Castro Sucks up to the EU
From today's Miami Herald:
The Cuban government released at least three political prisoners in a move widely viewed as a ploy to smooth strained relations with the European Union.
Experts said the action may provide Spain with an opportunity to lobby neighboring heads of state to soften their stance on Fidel Castro's government when the EU Council meets in Brussels in mid-December.
"It's obvious that it's a result of behind-the-scenes negotiations or exchange of conditions," said Joaquín Roy, director of the University of Miami's European Union Center.
This brings to mind that jackass Jimmy Carter who went to Cuba and played baseball with Castro, who could not be bothered to visit or or even inquire after the health and well being of American Walter Van der Veer, imprisoned in Cuba since 1997.
For Jimmy Carter, and Fidel Castro, I have two words: Fuck you!
FREE WALTER!!
Walter is an American citizen, abandoned by his country, sentenced to 15 years of hell in a Cuban prison, forgotten by everyone but his family.
Don't mention Walter's name to the "brave and honorable Cuban Exiles" here in South Florida, for they don't like to be reminded that they too have abandoned Walter and left him to a fate worse than death.

Islamic Status Quo
Nothing has changed. Say what you will about Islam and Muslims and peace on earth, nothing can dispute the words of their leaders. Under the title "Bin Laden aide vows to continue U.S. fight" CNN reports on the content of Bin Laden's latest message via Zawahiri's latest rant, as shown on Al-Jazeera. Buried in the article is this:
Both U.S. candidates, he said, were fighting over "the acceptance of Israel. This proves there is no reasoning with America, but to force them to accept our position by force."
In addition, al-Zawahiri criticized Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf for his acceptance of Israel as demonstrated in a September speech to the U.N. General Assembly.
The message under the message, the one no one will talk about: Islam is angry because America "accepts" Israel. Islam is angry because Egypt "accepts" Israel. Why? Because Islam does not accept Israel. If you want to make peace with Islam, help Islam destroy Israel.
We know how ready Europe is to appease Islam. But, sadly, even in the United States of America, there are far too many people, about 59 million at last count, who would be happy to throw Israel to the lions with the hope that the lion will eat them last.

Anniversary of Resolution 181
Anniversary of the UN vote on Resolution 181
This BlogBurst piece is cross-posted by participating websites, to commemorate a milestone in Israel's history.
The list of the participating sites is appended at the end of this post.

Today is the anniversary of the UN vote on resolution 181, which approved the partition of the western part Palestine into a predominately Jewish state and a predominately Arab state.
(It is vital to recall that the UN partition plan referred to western Palestine, to underscore that in 1921 the eastern part was ripped off the Jewish National Home by the British Government and handed over to the then Emir Abdullah.)
The partition plan was approved by 33 to 13, with 10 abstentions.
The 33 countries that cast the “Yes” vote were: Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Byelorussia, Canada, Costa Rica, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Guatemala, Haiti, Iceland, Liberia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Sweden, Ukraine, Union of South Africa, USSR, USA, Uruguay, Venezuela. (Among other countries, the list includes the US, the three British Dominions, all the European countries except for Greece and the UK, but including all the Soviet-block countries.)
The 13 countries that chose the Hall of Shame and voted “No” were: Afghanistan, Cuba, Egypt, Greece, India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, Yemen. (Ten of these are Moslem countries; Greece has the special distinction of being the only European country to have joined the Hall of Shame.)
The ten countries that abstained are: Argentina, Chile, China, Colombia, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Honduras, Mexico, United Kingdom, Yugoslavia.
On November 30, 1947, the day following the vote, the Palestinian Arabs murdered six Jews in a bus making its way to Jerusalem, and proceeded to murder another Jew in the Tel-Aviv - Jaffa area. This was a prelude to a war that claimed the lives of 6,000 Jews, or 1% of the total Jewish population in 1948. This toll is the per capita equivalent of today’s Canada losing 300,000 lives, or the US losing 3,000,000.
The object of the war, launched by the Arabs in the former Palestine and the armies of Egypt, Tansjordan, Syria and Lebanon (with help from other Arab countries), was to "throw the Jews into the sea". As the partition map indicates, however, rather than annihilate the Jewish population, the Arabs ended up with less territory than they would have gained by peaceful means.
In addition to the bloodshed in nascent Israel, immediately after the UN vote, Arabs attacks their Jewish neighbours in a number of Arab countries, the murders in Syria’s Aleppo being the best known.
Bruised and bleeding, Israel prevailed nonetheless. May our sister-democracy thrive and flourish.

Let There Be Rain - Right Rain!
In its own words, The Umbrella Movement calls itself "a grassroots organization dedicated to the proposition that the Right is WRONG. We believe that the extreme right has led our country in a direction endangering our basic American freedoms, liberty, and democracy. We've banded together to educate, energize, and mobilize the public."
Their senior advisor is none other than Ed Asner and he was here in Sunny Isle Beach, Florida to speak at the Umbrella Movement's Inaugural Conference and Membership Meeting on November 21, 2004.
South Florida ProtestWarrior was there. Our Mission: to counteract the Umbrella Movement with a deluge of the truth... Right Rain poured down on the umbrella movement! Yes, we captured the event on video and Operation Right Rain is now available for viewing at the SoFla ProtestWarrior Website. Highlights include Ed Asner calling me a nazi, and one leftist voicing her desire to see the return of Saddam Hussien to power. She later tried to physically attack one of our members.
If only the left would look at themselves, see who they really are and understand the ignorance they project to the world. Are they proud? Do they wonder why 61 million Americans rejected them and their ideas, values and stupidity? You bet they do!
President Bush is in the White House for another four years, I wish they would get used to it!

Fightin’ Words
You media pansies may squeal and may squirm,
But a fightin’ man knows that the way to confirm,
That some jihadist bastard truly is dead,
Is a brain-tappin’ round fired into his head.
To hell with some wienie with his journalist degree
Safe away from the combat, tryin’ to tell me,
I should check him for breathin,’ examine his eyes.
Nope, I’m punchin’ his ticket to Muj paradise.
To hell with you wimps from your Ivy League schools,
Sittin’ far from the war tellin’ me about rules
And preachin’ to me your wrong-headed contention
That I should observe the Geneva Convention,
Which doesn’t apply to a terrorist scum
So evil and cruel their own people run from,
Cold-blooded killers who love to behead,
Shove that mother’ Geneva, I’m leavin’ em dead.
You slick talkingheads may preach, preen and prattle,
But you’re damn well not here in the thick of the battle.
It’s chaotic, confusin’ it all comes at you fast,
So it’s Muj checkin’ out because I’m going to last.
Yeah, I’ll last through this fight and send his ass away
To his fat ugly virgins while I’m still in play.
If you journalist wienies think that’s cold, cruel and crass,
Then pucker up sweeties, kiss a fightin’ man’s ass.

