Can't comment on Heinlein, but Kipling said (or wrote): "The female of the species is more deadly than the male."

And as for the video, the background music is twice as mocking as the narrator's voice.

Yes those are some hot ladies and that bloke narrator sure shows his scorn for them, wonder who protected his press exempt whiny butt.
Better believe they are tough, giving life isn't their only talent, they can and will take it as well. I'd wager at over 60 some of them still more than hold their own in a fight.

Entering a ville early one morning after a night of abject misery, there in the wire outside the gate were three of their own villagers, young men, glaring examples to all in the village of what happens to the VC amongst them when outed, questioning the natives we found that it was the women of that village who took care of the problem threatening their security, it was their display in the concertina, dirt poor farmers, they had only old men and themselves for their home defense and no formal weapons.
I served with my first female soldier in '74, a non combatant at the time and I'll put that lady up against any man anywhere. Heck, just ask that male blackwidow spider about the fairer sex, or a praying mantis. :) Give 'em hell ladies.

Thanks, Linda. Isn't it interesting to contrast the "Woodstock girls ('69)" with the "IDF girls ('62)"? By the time the American girls were getting naked and smoking dope in New York, many of these IDF girls had endured the Six Days War -- hell, by now they are in their 60's and have endured numerous terrorist actions and wars. Some may have died serving their country, some may have lost children serving in the IDF, and almost certainly, these free-spirited IDf women have known more than 1 Jew killed by Muslem violence... sobering thoughts.

But, yes, in '62 they certainly were HOT looking babes! ;-)

REally a great video. I take the mocking music and scornful narrators tone in stride. These women later proved thier metal when Israel won back it's territory. the odd bit of skin here and there did nothing to reduce my respect. After all ladies gotta change out and relax on a hot day sometime. I salute IDF.
