The North American Union, SPP, and NASCO: Erasing America’s Borders
By Heidi at Euphoric Reality

Our government has undertaken some monumental legislation that fully impacts the American way of life, our freedom, and our sovereignty. The purpose of such legislation is to homogenize Canada, Mexico, and the United States into a North American Union - and we're all going to sleep through it.

Have you heard of a little-known program called the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America? This tri-lateral partnership was signed by President Bush last year without Congressional oversight or public approval. Opponents of the SPP have called it NAFTA on steroids - and we all know how disastrous NAFTA has been for everyone except Mexico. It also appears to be modeled on the ineffective and highly unpopular European Union (unpopular with the people, that is).

I went to the website, www.spp.gov, to begin my research. There are, indeed, no boundaries between Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. when it comes to the cooperation of financial, trade, and foreign affair departments. Though some of the PR language on the website sounds fairly benign, the commissions are picking up momentum. And you know what happens when bureaucrats start grasping at influence and power! Except that now we don't have to just worry about our own greedy bureaucrats - but Canada's and Mexico's too.

This is not some weird and obscure conspiracy website, it is our government's plan to literally give away or sell our national sovereignty. What is most galling is that we will share responsibility for security across North America. It is very conceivable that we could see our troops deployed to secure the southern border of Mexico. Yes, you read that right - not OUR unsecured warzone of a southern border - but Mexico's border with Belize and Guatemala. That is the conclusion of an investigative report done by Lou Dobbs on CNN:

Robert B. Murray
notes:

President George W. Bush, President Vicente Fox of Mexico, and former Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin agreed in March 2005 to create this union by executive regulations and agreements rather than by treaty to bypass Congress. Twenty working groups were formed and are well on their way to establishing a super-government for North America that will not be bound by our Constitution. The web site for this new bureaucracy—located at www.spp.gov—provides a look at their plans and accomplishments thus far. The plan is to have this arrangement implemented by 2010.

Behind its innocuous title, the “Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America,” the United States will surrender its Constitution. According to Jerome R. Corsi, an author and political commentator, our nation-state prerogatives would be superseded by the authority of a North American court and parliamentary body and our dollar would become the “Amero.”

Possibly the strongest leg of the SPP is NASCO - North America's SuperCorridor Coalition - otherwise known as the NAFTA Superhighway. Airily dismissed by some public officials as internet rumors and hype and completely unaffordable, NASCO has quietly been amassing funding and already begun preliminary construction in Texas.

NASCO Superhighway.jpg
...already underway is the plan for a NAFTA Superhighway: 1,200 feet wide, stretching from Lazaro Cardenas on the west coast of Mexico, entering the United States at Laredo, Texas, and continuing straight north to Winnipeg, Canada, with another route to Kansas City thence north easterly to Detroit and Montreal.

Containerized goods from Asia will be offloaded onto Mexican trucks, with Mexican drivers, and distributed throughout the economic system. Go to www.nascocorridor.com to view the plan and progress. There will be no internal boundaries to restrict the flow of people, goods or services.

In fact, the first customs stop on the Superhighway will be in the heart of America - Kansas City! Along the way, primary U.S. labor unions will be by-passed in favor of Mexican labor, including the Longshoremen’s Union, the railroad United Transportation Union, and the Teamsters.

How will such a massive flow of goods and foreign traffic be monitored? According to author Jerome Corsi,

"Across the NAFTA Super-Highways will flow millions more Mexicans, now armed with North American border passes and biometric identification, as defined by the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America working groups organized within the Department of Commerce."

Similar toll systems snaking their way from the southern and northern borders cutting through major American cities will force American citizens to submit to having RFID enabled identification cards which contain an ever-increasing array of information about their personal lives.

Illegal aliens with cloned RFID transponders will enjoy streamlined access to the US while Americans labor under the financial burden of tolls that go directly to foreign corporations and restrictions that take the right of free travel out of their hands. This and more is occurring without Congressional oversight, but is naturally funded with our state and federal tax dollars.

But our public officials are saying this could never happen, if only because it's completely unaffordable! Not so, since foreign investment will cover any gaps that taxing the American people leaves. Additionally, the Bush administration has embarked on a policy of selling off key US infrastructure to the highest bidder - in most cases foreign owned corporations.

[K]ey players, including the investment bankers and the worldwide capital investment funds, have a plan to address these fiscal shortcomings with their own resources. On April 30, 1992, President George H.W. Bush signed Executive Order No. 12803 on infrastructure privatization, a move that cleared the way for private capital to invest in U.S. infrastructure projects, including highways.

For instance, the Indiana Toll Road, Virginia's Pocahontas Parkway, a Texas toll road from Austin to Sequin and The Chicago Skyway have all been sold or leased for 99 years to foreign companies who will all enjoy billions in profits from American citizens forced to pay the tolls. And now the New Jersey Turnpike and the Ohio Turnpike are also under the hammer with foreign interests at the forefront of the negotiations.

An earlier Corsi article cites government websites which carry full planning details of the Super Highway. Its construction has already begun in Texas with no congressional oversight whatsoever. The Trans-Texas Corridor is being overseen by The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the contract is owned by the Cintra corporation which in turn is owned by the King of Spain Juan Carlos. The project is being financed by the implementation of a toll that will be collected by means of GPS tracking devices installed in all vehicles and also envelops many connecting roads to the highway. (Toll road info summarized by Paul Watson)

Watson further adds this dire prediction, "To even be allowed to use major roads and highways, US citizens will be subject to a criminal background check and the government will have the ability to pinpoint their particular RFID signal and remotely block it from central computer mainframes - effectively abolishing freedom of mobility in America."

