it protecting the innocent and saving lives.

These are the faces of 177 Jews, all of whom were murdered by palestinian terrorists after the terrorists were released from Israeli prisons, swapped for meaningless promises of peace, one-sided gestures of goodwill, in other words, for nothing. and...

Let us not forget Yohai Lifshitz, 18, from Jerusalem; Yonatan Yitzhak Eldar, 16, from Shilo; Yonadav Haim Hirschfeld, 19, from Kohav Hashahar, Neria Cohen, 15, also from the capital, Segev Peniel Avihail, 15, from Neve Daniel, Avraham David Moses, 16, from Efrat, Roee Roth, 18, from Elkana and Doron Meherete, 26, from Ashdod. They are the 8 young Yeshiva students brutally murdered in Jerusalem by Alaa Abu Dheim, who was arrested by Israeli authorities four months prior to the murders and then released two months later.
The innocent men, women and children you see pictured above were all brutally murdered by heartless animals, monsters with no morals, no empathy, no compassion, no soul, no dreams, no hopes, no goals, other than to bring death and destruction to everything and anything within reach, raised from the cradle to hate and murder Jews, to cause pain, and sorrow, to cause havoc, to hurt and to maim and to kill.
These monsters should have been put to death the first time they were caught killing innocent people, they should have been stopped before they had a chance to kill again. Setting them free to allow them to kill again is a crime against humanity. Setting them free to do murder is surely an act as evil as the murder they themselves commit. Those responsible for setting them free to do murder are as guilty as the murderers themselves.
It would be a mitzvah to help put a stop to the reign of terror perpetuated by the cycle of catch and release the Israeli government is playing with palestinian prisoners and Jewish lives. I've left a message with the local One Family Fund office to see if that's where I can send a donation to help.

mmmmm. Pancakes

Yes, it was six years ago today, on March 16, 2003, in the town of Rafah in southern Gaza, when Rachel Corrie, 23, an "international peace protester," dropped to her knees in front of an Israeli bulldozer during an IDF anti-terrorism action. She was... shall we say... squished, flat, and therefore shall forever be known as St. Pancake.
Her fellow protesters moonbats called it murder, even though they repeatedly defied warnings to leave the area, and the investigation determined that the driver of the bulldozer could not see Rachel Corrie. According to the inquiry, "the windows of the bulletproof bulldozer are very small and the visibility is very limited, and the bulldozer operator did not see the woman."
The group to which Rachel Corrie belonged, the International Solidarity Movement, published "before" and "after" pictures claiming to show that the bulldozer operator could in fact see her.
According to the International Solidarity Movement, this picture was taken immediately before the squishing:

And, according to the International Solidarity Movement, this picture was taken immediately after the squishing:

The pictures raise many questions, don't you think? Questions such as "which of these things are not like the other?"
An examination of those two pictures provides the answer: note that the background of the pictures are completely different, note the color of the sky, they could not have been taken close to the same point in time. And, note the difference in the two bulldozers shown in these supposed "before" and "after" pictures, they are not the same.
Indeed both CNN, which ran the two pictures, and the New York Times, which ran the first one, published the following corrections:
CNN, March 25, 2003:
Caption clarification: Photos by an International Solidarity Movement eyewitness show Rachel Corrie protesting earlier, and then later, after she was hit by an Israeli bulldozer in Gaza on Sunday.
The New York Times, March 26, 2003:
A picture caption on March 17 with an article about an American protester who was crushed by an Israeli Army bulldozer in Gaza referred incorrectly to the bulldozer shown. It was one that the protester, Rachel Corrie, had earlier tried to stop from destroying a Palestinian home. It was not the one that killed her.
The photographer himself later admitted that no one with a camera had been present at the site just before Rachel's accident, that the picture with the megaphone had actually been taken hours earlier, and that at the time of the accident Rachel was not in sight of the driver.
Nevertheless the murder charge has persisted and worshipers of St. Pancake, as well as pro-Palestinian web sites, including the International Solidarity Movement's own web site, continue to present the two pictures with incorrect and misleading labels.
Another photo in the photographer's own report, posted on pro-Palestinian web sites, shows Rachel's true proportion in relation to the enormous size of the bulldozer, making it clear how the driver could easily have missed seeing her.

