Obamessiah

No more beating around the bush, now they just plain say it:

That's Newsweek editor Evan Thomas, first calling President Reagan "parochial, chauvinist and provincial," and then declaring on MSNBC: "I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God."

I saw that at Ace of Spades and all I could think was, stop the damm planet, I wanna get off.

WTF is happening to this country?

UPDATE:

Good Lord. Even John Stewart is choking on it. Wait for the last line...

Stupid bastard. That people can think that way just astounds me.

I don't usually care for Stewart but boy--he really nailed that one. Williams is a major Obama Suck up.

I cringed when I saw him bow "Goodnight"
to teh one.

Stewarts last line: Priceless as well
as so damn true.

"Welcome to Cribs, yo!"

That line was my favorite.

The collective loss of brain cells in that clusterfuckup is only exceeded by the mountain of debt these tools have strapped America with.

The sad part is, most Americans eat that shit up.

If NBC/MSNBC continues with their fawning, "teen-agers in love" gropefest with the "resident-in-chief; will it become a "common law marriage after seven years? (Assuming Teh One either cons the people, or out-in-out, takes another term for himself.)

And not a big fan of Stewart, but this skewering was worth a giggle or two. Had he a set of real stones, he would have inserted "The Fresh Prez of Bill Ayers" in there either right before, or right after, the Crib remark.