President Ronald Reagan once said, “A nation without borders is not a nation.” While we’ve been looking elsewhere, our own government has implemented a comprehensive plan to erase our borders with Canada and Mexico. The NAFTA Superhighway will allow vehicles, people and goods to travel from Mexico, into the American heartland, and up to Canada with little impediment, making America's borders obsolete. Coupled with Bush's blanket amnesty program, the new North American Union and the NAFTA Superhighway (NASCO) will fully expedite the wholesale dismantling of American sovereignty. It would seem that the while the rest of the world is already lining up to get their piece of the American pie, Americans will be the last to know. It is happening quietly and behind our backs, while our attention is fully engaged by the War on Terror, the upcoming elections, and our personal lives.

On-line Polls - Don't do it!

Emailing Polls Which People Hate Only Encourages More Polls On The Same Topic

Summary: Some Jews are boycotting CNN claiming an anti-Israel bias, yet regularly forward Internet polls on CNN.com to friends not realizing they are helping CNN make money despite their boycott. Boycott Watch gets to the truth behind polls on news websites and why the news agencies seldom quote their own polls.

Emails regularly circulate asking people to visit news websites and vote for their positions in polls. Such emails may also contain commentary about perceived website bias on the topic as well as pleas to sway the poll outcome. These are unscientific polls designed for the sole propose of drawing people to the website in order to make money by displaying advertisements. Additionally, almost nobody but the actual voters ever see the poll results and then usually only while voting. These polls, therefore, are likely to only affect the personal egos of the voters.

Looking at a random poll on www.CNN.com half way through the day, the particular poll has had more than 500K respondents, and that does not include the people who look at the poll but do not vote for whatever reason. There are different ad types on the pages, and each ad type pays a different amount of money per-thousand ads displayed. I saw 4 display ads, a Yahoo tie-in plus pop-under ads. Conservatively estimating an average of $4 per thousand ads rate, let's do the math:

500K voters (K=1000)
5 ads per person
= 2500K ads displayed.

2500K ads at $4 per K, results in an estimated $10,000 of income for CNN for the one-day poll ½ way through the polls run, and the evening rush had yet to begin, thus the total number of ads displayed will likely double at the least, especially as the emails are forwarded in multiples. So, the more people forward such polls to their friends in order to influence the poll numbers, the more people are encouraging polls about topics they are sensitive to may or wish never to have been posted to begin with. "This is business," said Boycott Watch president Fred Taub, "the bigger the poll response, the more polls that will appear on that topic." CNN will probably bring in more than $25K from this daily poll alone, not to mention readers of this page which have nothing to do with the poll.

So much for Jews boycotting CNN with "CNN LIES" bumper stickers in order to punish CNN for a perceived anti-Israel bias. By passing along Israel-related polls to their friends, boycotters are actually helping their boycott target make money, thus defeating their own boycott efforts.

These polls are also non-scientific and therefore have no bearing. Website polls are, therefore, statistically meaningless, yet they draw people to the ads, and that is what these polls are actually for.

USA! USA! Stand by Israel!

U. S. To Block U.N. Denunciation of Israel
22:06 Jul 30, '06 / 5 Av 5766

(IsraelNN.com) The United States is expected to block a United Nations Security Council resolution denouncing Israel for the killing of about 60 civilians in the Lebanese village of Kana Sunday morning. Israel has said that the explosion in the building that caused the deaths may have been caused by stockpiles of Hizbullah weapons and not by the Israeli attack.

The Council is taking a recess at this hour and will resume its meeting in two hours.

Shabbat Shalom

He who blessed our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, may He bless the soldiers of Israel who stand guard on our country and the cities of our God. From Lebanon until the deserts of Egypt, from the Mediterranean Sea until the Plains of Jordan - on dry land, in the air and sea. May God afflict the enemies that rise against them before them. The Holy One, Blessed is He, should protect and save our soldiers from any misfortune or calamity, and from any sickenss or disease. May he send blessing and success in all their handiwork, destroy their enemies below them, and crown them with the crown of redemption and the crown of victory. And the verse "For God walks among you, to wage war for you with your enemies, to save you" should be fulfilled, and let us say, Amen.

Bail me out or else!

I guess I should file this under humor:

NEW YORK (REUTERS) -- A prison inmate pleaded guilty on Tuesday to sending letters to the FBI and secret service that included bomb and anthrax threats -- as well as his full name and inmate number.

Donald Ray Bilby, 30, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Trenton to one count of false information and hoaxes after he sent five letters demanding authorities deposit $20,000 in his county jail inmate account because he needed money for bail, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

"I think it's fair to say we were not dealing with a great criminal mind here," U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie said in a statement.

Bilby signed all the letters using his full name and inserted his inmate number beneath his signature. One letter to the FBI included demands for money, a piece of paper labeled "anthrax" and a white powdery substance that turned out to be harmless.

He faces a maximum of five years in prison after first serving a sentence for automobile theft.

hmph.

UN Participants in Terror

The photo is everywhere, Hezbollah's flag flying next to the UN flag at the outpost in Lebanon that was hit by an Israeli missle this week.

The fact that the UN participates in terrorism against Israel is old news, watch this video, shot by a Reuters reporter on May 11, 2004.

In the video, Palestinian terrorists commit a terrorist act in Israel and waiting nearby is a UN ambulance. After the shooting, the UN ambulance pulls up, the terrorists jump in, and they are spirited away from the scene of the crime.