Who are these "international peace protesters" to whom Rachel Corrie belonged?
The group calls itself the International Solidarity Movement. They are a group of European and American activists founded and led by Palestinians. Their agenda is not peace but the Palestinian cause.
They are enablers of terrorism and therefore, terrorists themselves.
Because they know that Israel, unlike the Palestinian terrorists, cares about civilian casualties, they present themselves as "human shields," entering combat zones against orders and hindering Israeli efforts to restrain terrorism. In May of 2003, members of the group entered the Church of the Nativity, where known Palestinian terrorists were taking a stand against Israeli forces.
They describe themselves as a "peace army." They claim to use only nonviolent tactics. But how nonviolent can one claim to be if one's actions help those who do resort to violence to continue doing their work?
They say they are trying to stop Israel from destroying Palestinian homes. They do not mention that these are buildings that Palestinian gunmen use as cover, or that these buildings hide tunnels used for arms smuggling. They do not mention that Gaza is the center of operations for Hamas, where terrorists are trained, where attacks are launched, and where terrorists hide. They do not mention that Israeli troops entered Gaza after a series of increasingly bloody attacks on civilians planned and executed by Hamas.
Rachel Corrie, an American college student from Olympia, Washington, was a pro-Palestinian activist and member of the International Solidarity Movement. She worked with Palestinian children in Gaza. She felt for their poverty and their suffering. She also helped teach them how to hate America and how to hate Israel. On February 15, 2003, at a rally in Rafah, surrounded by Palestinian children, Rachel Corrie burned an American flag, her face torn with hatred.

I would like to ask these "peace" activists a few questions:
If you care so much for children, why do you try to prevent Israel from stopping the activity of terrorists who intentionally murder children as well as other innocent civilians?
Why do you care more about Palestinian property than about Jewish lives?
If you truly stand for peace, will you have the honesty and the courage not only to resist Israeli troops, who obey the laws of civilization, but to ride an Israeli bus and take your chances with those who do not?
Or does "peace" mean trying your best to make sure that terrorists can operate freely?
The International Solidarity Movement has this quotation on its web site: "The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it." (Albert Einstein).
And perhaps the world is a dangerous place to live also because of people who don't do evil but who make it easier for others to do it. And then again, is there a difference?
So, once again, on the anniversary of the squishing of Rachel Corrie, rather than think about a stupid, brainwashed, terrorist apologist, I'll spend the day thinking about a few other Rachels, all of whom were murdered by the palestinian terrorists who were Rachel Corrie's friends:

Rachel Thaler, 16, was enjoying dinner with her
14-year old brothers and friends at an Israeli
pizzeria when a palestinian bomber detonated
himself at the restaurant.

Rachel Levi, 19, murdered when a Palestinian
rammed a bus into a crowded Israel bus stop,
killing Rachel and five others on February 14, 2001.

Rachel Levy, 17, was a high-school student
who was killed when a Palestinian suicide
bomber detonated herself at an Israeli supermarket.
Her death came on the heels of the death of Rachel's
cousin one month earlier in a terrorist shooting.

Rachel Charhi, 36, was killed when a
Palestinian terrorist detonated himself in a
café in Israel on April 4, 2002.

Rachel Gavish, 50, was murdered by a Palestinian
terrorist who infiltrated her home in Israel,
shooting dead Rachel, her husband David,
her son and Rachel's father.

Rachel Kol, 53, who worked for 20 years
in the neurology lab at Jerusalem’s Hadassah Hospital,
was murdered with her husband in a drive-by shooting by the Fatah.

Rachel Ben Abu, 16, killed with her teenage friends by a suicide
bomber at the Netanya shopping mall, in July 2005 (in the midst
of a supposed Palestinian truce)

Rachel Shabo, 40, (top right) and three of her sons
were murdered on June 20, 2002 when a Palestinian
terrorist entered the family home and opened fire.
If you want the truth about the evil that Rachel Corrie embraced and the accomplishments of the terrorists she sought to protect, here is a list of other murders by the people Rachel Corrie called her friends.
Finally, I leave you with these words of hope from Naomi Ragen:
Friends,
Who can forget David Hatuel, the young father from Gush Katif whose beautiful wife Tali and four beautiful daughters were murdered in cold blood by a Palestinan terrorist, who opened fire on the pregnant mother and her four little girls, killing them all as they sat in their car?

Tali Hatuel, with her daughters.
As we think back on the events of the Intifada, so many horrors, nevertheless this stands out in our minds as the ultimate expression of barbarity from our enemies, and the ultimate challenge to our strength to continue our lives in the land of our forefathers.
David, quiet, modest, said that he had two choices: To disintegrate and fall, or to live. He chose life. A year ago, he remarried. Today, 37 year-old David holds in his arms another baby girl, born of his second marriage to Limor, an occupational therpist.
This is the ultimate answer we Jews have to give our enemies. This is our secret, why we are still here when so many other peoples have become extinct. It is David Hatuel's answer: choose life. Rebuild.
May God bless him and his wife and child with every blessing known to mankind. May he and his kind flourish and prosper, and give example to the rest of mankind.
And may our enemies, who choose death and destruction, reap what they sow.

