Gun and Ammo Found on US Airways Plane at PHL Airport
Two people, including a US Airways employee, were being questioned on Thursday morning after authorities at Philadelphia International Airport found a handgun and ammunition on a flight bound for Arizona. Charges were expected to be filed.
According to preliminary information from investigators, someone waiting for a flight saw another passenger hand a bag to a US Airways employee who may have been authorized to bypass the security screening line. The airline employee then handed the bag back to the second passenger, and the witness reported the incident to the TSA.
The 7:15am flight, which was already taxiing out for departure, was called back and searched.
The bag was located on the plane and found to contain an unloaded 9mm handgun and ammunition. The gun and the bag were confiscated, and the passenger and the US Airways employee were taken into custody for questioning.
The rest of the plane was searched as a precaution.The FBI, Philadelphia police, and the TSA were continuing to investigate.
Pennsylvania huh? Probably Amish, you know how extremist they can be.

I haven't flown in 14 years Linda, I went from an every Wednesday flight for 19 years to zero, I no longer have to put up with the domestic terrorist shakedowns at the airport screening gate by foreign employees who can't even speak English, or the Barny Fife syndrome of the frigging rent a cop wannabe's running amok inside and outside the terminal who can't pass muster in the real police force.
How many passengers have been intimidated and had their privacy violated only because of their age and infirmities at the screening gates? When the record shows that the extremists are between the ages of 17 and 35, are of middle Eastern descent or are black indoctrinates to the death cult. Government controls as always protect the guilty and punish the innocent. TSA investigating??? Where are the periodic preemptive checks on terminal employees? The Airlines don't own the Airports, it's those parasites (Cities and City Managers) that steal the taxes, who 'own' them and it is they who hire the thugs. Personally I'd trust the thugs over those managers, managers have no morals and we know what to expect from the thugs. I don't trust either.
Legitimate weapons can be declared, checked and shipped in the baggage compartment by passengers, yes I have done it!!! A real pain in the ass but done legitimately, there is no legitimate reason to smuggle any weapon past screeing. One flight carried a new "in the box" rifle in the cockpit with the flight crew, for me as I didn't have a protective box for the hold. This was before TSA went Dickhead on us and we have the likes of Obama and Napolitano in charge. I was going to say Fuck'em all, I just did!!!