There can be no doubt whose side the UN is on. There can be no doubt that UN equipment, personnel and resources are used to commit terrorist attacks in Israel.

I've had this video for years, and I forgot about it. Thank you Chrissie, for reminding me.

CLARIFICATION:

In response to the many inquiries I've had concerning this video, following is a clarification of the event caught on film. This was stored on my old hard drive (what a pain to hook it up but worth it). I don't know who wrote most of this, the links were not there in my notes, I just touched it up a bit and posted it. There is no plagiarism intended, I just don't know who to credit Source turns out to be a JWR article by Michelle Malkin.

As I indicated above, the video shot by a Reuters cameraman on May 11, 2004. The film documents two ambulances with flashing lights entering a street in Southern Gaza. Shots ring out accompanied by shouts in arabic, including the ever popular allah akbar. The terrorists make their escape in the ambulances, which are clearly marked with the UN logo and which are flying the UN flag.

What the video does not show is the result of the terrorist raid. The terrorists you see in the film murdered six Israeli soldiers that night, aided and abetted by paid employees of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). That's your tax dollars at work!

Rueters declined to show the footage to American viewers and it was AccessMiddleEast.org, a nonprofit global news monitoring service, who originally posted the video on its Web approximately one month after it was filmed. Not a single U.S. television news station has ever expressed interest in showing the footage to American viewers.

UNRWA denies the incident and denies other similar documented incidents as well. UNRWA claims that their drivers were forced to cooperate in terrorist attacks despite the fact that one of its senior employees, Nahed Rashid Ahmed Attalah, has confessed to using his official U.N. vehicle to bypass security and smuggle arms, explosives, and terrorists to and from attacks, while he was supposed to be distributing food supplies to Palestinian refugees. Hamas terrorist Nidal 'Abd al-Fataah 'Abdallah Nizal worked as an UNRWA ambulance driver and freely admits he has used an emergency vehicle to transport munitions to terrorists.

But the UN isn't the only humanitarian organization to assist terrorists in Israel. An intensive care ambulance carrying the acronym of the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) was used to deliver an explosive belt found underneath a stretcher on which a sick child was lying in spring 2002. Female suicide bomber Wafa Idris, who blew herself up in a 2002 attack in Jerusalem, was a medical secretary for the PRCS.

UNRWA has long been suspected of providing aid and comfort to terrorists. Rep. Eric Cantor (R.-Va.), chairman of the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare, documented how "buildings and warehouses under UNRWA supervision are allegedly being used as storage areas for Palestinian ammunition and counterfeit currency factories."

Cantor's 2002 report also noted that UNRWA hosts summer camps in martyrdom for young terrorists-in-training. Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ.) has also lobbied for increased scrutiny of UNRWA funding, which has been used to publish anti-Semitic textbooks and posters in schools that "glorify homicide bombers and the slaughter of innocents."

Moreover, according to Smith, a UNRWA school hosted a Hamas rally by a key Hamas leader in 2001 and another UNRWA employee praised homicide bombers, proclaiming: "The road to Palestine passes through the blood of the fallen, and these fallen have written history with parts of their flesh and their bodies."

While jihadists gain shelter in its emergency vehicles, the U.N. continues to lambaste the U.S. for assorted wartime "atrocities." Not one more American dime should go to fund the bloody self-righteousness of the world's most generous terrorist relief organization.

Confession re: Gush Katif

I received this by email today, forwarded to me from someone else, I was speaking to a friend just yesterday about this very same thing.:

Sent: Tuesday, July 25, 2006 12:17 AM
Subject: confession - must read!!

Enclosed is the translation of the letter I got today.

Please read

Friends and family members are being injured and killed.
Some of us are without a roof on our heads.
I closed my business since the beginning of the battle and I don't know what will happen.
We are wandering between family and good people.
Our family life has been impaired.
I never thought that I, a Haifa resident for 30 years, would be a refugee in my own land.
Every thing sound so familiar from the close past.
During 5 years you coped with bombs – and I didn't care
You buried family and friends - and I was indifferent
You found yourselves without a home, like that and you never had someone that listened to you.
Even when you came to visit me to my house, to explain, to convince, to share your feelings with me – I refused to listen to you.
It has already been a week. I am out of my house, without my regular routine, it is very hard to me – but the empathy, the support, and people identifying with our plight helped me go on.
You , don't even have that.
You – In guest houses, hotels and even in tents- It's not easy to say: "Who cares?!"
People from Gush Katif and the Shomron!
Forgive me!
Forgive us for letting you on your own.
Forgive us for not understanding you.
I am not a religious man, and not a mystic person.
But we cannot ignore the deep relation
Between my attitude towards you
And the price that I am paying now for my understanding.

I could not have expressed this any better. It's true! Those who closed their eyes to the fate of our people in Gaza last year are now suffering the same fate.

If you are here in the States and you would like to pray with us, that would be 11:00 am Eastern Time.

Psalms 83

Psalms 130

Psalms 142

If they seem a bit different than what you are used to, bear in mind that this a literal translation from Hebrew.

In America

This past Friday, the Muslim American Society held their "Justice for Palestine and Lebanon Protest" at Boston's City Hall Plaza. Seva Brodsky was there, camera in hand.

He was bullied, pushed, shoved, cursed at, threatened and abused by these peaceful muslims and their American supporters.

More people joined the melee, shouting and threatening me. Unfortunately, by this point my camera was off, so I did not capture what had transpired then. One man told me that the police would not help me, as they were going to hunt me down and kill me (he can be heard on the video repeatedly commanding me not to take pictures)

Solomonia has his report. Read it and weep.