Thirty-Nine Hours of Terror, Thirty-Two Years Ago
Long before 911 and long before the 1993 WTC bombing, islam was reigning terror among us:
"A girl came in screaming, 'There are men with guns!' " Ehrlich, 83, recalled. She and others locked themselves in her boss's office, she said. "The next thing we heard were men coming in and saying, 'Unlock the door or we're going to kill you all.' "
They shattered a glass panel in the door and then took everyone downstairs, she said. "When I entered the second floor, there were bodies on top of bodies. I thought everyone was dead," she said.
One of the captors told them that "if anyone does anything wrong, he'll cut their head and throw it out of the window," she recalled.
It happened in our Nation's Capital, Washington D.C. I was 16 years old, and I lived in Brooklyn. Do I remember? No.
The siege started March 9, 1977, at a time when security was still relaxed in government buildings and hostage videos weren't a few clicks away on the Internet. It was before people searched mail for white powder or suicide bombings claimed regular headlines.
"This was an early wake-up call about violence and terrorism and the extent to which groups will go to engage in violence either for the sake of violence or to make a point," Daniel S. Mariaschin, executive vice president of B'nai B'rith International, said yesterday. "Little did we know 30 years ago that this kind of issue would be a daily concern for all of us, not only here in Washington but abroad as well."
The 12 gunmen had several demands. They wanted the government to hand over a group of men who had been convicted of killing seven relatives -- mostly children -- of takeover leader Hamaas Abdul Khaalis. They also demanded that the movie "Mohammad, Messenger of God" be destroyed because they considered it sacrilegious.
Most of the hostages, more than 100, were captured at the B'nai B'rith headquarters.
Thirty-two years before the Gaza war, islam was attacking Jews here on American soil, for percieved insults to its pedophile prophet, led by home-grown islamic terrorists, born right here in the United States of America. A journalist was killed, and Marion Barry was shot in the chest.
Hamaas Abdul Khaalis, formerly known as Ernest T. McGee, joined the Nation of Islam in an attempt to bring the sect into line with orthodox Sunni Islam. By 1956, he had become national secretary. His efforts proved unsuccessful, so in 1958, he broke with Elijah Muhammad and founded the Al-Hanif, Hanafi, Madh-Hob Center, Islam Faith, United States of America, American Mussulmans. Based in Washington DC, the Hanafis still adhere to the basic tenets of Sunni Islam.
On January 5th 1973, Khaalis sent a proclamation to a number of mosques (including Philadelphia's Temple 12) in which he excoriated Elijah Mohammad and the Black Muslims. Calling them "false prophets" and denouncing Elijah Mohammad as "a lying deceiver". On January 17th the Black Mafia crew invaded Khaalis' home. Khaalis was out. Over a period of hours seven members of his family were slaughtered, including four infants between the ages of 9 days and 22 months. The babies were drowned in a bathtub and sink. When one enforcer had qualms and asked another why the babies had to die, the answer was "because the seed of the hypocrite is in them".
Another bloody, painful chapter in American history brought to you by the death cult of islam.

What's that you say?
Hmph. Looks like your average Brit has about had enough.
It happened during a welcome home parade in Luton for the 2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment, known as the Poachers. They've toured Iraq twice in two years. As the soldiers reached Luton Town Hall... the small group of anti-war protestors led by moslems protesting the war... well... what do you suppose happens? Pay attention and you can hear it for yourself...
Yup. Them damm moslem bastards were calling the soldiers "babykillers" and "murderers." Reports were that they were also shouting out "terrorists" and "Anglian Soldiers Go to Hell." Signs said "Butchers of Basra."
So, turns out the soldiers didn't care for that too much, and in return, called them "scum" and shouted back "no surrender to the taleban." But that's to be expected from soldiers.
But what do you expect from the average Brit on the street? Well now. That you have to see for yourself:
Yup. The average Brit stood up for their troops and even got mad enough to run them moslem cowards right off the streets, make them go hide behind the police for protection, yowza! I tell ya, it just does the heart good.
That's quite the Welcome Home Soldiers. Your people did you right!

