And ... Ms. Underestimated has the video of Gene with his daughter visiting with our Troops and our Vets at Long Beach Veterans Hospital, along with some quotes from a recent interview.

You best bring a hanky... its emotional, and you can see how sincere he is, how much he means what he says. Bless his great big heart.

He has been supporting our troops, and Israeli troops for a while, and I believe he donates various items and products. He is still a HUGE lib.

Not that big of lib, he voted for Bush, and when asked why, he said "When you walk through a bad neighborhood, you don't want a poodle by your side. You want a Rottweiler."

Oh I know he voted for Bush, and heard the comment, but on every other issue I think he leans to the left.
He was interviewed by Hanity and Colmes and I believe he told Hanity something along the lines of "I disagree with you on almost everything." I was tired and flipping channels at the time, just happened to see that small section.

Heh. My first thought was... Hannity is on my shit list.

He ain't perfect, but he's doing the right thing. If he's a lib, then I wish other libs were more like him.

I have watch "Gene Simmons Family Values" and they have no respect for him. Of course he is the producer so maybe he wants it to look that way.
He did have a sit down will Bill Mar (sp?) (Politically Incorrect)

I was at a Temple service Friday night for a Auf Ruf, and the Rabbi went into detail about Memorial day and the sacrifices of the past and present. It was not political at all, but a fine tribute to our service personal on Memorial Day weekend.

I'm glad to hear the Rabbi did honor to our troops, and Mazel Tov to the happy couple. I have to wonder why they did it Friday nite, traditionally they are held on Sabbath morning.

Being an enormous fan of the hard rock/heavy metal scene from the 80s (but not a giant KISS fan), the record is clear that Gene Simmons is down for the struggle regarding the Global War On Terror. He gets the fact that Israel is up against the wall on a daily basis. Social conservatives might dismiss the messenger out of hand because he makes no apology about his exploits with women during his KISS years, but we have to take support on the GWOT from whatever source it emanates from. I think it's a mistake for conservatives of any stripe to dismiss people out of hand like this- Gene is not running for office. Gene gets this one right- and it's great to see him giving a morale boost to our injured vets.

Come to think of it, a Detroit Rock City/Motor City Madman ticket in '08 would certainly give the GWOT a much needed kick in the you know what. We need to start smashing alot more guitars on heads of terrorists and dhimmicrats.

Personally, I don't give two chocolate-covered f**ks if Gene is liberal or voted for Bush or whatever. His mom is a concentration camp survivor and her son made a huge name for himself in the USA. He has the class to give something back to the troops and if anyone disagrees with me, I have only two words:

Myyaatt Daayymon!