How the left supports our Troops

Or... how the left exploits our Troops for personal gain:

Slain G.I.'s ma spurs anti-war T-shirt ban

OKLAHOMA CITY - A woman whose Marine son died while serving in Iraq is fighting to keep his name off anti-war T-shirts.

Judy Vincent learned last year that Cpl. Scott Vincent's name is among about 1,700 included on a T-shirt being sold by an Arizona man over the Internet. The front of the shirt reads "Bush Lied" and the back reads "They Died."

The woman, whose son was killed in April 2004, pushed for Oklahoma legislators to pass a law that makes it a misdemeanor to use a soldier's name or likeness for advertising purposes without consent. The law goes into effect this November.

The shirt vendor, Dan Frazier of Flagstaff, Ariz., issued an open letter to family members praising the soldiers' bravery and sacrifice, but said he would not stop selling the merchandise.

Dan Frazier is just using our Troops to line his pockets with green. Its all about the money, honey, and one day he'll find out he can't spend that cash in hell. Can't happen soon enough for me.

What do they want?

In exchange for two Israeli soldiers Hezbollah demands the release of Samir Kuntar.

Who is Samir Kuntar?

In 1979, Samir Kuntar led a raid that targeted civilians in Nahariya. His group entered the apartment of a young couple, Danny and Smadar Haran. They took Danny and his 4-year-old daughter, Einat, hostage and retreated to the beach. Trapped there, first, according to witnesses, they killed Danny. The murder of her father would be the last scene Einat would see. For then the raiders killed the little girl — by bashing her head against a rock. Back at their apartment, Danny's wife, Smadar, had escaped execution by hiding in the crawlspace above a bedroom with their other daughter, two-year-old Yael. Afraid the child would reveal their hiding place, she had covered Yael's mouth with her hand. When she took her hand away, the mother realized she had smothered her child to death.

Let the lawsuits begin!

Is it too soon to ask who will pay for the property and businesses damaged by Hezbollah rockets?

Attorneys Yehudah Talmon, Yoram Dantziger, and Nitzah Libai preparing symbolic lawsuit to be presented in US against Lebanese government for compensation to be paid to Israeli businesses, citizens for war damages.

Talmon, aided by a team of lawyers and accountants, will claim in the lawsuit that the Lebanese government is responsible for damages caused to residents of Israel because it didn't prevent Hizbullah from acting from its territory to harm Israeli citizens, thus violating the International Convention for the Suppression of Terrorism.

Is there precedent?

"A few years ago, a claim was submitted in the United States against the Iranian government for damaging property belonging to American citizens. The prosecutors won. Lebanon, as a sovereign state, was not supposed to permit Hizbullah to hurt Israelis from its land. This is against international law."

It would appear that harboring terrorists has consequences.

Boudoir Blogging

Being a woman in the blogosphere can sometimes be a little rough, mostly because it means you get lumped in with morons who talk about the issues but dilute their opinions with suggestive commentary and sexy pictures of themselves, and who revel in the suggestive comments they receive in reply. Women who think they have "made it" because a lot of men want to have sex with them. For years, these women have made it difficult for those of us who stick to the issues without relying on our sexuality to attract readers. People tend to lump women bloggers together, and those morons give us all a bad name.

Now, there is the new world of vlogging, video posts, where instead of writing about a subject, you video yourself talking about it. And the morons have discovered their future in what can only be called "boudoir blogging," posting videos of themselves with background music, in skin tight, skimpy clothing with lots of cleavage and pouty red lips. The videos are supposed to voice an opinion on currents events, except, the message is lost behind the music, the dancing and the tits and ass.

I can't be bothered with that shit, there's a war going on! We have to keep the democrats from raising taxes, cutting and running, and we have to keep them from turning this country into a nanny state. We have to keep the liberals from erasing God from our culture and from "PC'ing us into submission to islam. We have to support our troops and save the world. Cleavage has nothing to do with it.

So, I'm a proud member of The Cotillion, a group of women bloggers who are not only smart as all heck, but they keep their tits out of the issues. The group was founded by Beth, at MVRWC, and I'm damn proud to know her.

And as of July 15, 2006, I do know her, personally, having met Beth face to face, along with Jody, Wendy, and Tammy. Chrissie was with us, but of course, I've known Chrissie for years, long before we both started blogging.

You might have heard rumors of the big get together in Tampa, (and I want it to be known that Vinnie was ready to shave his legs and put on a dress to attend). But for the real story, start with "Fear and Loathing in Tampa" at Girl on the Right, then follow up with "So there I was" by Chrissie; and "I Survived the Tampa Invasion" at Beth's MVRWC. There are pictures, but not much cleavage.

Yes, that's me, and yes, that's a tiara on my head and a drink in my hand (it is the Coltillion yannow). The drink was, if I remember correctly, a raspberry martini and it was most very excellent.

The blogosphere is an amazing place and one of these days, I'm going to write Al Gore and thank him for inventing it. I've had some amazing things happen since I started blogging, and I'd like to share one with you now.

Last May, I found an article about a woman who fell asleep in the library and woke up to discover that some guy had pleasured himself on her shoe. So? It's a no big deal, kinda stupid article that we all roll our eyes about, but, it reminded me of a little something that happened to me on the streets of Brooklyn, long ago... and I wrote the Cotillion about it:

Once upon a time, I was sitting on a bus bench on the corner of Kings Highway and Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn, legs crossed and my foot sticking out.... and a guy on bicycle snatched the shoe right off my foot and rode away.

