Meet Sheldon Whitehouse

He's the Democrat Senator from Rhode Island and he once complained about Republican tax cuts, claiming "They’re creating massive deficits that can only be paid back through taxes. Americans are sophisticated enough to see the total economic picture. I think a lot of Americans say, “If I get a $300 tax rebate but my kids end up owing $150,000 each to pay for the deficits, that’s not a good deal economically for my family.”

Of course, Senator Whitehouse voted yes for the Stimulus Bill, and as a result, our children owe a heck of a lot more than $150,000 each, the deficit is in the trillions, but the good Senator doesn't seem bothered by that at all.

Well, you might be tempted to write Senator Whitehouse a note about the hypocrisy of his previous statement and his vote on the Stimulus Bill, or one of his other positions on the issues that effect this nation. After all, the government is elected by the people, for the people, and Senator Whitehouse but is a public servant. The people of the United States of America have the right to express our opinions to our leaders in Congress concerning their positions on issues that face our Nation and one of the ways we do that is in writing.

However, when it comes to Senator Whitehouse, a little warning is in order, since it would appear that Senator Whitehouse has a way of dealing with citizens who disagree with him:

Yesterday, as a result of one of my letters, I was paid a visit by the Joint Terrorism Task Force of the FBI. One Senator, Sheldon Whitehouse, reported to the FBI that he felt I was endangering the government and should be investigated as a suspected terrorist. This after every single one my letters was sent through the official website of the government, and contained all of my personally identifying information and was specifically stated as advising each U. S. Senator that I was offering political opinion about pending legislation, or governmental policy.

Apparently, as this left leaning Congress assaults our rights on a daily basis, they are now resorting to reporting dissenters to their policies to the FBI, under the guise of terrorist threats. Since when did expressing a p0litical opinion, or disagreeing with the passage of Socialist bills in the legislature become terrorist in nature? I have specifically objected vehemently to the TARP, TALC, Economic Recovery Act, Omnibus Spending Bill, President Obama's 3.6 trillion dollar budget, cap and trade, and every other anti capitalist bill put forth in the 111th Congress.

The FBI agent was very polite and respectful. He explained why I had been targeted and by whom, Senator Whitehouse...

Go read the rest, and the commentary. The writer posts the letter he wrote to Whitehouse that prompted the Senator to report him as a terrorist threat. This appears to be legit, and if it is, it's downright disturbing.

I wish I could laugh at it, but I can't.

If I could be granted one wish, just one wish, it would be that each and every election at mid-term would see the incumbent defeated, kicked out, gone, bye. Every one, every single one. Voter enforced term limits.

Sheldon Whitehouse. The S&W are reversed Linda, It's really Wheldon Shitehouse. His pappy Husseinie has back doored a repressive new CZAR just for the likes of us conservative DHS identified terrorists. The long tentacles of Socialist-Communist pogroms are here. We have become the Democratic Republic of the United States, we have our Geheime Staatspolizei, the Sicherheitsdienst will answer directly to his Reichssicherheitshauptamt and Herr Hussein, not to Homeland security, how silly of us to think otherwise. His personal and party Schutzstaffel members like Sheldon Whitehouse are there to enforce his rule through their new legislations. ACORN will be his foot soldiers, snooping and spying, he'll have his youth corps living inside every home to inform on your most intimate thought and actions. Barack even resembles Rudolf Diels.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

It isn't only Congress folks, it's the president. Congress is acceding to his wishes, no different than that judge legislating from the bench. Both are usurping their power. But the worst of it all, both houses of Congress aren't representing you and I, they're representing themselves and the president for totalitarian rule. There's more at stake than just a few religious factions or conservative factions and dissenters, we all have bulls eyes painted on us.

Thanks for the info Linda.

The same party in power during and after WWII is now asking for intercession in Korea from the very body they created, it begs the historical question of what, when and why was Korea originally partitioned and the UN formed to enforce it? Not that phony armistice event of July 27, 1953. The reasons are there, then and now, if anyone gives a shit to research the facts. Yep!! It was Bush's fault!!!

Why thank you Linda. It's so hard to find self serving arrogant democrat pricks these days, everything being so wonderful and all.

Term limits won't be the complete answer. These parasites will just move to a new jurisdiction and run for office again, as has happened here. Also, Washington State voters approved an initiative on term limits years ago and the incumbents, led by then Speaker of the House Tom Foley, sued the State on Constitutional grounds and won. Angered voters disposed of him at the next election. We need more angered voters and I'm sure we'll get them, unfortunately.

Repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments. Better yet just get back to the original first 10, everything after that has been 'progressive'.

This is very disturbing indeed, that we have people of whome are supposed to represent us are now resorting to hunting us down because we view their actions as utterly reckless. Whats the stopping point for this orwealian nuttiness?