1933 looms ever closer
During the Great Depression, unemployment was at 25%, and the not so funny thing about that statistic, it was a non-farm job statistic. It didn't include farm workers.
Just the thought of double-digit unemployment is enough to strike panic through the heart and soul of America, and 8.1% unemployment reported last week was enough to send us reeling.
Last month, hundreds slept on the streets of Miami hoping to keep their place in line for a open firefighter's position, and at last week's local community college job fair, they turned away over a thousand hopeful participants.
8.1% national unemployment? Hmph. Here in Florida, they say it's 8.8%, Metro Orlando is reporting 9%, Brevard County is reporting over 9%, in California, they say it's over 10%. and... according to Shadowstats... if we used the same methodology to track unemployment today that we used in 1933... the U.S. unemployment rate would at 19%. Now, take it easy, I know all the controversy that a mere mention of Shadowstats will generate, but before you go off the deep end, there are other things to consider before you run with the 8.1% national average the government claims. Remember, trust... but verify.
So... when it comes to verification of national unemployment numbers, where else do you go but to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, yes? Well, it turns out that BLS releases unemployment statistics under six separate numbered categories every month, U-1 through U-6. U-3 is the Official Unemployment Rate, the 8.1% number the newspapers gave us for February, 2009, which is up from 7.6% in January, and which was up from 7.2 in December, 2008.
But U-3 on it's own ain't much. You see, it doesn't reflect the total unemployed in this country.
U-3 includes only a percentage of the unemployed and it's not immediately clear what that percentage includes. What is clear is that it specifically excludes several categories of unemployed Americans, including those defined as "marginally attached workers" who are persons who currently are neither working nor looking for work but indicate that they want and are available for a job and have looked for work sometime in the recent past, the recent past being defined as 4 weeks. It also specifically excludes "discouraged workers" which are a subset of the marginally attached, those who have given a job-market related reason for not looking currently for a job.
So. What's the real unemployment rate in the United States, the total unemployed? For that, you gotta go to U-6, and it's clear. It's very clear.
If you add everyone in, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the real unemployment rate in this country is currently at 14.8%.
Not quite the 19% that ShadowStat is claiming, but it's far cry from 8.1% claim the government is telling you about and well into the double-digit unemployment we are all so afraid of.

Round and round and round and round
my head is spinning...
The six dialectical contradictions of socialism in the USSR:
- There is full employment - yet no one is working.
- No one is working - yet the factory quotas are fulfilled.
- The factory quotas are fulfilled - yet the stores have nothing to sell.
- The stores have nothing to sell - yet people got all the stuff at home.
- People got all the stuff at home - yet everyone is complaining.
- Everyone is complaining - yet the voting is always unanimous.
but wait! there more...
Economic justice:
- America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
- Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
- They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
- Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
- The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
- They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
and...
in the middle of all that... there's this...
If one were accidentally to open his eyes and compare the "progressive" narrative with facts on the ground, one might start asking questions. Why, for instance, if the war on terror breeds more terrorists, haven't there been attacks on the U.S. soil since 2001? Why, if George W. Bush had removed our freedom of speech, was nobody ever arrested for saying anything? And if Obama has returned us our freedoms, why was a man harassed by police in Oklahoma for having an anti-Obama sign in his car? Why would anyone who supports free speech want to silence talk radio? And why is silencing the opposition called the "Fairness Doctrine"?
After the number of "caring," bleeding-heart politicians in Washington reached a critical mass, it was only a matter of time before the government started ordering banks to help the poor by giving them risky home loans through community organizers. Which resulted in a bigger demand, which resulted in rising prices, which resulted in slimmer chances of repaying the loans, which resulted in more pressure on the banks, which resulted in repackaging of bad loans, which resulted in a collapse of the banks, which resulted in a recession, which resulted in many borrowers losing their jobs, which resulted in no further mortgage payments, which resulted in a financial disaster, which resulted in a worldwide crisis, with billions of poor people overseas - who had never seen a community organizer, nor applied for a bad loan - becoming even poorer than they had been before the "progressives" in the U.S. government decided to help the poor.
As if that were not enough, the same bleeding hearts are now trying to fix this by nationalizing the banks so that they can keep issuing risky loans through community organizers. In other words, to prevent the toast from landing buttered side down, they're planning to butter the toast on both sides and hope that it will hover in mid-air. Which also seems like a sensible alternative energy initiative.
If that doesn't fix the problem, there's always the last resort of a liberal: blame capitalism.
and then... more...
Hollywood cliches:
- Without capitalism there'd be no Hollywood - yet filmmakers hate capitalism.
- Filmmakers hate capitalism - yet they sue for unauthorized copying of their movies.
- They sue for unauthorized copying - yet on screen they teach us to share.
- On screen they teach us to share - yet they keep their millions to themselves.
- They keep their millions to themselves - yet they revel in stories of American misery and depravity.
- They revel in stories of American misery and depravity - yet they blame the resulting anti-American sentiment on conservatism.
- They blame the anti-American sentiment on conservatism - yet conservatism ensures the continuation of a system that makes Hollywood possible.
and...
People's power:
- Liberals believe they're advancing people's power - yet they don't believe people can do anything right without their guidance.
- People can't do anything right - yet the government bureaucracy can do everything.
- The government bureaucracy can do everything - yet liberals don't like it when the government takes control of their lives.
- Liberals don't like it when the government takes control of their lives - yet they vote for programs that increase people's dependency on the government.
- They vote for programs that increase people's dependency on the government - yet they believe they're advancing people's power.
There's lots more where that came from, it's called I have seen the future and I ran away, go read the rest. It's brilliant. Just brilliant.

