There is no terrorist threat

My post from August, 2006: Northwest Flight 327 Revisted

and the latest "news"

"Agency management was not only covering up numerous probes and dry-run encounters from Congress and other federal law-enforcement agencies, it was also hiding these incidents from their own flying air marshals," said P. Jeffrey Black, an air marshal stationed in Las Vegas.

Homeland Security officials initially denied the complaints and blamed passengers who reported the incident to the press as behaving hysterically.

and... The Inspector General's Report.

and... the Syrian Music star sings praise of suicide bombers, something that was known since 2004.

They let them go to maintain some ridiculous PC standard forced upon us by the lunatic left fringe. It took them three years to admit it.

Unless and until we recognize the enemy for who it is, what it is and where it is, we are sheep being led to the slaughter.

It's amazing isn't it? That it took them three years to acknowledge that we're no safer on commercial airplanes today than we were in 2001?

Once again increasing the size of government has done nothing but increase the size and response time of government bureaucracy.

That's always helpful. /sarcasm

I have to disagree with you, Janette. I think we're safer on commercial flights than we were in 2001, but the government has absolutely nothing to do with it.

The difference is the mentality of passengers, like the ones who beat the snot out of Richard Reid when they saw him trying to light the fuse attached to his sneakers, those on Flight 327 who were aware that something wasn't right and said something about it not just on the flight but after to the media, and those on the plane with the flying imams.

Those are the incidents we know about. I suspect there are many more.

Both Doyle and Janette seem to have a point. Allow me to put a suggestion forth to meld the two positions:

From now on, we (flyers) pay no heed to the bullshit protocol foisted upon us by the PC-brainwashed enuch FAA and, instead, do the following: whenver we see Ahmed and Abdullah playing mind games with us and cavorting themselves as though there were back in Allah's Litterbox, we beat the snot out of them and make a real nuisance of ourselves.

Then let the air marshals deal with the EXTREMELY EMBARRASSING necessity to explain to the media that they did nothing to avert an Arab-inspired incident while they arrested the flyers who did.

L-E-T'-S R-O-L-L!

Can't say it'll be much fun, but the headlines would be a f***ing scream!
