National polls place him in the GOP's bottom tier, with between 1 percent and 2 percent support. His base partly consists of -- in no particular order -- people who want prostitution legalized, taxpayers who oppose paying taxes, a white supremacist running for the Florida state House, and those who think the Sept. 11 attacks were a government conspiracy.

I think the NeoRons have crawled back under ground for a while.
There is a Libertarian talk show on a Miami radio station it is a nightly show but the station only has it one night a week. (At least it was only one night when I was listening) I found it an interesting show when they were discussing politics and other subjects, I enjoyed listening. I think I went three shows, the biggest thing to them was legalizing all drugs, every problem in the world was related to drugs being illegal in the United States. I checked their website out and their daily show was all about legalizing drugs. So when I think of Libertarian the only thing I could think was that is all they cared about. Now the NeoRons are out I am convinced they are all nut cases.

He'll be the Republican Kucinich... He has a hardcore of support, who will keep him running, even after it's clear he's going nowhere.
OTOH, I voted for him back in '88 and don't regret it. But when the Libertarian Party and now, Ron Paul put the blame for 9/11 on American foreign policy... well, my libertarianism is only small-l, I guess.