Another Proud Day in UN History
The United Nations is investigating about 150 allegations of sexual abuse by its staff and soldiers in the Congo. The charges include accusations of pedophilia, rape and prostitution, some of which have been recorded on videotape.
"I am afraid there is clear evidence that acts of gross misconduct have taken place," said Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
Although it promises a full investigation and to hold those involved accountable, the fact is that the UN has never been open or honest and has been known to ignore evidence in the past – including accusations of rape and murder by "peacekeepers."
Look on the bright side Kofi: at least no one was forced to wear panties on their heads. Now that would be an outrage!

Kos Bridge Revisited
The Green Side has a letter from the front detailing the battle for Fallujah. At the end, the author, Marine LtCol Dave Bellon, mentions some writing he encountered:
On the Fallujah side of the bridge where the Americans were hung there is some Arabic writing on the bridge. An interpreter translated it for me as we walked through. It read: "Long Live the Mujahadeen. Fallujah is the Graveyard for Americans and the end of the Marine Corps."
Maybe that explains this:
A US marine from the 3/5 Lima company stands in front of graffiti scribbled on the bridge crossing the Euphrates River in the restive city of Fallujah,14 November 2004, 50 kms west of Baghdad.

The bridge became famous after the murder of US security officers, at the end of March 2004, when their charred bodies were displayed on the bridge.
Apparently, the bridge is now known as the "Kos Bridge," probably due to disrespectful remarks Kos made concerning the Blackwater "mercenaries" at the time of their death.

I Hate America by Chris Hedges
The American Spectator reports that Chris Hedges, of the New York Times, gave a speech at the annual conference of the Association of Opinion Page Editors. In that speech, he blasted his own paper for its failure to be sufficiently anti-American:
"We're absolutely reviled around the world, as we should be," Hedges said. "Our only friends are war criminals"--a reference, he explained, to Ariel Sharon and Vladimir Putin.
America's amoral, bloodthirsty ways and the hate they generate would be much plainer to the American people, Hedges said, if only so many journalists weren't "trapped" by the government's war clichés and oriented to a Washington-centric view of the world. This group, he said, included his bosses at the Times.
"There was absolutely no interest in my newspaper in presenting the views of the French" as the U.S. moved toward war in Iraq, Hedges said. Instead, there was lots of guffawing over anti-French jokes, which he termed "racist."
Jeepers. Imagine that! I had no idea that the NY Times would be so anti-french that any warm and mushy, human rights loving, caring and sharing liberal would consider it a hostile work environment.
What is this country coming to?

The World's Dirty Little Secret
I've been behind in my reading and I almost missed this.
Mother Teresa never got anything like this. Albert Schweitzer never rated this riot of adoration, as did that pervert named Yasser Arafat.
Leaders from around the world paid him homage. Kings, presidents and prime ministers ripped their clothes in sorrow over his passing.
The United Nations lowered its flag. There is talk of naming a street after him somewhere in France.
Why do the nations grieve? In here there is a secret that dare not speak its name, but let's have it out.
Someone has got to tell it like it is, and I will take that risk.
They grieve for the man who was their number one killer of Jews. That's it in a nutshell. They lost Hitler and had nowhere to turn, until along came Arafat. They fed him billions of dollars each year, the nations did, to keep to the task, not to build, but to destroy, namely, Israel.
Read the rest. It is most excellent.

Shopping Iranian Style
How stupid is this?
A 27 year old Iranian woman is the youngest of three woman married to a 67 year old man (in Iran, the legal limit on wives is four). So, anyways... this wife splurges on a pair of boots, to the tune of $450.00. The other two wives get jealous and an argument ensued. The only resolution the three of them can come up with is that all three of them will commit suicide.
"My two other wives were very jealous after my 27-year-old wife bought a pair of boots for $450," the husband was quoted as saying by the ISNA student news agency.
"After they had an argument about the price, they all attempted suicide together," he added.
All three women, now in stable condition in the hospital, have separate apartments and cars.
To tell the truth, I don't whether to laugh or cry at the outcome. Consider the pollution of the gene pool if they start to reproduce.

It was the Jooos!!
We tried to keep it quiet but the ever-so-smart people at the Islamic Sydney forums have discovered our secret: the US presidential election was rigged. That's right! The voting machines were controlled by the evil Zionists!
- Diebold, Sequoia, and Election System & Software (ES&S) are three private companies that counted US votings. They are exclusively Zionist Jewish-owned/controlled. Two of these companies are owned by two brothers, Bob and Todd Urosevich .
- Americans can do and vote in their meaningless process as much as they like, as long as the Zionists get to announce the computer voting results!
Jeepers. What evil act will we think of next? Hmmm...
- This electronic voting system allows anyone with access to the machines to add and delete votes without detection,
- This sophisticated electronic voting technology depends on concealment and secrecy and public oversight.
- Integrity of this electrinic voting system is unchallenged and unscrutinised, being controlled by few large corporations.
But wait! There's more! There's always more!
- This election voting process even got these Russian observers shocked!
Controlling elections and shocking russians too?!?! Oy! [insert evil laugh]
But never fear, those ever-so-smart Sydney Muslims were also smart enough to think of the perfect punishment: "May every Zionist be cut-off at the elbows and develop a lifelong itch in their shorts that they're not able to scratch... damn them all.... "
Indeed!
Here is some breaking news for the Muslims... George W. Bush is still in the White House, Arafat is still dead and Israel still lives on.