And... I received this:

kings highway and coney island ave??????
i used to hang out on kings highway for years
actually it was e9th street and quentin road but close enough
ever go to cousins deli on CIA for a late night pig-out?
jane

East Ninth and Quentin. Five blocks from the apartment building where I grew up. There was a garage on the corner (I wonder if its still there) and I knew it well. I replied:

YOU HUNG OUT AT THE GARAGE???
UH OH. JANIE... IS THAT YOU????
Did you know Barbara Reilly???
OMG!!!

Unbelievable but true. The next email from Janie:

holy shit, yes that me
at the gararge
with the long hair
i talked to barbara recently
shes good
its that you?
i cant believe it
linda!

Yup. It was Janie, who you know as Jane, the same Jane who writes up a storm and keeps the blog Armies of Liberation. Jane is one of those of those bloggers who really makes a difference, and I admire her tremendously. I left Brooklyn right before my 18th birthday and I haven't seen or heard from Janie (she will always be Janie to me) in over 20 years. And there she was, part of the Cotillion, we had been emailing each other for months, without realizing who we were.

While the rest of Cotillion watched with shock and awe, Janie and I reminisced about our teenage years spent together on the streets of Brooklyn. We had been through so much together and catching up was very emotional. Quite a few of our friends from the old days are no longer with us, some from drug overdoses, a couple from suicide, and one murdered by David Berkowitz (Son of Sam). And 20-plus years later, here is Janie and Linda, conservative bloggers and together again, thanks to the Cotillion.

Life is amazing. The blogoshpere is amazing. and... The Cotillion is amazing.

Animals, they are Animals

Haaretz is reporting that early this morning palestinian terrorists managed to explode a bomb and kill an IDF soldier in Nablus. One soldier, Osher Damari, 20, from Netanya was killed. The "people" of palestine immediately grabbed up body parts from the corpse to play with them.

Photo
An armed Palestinian holds a boot belonging, according to Palestinians,
to an Israeli soldier killed earlier in the Old City of Nablus Monday July 17, 2006.

When this happened to Americans in Fallujah, America leveled the place. Israel should do the same.

Have a look at the slide show at Yahoo, just click on the picture above. You will see lots of pictures of the destruction in Lebanon, but I looked through more than half of it and saw no pictures of the destruction in Israel caused by Hebollah bombs. The anti-Israel bias is amazing. You would think the entire war is one sided with Israel the aggressor.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair and UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan have called for the deployment of an international force in southern Lebanon and the French are sending Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin to Beirut on Monday to express support for Lebanon. OI course, the French won't go to Israel to show their support, because there is none.

A Clarification on my Position on Immigration

Written By Linda at Right as Usual

In talking to some readers, I realized that they were under the impression that I disliked immigrants.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

My maiden name sounded distinctly "ethnic" and unusual. As a result, most people assumed that I was one of the many displaced people that arrived in the Cleveland area after WWII, including the recently arrived.

I, not being the brightest bulb in the pack, just thought they were interested in fascinating me when they eagerly initiated conversations. I didn't realize at the time they were hoping to talk to a fellow "newbie".

This resulted in my acquiring friendships with people from:

* Estonia * Germany * Brazil * Lebanon * Syria * India * Taiwan * Japan * Hong Kong * Pakistan * Vietnam * England * Greece * Jordan * Romania * Hungary * Poland * Spain * Peru
* Korea * Austria * Liberia * Yugoslavia * Mexico ...just to name the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

With the exception of one person from Mexico, they all had something in common - they LEGALLY immigrated.

And that's the crux of my "problem" with immigration. I simply think it's unfair to keep allowing people to flow over the border without going through channels. Some want to think of themselves as compassionate people, who gladly accept the "poor, huddled masses, yearning to breathe free".

Yeah, right. By allowing those who ignore inconvenient laws to escape retribution, our country is denying law-abiding foreigners to claim their rightful spot in the queue. Folks, we can't accept everybody. The world holds over 6 billion people. At what point would you like us to stop taking everyone in?

When our economy breaks down under the strain of taking in under-educated, under-skilled workers? Many of them don't contribute to Social Security and taxes - they are paid under the table.

When our schools no longer have the ability to educate our children? It costs money to provide ESL services, folks.

When the illegals outnumber the natives? And vote against democracy? See last week's Blogburst articles for examples of THAT.

Any discussion of immigration has to begin with a recognition that we can't take in a flood of people without documentation, who started that journey by breaking the law, and who largely don't speak much English and have little education or skills. To do so jeopardizes the very structure of our society. We can bring in SOME, we can adjust to helping them assimilate, we just can't manage the process with this many at once.

Yeah, I know they just want to work. The question to ask is, would you give up YOUR job to help the immigrant? Would you take them into YOUR house? Would you work a second job to pay for educating their kids?

If not, then you haven't the right to expect the rest of the country to do what you won't do.

Fouad Screams

From Welcome to my Lebanese Dream:

We are ALL guilty. ALL OF US. Emergency hiwar watani session??? I am not sure if I should laugh or puke my guts out on the table. Let it be known to all. We are scared, our lives are on the line, our country is history, but it's all our fault. Each and every one of us. These are the people we elected, these are the people we let freely thrive in their little haven of hatred and murderous ideals, and this is us, scared and incapacitated, failing but to point fingers and complain. Well let me tell you this folks, we pulled our pants down and stuck our naked asses out, and now that we're fucked, we really don't have jack shit to complain about.

