No need to worry...
I'm sure its just another troubled youth...
PARKLAND -- A small homemade acid bomb detonated at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Tuesday morning and several people were treated for irritations from a flying liquid, the Broward Sheriff's Office said. There were no serious injuries.
The school at 5901 Pine Island Road was immediately placed on lockdown. The lockdown ended around 9:30 a.m., when parents were allowed to pickup their children and take them home.
No one is in custody.
The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. when the homemade device in a liter soda bottle exploded in the middle of a courtyard at the high school just before it was scheduled to open.
BSO said five or six students were treated for mild skin irritations from flying liquid – probably muriatic acid – that mostly splashed on their arms and from smoke that irritated some eyes. No other injuries were reported. Paramedics treated students at the scene and the BSO Bomb Squad was called in.
"It's a big deal, but luckily no one got hurt," said BSO Commander Dave Carry.
Sure, it's a big deal, but not big enough so that you'll see it on the national news.
UPDATE: Yup, it was a troubled youth.

Irvine has been suspended from school and could be expelled.
Is that all? Parkland Florida for those that don't know is fairly upscale.