A double standard too glaring to ignore
"A Double Standard Too Glaring to Ignore"
Jane Novak, Arab News 11.20.04
What a glaring double standard.
The Arab world is enraged over the shooting of a wounded, unarmed Iraqi insurgent by a uniformed US soldier.
There is no similar outrage for Margaret Hassan. Is it because she was an Anglo, a woman, or because a Muslim killed her? The video of the soldier shooting is proof, we are told, of America's evil. And the kidnapping, torture and murder of Mrs. Hassan is then proof of what? That America is evil! Muslims wouldn't do that unless evil America forced their hand?
Bombing children, defiling mosques, kidnapping civilians, executing poor workers and cleaning out women -- these are not discussed or broadcast with frequency, or invoke much anger. Videos where a masked man shakes a bloody head while the curtains flutter do not evoke such fury. Why? The identity of the victim or the perpetrator? All tactics of the insurgents are excused.
Hide among civilians. Justified. Wear civilian clothes. Justified. Shoot from a mosque. Justified. Feign death to draw soldiers in (the way one Marine died the day before the incident). Justified. Wave a white flag as a ploy. Justified. Booby-trap dead bodies. Justified. That's just Fallujah.
Moving outward -- Deliberately killing Iraqi civilians daily. Justified. Bombing churches. Justified. Bombing cafes. Justified. Using schools and mosques as arsenals. Justified. Attacking the police. Just fine. The rules of war don't apply to the insurgents, only to the Americans. And if one horrible act occurs at the hands of one American soldier, the world howls. The insurgents' constant inhumane tactics are acceptable.
The American rules of engagement prohibited shooting unarmed combatants. This prohibition was followed by thousands of soldiers, thousands of times. After the shootout at the mosque in which the man was wounded, a call went to headquarters to send a medical team out to pick him up. It is American policy that wounded fighters are given good medical attention. Many are being treated now. A wounded American soldier found by the enemy fighters would be tortured to death after being paraded on Al-Jazeera. And that would be fine. The last war in which Middle East militaries fought was the Iran-Iraq war and executions were systematic. That was fine.
Al-Jazeera, marketing arm for anti-Americanism globally, is showing the shooting nearly nonstop. Yet they refused to show the last tape of Margaret begging for her life because it was "too disturbing." How bad of a shape was she in? Is that why her bruised and battered body is still alone and unrecovered? They refused to show her execution because shooting this good woman in the head was not a "war death," although it was carried out by those the US military are fighting. Broadcasting terrorists' messages to inspire fear in the Iraqi people is thought impartial journalism. Al-Jazeera has been suspended numerous times for acting as a tool of the jihadis.
Why so little regard for Iraqi civilians when they are killed by Muslims but when an unarmed fighter is killed by an American soldier, the Arabs suddenly love the Iraqis? It is too perplexing to consider that Arabs expect a higher standard of humanity from Americans than they do from themselves.
The soldier will be tried. The facts will come out. A punishment will be issued because the US has respect for the Iraqis and enforces the rules of engagement.
If the soldier was wrong, Americans will say he was wrong, loud and clear. Americans themselves will demand punishment for him. Tomorrow when Iraqi children are again deliberately targeted by these terrorists -- not "freedom fighters"-- what will we hear from the Arab countries? Not even muted mumbling. Is it a lack of courage or a lack of concern? Why is there so [much] more sympathy for the fighter in civilian clothes who was shooting from a mosque than for Margaret? For the insurgents than for the civilians? For the terrorists than the police?
Elections are coming to Iraq. The Iraqis will rule themselves. Saddam stole $21 billion from the mouths of starving Iraqi children. The UN closed its eyes. He filled mass graves and torture chambers and the world stood silent. Now as the Iraqis struggle for self-determination, for security, and for freedom from both the US and the terrorists, the Arabs back the suicide bombers. For years, some Iraqis may harbor deep resentment toward the US for its mistakes. The successes of the insurgents, all those dead civilians, will be remembered with anger by many.
Perhaps the greatest number will recall how they were not valued by their "brothers" and were quickly forsaken in the greater cause of anti-Americanism.

Supporting Violence and Terrorism
WESPAC, a “Peace and Justice Action Network” in White Plains, New York, is trying to raise money to display an “art exhibition” titled Made in Palestine.
The exhibition features art made in Palestine, including atrocities such as this painting depicting Ariel Sharon collecting and boiling blood from a Palestinian child, and this exhibit, glorifying Palestinian mass murderers.
From the official introduction to this artistic hatefest:
To several of the artists, the subject of the martyrs is an all-important topic. A true martyr is anyone who gives his life in service of his people, including the rock-throwing children and suicide bombers that attack Israeli civilians.
Much of the commentary/descriptions of the so-called art are as offensive and anti-semetic as the art itself. Many museums in the greater New York area have refused to host this show which has already been hosted at the Station Museum in Houston, Texas from May to October, 2003. You can write the WESPAC to protest any further exhibition of these atrocities but it won't do any good. They are all about peace and justice, remember?

National Ammo Day!
November 19 is National Ammo Day.
It is a nationwide BUYcott of ammunition. You buy ammunition. 100 Rounds a person.
The goals of Ammo Day:
The goal of National Ammo Day is to empty the ammunition from the shelves of your local gun store, sporting goods, or hardware store and put that ammunition in the hands of law-abiding citizens. Make your support of the Second Amendment known--by voting with your dollars!
There are an estimated 75 MILLION gun owners in the United States of America. If each gun owner or Second Amendment supporter buys 100 rounds of ammunition, that's 7.5 BILLION rounds in the hands of law-abiding citizens!
Let the politicians, the gun-grabbers, and the international community know that America is proud of its Right to Bear Arms and we will not be disarmed.
The gun/ammunition manufacturers have been taking the brunt of all the frivolous lawsuits brought by the gun-grabbers. These gun-grabbers are trying to put these folks out of business. Well, not if we can help it! And we CAN help it by buying ammunition on November 19!

Getting Older. Yup.
I wish to know the secrets
that are shared amongst the trees
the nonsense that is whispered
as the wind slips through the leaves
talk of days that have long past
and of the days to come
if such knowledge were mine to know
then together, with the wind, I'd run.
I long to raise my voice into the wind
let it carry on the breeze
to find my one and only love
let the hurt, at last, be eased
I fear the passage of my days
I fear this song will remain unsung
alas, tomorrow I'll be older
but today, I am still young.

