Something... and Half of Something: What's that you say?

What's that you say?

Hmph. Looks like your average Brit has about had enough.

It happened during a welcome home parade in Luton for the 2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment, known as the Poachers. They've toured Iraq twice in two years. As the soldiers reached Luton Town Hall... the small group of anti-war protestors led by moslems protesting the war... well... what do you suppose happens? Pay attention and you can hear it for yourself...

Yup. Them damm moslem bastards were calling the soldiers "babykillers" and "murderers." Reports were that they were also shouting out "terrorists" and "Anglian Soldiers Go to Hell." Signs said "Butchers of Basra."

So, turns out the soldiers didn't care for that too much, and in return, called them "scum" and shouted back "no surrender to the taleban." But that's to be expected from soldiers.

But what do you expect from the average Brit on the street? Well now. That you have to see for yourself:

Yup. The average Brit stood up for their troops and even got mad enough to run them moslem cowards right off the streets, make them go hide behind the police for protection, yowza! I tell ya, it just does the heart good.

That's quite the Welcome Home Soldiers. Your people did you right!

It's important Linda to point this out, an entire generation of Americans were treated the same way, not by moo slimes but by americans. The damage has been done to their image, their standing in society and their valor has been stolen.

Soon we'll have the same thing here from moo slimes. Where? Minnesota and Michigan are candidates as are some parts of Florida.Terrorists are terrorists, not absolving any guilty religious factions either.

This video has been banned by the PC Brits when they should pay attention to the sacrifices their military have made.

The sacrifice of Sergeant Michael G. Willets, 27, 3 Para.
On the evening of the 25th May 1971 an IRA terrorist entered the reception hall of Springfield Road Police station in Belfast. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVb3uWL0-gU

now that is a wonderful sight to see!
The British people are finally starting to tire of the horrible concepts forced upon them by their Liberal leaders.

I pray that they will be able to continue.

We may find the opinions objectionable but we must protect their rights to free speech.

Curly--while this was Merry Old England, your point on the rights to free speech here is apt. However, I think the reaction was about right. The protesters said what they wanted to, the crowd reacted, and the police prevented physical harm to the protesters. Seems as though everyone's rights (and safety) were respected here. Textbook way to do it.

Good for the normal Englishmen! (And possibly one of the best welcome homes that the troops could have gotten. I know that if I had been one of the troops, I would have preferred to see the crowd do what it did than be in an uneventful parade.)

I totally disagree, those heathens should have had their fucking skulls cracked. Not by the do nothing cops but by the troops themselves.

I know what those soldier felt, I heard the same things 40 years ago. It is easy for the 'less then honorable' citizen of any country to demean those who by their own choices defend and support their country. Ever have the cowards hated the brave, the patriot, the true citizen.
It is hard not to feel pity for those who support the very terrorists who would happily kill them, if not for the ones who stand and deliver in the face of terrorism and its mindless hate. Those who hate their country that much ought to get a free airplane ride to the coutnry of their choice!
