Q&A With Sir Banagor
A reader emails me the following:
… But I fear there is almost no hope for America and that Europe will soon be lost. Tell me do you feel there is anything that can awaken the West at this late hour?
To tell the truth, the answer is no.
The last month has provided the answers for all to see: we are going to lose this war. I say “we” as in “the West”. We don’t have what it takes. I wrote that Bin Laden is right: we are a paper tiger. Nothing so far has shown otherwise. Nothing that the West has done has changed that perception. We go to “war”, but it is really a police action which is doomed to failure. War is not what we have seen in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Gaza, or anything else. War - real war - on a global scale is not being fought by the West. Five years after 9/11, we have nothing to show for our convictions because we have no convictions.
So we are doomed to fail. The last month has convinced me of this.

I'll tell you what I think, and I've said this before, many times and many ways:
Nothing less than the death or enslavement of every single American will ever satisfy Islamists. That is their stated goal but no one seems to be listening. This is not new and it has nothing to do with anything that happened today, or yesterday, or last week, or last month, or last year. It has nothing to do with Israel. It is what it is.
The name of the enemy is Islam and the name of the war is Jihad.
I fear Sir Banagor is right and that we will lose. The fact is that we are losing right here, in the streets of America.
The democrats want to surrender. Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, John Murtha, they all want to give up, and let Jihad have its way. Jihad in America is led by CAIR, who is aided and abetted by the judges who sit on the bench, the ACLU, ANSWER, UFPJ and every moonbat that ever held up a "peace at any price" sign on a street corner. They are killing our people all over the world, and they using our justice system at home to beat us.
Jihadists blow up our soldiers, kill women and children and these lunatics support them. Jihadists chant Death to America and these lunatics sing kumbaya. Code Pink sends them money. This past month we saw millions of Americans hit the streets in support of one of the most notorious and bloodthirsty terrorist organizations we have ever known, an organization responsible for the deaths of 241 peacekeepers in Beruit, our embassies, plane hijackings. Hezbollah is responsible for murder and mayhem around the world and this month, America gave it support. We are building a memorail in Pennsylvnia that honors the dead of 9/11, but the design does not honor Americans who died trying to foil their evil plot to kill innocent people. Oh no, its shaped as a red crescent, it points towards mecca and it honors the islamic jihadists who killed our people.
The mainstream media publishes fraudulent news stories complete with staged photographs to generate sympathy and compassion for the enemy. The New York Times gives them our secrets and tells them how to get around our investigations as we try to stop them from killing us. Americans travel to the front lines of the war, to protect the terrorists with their very lives and when they are killed, they blame America or Israel.
These lunatic liberals have chosen to give their support to islamic jihad. In doing so, they have chosen to embrace a monster the likes of which they are unable to comprehend.
They have no idea what the consequences of their actions will be in the future, because September 11, 2001 was nothing but a small part of the islamic agenda to cleanse all lands of all kufirs, infidels and jews, and to rule those lands according to islamic law. What happens is Israel is also but a small part in the agenda. The islamic agenda is to wipe out every culture, every religion, and for islam to rule the world.
If the islamic agenda is successful, the future might not be to their liking. Today, they are free to support terrorism, spread lies and sow dissention only because there are those today who fight the good fight to defend them. Because of the efforts of the brave men and women who serve in the United States Military, perhaps the islamic agenda will not be successful in this lifetime. They may sleep well and warm in their beds tonight, and enjoy a lifetime of indolence and indifference.
They do not consider the legacy they will leave behind for their children and their children's children.
If the islamic agenda is successful, it will be because of the actions of the media and the war protestors. In the end, they will sentence America to suffer under the very same monster they embrace today.
If their actions today bear fruit tomorrow, it is future Americans who will suffer under islamic law. As they suffer, surely they will curse the names and the memory of those who turned their face from the truth and embraced the lie.
Indeed, if their actions bear fruit tomorrow, future Americans will surely curse the memory of all those who choose to bow their head and look the other way, those who today support terrorism and nurture the beast.
As long as there is breath in my body, I will continue to fight the enemy in any and every way I can. But is it too late to win?
I fear Sir Banagor is right, and I pray he is wrong.

Just a thought, and an ugly one: Remember Beslan? Imagine color photo images and sound of hysterical, screaming mothers and fathers. The sight of little girls and boys covered in blood, and the bodies of their schoolmates strewn about a playground. I'll let you fill in the rest.
Now imagine this isn't Beslan. This is New Jersey. Or Chicago. Or L.A.
9/11 pulled most of us out of our sleep, but yes we are not fully awake yet. If we see the above scenario, in OUR country, depend on the force of will reinserting itself into international and domestic affairs. Depend on it! And watch how fast the peacenik liberals suddenly become the second-largest threatened species in North America (I'll let you guess who is the biggest group is).
It will take another, perhaps two more, tragedies. But when our victims are no longer tiny images falling from a building, but graphic images of little children...the tiger will come out. I am absolutely positive of this.