Be well, be safe Fouad. You are not the enemy, Hezbollah is the enemy. I hope you and yours are not hurt.

The war rages on

As Eretz Yisrael fights for life.

Israeli 155mm mobile Howitzer returns
fire from Lebanese border near Moshav Zar'it.

The news from Israel is that Senior IDF sources are threatening to bomb and level Beirut skyscrapers if the Katuysha barrages continue. The Israeli army has imposed an air, land and sea blockade on Lebanon, in an effort to force the goverment to take action against Hizbullah.

According to MSM, Israel has bombed the Lebanon Airport and are harrying the shipping.

My friends in Israel tell me that fires are raging in Northern Israel due to katyusha fire and the hot and dry weather conditions. Citizens are in bomb shelters.

Another worry is an uprising in Israeli jails. If that happens, I hope the murderers are all shot while trying to escape.

The best place I've found for news directly from Israel is "Israel at Ground Level" although IsraellyCool is updating as often as he can and Hot Air is also updating regularly.

I'm praying. What else can I do?

Lebanon Has Declared War On Israel

A meeting to plot terrorist attacks on Israel was interrupted with an IAF strike in Gaza City earlier today. The terrorist Nabil al-Salmiah was killed along with his family, who were acting as human shields during the meeting. Terrorist Mohammed Deif got away, but not without injury.

IDF troops moved into central Gaza for the first time after midnight, effectively cutting the Strip in half.

Olmert issued the following statement:

"Israel is engaged in an on-going war to thwart Palestinian terrorism and stop it in its tracks before it reaches the hearts of our own communities. Palestinian terrorist leaders continue to look for refuge and hide behind their own population. Israel is compelled to take measures to stop this terror, including neutralizing the threat posed by Palestinians terrorists who are actively planning terror attacks against Israel."

Meanwhile, now there's another war, this time with Lebanon, to contend with:

Hezbollah kidnapped two Israel Defense Forces soldiers on the northern border in the midst of massive shelling attacks on Israel's north Wednesday morning. The IDF confirmed two of its soldiers were missing on the Lebanese border.

Israel's response:

Senior Israel Defense Forces officers said Wednesday in response to Hezbollah's attack on Israel's northern border and the kidnapping of two IDF soldiers that "if the abucted soldiers are not returned we'll turn Lebanon's clock back 20 years."

and then:

The IDF responded to the attacks from Lebanon with heavy artillery and tank fire.

How long before Syria jumps in? and Iran?

Enough already with putting IDF soldiers at risk to reduce enemy casualties. Israel can solve this problem without putting her soldiers at risk, just bomb the shit out of on city after the other, destroying them completely, until they surrender once and for all.

Arabs do not understand restraint, they do not understand compassion, they do not understand peace. They do not value life, they value death, destruction and chaos. The only thing they understand is merciless, relentless and continuous war until the enemy is so decimated that they cannot stand up long enough to fight.

It's called Free Speech

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. The FBI will look into an online video that shows two men shooting a Quran with a military rifle and then leaving the bullet-riddled holy book at a Chattanooga mosque.

The video shows the man purchasing a Quran at a bookstore, going to a wooded area and shooting the book, then throwing it on the ground outside the door of the Chattanooga Islamic center.

Excuse me, but does free speech only apply to stinky assed hippies and muslims? We all saw the video of muslims stomping the flag on a New York City street, while they pledged to make this country muslim. Why is shooting the koran any different than burning the flag?

Why is the FBI investigating the shooting of a koran?

FBI agent Tim Burke said the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations asked the Justice Department to investigate the incident.

Oh. I see. The FBI is investigating the shooting of a koran because CAIR wants them to. Why is the FBI doing the bidding of a terrorist organization dedicated to the implementation of Sharia law in America and the destruction of our way of life? What a bunch of crap this is. I can do anything I want to a koran that I own, I can piss on it, I can flush it down the toilet, I can shoot it, I can burn it, I can wipe my dog's ass with it.

"Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth." - Omar Ahmad, Founder of CAIR

What can we expect if they attain their goals? The answer is here: Rights of Non-Muslims in an Islamic State.

er... in this case, you'll need a telescope to do so...

"It's called Small Unit Space Transport and Insertion, or SUSTAIN, and it's a reusable spaceplane meant to get a squad of Marines to any hotspot on Earth in two hours -- then get them out. The idea is to reinforce embattled embassies, take out terrorist leaders or defuse hostage situations before it's too late."

Yup, that says spaceship! This is the future of the United States Military and another reason why we will win!

NYPD Jew

Yup. The NYPD has recruited its first Hasidic cop.

Joel Witriol - New York's Finest

Witriol has a degree from United Talmudical Seminary in Monroe, where he studied "religious stuff, mostly."

He's also held part-time jobs doing everything from driving a delivery truck to working for a furniture company.

But the Brooklyn native wanted something more - and believes he found it five years ago when, while volunteering for an ambulance company, he heard about the police auxiliary. "I decided to go and check it out," Witriol said. "I went for training and passed."

Growing up in Williamsburg, Witriol admitted that he had the same cops-and-robbers ideas about policing as many youngsters. "I thought it was only about arresting people," he said.

Most excellent!