Kevin Sites - AntiWar Activist
What happens when you send an anti-war activist to Iraq with our Marines? You get an ordinary war time incident blown out of proportion and presented in such a way that a good soldier ends up accused of war crimes.
One of our fighting men has come under 'investigation' for shooting a terrorist who was pretending to be dead in a mosque. Of course, the media is spinning this as a 'shooting of a wounded, unarmed Iraqi.' Fact is that this was a terrorist playing dead, hoping one of our troops would get close enough to kill or hoping to escape to kill other soldiers. Instead, this Marine killed the enemy.
As we took Fallujah back from the terrorists, several of our Marines who approached the supposed dead or wounded terrorists were themselves wounded or killed. This Marine was in a situation where he felt he was in danger and his fellow soldiers were in danger. This is war and this Marine did his duty.
FACT: Kevin Sites is an anti-war activist. His pictures are proudly displayed as part of a "visual statement against war" on "Images Against War," whose name speaks for itself.
In his search for fame and fortune, and the ever elusive Pulitzer Prize, Kevin Sites has become a traitor and an enemy to the United States of America. He has distorted the truth for his own benefit and in doing so, he has endangered the lives of all of our soldiers, not only in Iraq but everywhere.
I urge you to contact the DOD, the White House, your congressional representatives and the USMC to express your support for this brave Marine. We must speak out to overcome the leftist media before they turn this into another abu Ghraib.
Department of Defense: 703-428-0711

USMC Public Relations: 703-614-1492

And write that Anti-American bastard Kevin Sites too at kevin@kevinsites.net and let him know what you think of him.
Semper Fi and Bless our Marines!!
UPDATE: In April of 2003, while working for CNN in Iraq, Kevin Sites and his crew were allegedly kidnapped by "The Iraqi Fedayeen -- Saddam's loyal Baath Party militiamen" and were "harassed and stripped of their broadcast gear before they were let go outside Tikrit in northern Iraq."
In light of recent events, it makes me wonder what the terms of his release were.

Never Shake Hands With A Peacenik
Peace is good
Peace is great
That's why we must masturbate
Yeah. You read that right. Masturbate for Peace. An idea whose time has come (pun intended). Yep. Gotta love this: "Side with France, reach down your pants."
"There's no greater antidote for war than love. Feelings of hatred and distrust form the necessary basis of armed confrontation. Replace those negative feelings with love and you're halfway towards resolution of any conflict.
You can't love others without loving yourself first. And, of course, masturbation is the greatest expression of self-love. So it's natural that we, the citizens of the world, are joining together to masturbate for peace.
As we begin with this act of self-love, we encourage others to do the same, to take pleasure in life and to share masturbation's positive energy with a world in need."
But wait! There's more!
Oh how I wish I would have thought of that, what a great way to keep 'em off the streets! Oh my.

Obstructing Justice - UN Style
The UN is up to its usual shenanigans, hiding corruption and theft, and protecting the flow of cash to the dictators within.
“I’m angry that we find the U.N. proactively interfering with our investigation, by telling certain folks not to cooperate with us.” Senator Norm Coleman, chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations.
Coleman repeated for emphasis his sharp response to Secretary General Kofi Annan’s “interfering with our ability to get information we need” about the oil-for-food scandal.
Coleman, together with Carl Levin, sent a letter noting Annan’s four-month foot-dragging and that “the U.N. is hindering our efforts to obtain relevant documents.”
If legislative investigators were prosecutors, the name of the game Annan and his enablers are playing would be called “obstruction of justice.”
I suppose Kofi is too busy drafting a new resolution against Israel to be bothered with such a petty matter.