Overheard at the Office
"Well look at that." I said. "The Dow is now at 1996 levels":

and from down the hall I hear: "Yep. First we got the Clinton cabinet and now we got the Clinton stock market. Things in this country are getting better every day."
So we're moving backwards into our future, huh? Is that what you call progress?

OMG!
Burping Worms May Contribute to Climate Change...
Aquatic animals that feed on lake and stream bottom sediments burp out small amounts of nitrous oxide, a potent greenhouse gas, a new study finds.
Studies of soil-dwelling earthworms had showed that the creepy crawlies emitted nitrous oxide because of the nitrogen-converting microbes they gobbled up into their guts with every mouthful of soil.
sigh.

Quote of the day
concerns the Assault Weapon Ban and comes from Walls of the City:
Just because one of our neighboring nations cannot be bothered to keep their criminal elements in check, our Attorney General and President are proposing limiting the rights of our own law-abiding citizens. Just be cause our government, and the government of that neighboring nation, cannot be bothered to secure the border between our two nations, our Attorney General and President are proposing abridging the rights of our own law-abiding citizens. Just because criminals (in both countries) are doing what criminals do, and breaking the various laws of those countries, our Attorney General and President are proposing infringing on the rights of our own law-abiding citizens.
As hard as I try, I simply cannot get my mind around it. When you listen to the words of AG Holder on the reasoning behind it:
"As President Obama indicated during the campaign, there are just a few gun-related changes that we would like to make, and among them would be to reinstitute the ban on the sale of assault weapons," Holder told reporters.
Holder said that putting the ban back in place would not only be a positive move by the United States, it would help cut down on the flow of guns going across the border into Mexico, which is struggling with heavy violence among drug cartels along the border.
"I think that will have a positive impact in Mexico, at a minimum."
President Obama is doing it for Mexico? He is infringing on our rights to have a positive impact in Mexico? What country is Obama president of? Gee whiz, I thought Obama was elected President of the United States of America, not Mexico. Why the hell would the President of the United States restrict the rights of Americans in order to benefit another country? Whose side is he on anyways?
Here's a thought President Obama. Think about who is carrying those guns across the border in the first place. They are criminals President Obama, who broke our laws sneaking into this country and once here, they are the ones who break the guns laws we already have. It's time to close the border President Obama, and enforce our immigration laws. Get those criminals out of here and back to Mexico where they belong. Make it impossible for illegals to live here, and work here. Make it impossible for them to find housing, food, medical care, and schooling for their children. Fine their employers, confiscate the properties from people who rent to them. Guess what? They will leave. If they are found guilty of a crime, do not jail them, deport them. According to your gloom and doom speeches, unemployment is up and it's going to get worse, you keep saying Americans are desperate for work, well then, President Obama, why not let Americans do the jobs these parasites are doing now. It's time to take care of our own President Obama, and to let Mexico take care of their own.
And... for those of you who look for the good in the bad, well, as Walls of the City points out, the dems on the hill are likely having a few sleepless nights over this, after all, they lost a lot of seats in 1994 over the AWB and mid-term elections will be here before we know it. No wonder Nancy Pelosi is dead set against the Ban. I guess she's not quite as dumb as rocks after all.
I recommend you read the rest of the post at Walls of the City. There's a lot of good info and some excellent points made. I found him via What Bubba Knows, another most excellent site that I'm happy to recommend.