Guard the Borders Blogburst

By Heidi at Euphoric Reality

This past weekend, the White House sent the Presidential advisor and Chief of Staff, Karl Rove, to participate in the National Council of The Race (La Raza) - the largest Hispanic entitlement advocacy group in the nation. In order to fully understand the influence of La Raza, it's important first to understand their agenda, and this Human Events exclusive by Rep. Charlie Norwood (R, GA) is as good a place to start as any:

Behind the respectable front of the National Council of La Raza lies the real agenda of the La Raza movement, the agenda that led to those thousands of illegal immigrants in the streets of American cities, waving Mexican flags, brazenly defying our laws, and demanding concessions.

Key among the secondary organizations is the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.

Rep. Norwood goes into further detail about La Raza, MEChA, and the Spiritual Plan for Aztlan, which we've covered in the Blogburst previously, but the most chilling section is excerpted below:

"For La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada."

That closing two-sentence motto is chilling to everyone who values equal rights for all. It says: "For The Race everything. Outside The Race, nothing."

If these morally sickening MEChA quotes were coming from some fringe website, Americans could at least console themselves that it was just a small group of nuts behind it. Nearly every racial and ethnic group has some shady characters and positions in its past and some unbalanced individuals today claiming racial superiority and demanding separatism. But this is coming straight from the official MEChA sites at Georgetown University, the University of Texas, UCLA, University of Michigan, University of Colorado, University of Oregon, and many other colleges and universities around the country.

MEChA was in fact reported to be one of the main organizers of those street demonstrations we witnessed over the past [months]. That helps explain why those hordes of illegal immigrants weren't asking for amnesty -- they were demanding an end to U.S. law, period. Unlike past waves of immigrants who sought to become responsible members of American society, these protesters reject American society altogether, because they have been taught that America rightfully belongs to them.

MEChA and the La Raza movement teach that Colorado, California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon and parts of Washington State make up an area known as "Aztlan" -- a fictional ancestral homeland of the Aztecs before Europeans arrived in North America. As such, it belongs to the followers of MEChA. These are all areas America should surrender to "La Raza" once enough immigrants, legal or illegal, enter to claim a majority, as in Los Angeles. The current borders of the United States will simply be extinguished.

This plan is what is referred to as the "Reconquista" or re-conquest, of the Western U.S.

But it won't end with territorial occupation and secession. The final plan for the La Raza movement includes the ethnic cleansing of Americans of European, African, and Asian descent out of "Aztlan."

As Miguel Perez of Cal State-Northridge's MEChA chapter has been quoted as saying: "The ultimate ideology is the liberation of Aztlan. Communism would be closest [to it]. Once Aztlan is established, ethnic cleansing would commence: Non-Chicanos would have to be expelled -- opposition groups would be quashed because you have to keep power."

Ethnic cleansing, espoused by one of the largest and most influential student groups supported by La Raza - the same La Raza that Bill Clinton and Karl Rove are dallying with. Lest you still think this is a "fringe" group, despite all the evidence to the contrary, you should know that they are implementing their plans, in the face of mainstream America's somnolent tolerance. For instance, Art Olivier is a Libertarian running for Governor in California, and recently reported the following:

"My campaign headquarters received a package in the mail today from an unknown sender, where the return address should be, was a sticker of the Mexican flag. Inside was a Mexican flag and three pages of propaganda. The first page said the whites will soon go back to Europe, the blacks must go back to Africa and scribbled on the bottom was 'and f*** Asians too. We will take our land back through RECONQUISTA!'

The next two pages are El Plan de Aztlan. It starts off 'be warned Gringos' and goes into how the La Raza de Bronze will drive out the exploiters and declares independence of their mestizo nation. Under their economy goals is 'Land and realty ownership will be acquired by the community for the people's welfare.'

This movement is without a doubt racist and communist. Is this the same La Raza that Bill Clinton & Karl Rove spoke at?"

-Art Olivier.

The Alamo Alliance was able to reproduce the exact documents for public viewing.

(Click on the thumbnails to view)

El_Plan_Cover.jpg Cover Page: Whites and blacks are invaders. Whites must return to Europe, and blacks to Africa. F*** the Asians. Take back the land through Reconquista!

El_Plan_1.jpgPage 1 of the Plan for Aztlan: Mission, organizational goals, declaration of independence for the mestizo nation, nationalism.

El_Plan_2.jpgPage 2 of the Plan for Aztlan: Communization of public assets. Six point call to action. Call to arms in self-defense against the "exploiter" and to drive out the non-Chicanos.

And those rallies that were so popular this spring? Well, you probably didn’t see or hear about this. View a racist card that was popularly circulated among the participants at all the Latino rallies and protest:

Aztlan card front.jpg

Front

Aztlan card back.jpg

Back

On September 16th, the day of Mexican independence, La Raza de Bronze, and all its affiliates, plans to stage yet more Chicano walk-outs of all schools and universities, and hope to sustain it to force a complete revision of the educational system. Considering that their much-touted "Day Without Latinos" was a total bust, it's unlikely that they can sustain such an activity for any length of time - though we can hope.

Wake up, Americans. This problem is not losing momentum, nor going away. In fact, it is rapidly gaining in credence and legitimacy, thanks to the White House's apparent endorsement of their activities.

Does this pesky Reconquista problem only affect the Southwestern United States? No, of course not. Consider that the two largest engines driving the entire American economy are California and Texas. Consider further that there is an open empathy between Reconquistas and Islamists. Visit the Voice of Aztlan to see for yourself how they rejoice in American deaths at the hands of terrorists worldwide, since it furthers their own cause of re-conquest. You can bet that La Raza's seditious activities will impact your wallet at the very least, and your entire way of life. Stay awake.

Hoochie?

I found this picture of hamasshole terrorists in a CNN slideshow:

So, whats with the cheap hoochie clothes being sold in Gaza?