I Remember
This very excellent essay was originally posted on The International War Veterans Poetry Archives, "a living and growing memorial, dedicated to all warriors who paid the supreme sacrifice for their Country during all occasions where, whilst wearing the uniform of their country, they were placed in harm’s way."
It is a very special place.
"I Remember" was written by my 'sista' up in the northern end of the county. Terri, thank you for allowing me to share it here.
I remember, as a small child, my birthday parties. I can’t remember one, that there wasn’t at least one family member there in uniform. Any branch, take your pick.
I remember a dress saber that hung on the wall and I knew that I was never to touch it. And I didn’t.
I remember my great uncle Joe, who served in ‘Patton’s Army,’ returning to Germany after the war and bringing home beautiful little organdy dresses for me and my sister because ‘we were his favorite nieces.’ I also remember the day he brought home his new German wife.
I remember my great uncle Lou, who didn’t want to talk too much about Bastogne, so we didn’t.
I remember my most cherished possessions back then; my Davey Crockett jacket and coon skin hat.
I remember marching up and down our street, with the boys, with a fake rifle slung over my shoulder… because I’d just as soon ‘play Army’ than play with dolls.
I remember my grandfather, who put his foot down, and took the rifle away from me because he said ‘it wasn’t ladylike.’ He served 32 years in the USN, and now that I’m older and slightly wiser, I can see that, to him, it was something more than ‘just not being ladylike.’
I remember the day that my mother told me that she was ‘getting a divorce,’ because my father ‘lived for the Corp’. Whereas my mother viewed this as ‘distasteful’, I took it in an entirely different way. On that day, I learned the meaning of dedication, and the meaning of Honor. On that day I vowed that I would never lose my father, divorce or otherwise.
I remember in 1959 when my mother remarried - a soldier. I remember my brother being born that December. I remember living in Laurel, MD, shopping at the PX at Ft. Meade, going to school there, and spending my allowance in the same shopping center where, in later years, George Wallace would be shot.
I remember movie theatres, full of soldiers; some with families. I remember small town carnivals, again, full of soldiers, some with families and all of us living on a budget.
I remember the Cuban missile crisis, and my mother packing canned goods and crackers in tins and putting them in the cellar.
I remember living in Texas in 1963 at Ft. Hood. I was 12 years old, and I remember my sister and I blowing kisses at the MP’s every time we came through the main gate on our way to the roller skating rink (we thought this was very funny, because we knew the MP’s weren’t required to salute NCO’s, and this was our way of saluting them anyway) *grin*
I remember November 22, 1963, and being on a military base in Texas, when JFK was assassinated in Dallas. I can still hear the guns being fired at Hood.
I remember moving to Florida in 1964.
I remember in 1965, I cut a list of addresses out of the newspaper. It was a list of names of soldiers from our county that were serving in Vietnam. The article was asking for anyone to please send Christmas cards. And with my mother’s supervision, that’s exactly what I did. They all knew that I was a ‘kid,’ yet the response was tremendous.
I remember sitting up every night and refusing to go to bed until every letter was answered. On Saturday’s, I would chop up the sports section of the newspaper and stuff the sports scores into envelopes and have them ready before the mailman came. I also sent lists of the ‘Top Ten’ songs.
I remember in 1965, learning the meaning of sacrifice. Something that I hadn’t even considered… happened. One of the soldiers stopped writing. I was slammed right between the eyes with the stark reality of sacrifice, devastating loss, and helplessness. Yet I went on. I kept writing. I was a 14 year old kid and I wasn’t going to let the other soldiers know. I was going to keep on keepin’ on.
I remember as the 60’s continued on, it got worse - a lot worse. In 1968 a friend and I started sending boxes of chocolate chip cookies to Vietnam. We used our allowance to pay the postage. I would imagine that they were cookie ‘crumbs’ when they got there, but I can’t remember anyone complaining.
I remember watching the news every night at 6. I remember yelling at my kid brother to turn down his record player so I could hear the TV. He would sit in his room every night after dinner, line up all his little plastic soldiers, and ‘wage war’ on his bedroom floor, all the time playing a 45 of Green Berets over and over and over till he about drove me nuts with it. At the time, his father (my step-Dad) was a Top with the 196th LIB in Vietnam.
In 1968 and 1969, my ‘mission’ had expanded from sending cards, to sending cards, letters, broken cookies and kicking anti war protesters in the nuts as each opportunity presented itself. To this day, I’m amazed that I never got arrested. No doubt in my mind, if I had been raised in Calif., I would probably still be in jail.
I remember in fall of ‘68, my sister going off to college and getting tear gassed when Jane Fonda showed up at her campus. The Black Panthers showed up three days after Fonda.
I remember the murders of Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr.
I remember the protests; I can still smell the incense and I can still ‘see’ people in the streets that looked like they hadn’t bathed in weeks. I remember Woodstock and the ‘Summer of Love’ going on out in Calif. I remember the murder of Sharon Tate, the actress.
I remember Kent State.
I remember Ft. Lauderdale beach one Easter week, erupting into mass riots.
I remember high school friends coming home missing limbs.
I remember high school friends that didn’t come home at all.
I remember my best girlfriend’s husband. He came home, but he was no longer the Bruce that we knew and we didn’t understand why. We just knew he was ‘different’ somehow. More quiet, subdued.
I remember the ‘birth’ of the VVAW and the other organizations that were tied to it.
I remember getting married in May 1972 at age 20. My new husband had served two tours in Vietnam in the USN - the first tour on the Enterprise; the second on smaller boats. He didn’t talk about the second tour too much.
I remember that we didn’t leave on our honeymoon that night because we wanted to be in town the following day for another wedding. A couple that we were very close to, Pete and Bonnie. Pete had also served in Nam, (air traffic) and we always went out together; the four of us.
I remember turning 21 on Nov 1, 1972 and they wanted to take me out drinking, and to the race track etc. But before I went, I ran out that day to register to vote. I wanted to be able to vote in a few days. I wanted to be able to cast my very first vote for the candidate whose campaign platform promised to either ‘do it or get off the pot.’
I remember sentencing my brand new husband (of 6months) to ‘the couch’ for a month because he had the nerve to vote for George McGovern and for even having more nerve to admit it. I can still hear myself ranting… ’what are you out of your mind? YOU are a Vietnam Vet!!!’ (Actually, I let him off the hook in less than 30 days… I’m not that stupid…)
I remember in June of 1974, at the age of 22, burying my father with full USMC and Masonic honors.
I remember the last week of April, in 1975.
I remember the choppers lifting off for the last time. I was visiting friends in Atlanta and I remember someone they knew, a female, commenting as we watched it on TV. She called Scotland her home. She said that we never should have been in Nam that the US had gone totally down the toilet. The owner of the house turned to her, and he said, ‘well Lorna, if that’s the way you feel about it, I think y’all should just git your a$$ right on back over there to Scotland and don’t bother to come back.’ Lorna shut up, and Agnew (yes, really his name) sat back and watched the choppers…
I remember the pardoning of the draft dodgers.
I remember in 1980, another war… another mission to save Pete’s life. After Nam, Pete had gone on to be an air traffic controller in civilian life. In 1980, he was diagnosed with cancer; then re-diagnosed with two different types of cancer. Both types are now listed by the Government as AO related. My mission was for blood. Literally! I was relentless in the hounding of my co-workers, wanting them to donate in Pete’s name when the mobile blood drive unit came to our office. I had one co-worker, who was in excellent health, who I would not allow to donate because he matched Pete’s A+ and he might be needed later for a lot more than one pint. He agreed to wait.
I remember in 1981, Pete going out to the City of Hope in Duarte, California for a bone marrow transplant. His sister was the donor. I remember him coming back from California only to have his lungs repeatedly fill with fluid and be put in the hospital for ‘exploratory’ surgery.
I remember on April 6, 1982, at age 30, burying the best ‘guy’ friend I ever had, three weeks before his 33rd birthday. I know that guys might not understand ‘guy friend,’ but any ladies reading this will understand if I simply say…… ’he was the big brother that I had always wanted, and never had.’
I remember in 1991, when Desert Storm began, making red, white blue and yellow ribbon pins, selling them for $1 and making over $800. I held back no money for materials or for my time. I took the money and bought stuff like shaving gear, socks, paperback books, lightweight sweaters in a variety of sizes and other items and took them to a Vet Center in Dade County. I chose to do it this way because I wanted every dime of it to go to Veterans and not Uncle Sam.
I remember this past February 3, when my step-Dad passed from AO related cancer. He was buried with full military honors.
I remember all of them and all of you, not just every Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
I remember every day. How can I not, when every defining moment and just about every aspect of my life has been touched by all of you?
Be kind to each other. No one will ever understand you as well as you will each other.
You are, and always will be,
Brothers and Sisters.

