Gosh but I just love Texans

here's one more reason why:

That's the CUFI Cornerstone Singers. Awesome stuff, especially around 1:35, the originality and Texas joy of life comes shining through. I was bouncing in my chair!

and thanks to The Old Man for finding it! You're right, it is so freakin' cool!

I loved it! I wanted to get up and dance, very nice! Who was on the fiddle? Is he the same actor as the one in "A Fish Called Wanda"?

I thought the Texas version was;

"Have a Tequila,
Have a Tequila,
Have a Tequila with salt and a little bit a lime."

I've always loved that song, even before I fell in luvz with Jewish wimminzez.

As the group Alabama sang, "you can't have a band in Texas without a fiddle".

Forest - are you thinking of John Cleese? He also starred in Fawlty Towers, my fav Brit comedy.

I remember back in 1993 this pretty dark haired girl came into my pub and (in a deep southern drippy accent) said "I'll have'a glass'a iced tea"...been married to that little Texas sweetheart going on seventeen years now.