Interestingly, Guysen.Israël.News reports:

Despite the United States' reputation as an evil nation in the Gaza Strip, due to their support for Israel and their intervention in Iraq, the American army uniform has become the latest thing in Palestinian fashion.

According to Omar Bilbaysi, owner of three clothing stores in the center of Rafah, "the words US Army are not important; what counts is wearing a military uniform and the fact that the American army is powerful"

Meanwhile, CNN reports that hamassholes shot at a car full of Al-Jazeera reporters on Wednesday in Gaza City. Unfortunately, no one was injured.

UPDATE: The Emperor is reporting that the hamassholes managed to injure two of them there Al-Jazeera reporters after all. Too bad. So sad.

Guard the Borders Blogburst

By Heidi at Euphoric Reality

Last year, I experienced a Fourth of July that I never want to repeat. I wrote about it, but at the time, I don't think my experience registered on anyone's radar. Here's part of the description as I posted it last year:

...all day, I was looking forward to the famous Freedom Over Texas Celebration in Houston - one of the top 10 patriotic shows and fireworks displays in the country. I was determined to brave the crowds (which my husband and I typically loathe) with kiddos in tow, in order to enjoy the culminating holiday of our nation’s heritage. We drove an hour to downtown Houston, spent 20 minutes looking for parking, and finally stepped into the crowds to move toward the center of the Celebration.

Here is what I saw as I crossed Allen Parkway near Buffalo Bayou:

There were NO 4th of July decorations - NONE. No red, white, and blue - anywhere.

There were no American flags.

No one was dressed in red, white, and blue except me and my kids.

There were no patriotic songs.

There was no indication of patriotic pride or nationalism in any way…

No one - not one person around us - spoke English.

The music that was blasting through the loudspeakers was Mexican mariachi or some such.

Home made pig skins were sold in baggies - and screeching kids in dirty clothes were hawking water bottles out of grubby coolers.

I saw more green Mexican flags and paraphernalia than anything American-themed.

What is this - Houston, Mexico?! Had I mistakenly ended up in some grungy street carnival in Little Mexico, instead of one of the “Top 10 Patriotic Celebrations in the Country”?! I knew that there was supposed to be military equipment displays somewhere in the center (which I was making a bee-line for), along with stages for Clint Black and LeAnn Rimes. I’m not a country-western aficionado, but I knew that I could most likely expect a moving patriotic song or two. As the crowds surged toward the Freedom Celebration, my family and I lagged more and more behind. Hot, sweaty, and rudely jostled in the rowdy crowd - I grew more and more angry. Looking around, I realized that no one seemed to be there to celebrate the 4th of July. It seemed like any generic public fiesta - just one more reason to party. I stopped walking and finally acknowledged the fact that whatever ‘celebracion’ was going on around us had nothing to do with America. I was far beyond disappointed…I was furious.

We left.

I took a lot of heat in the comments from people who objected to the fact that I objected to a Mexican-themed Fourth of July. But others wrote in comments and via email that they had seen and experienced a similar hi-jacking of our national holiday; they seemed more bewildered than furious. "How did this happen? When did this happen?!" There was no real public indignation.

Fast forward to 2006. This year, the in-your-face waving of the Mexican flag will have much more significance considering the politically-charged events of the past year. In a year that has seen illegal aliens gleefully desecrate Old Glory, and raise the Mexican flag over our own, such an offensive display is guaranteed to raise the ire of red-blooded Americans. After a year's worth of heavy-handed demands for the rights and privileges of full citizenship, illegal aliens and AINOs (Americans In Name Only) may feel emboldened to wave the Mexican flag during our Independence Day celebrations - just as they did last year with no public outcry.

I, for one, won't leave a 4th of July celebration like I did last year - furious but silent. I will say something to anyone who flaunts a foreign flag during our Independence Day. I want them to know it's inappropriate, deliberately incendiary, and offensive to people who deeply love this country and our valiant flag. This year, I have a feeling I won't be standing alone.

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN IN YOUR TOWN!

Holy Shit!

was my first thought when I saw this:

ISRAEL last night threatened to assassinate Palestinian Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh if Hamas militants did not release a captured Israeli soldier unharmed.

The unprecedented warning was delivered to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in a letter as Israel debated a deal offered by Hamas to free Corporal Gilad Shalit.

The article is here, its from a paper called The Australian. I haven't seen confirmation anywhere. No one else is running this story.

Its unlikely that the Israeli Government would make such an announcement on the Sabbath. But then again, it is permitted to break the Sabbath if a life is at stake.

True or not, the timing is perfect either way, as Israel will not be discussing this until after the Sabbath.

Who knows what will happen between now and then.

--------------

UPDATE VIA MVRWC: From YNet News:

Palestinian president warns Palestinian prime minister Israel may hurt him, other Hamas ministers if crisis around Israeli soldier's abduction is not resolved soon, al-Hayat newspaper reports; Palestinian security sources believe Israel will prefer to target senior Hamas members in Damascus

and United Press International is quoting The Australian:

GAZA, July 1 (UPI) -- Israel has threatened to assassinate the Palestinian prime minister if Hamas militants do not release a captured Israeli soldier unharmed, it was reported.

The warning was delivered to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in a letter, as Israeli officials considered an offer by Hamas to free Cpl. Gilad Shalit -- and Israeli military officials prepared an invasion force for a second major offensive into Gaza, The Australian reported.

Hamas political leaders in Gaza -- including Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh -- had gone into hiding.

This is gonna be interesting.