Night of the Living Blog
I am honored to be mentioned in the same paragraph as Frank J even if this bozo was too stupid to get my name right. I won't feel bad though, after all, she spelled Rush's name wrong too.
I wonder how she knew I was part of the "Republican Right Wing Smear Machine." That was supposed to be a secret!
She claims that "every fucking nano-particle of me is a gay supporting rope smoking hair farming patchouli brewing tree huggin' radical liberal pinko!" I am sure her parents are very proud.
She is also jaded, spent, and shredded, fired up and so full of juice she needs a catheter and she has a seemingly endless source of energy and inspiration.
She's also horny.
It's when I am home, isolated within these walls that the funky crud starts "carving deep blue ripples in the tissues of my mind". Firstly, I am single and 46. I hate being single and horny. Being 46 I can live with considering the alternative. But the hornier than shit stuff, dood. It really sucks.
How pathetic is that?
But wait! There's more!
I am spiritually ill. I am sick on a soul level from fighting snd struggling so hard for so long, only to see the Life Culture consitently beaten down by the militaristic economic techno-regime of the global old boy's network. My heart is heavy from seeing us demonized, scapegoated and relegated by the narrow minded self serving conformists who feel threatened by our message of peace and love.
I crave sensuality, nurturing, spirit and musical involvement. I desperately want to be around beauty, energy, danger and the avant garde. And I dare say I am gonna do something about it.
Whew. Look out world!
If you actually visit the pinko's page, don't be put off by the number of misspelled words. The Republican Right Wing Smear Machine zapped her spell checker. We can do that, you know!
However, the Republican Right Wing Smear Machine had nothing to do with scrambling her brain. I think we can blame that on whoever raised her to be a liberal democrat and a hippie. Either that or she just smoked too much crack.
Nothing like pissing off a liberal - and a hippie - to make my day.
I guess I'm doing something right.

Barghouti to run for Palestinian leader
The AP is reporting that Barghouti wants to run for President, nothwithstanding the fact that he is serving several life sentences for the murder of four Israelis and a Greek monk.
Fatah is behind him: "When he takes that decision (to run), we will be near him and we will support him," said Ahmed Ghneim, a senior Fatah leader and another member of the younger guard.
Israel is determined not to free Barghouti but the pressure to do so would increase if he won. Would a successful run for president turn into a get out of jail free card? One can only wonder.

Riots in Israel
Riots have begun in Ramallah. This would be a good place for a MOAB.

"Mourners" dance on top of dead terrorist Yassir Arafat's coffin, fight each other to touch the coffin, throwing rocks, shooting guns, trampling one another in the traditional, patented "palenstinian death swarm."

An Idea Whose Time Has Come
1. Are you absolutely outraged that George W. Bush was re-elected President of the United States?
2. Have you decided that you just can't stand living in a country that would elect such an obvious idiot?
3. Is the thought of four more years of "W" more than you can stand?
DON'T WORRY! WE CAN HELP!
In return for your irrevocable renunciation of your United States citizenship, and a sworn statement that you will never return, we will provide free one-way transportation to one of our politically matched recommended countries on one of the jets we have chartered to provide this service.
So. What are you waiting for? and.. don't let the door hitcha...

Four Words - Plus Three!
We have this via Sworn Enemy...
I'm sorry these people are Americans.
If you would like to see why we need a moonbat hunting season, check out Sorry Everybody. The best stuff is in their Gallery. At least there are pictures so we can hunt them down like the vermon they are.
I just noticed that Frank J has found a similar site of losers.
Update: Just found out about How Do You Like My Face. The WINNERS response to the moonbat LOSERS.
Yup. I am sorry these people are Americans too.
As How Do You Like My Face puts it:
And as for the faux-Americans who lend credence to "everybody else's" concerns by apologizing to them when the rest of the US hasn't lived up to "everybody else's" standards, we have only four words...
And those four words are:

Idiots. Idiots. We are surrounded by idiots.

Veterans Day
Americans live in freedom because of our veterans' courage, dedication to duty, and love of country. On Veterans Day, we honor these brave men and women who have served in our Armed Forces and defended our Nation.
Across America, there are more than 25 million veterans. Their ranks include generations of citizens who have risked their lives while serving in military conflicts, including World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, and the war on terror. They have fought for the security of our country and the peace of the world. They have defended our founding ideals, protected the innocent, and liberated the oppressed from tyranny and terror. They have known the hardships and the fears and the tragic losses of war. Our veterans know that in the harshest hours of conflict they serve just and honorable purposes.
Through the years, our veterans have returned home from their duties to become active and responsible citizens in their communities, further contributing to the growth and development of our Nation. Their commitment to service inspires all Americans.
With respect for and in recognition of the contributions our service men and women have made to the cause of peace and freedom around the world, the Congress has provided (5 U.S.C. 6103(a)) that November 11 of each year shall be set aside as a legal public holiday to honor veterans.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim November 11, 2004, as Veterans Day and urge all Americans to observe November 7 through November 13, 2004, as National Veterans Awareness Week. I urge all Americans to recognize the valor and sacrifice of our veterans through ceremonies and prayers. I call upon Federal, State, and local officials to display the flag of the United States and to encourage and participate in patriotic activities in their communities. I invite civic and fraternal organizations, places of worship, schools, businesses, unions, and the media to support this national observance with commemorative expressions and programs.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this ninth day of November, in the year of our Lord two thousand four, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and twenty-ninth.
GEORGE W. BUSH

Night of Broken Glass
On this day in 1938, Nazis looted and burned synagogues as well as Jewish-owned stores and houses in Germany and Austria in what became known as "Kristallnacht."
The term "Kristallnacht" ('Night of Broken Glass") refers to the organized anti-Jewish riots in Germany and Austria, November 9-10, 1938. These riots marked a major transition in Nazi policy, and were, in many ways, a harbinger of the "Final Solution."
On the nights of November 9 and 10, rampaging mobs throughout Germany and the newly acquired territories of Austria and Sudetenland freely attacked Jews in the street, in their homes and at their places of work and worship. At least 96 Jews were killed and hundreds more injured, more than 1,000 synagogues were burned (and possibly as many as 2,000), almost 7,500 Jewish businesses were destroyed, cemeteries and schools were vandalized, and 30,000 Jews were arrested and sent to concentration camps.
The official German position on these events, which were clearly orchestrated by Goebbels, was that they were spontaneous outbursts. The Fuehrer, Goebbels reported to Party officials in Munich, "has decided that such demonstrations are not to be prepared or organized by the party, but so far as they originate spontaneously, they are not to be discouraged either."
Kristallnacht was a crucial turning point in German policy regarding the Jews and may be considered as the actual beginning of what is now called the Holocaust.
There are important lessons to be drawn from Kristallnacht, for it served as a bridge experience for both Jews and Nazis. For the Jews, there was the terrifying realization that political antisemitism can lead to violence, even in Western Civilization. It also demonstrated that apathy can still pervade the world when the lives of Jews or other minorities are threatened.
For the Nazis, Kristallnacht taught that while the world might condemn their pogroms, it would not actively oppose them. World opinion, however, taught the Nazis the value of secrecy in the perpetration of future actions against Jews. Added to the complaints of Germans offended by the random violence of Kristallnacht, the stage was set for the "Final Solution"--the organized, bureaucratically efficient genocide of 6,000,000 men, women, and children.
In retrospect, Kristallnacht was more than the shattering of windows and illusions. It portended the physical destruction of European Jewry. As such, this commemoration must be observed both as a memorial and as a warning. -- Simon Wiesenthal Center

Muslim Groups Try to Suppress Free Speech
Via Little Green Footballs: Muslim advocacy groups are attempting to suppress the publication of the book Prophet of Doom by Craig Winn, claiming it is "blasphemous:" Stop Hatred & Misinformation about the Best of Creation (peace be upon him) Petition.
This petition to stifle criticism of Islam has garnered almost 45,000 signatures as of this writing. But here’s a counter-petition you can sign, urging bookstores not to cave in to these un-American scare tactics: First Amendment freedoms include the right to criticize Islam and Muhammad Petition.

7-Election Results
The results are in and the unofficial, unscientific 7-Election Presidential Coffee Cup Poll proved just as accurate as many scientific ones with candidates George W. Bush and John F. Kerry in a statistical tie heading into Election Day.
Final 2004 7-Election cup counts tracked within a few percentage points of actual poll results in many states, including key swing states.
Casting their "votes" in participating 7-Eleven stores across the country during the month-long promotion in October, customers served up these results:

Swift Justice!
Bold John sailed forth in his faux scow,
Till the Swiftees fired across his bow;
And legions of irate attorneys,
Could not defend Cambodian journeys,
Nor stories of his fabled hat,
So voters sensed they smelled a rat.
And while the networks denied them prime,
The Swiftees surely got their time.
While John screamed it was all a smear,
O’Neill came across sincere,
And forced Big John to duck the press,
To run, to hide from his specious mess.
But relentless those old Swiftee guys,
They bit, hung on, exposed his lies.
These brave old warriors once again
Stood for their country, for their kin.
They made us all look one more time
At the traitor who’d charged them with crime,
And gave false witness to their deeds
For nothing more than political needs.
It’s a smear proclaimed the New York Times
Those liars all committed crimes.
Chris Matthews raged, foamed at the mouth,
Still the turncoat’s campaign headed south.
So the Swiftboat Veterans’ charges stuck
And made poor John a sitting duck.
He had no answers, no glib replies,
To cover up his treasonous lies;
That made us think, our minds aware,
The Swiftees had some truth in there;
What if he’d faked his combat valor,
Were all those medals tinged with pallor?
Dan Rather would not pay them heed,
But still the Swiftees made John bleed.
The mainstream pundits called them liars;
But no lefty slant could staunch these fires.
The blazes that these Swiftees set
Were burning John Boy’s ass you bet;
And those Swiftboat fires just burned away
Till they fried John’s ass on election day.
Now all you heroes on that Wall
Take solace seeing Kerry fall.
This scheming pol who stained your name
Has been denied his claim to fame.
The Swiftees stood and did their best,
Denied the traitor his life’s quest.
You can rest in peace our honored kin
Your honor restored by honorable men.

What are we fighting for?
In case you were wondering...
BAQOUBA, Iraq - Twenty-five parties. Millions of voters. Twelve hours of balloting at sites ringed by layers of police and military guards.
After decades of dictatorship, today is the day that Iraq begins the six-week process of voter registration.
"Today voter registration is starting all over the country," said Farid Ayar, the spokesman for Iraq's Independent Electoral Commission. "It is going well up until now."
"We are not worried about security, everything is going very well," Ayar said.
He had said that a group linked to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the Jordanian Islamist who tops Iraq's most wanted list, had sent menacing letters to election organizers warning them to stop work or die.
The process poses a huge security challenge for American military commanders given the task of ensuring the vote comes off. Troops from the 3rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division are mapping out a spectrum of tasks, funding the printing of election posters, preparing pre-emptive strikes on insurgents, securing polling sites and ensuring hospitals have enough medical supplies in the event of mass casualties.
"We can't afford not to succeed," said U.S. Army Maj. Kenneth Adgie, operations officer of the 3rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. "We are looking at a step-change in the history of Iraq. If we mess it up, it's back to the bad old days."

Help for Liberals!
Reuters is reporting that many of you liberals out there have been flocking to Canada's immigration website to find out what it takes to get out of Bush Country. In fact, the average number of 20,000 people "rocketed to 115,016 on Wednesday" before settling down to 65,803 on Thursday. Looks like it ain't gonna be easy to get in that way.
Good news for all you liberals. A select group of Canadians have banded together to help you get out of Bush Country and into Canada without all that pesky immigration paperwork. You can escape by marrying a like-minded Canuck. Yup! Its true! What could be easier?
From the "Marry an American" website:
They Americans, sick of the political climate of their homeland, have long sought refuge within Canadian borders. And let's face it, when compared to the United States, Canada is a liberal utopia & we have universal healthcare (in two languages!), gay marriage, free marijuana for everyone, and we don't like guns.
Already, our American counterparts are fleeing the U.S. in droves and buying up land along our borders. We envision a movement where everyone wins: Freedom of expression and a politically convenient marriage with love and igloos for all.
Canadian singles, tired of the dating scene, are willing to act for love or just plain pity. Let's drop our borders/inhibitions/commitment issues, set a date, pick out our china patterns and wed a sexy American liberal.
So, what are you waiting for? Sign the pledge now, submit your profile and pack your bags. and... don't let the door hitcha...

Thank G-d Bush Won!
I received this link by email. Someone thought I would be interested in the opening post. It was interesting, but the rest of the thread was even more so. If you can get past the spelling and gramatical errors, perhaps you will think so too.
Be sure to read post number 36.

The Fact is...
I like facts.
In the 37 elections since 1860 -- the first won by a Republican -- Democrats have won only 14. Only twice in 15 post-World War II elections has the Democratic nominee achieved 50 percent of the vote.
Oh very yes indeed. I like that fact. Thanks George!

The Enemy Within
I did all I could do to help re-elect President George W. Bush. I did all I could do to help defeat John F. Kerry. Did my humble efforts change anything? Maybe, maybe not. But I tried. I tried my very best.
In the end, America made it's choice, and George W. Bush will have four more years. Kerry will return to obscurity, rejected by an overwhelming majority of Americans.
But the fight is not over, the cancer infecting this great Country lives on. The left continues to spew vile hatred of everything we hold near and dear, doing what it can to destroy us from within.
From the cesspool of society:
Poll question: What is more depressing . . 9/11/01 or 11/3/04? What happened on 9/11 or what happened the day after Election Day, 2004?
| Poll result (149 votes) | |
| 9/11/01 | |
| 11/03/04 | |
Some of the more repulsive responses:
Big Blue Marble - "Because a lot more people are going to die because of 11/3/04 than have died during and after 9/11. 11/3/04 is truly the day that will live infamy all around the world. I have lived 61 years, lost my parents and my sister plus many many pets and this is the darkest day of my life." -- Big Blue Marble
zulchzulu speaks of assasination: "We can only hope that Bush doesn't make it through four years. The day Bush is no longer president before the term ends will be a national week-long holiday in my World." -- zulchzulu
Mike L says "No contest-- 11-3-04. It means that more than 3,000 people will die in the next 4 years."
Peak_Oil accuses our troops of acting like... John Kerry: "The US army killed an order of magnitude more people in Iraq than died in the WTC. Is that enough yet? Can we stop now? Or do we need to kill more women and children?"
Kitka thinks "11/3/04. Because though a group of people thought killing thousands of people was justified on 9/11, millions of people thought killing hundreds of thousands of people was justified and voted for Bush."
These people are the very heart and soul of what is wrong with America, and they would destroy this Country. I thank G-d that they have been defeated.

Age Limits for Murder?
The BBC is reporting that "An international human rights group has called on Palestinian militants to stop using children in suicide bombings and military terrorist attacks."
"Palestinian armed groups must clearly and publicly condemn all use of children under the age of 18." Jo Becker, Human Rights Watch
Human Rights Watch made the call after 16-year-old Amer al-Fahr blew himself up in a Tel Aviv marketplace on Monday, killing three Israeli civilians. The New York-based group claimed at least 10 bombers aged under 18 have attacked Israel in the past four years. Took them long enough but still, it is too little, too late.
"Any attack on civilians is prohibited by international law, but using children for suicide attacks is particularly egregious. Palestinian armed groups must clearly and publicly condemn all use of children under the age of 18 for military activities, and make sure these policies are carried out." -- Jo Becker, advocacy director for children's rights at Human Rights Watch.
A senior member of the political wing of the group behind the Tel Aviv attack, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, admitted to the BBC the group had made a mistake by recruiting 16-year-old Amer al-Fahr. "The organisation was looking at improving checks on applicants' ages," he added.
Considering all the propaganda directed toward school arab children, I'd say ooops is not exactly an honest reaction. And the BBC claims that some senior "militant" figures have said they consider children of 16 as adults.
Meanwhile, "Human Rights Watch" urged Israel to take measures to safeguard the lives of children. So. "Human Rights Watch" would hold Israel responsible for the deaths of Israeli children murdered by terrorists, but it won't lose any sleep over the terrorism perpetuated against Israeli civilians (and children) provided of course, that the perpetuator is of legal age.
"Human Rights Watch" needs a name change lest we confuse it with an organization dedicated to watching out for human rights. May I suggest: "Terrorist Rights Watch."

Just Die Already!
Palestinian terrorist Yasser Arafat is in a coma and in an "extremely bad state", French medical sources told AFP.
Arafat was on life support at the Percy military hospital in Clamart, southwest of Paris, the medical sources said Thursday.
"He is still in a coma," they added.

EU to Discuss Solana's Mid East plan
So, the European Council meets today and tomorrow. On its agenda:
A "seven-page plan" presented by EU high representative Javier Solana to push forward the establishment of a Palestinian state.
The plan could not be found on any of the EU-websites yet, but according EUobserver, it examines how "EU could help build an effective Palestinian security force, hold elections and continue reforms in the Palestinian Authority."
"According to Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos, there was unanimous support for the plan among ministers."

Florida is turning out in droves, lines started forming well before the polls were open. From the early reports, the same thing is happening throughout the country.

Here We Go Again...
A memory card which records voting data on a voting machine in Daytona Beach has failed and all 13,000 votes must be recounted.
When the error was discovered Monday, both parties were notified and everyone gathered around to watch the removal of the ballots and their storage in the vault. Now they have to talk about how to recount the ballots.
Mommy... make it stop....

America Can Do Better!
Nothing like a little media bias for The Great Pretender:
From the original MSNBC transcript of John Kerry’s interview with Tom Brokaw on October 28:
Brokaw: Someone has analyzed the President’s military aptitude tests and yours, and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do.
Kerry: That’s great. More power. I don’t know how they’ve done it, because my record is not public. So I don’t know where you’re getting that from.
Jeepers. The Great Pretender has already gone on record saying all his records have been released. Rush sums is up well...
Campaign handlers claim Kerry isn't hiding any of his war records, insisting all have been released to the public. That simply is not true. Many more records -- including Kerry's medical records -- could and should be released.
On Aug. 23, the Pentagon responded to a Washington Post Freedom of Information Act request by turning over just six pages of the 100-page Kerry dossier. Why? Kerry wouldn't authorized the release of the full file.
On the issue of military service, Kerry boldly says: "Bring it on!" Yet he won't bring it out.
That's right Rush, and now with the help of MSNBC, he's covering it up!
MSNBC changed its version of the transcript, dated October 31, removing all reference to Kerry's military records:
Brokaw: “Someone has analyzed the president’s military aptitude tests and yours, and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do.”
Kerry: “That’s great. More power. I don’t know how they’ve done it.”
By omitting that critical sentence, MSNBC has deliberately lied to America concerning what a presidential candidate said two days before the election. How dare they do such a thing?
I asked them. How much do you want to bet I get no response?

Global Test Coming Up...
Osama speaks and The Great Pretender takes a poll.
"The thing that I find amazing about it is that John Kerry's first response was to go conduct a poll. He went into the field ... to find out what he should say about this tape of Osama bin Laden.
It's as though he doesn't know what he believes until he has to go and check the polls, his finger in the air, to see which way the wind is blowing and then he'll make a decision.
George Bush doesn't need a poll to know what he believes, especially about Osama bin Laden." -- Vice President Dick Cheney
